Hey, everybody. Flip and Danny here, founders of the Freedom Real Estate Group family of companies. And welcome to another episode of our.
Podcast called Freedom through Passive Income.
And today is one of our live episodes. And we're on location. No, we're literally on location.
We are.
Yeah. Just the location's different than the last time we were on location.
Yes. If you're listening on the podcast, you can hear the beautiful sounds of the.
Waves behind us, of the humming of the pool equipment. I think that's what I hear. Oh, no, there's a wave.
Let me describe it for you. We are in our suite. We've got the doors wide open. We've got the ocean and the pools behind us because for those of you watching on video, we actually wanted to share with you where we are.
And I'll be honest, before anyone starts commenting, hey, that's not an ocean. It is the Gulf of Mexico. So I don't want anyone being all crazy and all particular, but technically the ocean goes into the Gulf, so she's partially right.
I screw things up all the time.
But, yes, we are here on vacation. This is a location that we've been to many times because it's one of our favorites because we know it so well. We know that when we get here, we know what to expect and we know where everything's at. So it's nothing but relaxation.
Yes, exactly. So what's our update this week, Flip?
We're on vacation. I have no idea. Is anything happening?
So that's kind of what we wanted to touch on real quick because we were like, what are we going to talk about? Because last Thursday was our live update. We were just getting home from our mastermind in Salt Lake City. And then we had one day to do some catch up and then we packed and then we left for Cancun. And so we've been working as little as possible. We jump on our computer maybe once a morning and do quick little answer questions, do whatever we need to. And then we go golf, spa, eat, pool, pool. So, yeah, pool, pool. We've been in the pool every single day.
Yes, we have.
You're a little red.
I am.
I'm a little red.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's required. But it's nice, right? So this is also our anniversary. How many years?
18.
18 years. But we got married on leap year.
So this is four and a half.
So four and a half. So we always do kind of both. We calculate how many actual years it' but the fun part is that we got married on February 29, 2004. Right. And we were just talking about the fact that we bought this package at this resort right before 2003.
Yeah, right before we got married.
Yeah. So. And yesterday, Flip went to legal and was just checking through all of our paperwork to see how many weeks we had left. And I posted on Facebook last night, and it was 447 weeks.
Yeah. You know what? In the middle of night, I got up and I realized,447 weeks. I'm just gonna move in. I'm just gonna move here. I'm just gonna stay here.
It's super, super crazy, but I'm so grateful that we got this package. It was what we didn't know way back then in 2003 that this is probably the best decisions we've ever made.
Yes.
It's just that we didn't use it quick enough. Right. We only live life once. We talk about that all the time. We're not promised tomorrow. And yet it took us a long time to start using this package, even though we bought it back in 2003. And that's part of, you know, why we have this podcast and why we're sharing all of this information is to maybe just bring awareness that, you know, take some time and smell the roses, which I'm really not good at. But I'm trying so hard to get better. I'm even reading a book this week called Rest.
That's right. Thank goodness. And thank you to Jeff for suggesting this book to her.
Yes, thank you. Thank you.
Thank you, Jeff. Yes. But anyway, so this is what it's all about. Freedom through passive income. This is to be able to make that money and to be here not working, you know, or wherever your here is, and to be making that money while you're doing nothing and you're at the spa getting a massage. That's complimentary.
Exactly. Right. So, yeah, I think that's it for the updates. That is all we have this week for the updates.
Well, we hope to see you next week for our live updates when we actually have updates.
Yes.
