Questions this video answers
Over 7,500 downloads/views.
Week 14 ("Catorce").
Hey, everybody. Flip and Danny here, founders of the Freedom Real Estate Group family of companies, and welcome to another episode of our.
Podcast, which is called Freedom through Passive Income. It's early.
It is early. Yes, you are correct. This episode, this is one of our live episodes. And this is week 14, which is Catorce.
Oh, my goodness. Are you practicing Spanish before you come.
In here to record? No, I'm pulling it out of my. You know what? So I'm probably 99% wrong on that one. But anyway, this is week 14 live, and this is just a kind of an update. Our weekly update.
Yep.
So I'm gonna start with the downloads and views. It's gotten over 7,500, which is awesome.
Yeah, it's amazing.
It can't. I just keep watching it climb and climb and climb. So thank you, mom, for downloading 100 times a day.
You know that joke is old.
I know, but she's still doing it. So thank you for watching and thank you for downloading. We hope that you're enjoying and getting something out of this, out of these podcasts.
Yes, thank you very much. And another thing that we did this week, we made some big moves on that 48 unit that we keep talking about week to week. So if you are following these live episodes, you're kind of seeing how long it takes from the point of finding a deal to. To doing due diligence, to actually submitting an loi, to furthering the due diligence, to getting the PSA signed, which is the purchase and sale agreement, to getting everything to title, to going through your first 30 days in the whole. Which earnest money is going hard at which time, and then we are past the due diligence period, which we talked about on last week's progress update. We have now chose the loan. We finalized our investor returns. We send all the information to the attorney so he can create all the legal documents. Hopefully it's being done and ready tomorrow. Friday. Let's see. And flip right now. Is drafting the OM still the offering?
Yeah, I think we talked about that last week.
We sort of like, you know, had to finish all this other stuff to actually give you the last step.
That's true. There are pages on the. That I can't do until everything else is done, so.
That's right.
Yeah, I'm waiting.
Yes. And last week we talked about some hiring that we were trying to do, and so I actually took the next steps to start screening candidates for our asset management role. So that's super exciting as well.
Yeah. Another thing, another thing. Super exciting, because she doesn't sit still for anything. And so a couple years ago, we didn't even talk about doing multifamily, and now we're in multifamily. Now we're doing a thousand doors. Then the talk about, you know, maybe we should do storage units. So we're walking a storage unit today in typical Danny fashion. And it's local, it's close by, so that makes it even easier. And so it's not one of those huge, gigantic storage units. So this might be a good one for us to start with. I do like the size of it.
Yes.
So that's gonna be going on. And so we'll give you. I'm sure we'll update you next week on how that went.
Yes. Super, super excited. Thank you to you know who for bringing us the deal.
Yes, that's right. Yeah. Yeah. And also quarterly meetings. This is something that normally isn't brought up on our updates because, well, they just happen now, and we don't really do about it. In fact, last quarterly meeting, we didn't even go. And the two before that, we went and just sat there and just listened.
It was so wonderful.
Oh, yeah. We didn't have to prepare a thing. We just sat there, listened, drank coffee while I drink coffee.
But a little bit happy about having a CEO.
Yeah. But this one, we actually get to do things. And we're actually prepping because Freedom Capital Investments is the newest company. It's the baby of the family. And pretty much everyone else in this gigantic office has no idea what we're doing. So that's what we're gonna be doing during the quarterly meetings this week, is explaining to everyone, hey, you know, we're not just sitting in our office all day. Okay. Well, I am. I was about to say, Aw, you.
Have that big old couch in your office.
Come on. Come on. I take naps. I don't just sit around. So anyway, so that's exciting because we actually get to talk to people about what we're doing in fci.
Cool. That's it. That's all we have for this week.
That's it.
Oh, my gosh.
That is it.
Yeah, I made sure.
Yeah. Well, thank you. Make sure you're heading over to our website, freedomcapitalinvestments.com and join the investor club, because again, there's going to be things that are there that are not in the groups on Facebook and LinkedIn. So make sure you're heading over and joining the investor club because there's always things being updated and added.
That's right. Yeah. And I forgot one thing. One more update. Tina, our coo, is in town this week.
She's here this week?
Yeah. We should have had her come in live and just go, hi. She is.
Have her do that tomorrow.
She lives in Georgia. And so she came into town for the quarterly meetings, and she actually helps us with these podcast episodes because she reviews them, helps us with some recap and takeaways and some of the content or the descriptions that are used on YouTube and everything. So she's always just like, wow, I kind of know what you guys are going. What's going on with you guys? Because she's watching all these videos, and so I just wanted to say hi, Tina, when you watch this one, I'll.
Say hi to her in a couple minutes. We might have a guest star. So, anyway, back to social media. Make sure you join our groups, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube. Make sure you're subscribing and giving us reviews, comments, questions, recommendations, whatever it may be. But we always like to end all of our episodes with Invest, Smart, Live, Happy.
