Without spending a fortune by bootstrapping it from nothing so we can help the most people and stay become highly profitable? That is the question and this podcast will give you the answer. My name is Daniel Rosen and welcome to Credit Repair Business Secrets.
Okay, if this is your first time listening to my podcast, every week I give credit repair tips and advice on bootstrapping your business from nothing. So be sure to click that subscribe button now and get ready to start changing lives. Okay, let's get into this. The key to success in credit repair and in life is setting goals. I like to say the secret to creating luck and the secret of millionaires and billionaires are setting goals. But I don't just say that because I believe it. No, it's not just a personal philosophy. It's actually been proven. As crazy as it sounds. A Harvard Business Review study found that 83% of the population said that they didn't have goals. 14% said that they had a plan in mind, but their goals aren't written down. 3% said that they do have goals and their goals are written down. The Harvard study found that those 14% of people who have goals are 10 times more successful than those without goals. And the 3% of people who write their goals down are 3 times more successful than the 14% with unwritten goals. These numbers are insane. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Studies also show that sharing your goals with family and friends also increases the odds of achieving them. And setting goals in business leads to enhanced performance, engagement, and optimism. If you have a team, I can tell you from personal experience, when you're a lonely entrepreneur with a dream, just about the only thing you have control of are the goals that you've set for yourself and for your company. That's why it's so important to set the right goals in life and in business. Here's how this relates to us. In the credit repair business, goals tend to be very personal. And saying how can I help you? Really means how can I change your life? Most credit heroes have experience striving for the same goals as their customers. We start by fixing ourselves, and that puts us in the unique position to relate to our customers as we guide them towards their goals. Understanding their goals enables you to provide them with proper tools, dispute tactics, and financial coaching that they need to succeed. Understanding your goals allows you to provide yourself with the structure, focus and planning needed for your business to succeed. Here's the thing to remember before you set goals for the next year, you need to understand this past year. Review this past year and ask yourself what worked? What didn't? What milestones did you celebrate? What failures did you learn from? Think about it. If you had to do this last year over again, what would you change? And during this process, don't be defensive or harsh. No, be honest. Treat it like a diagnosis. There's good news and bad news. Which do you want first? Don't look outside. Look in. Don't be accountable. Successful people take responsibility for their failures and they press forward. Successful people also know that it's really important to fail because failure is how you learn and grow stronger. I failed more than anyone I know and that's the key to success. Here's why this is important. You really need to know yourself and your business if you want to set goals that can truly improve your life and and grow your business in 2023. That's where Smart Goals come into play. They work. Smart Goals stands for specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time Sound. Smart works for me, and I know it can work for you. Here's what you need to know. When you're ready to write your 2023 goals, grab paper and pencil and answer the following questions. Specific what is the accomplishment? What actions will you take? What exactly changes? Measurable how will you know when you're making progress? What data will you use to measure success? Achievable? Is it realistically doable? Do you have the necessary skills and resources? If not, what do you need or whose help do you need? Relevant? Why is the result important to you? Does it matter to other goals that you have in business or in your personal life? Remember, sharing your goals with others increases the odds of achieving them. Time bound how much time do you need to make this happen? Once you have those questions answered, review what you've written. You should have a specific achievement that matters to your life or business that is realistic and measurable, with an idea of how long it'll take. Sounds pretty smart to me. But don't forget the old saying, a goal without a plan is just a wish. So so if the smart goal turns out to be gigantic and intimidating, your next step is to break it down into a whole lot of smaller goals. Divide it up into quarterly, monthly and daily bite sizes. And you'll see that all those tiny goals will line up to form a map to your gigantic goal. And now you have a plan. And here's my final point. The key to success in credit repair, in business and in life or are all the same set goals, write them down and share them with loved ones and you'll have a happy new year. And just a reminder, this podcast is.

And today's spotlight is on Simon Akin. About a week ago Simon posted a comment saying hi. Since the day is almost over, wanted to share my results with everyone. I managed to get about 18 to 20 test clients today and still counting. Facebook post helped a bit, but I ended up dming a lot of folks on Facebook and reaching out to my contacts on my phone which proved to be very effective. In the days since, Simon also posted his logo and slogan. Simon says credit up, don't let your credit down. And he asked the community to share success stories people experienced in their first three to six months. Wow Simon, you're a real success story. Test clients, figuring out marketing strategies, creating your brand and engaging your peers. Those are all great steps towards your larger goals.
