Danny and others debunk the myth that real estate investing requires wealth. Real estate funds and syndications let you invest with less capital than buying a single property, offer tangible asset backing, and protect against inflation better than savings accounts or CDs.
Danny and I were at a networking event and a younger gentleman came up and said, man, I always thought that investing in real estate you had to be either rich or wealthy.
That's right. And so that's one of the myths of investing in real estate. So we wanted to talk quickly about the different types of investments that you're probably more familiar with. The first one, stocks and crypto. The second familiar investment to many people are going to be CDs, bonds, savings accounts. And right now, you, in our inflationary environment, you're actually losing money with those investments. The third one is single family or maybe even short term rentals. With those, you have lack of diversifications. You have a higher level of risk if that one investment tumbles. Lastly, our favorite is funds and syndications. We like these because of the diversification and the certainty and reliability of being backed by a tangible asset and getting a fixed rate of return. You want to avoid the emotional rollercoaster of all of these different types of investments because real estate is for everybody.
