Hey, everybody. Flippin Danny here, founders of the Freedom Real Estate Group, family of companies. And welcome to another episode of our podcast, which is called Freedom through Passive Income. That's right. And welcome to another episode then. Now, this is part of our Mastermind series. Not Mastermind Theater. No, that's something different. But this is because we decided to do a series on all the masterminds that we've joined, because it really changed not only us personally, but our businesses many, many times over. And so. So this is the third one that we're talking about, and this one's going to be a little bit more in your wheelhouse than in my wheelhouse. And this one is called the Raise Masters.
That's right. So this is another mastermind that we are currently in right now. And when I say we, I mean me.
Hey, I hear you through the wall.
Anyways, it's Raise Masters is exactly kind of how it sounds. It's for capital raisers, people who are raising money for. And this group is very much surrounded by the alternative investment space. So ATMs, cryptocurrency, of course, multifamily self storage, assisted living, you know, all of the real estate stuff is automatically in there, but there's also some other alternative investments, and it's just a really fantastic group. And so the owner is Hunter Thompson. He is pretty amazing. I didn't know him until I bought his book. So we were focused on raising capital. And so I was like, okay, I always do the Darren Hardy, like, deep dive, right? And so you've got this. You want to learn something, you go buy, like, 10 things, whether it books or masterminds or whatever it is, you buy a whole bunch of stuff and you just go deep. And so that's what I was doing. And it was his book that drew me in first. And then I learned about. I think there was a webinar that he put on that talked about the Mastermind group. And then ultimately I got on the phone with Adam, and then I ended up joining because these are the things that are game changers. It's really why we're talking about this series right now. We thought, hey, you know, if we want to talk about freedom through passive income and how we got where we are today, Masterminds is a big, big part of that. And we should talk about the people that we trust and that we found and that we loved and the impact that they've had on our business, and some of them personally, too. So Hunter's really, really fantastic. The dude is so freaking smart. You know, he's also very witty. Him and Adam together are just like a. Like a power team. Like, they really are just amazing. And I just did a recording with them about we were raising for Serena Gordon the apartments, and we raised I think 1.3 million in 26 hours. And they're like, what? Let's do a recording. And so we just did a quick talk about that. And what I shared on that video with them was truly the raise master impact in my life. Wasn't even necessarily that, although it was super cool. And I shared was the network that they bring to the table. There are some powerhouses in this freaking group like that have made, I think big already, or I think I think big. Maybe that's what I should be saying. I think I think big until I meet other people and they raise the bar for me. And this group has really, really done that. And it's why we're building $100 million fund between this and Stephen, which we're gonna talk about on a future podcast. It's those people that we said, hey, let's. This is the way we want to go. This is better, this is smarter. This is going to help us and help our investors more. So it's really that network that we're also buying into, not even necessarily the modules, because certainly I've gone through the modules and this one, if you're going to join a group like this, there's a ton of modules and I swear, you ask a question in their Slack group and they go module four, module eight, module seven. And they don't want to reiterate everything. They just spent the time actually telling you exactly what to do. So it's really, really fantast. Hunter always also hosts the Intelligent Investors Real Estate Conference that happens once a year. And I've heard that it's amazing we didn't go this past year because I think we were in seven masterminds. We really blew it up this past year because we were going into multifamily. It was a new thing and we had to just surround ourselves with as many people as we possibly could to have the confidence that we had the resources needed. Anytime we hit a brick wall, we had somebody. So we spent a lot of time doing so. Hunter's really great on economics, predicting market shifts. He's invited on shows all the time to do stuff like that. And I really love being surrounded by that type of person because it's not our strength. And in fact, they have this Slack channel, so a lot of masterminds are going to Have FB groups. Raise masters doesn't have an FB group. I think they do have like a free something, but really you're going to take part in the Slack group and it's got different channels. One of them is an economics channel. And I go in there all the time to see what the smart people are talking about so I can learn and just get better educated. And truly, through these masterminds, I am becoming. I told him, I said, I'm not a politics type person. I'm not somebody who studies the economy, but I'm starting to. It's weird because I'm surrounding myself with all these people that I'm really learning and kind of attaching myself to. Hey, this is really neat and important to know. And even though I relied on other people always for that information, hey, I can start understanding this a little bit better too, so that I can interpret it so as to what I'm seeing in our own local marketplace. So it's been really exciting. Like I said, he's got a book, he's on podcasts. The network was the big thing. They make you think bigger. In fact, yesterday Bill Allen was just on a call. So if you're listening to the whole series, Bill Allen is the owner of Seven Figure Flipping. He's the very first mastermind we ever went into and probably the group of masterminds that has made the most impact to us because it was our first entry point into that world and that world was very, very positive for us and then caused us to now grow even bigger and start being a part of all of this stuff. So there's just lots of really, really neat things. We are going to put a link in the comments that you can join if you're interested in this type of group. Again, it's for capital raisers. That's really the true purpose of that group is do you want to raise money? And if you do, then surround yourself with other people that are raising a lot of freaking money and they're building funds or they're doing SYND or, you know, all kinds of stuff. So it's really cool. The cost is around $15,000. Depending on when you're listening to this. It might have gone up, but right now it's $15,000. That includes you and your partner. Couldn't say enough great things about that group. And I'm sorry you didn't get to talk much on this podcast.
No, no. Like I said, this is your wheelhouse and I knew that. Yeah. Yes. This is a great episode. Danny, go and Go. One thing I did want to touch on, though, is accountability groups. A lot of these masterminds do have account groups. Some don't. This one, I believe, does.
Yes. Yeah. In fact, today I'm on a call at noon, and yesterday I was actually on a call that I was invited by somebody in Raise Masters to come to a different call. So there's a couple calls a week that I'm on as a result of this group. So again, it's that network piece. Right. And it's really great to just get on there and, you know, have people yell at you if you're not doing what you're supposed to be doing or what you committed to doing. Right, yeah.
So it's like little mini groups inside of the big group and. Yeah, that's very cool.
Yeah, Very, very cool.
