Flip and Danny from Freedom Real Estate Group break down how the real estate market shifted over the last decade. They cover homeownership rates, new construction, millennial buying patterns, and local Dayton stats alongside national price changes.
Hey, everybody. Flip and Danny here, founders of the Freedom Real Estate Group family of companies. And welcome to another episode of our vlog.
Yeah, this is episode number 78.
Oh, my gosh. I think the last time we did a vlog, it was like, episode 14.
I think we did one, like, maybe 20 ago. I don't remember.
No idea. And right now, I know this looks different. If you've been watching other vlogs, we're on our live set for our other podcast, which is called Freedom to Passive Income. So this is where we record daily podcasts right here. And so we just figured we'd do another one right here.
Yeah.
But this one is called how has the Real Estate Market Changed in the last Decade?
Yeah. And so there's just a quick summary to give you a sneak peek as to what we're going to be talking about in our podcast. Over the last 10. I'm going to say 10 plus years, but really the last decade, there's been an abundance of foreclosures, cautious buyers, and hesitant lenders. Everybody knows why, but we'll share more in the podcast.
Yeah, that's like wash, rinse, repeat.
Yep. And then to now, we've got soaring prices, low inventory, and fierce competition. So we're gonna go dive in deep over eight topics.
Yep.
We've got a podcast.
Eight different topics that we're gonna talk about. One of them is we're gonna discuss some homeownership stats.
Yep. Another one is new construction.
And then another one is millennials. And I'll be nice.
He won't. The fourth one will be location.
Then we're going to talk about renters, which is actually surprising.
Yep. And the sixth topic is going to be equity. 6th.
And then we're going to talk about some local Here in Dayton, Ohio, Dayton and Montgomery County. Stats that are pretty impressive.
And lastly, we're going to talk about national sales prices.
Yeah, it's very interesting. When we went through all the stats, and it was, you know, because you don't think about it. Wow. Lots changed the last 10 years. But until you actually get all the stats, you're like, holy smokes.
Yes. Yeah, it's pretty cool. Pretty exciting. So we hope that you join us for the podcast. We'll still be in this room, so enjoy the scenery.
I might be wearing the same shirt, too.
Me too.
But we like to end all of these, no matter what it is with, and invest smart, live happy. Bye, everybody.
