Risk is defined as the uncertainty regarding loss. I'm in this exact same boat. I used to think that going into real estate or starting down this path is risky, but I have control here. I make more money compared to where I just say, here's a check, there's a board of directors somewhere who does something. They're never going to call me and say, hey, Mr. Shah, this is what we're looking at doing right now. How you think that's going to go for you? It's just so backwards. I'm like, that's the risky thing. I have no control. No one will ever ask me, you know, I'm never going to have 10 million shares of Apple or whatever it is. So it's actually completely backwards that if you want something that's lower risk, you need to take control of it. You need to look at things that say, oh, well, yeah, you're not going to lose 20% on this randomly. Maybe tomorrow.
