How to Succeed as a Serial Entrepreneur

A short spoken discussion aimed at aspiring serial entrepreneurs that emphasizes mindset (never quitting; embracing failure), three core practices (become passionately obsessed with your work; gain a clear, narrow vision of who you serve; apply the 80/20 rule to focus on the activities that move the needle), and a closing invitation to seek help from the speakers.
How to succeed as a serial entrepreneur. Well, I want to say. And I'll go first. Thank you very much. I could probably tell you where I was when I read the story Three Feet From Gold. It was originally in the book Think and Grow Rich. They've now made it into its own book, into a movie. It was a very, very important story. And that leads into the other reasons of what I do. To succeed as a serial entrepreneur is never giving up. In that story, that Three Feet From Gold was a person that just. That did give up, and he was three feet from gold. And so we've always. I've always. I know that I have always taken that in, and I will not quit and never quit. And with that also goes embracing failure. Edison had 99 ways that he tried to make a light bulb, and none of them worked. And somebody said, you failed 99 times. I found 99 ways not to make a light bulb. So it's mindset and just embracing failure.
Yeah, I love the mindset piece. Those are very, very powerful for me. The three things that I chose start with being passionate and obsessed. Absolutely 100% obsessed about what you're doing. If you wake up thinking about what you're doing and the passion you have to go after some particular thing no matter what it is, then nothing can stop you at that point in time. You're literally just. You're living and breathing it all the time. And I think that that's why we succeed together as serial entrepreneurs, because we're constantly talking about it. I think that has to be, number one. If you're not obsessed, don't even do it. I think, number two, there has to be clarity with that, because you could have this entire big picture of what you're thinking about doing. But if you don't understand the exact tunnel that you want to go down, you may have to go down a few paths to figure that out. But you, in the end, need that very clear vision of what you want to do and who you want to serve. And then the third thing that I wanted to mention was the 8020 rule. I think we hear that a lot. But as a serial entrepreneur, your brain is already looking at every opportunity going, I can make a business out of that. I can make a business out of that. We literally were just sitting down talking about our doggy daycare, saying, we can make a franchise out of that. It's the way our minds work, right? So you gotta figure out how to really, really focus and say, hey, what am I working on right now? And. And if you apply that to the business, you can say, what are the things that are moving the needle so that I can just focus on the 20% that's creating 80% of the results. And if you can do that and do that well, you're gonna wildly succeed. So this is just from serial entrepreneur to serial entrepreneur. We hope that helps. Give yourself clarity of vision and go get them. And if we can help in any way, then reach out to.
