Hey Credit heroes. You are missing out on a lot of money if you don't have a great website. Websites are important for any business, even if you're a small credit repair organization. But they are only as good as you make them. That's why today I'm going to show you how to turn your website into a lead generating machine. You'll learn the exact steps to start bringing in more clients with without making one single phone call. So you better stick around.
So the big question is this. How can we take our passion for helping people with their credit and turn it into a successful business without taking loans? Without spending a fortune by bootstrapping it from nothing so we can help the most people and still become highly profitable? That is the question and this podcast will give you the answer. My name is Daniel Rosen and welcome to Credit Repair Business secrets.
In the 20 years since releasing my first credit repair software, I have helped thousands of businesses scale from the ground up. And I've experienced many of the same challenges that credit heroes face. And I've learned proven ways to overcome them and succeed. We all know a great website when we see one. It's eye catching, easy to navigate, and it gives us what we need fast, whether we're shopping for something or just browsing. But when it comes to credit repair, a website can be so much more than just a good looking homepage. It's actually your most powerful sales tool. Here's how this relates to us. In an earlier podcast I told you about the tsr, which is the Telemarketing Sales Rule which is enforced by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to crack down on credit repair companies who telemarket and are not in compliance with the rules. Under the tsr, it is illegal to telemarket credit repair services and then charge advance fees. So the easiest solution is to just avoid all phone calls and all zoom calls with any leads who are not yet a client. But that doesn't mean you can't grow your credit repair business. Your secret weapon? It's your website. Cue the epic music. Now more than ever, it is important to have a strong website that does a lot of the heavy lifting for you. Here's a thing to remember, your website should be all about giving away information for free. I know that sounds like the opposite of actually building a business, but I'm going to show you exactly how giving away something for free is is great for a business. First, it's important to keep in mind that websites are usually the first place that people go when they start researching credit repair but they're not just looking for sites that have pretty pictures. No, they're looking for sites that answer their questions and talk about the things that they want to know about. So first and foremost they are looking for information. But if you present that information in a way that sounds salesy or pushy and you're probably going to lose them. On the other hand, if you create content that explains credit repair in a caring and helpful manner while providing it for free, they're likely to appreciate it and trust you. They'll see that you're caring and understanding to their issues, and when you build that trust, those leads are more likely to become actual clients. And the next thing you know, you're growing your credit repair business, all without the need of a sales team. But remember, compliance. Compliance is key and to make sure that you are compliant, I'm going to give you our very own TSR checklist. The link will be over there in the show notes. The checklist is divided into six sections, each designed to make sure that you build out your site correctly without violations. Now to make your website work for you, here are my top six must have strategies and I'm giving you this information for free. See how that works? Here's what you need to know. First, make sure that you have a website and that it looks nice and loads quickly. Make sure that you use high quality images, don't leave any placeholder text, and show off your business in a professional way. If you need an affordable and easy way to set up a website, check out mycreditrepairsite.com and I'll include the link over there in the show notes. Remember that all your marketing efforts if you're on YouTube, Instagram or TikTok, any links you mention should send people directly to a self service signup page. That's where the potential client can sign themselves up, add payment information, sign your agreement and become a client and go through onboarding all from your website. This will avoid any compliance issues and it will allow you to secure and convert leads and even while you sleep. If you want to know how to get that self service landing page, it's a tool already included in Credit Repair Cloud. Here's what else you need. Number one Lead Magnets Lead magnets are great tools for attracting potential customers and capturing their contact information. They include things like white papers and ebooks where you can give someone great information like how to increase your credit score in return for their email address. They don't need to be complicated, they just need to have helpful information and let's be honest, there are a lot of things people don't know about credit repair that you can help educate them on, and doing this builds trust. And when they're finally ready to hire someone, they'll want to hire you. Number two Newsletters Newsletters are similar to lead magnets in that they offer similar valuable information, but they're provided on an ongoing, constant basis. Remember, there's plenty to talk about with credit repair, so content is not very difficult to come up with for a newsletter. There's a lot of great tools out there that make sending professional newsletters very easy, so be sure to do some research 3. Blogs Speaking of plenty to talk about, blogs are still a tried and true way to deliver information on your website. Unlike a newsletter, they are not delivered to a recipient, they just live on your website. Feel free to make your blog articles about your own personal credit journey to really lock in that trust aspect. Blogs are also really helpful for appearing in Google search results, so make sure to consider keywords and questions that people are actually searching for when you're writing your blog. Number four An Automated Email Campaign Once you start to build up an email list, you can come up with an automated email sequencer or drip campaign that delivers emails about the latest trends or news or gives people tips, whatever you want to say. A good drip campaign is all about planning and segmenting your audience. This way you can send the right messages to the right people, whether they are new leads, active clients, or past clients. So they're getting content that really speaks to where they're at. And the best part? Automation means that this is all happening in the background, saving you time while keeping your audience engaged and continuing to build trust over the long term. Number five Sales Videos Sales videos are great because leads get to actually see you. You're not just words on a page, you are a face on the screen. Plus, they get to see your personality and they'll be impressed with your expertise. These videos are great for selling things like a credit assessment or credit repair services and they can even guide a lead on how to complete your self service signup. When crafting a script for your sales video, I suggest either the who, what why, how structure where you first introduce yourself the who, then you introduce your product or offer the what, then you explain the benefits the why, and then you walk them through the self service signup process so they know what to expect. This structure is perfect for selling a credit assessment. The structure I like for selling credit repair services is called the Star Story Solution and I'm going to give you links down in the show notes where you can dive into that in a lot more detail. But in a nutshell, the script starts with a star that's usually representative of your audience. So for credit repair services, you're talking to someone who has credit issues. They are the star. The story is how they got into this bind and where they're at in terms of their bad credit and how difficult it is for them to qualify for a loan or buy a house. And then the solution is you and your credit repair services. Number six Social Chat. You have the ability to add chat on your social media platforms and have that on your website. This is a great alternative to directing leads to call you. It allows them to ask you specific questions and get direct and instant answers. Here's a quick walkthrough of how to generate direct messaging URLs for social platforms like Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger. And I'll also provide a link that's going to explain it all to you as well and I'm going to put that over there in the Show Notes. The format for an Instagram Direct Message link is. Your username, and then replace your username with your Instagram username. For example, if your username is rchheroes, your link would be. Heroes and make sure your account's privacy setting is set to public. For Facebook, the format for a Messenger link is M Me your username. Replace your username with your Facebook page's username, and for WhatsApp, the format is. This kind of bracket number and then this kind of bracket and where it says number you'll place your full phone number. So if your site is hosted by My credit repair site, you'd click Login to go to the Login page, enter your email and password and click Login. Click on Edit Site under the My Site section. Click on Edit Site in the top right corner and now you're in the Site Builder. Click on Pages at the top, select the page where you want to edit your buttons. From the left hand menu, click on the button you want to edit. Click on Link, Click on Website URL. Paste the URL from your preferred messaging platform, click on the Publish button and repeat this process as needed for each button you want to have on your website. And if you'd like to delete a button, hover over it and click on the X icon located on the top right corner to confirm the action. Click on the Delete button and here's my final point. A website is your brand's most powerful marketing tool. It never stops and it never closes. It provides you with a chance to showcase your knowledge, your expertise, your services, and your ability to provide value to everyone. And best of all, it's a great way to attract and gather leads and get important contact information to grow your business even more. Never underestimate your website's power. In today's world, it isn't just important, it is essential for the success you want to achieve. And I'll end by saying if you still need a Credit Repair Cloud account, check it out.
