So this video isn't meant to flex. It's actually a story about flipping. My dream of owning a Corvette.

We've been in love with classic cars for a really long time, and we've worked so hard our entire life that one day, Flip's gonna tell you the story of how we finally were able to get our dream car.
Yeah. So it was actually amazing, like, one of the first times we met that you told me how much you like Corvettes and how you always wanted a Corvette. And that was years, decades before, before this story happened. Danny and I were married, actually on leap year. And so every four years, on the actual leap year, we'd like to do something special. We either go somewhere special, or we do something special. And this was February of 2020. Unbeknownst to us, the next month that the whole nation was going to shut down, but we decided to go out. And I said, hey, what? Why don't we stop over to that one dealership, see if they've got any Corvettes? And it was just random. I had no idea. And we went to the dealership, and they had, I think it was nine corvettes inside of the showroom. And we walked in, and. And you were very patient with me, because I walked and I looked at these nine Corvettes for about two hours. And I looked at every little thing. I looked at the rims. I looked at the, you know, everything. And after two hours, I finally said, all right, let's go. And we walked out and we left. Went out to eat. I think I don't even know what we did that night. But then the next morning, I woke up, and I just. I couldn't get it out. I couldn't keep it in. And I looked at her, I said, boy, that gray one was really nice. And she says to me, I can't believe you didn't buy it. I was on the phone within minutes with the dealership. And so then there we have it. And so that's how this one found its new home. And we absolutely love it. And so the very next month, of course, Covid hit, and the pandemic hit, and, you know, everyone's on lockdown. But if you were in southwest Ohio, you would have saw a gray Corvette driving the streets every single day, because you couldn't keep me from not going out and driving the car around, which I pretty much did every day.
Yeah. And I think still to this day, we walk into the garage, and we're a little bit in awe that we even have this car, because we just we worked so hard for it for so long, and once we finally got it, I think you call it your 50th birthday present or something like that.
Yeah. Oh, that's right. I also turned 50 in that year, and I found out that it's the rule when you turn 50, you have to buy a Corvette.
So that's his joke.
