Protein is one of my 7 foundational health habits, and I want to give you a quick tip for how you can easily increase your protein intake. So before you start any meal, decide what your protein source is going to be. Think about that first and then build the rest of the meal around it. Now, when you do that, you will start with things like yogurts and eggs and fish and meat and these types of things, and the rest of your meal, your carbs and your fats, will tend to fall around that.. And as a result, your protein intake will be very high. And if you don't do that, you will tend to find that you gravitate towards things like toast and cereals and croissants and pastries and these types of things for breakfast, maybe a sandwich for lunch, maybe some type of bar. And then for dinner, you will find things like pasta and, I don't know, rice and stuff like that. And you will tend to find that your protein intake is much, much lower. So if you start protein first, I promise you that your overall protein intake is going to be much higher. And you can check out episode 12 of the podcast for more tips on how to increase your protein.
