A short YouTube segment offering beginner-focused real-estate advice: emphasize having someone with buying experience visit properties in person, use a checklist when viewing a property, and consider bringing a professional inspector if you lack expertise. The speaker stresses local/neighborhood knowledge and practical steps buyers can take when assessing properties.
Even if you had boots on the ground, boots just for the sake of boots, wouldn't have known that. Right. You would need somebody who actually had a little bit of a background in buying properties to intelligently say, let me give you some insight about this particular area and this neighborhood. So it's really important that you have somebody go and see the property in person. And it's even better if that person has experience in real estate and knows the things that you're going to look for. If they don't, then giving them a checklist of things. And this is one of the things to write down on your list. Right. And then. So that checklist, if you're going to see a property in person and you don't have a checklist, another idea would be to bring an inspector with you.
