A short motivational monologue urging listeners to "play the money game"—i.e., actively manage and pursue financial success because money is necessary for basic survival. The speaker warns that without dedication to "winning" financially people may remain paycheck-to-paycheck, and cites current economic pressures (inflation, interest rates) and an anecdote about high grocery costs to illustrate the point.
You have to play in the money game. You can't opt out. You need money to survive. You've got to pay rent. You've got to feed yourself. Unless you've got somebody in your life that's providing for you with all of that, you've got to be able to get in the game. And once you're in the game, you need to figure out the way to win. Because without winning and being dedicated to the pursuit of winning, you end up struggling and suffering your whole entire life because you're going paycheck to paycheck, or you're trying to figure out how you're going to be able to afford something that came up. And right now, with rising interest rates and inflation, and I know interest rates are going down as of the recording that we're having right now, but just the environment that we're in. I think my brother posted on Facebook that he spent $90 on groceries. And it was like, he listed, like, five things. Right? It's a big deal. And for those people who are not focused on winning the game of money, they're seeing this hurt their bottom line, right?
