A short YouTube transcript of a conversation where Kris asks about real estate investment options. The advisor asks about Kris's desired activity level and recommends passive strategies suited to someone with a full-time job: hiring a third-party or in-house property management for rental properties, or investing passively via an apartment-complex partnership/syndication run by the company. The advisor invites Kris to take a roughly 10-question quiz (link in bio) to identify the best investor strategy.
So Kris, I've got some money that I kind of want to invest. I'm not sure what to do. I've got some funds in a 401k and in an IRA and I also have some money in the stock market and I'm just not really happy with any of the performance there. What could I do as far as like real estate investing?
Yeah, absolutely. So there are lots of things you can do. So let me ask you a few questions. How active do you want to be in your investments?
So I've got a full time job, so I really don't want to, I don't want to deal with tenants and toilets. So I just kind of want to put my money somewhere and then make a return on it.
Yeah, I completely understand wanting to be a little bit more passive in your investment. Let me ask you this. Would you feel comfortable if a property management company was handling your asset for you and all you'd have to do maybe is respond to repair requests or authorization for any maintenance or anything like that?
I would love that idea because I'm at work all the time. So I. If somebody sends me like an email or a text message and I can respond quickly, I would much rather do that.
So it sounds like a rental property may be a good option for you. You can hire a third party management company. Luckily for you, our company actually provides in house management so you wouldn't have to necessarily worry about the ins and outs days, the days we would take care of that for you. Another option is a more passive investment where you would just park your money somewhere like let's say an apartment complex where several other investors are also in on that transaction with you and will effectively just mail you money.
Oh, okay. So would I be partnering with people? How does that.
There would be some sort of agreement in place, but it would be with our company.
Okay, I love that idea. I think I might want to do that.
Awesome. Well, it sounds like there's lots of different options that we may be able to help you with.
Yeah, that sounds great. If I wanted to get started, what would I do next?
So we've developed a quiz about 10 questions long. It helps identify the best strategy for you to use as an investor. You would just click the link our bio and fill it out and we'll be in touch.
