Questions this video answers
The fifth anniversary.
Betty.
Their home office in Westchester.
Nearly 50 employees.
Six companies.
Hey, everybody. Flip and Danny here, founders of the Freedom Real Estate Group family of companies, and welcome to another episode of our.
Podcast, which is called Freedom through Passive Income Celebration Celebration Edition.
That's right, because this episode is actually our first fifth anniversary.
Happy anniversary. We were supposed to have this.
Make it rain. There we go. I did it.
We're gonna have to play the. Oh, it's still gotten my water. We're gonna have to play for you the test of this outside, because we actually tested this whole thing before we did it. And you'll probably see bloopers at the end of fl. Open the second window. Anyways, all of this festivity is because.
It'S our fifth anniversary.
Fifth anniversary of the Freedom Real Estate Group family of companies. Oh, my goodness. We're gonna be cleaning this up. We should have done this as, like, as the last episode. We're gonna be recording in here all day.
This is awesome. And you know that coming from somebody who absolutely hates glitter, this is awesome. So. Well, of all. So as it was five years ago.
Yes.
We were just sitting in our house in our home office.
Yes.
And we, like, we knew we wanted to. We wanted to do something bigger than what we were doing.
Yep.
And we said, all right, well, we need a name. And so we started thinking about names, and all of a sudden it was, hey, what about Freedom Real Estate Group? I like to ring that. Yeah, let's see if it's available. And behold, it was available. Yes. And well, that started the. This trip for the last five years.
Yes.
And many other companies followed shortly thereafter.
Yeah.
But that's where it started. And then shortly after we named it, then we had our first employee. Betty.
Yes.
And so out of our house, out of our office.
Westchester.
In Westchester. Yeah. We actually welcomed Betty. She took over our dining room.
Yes.
We just moved her dining room table over and put a desk there. We didn't really give her the whole dining room.
Yeah. So similar to these decorations, every time somebody came on board. At least this used to be our tradition. We started it with her. We would do a little welcome sign and, like, a little gift or something and have her set up. And she took on that tradition. Right. For everybody. I don't think that they do it anymore, but they might for in office employees, because they can. Anyways, it was pretty cool. And we still have that picture. And we share the memory on Facebook. And we go. Our first employee. So. Wow, look at all this glitter. For those of you who are listening and not watching this on YouTube, you miss it. Like, you totally miss the bomb of stuff. That's gonna take us a little bit to clean up before we can now record everything else we're supposed to be recording today. But we are excited. You never know where you're gonna get when you first start, right? And it's been a journey. It's been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, tear filled nights, at least for me and you going, Danny, it's gonna be okay.
It's gonna be okay. We're just fine.
And five years later, we're almost 50 employees. I just looked channel the other day, I was like, whoa, we're close to 50. Like that's a benchmark too. I'm just moving all this stuff. Six companies and we have like, we still just have all these ideas. And even the podcast episodes that we're recording today are again, just more and more ideas of how we're growing and what we're doing and how we get to help other people by doing all of this stuff. So five years, like they say, what's the stat? I don't even know the stat. There's a certain percentage of businesses that fail within the first five years.
High percentage. Yeah, very high percentage in their first five years.
Gosh, incredibly grateful that we didn't land in that boat and we were able to continue. I think we might have landed in that boat if we didn't continue creating the companies and continuing to take control in our hands because we didn't trust the teams that we were partnering with. And so we brought it in house and said, hey, we trust us and we'll get it done no matter what, no matter hard it is. And that's where the sleepless nights came in. All that other stuff, it was like, whoa, we're building so fast. But at least it was us. And we can just drive as hard as we need to drive. I think that was a game changer for us.
But along the way, like, ever since we first started, I mean, I can name the first couple people that we walked houses through. You know, it's, it's. Well, it's about you. I'm pointing at the camera. For those of you just listening. You know, it's about our clients. It's, it's about our team members, which, you know, many are. We, you know, we call it the Freedom Family companies. Well, it's because it's our family. And so many of the people in this office are, you know, our family to us, you know, and if the people that live in the Philippines could be closer, they were, I mean, they're family to us as well. They're just long distance family. You know, it's. But it's just. And it's grown and grown and grown and we've gotten stronger and it's just, you know, so it's not only our clients, our friends, you know, the team members. And then masterminds came into masterminds a couple years ago, and that just kind of blew things, you know, blew the roof off of the building.
Yeah.
You know, and we got so many friends through the map. Masterminds. And it's just. Just every little thing is just added a brick to that great wall of China that I always talk about, you know, and it can be. Couldn't be more thankful. And we even have this up front here. This is one of our trophies because we give out awards at the end.
Of the year at the annual retreat.
Yep. And this is one of the awards that I won for being the most outstanding, awesomest person in the world.
He did not win that.
Okay. Okay. So that was an extra trophy that happened to be. Thanks, Danny. But yeah, we couldn't be here without you and we can't thank you enough for that. It's just to be here. It's still, you know, like. I can't believe it.
Yeah, it is surreal. So this episode is really to celebrate you guys.
That's right.
The family of companies in general. And that includes clients, team members, all the people who just helped us on this road. Our vendors, our contractors, the mastermind members, our friends, our family, every single person. And there's so, so many of you, we couldn't even possibly list it. But that was the most important piece of this episode, is not just say happy fifth anniversary, but to say thank you, we appreciate you and we're so very, very grateful that we got here where we are today.
That's right. So make sure you hit that like button.
Yes. If you like. All the people involved in the fragment family of companies, including yourself. Hit the like button.
Hit the like button.
Celebrate five with us.
That's right. That's right. And also make sure you're going over to Freedom Capital Investments, joining our investor club and all the other social medias and all that fun stuff. But we like to end all of our episodes with Invest Smart Live Happy. Bye, everybody.
Happy anniversary.
All right.
Happy anniversary.
Happy anniversary. That's like our happy birthday song. Thank you. Hey, everybody. Flip and Danny here, founders of the Freedom Real Estate Group family of companies. And welcome to another episode of our.
Podcast, which is called Freedom through Passive Income Celebration Edition.
That's right. The celebration edition. Because this episode is actually our fifth anniversary.
Yay.
Happy Anniversary.

The thing's supposed to pop you all.
