Honoring the struggle gives yourself a perspective check. Everything I've ever done, I was allowing myself to stack the wins into my mindset. So I look at something today, I'm like, this is not that hard. I got beat up all the time when I grew up. This is not that hard. I've gone through the most difficult financial situations. This is not that hard. I've been with people as they're dying. That's hard. What happens is you get negative and you zero in on this issue and you think it's hard. You know what's hard? Fending for your life. You know what's hard? Feeding your kids when you're broke. That's hard. Your chapter ain't hard, babe. That's what we have to do with honoring the struggle, says, yeah, I honor the struggle. It's like, it's important for me to address it, but I have honor in struggle. You already have the honor. You already have the strength. You're gonna show up as a person of honor, respect, integrity, compassion, dignity. You already have it. So the struggle, struggle is small compared to yourself.
