A short monologue contrasting two mindsets—'creators' who pursue alternative financial paths and learn money rules used by the wealthy, versus 'contributors' who follow conventional advice like 401(k)s and Roth IRAs. The speaker argues creators gain wealth by understanding and exploiting how financial rules are written.
The two different types of people in the world. On one side there are creators, and one side there are contributors. And the contributors are the ones who hear this message day in and day out about the 401k and how you're supposed to live your life and how you're supposed to put your funds in this, and this is how you're going to be able to retire in the future. And the creators are the ones going, hey, my gut, there's something inside me that says there's a different way, there's a different path, and I'm going to learn what that path looks like. And they take that side road and they split off and start creating their own businesses and learning about all of the rules of the money that usually the 1% have. It's been just them. They know all the rules that you've got all these articles about how people open up a Roth IRA at the 1% and suddenly, years later, they've got $20 million. And people go, how did that happen? It's really being on that creator side of the equation and knowing how the rules are written and how you can play the money game.
