Speakers describe their experience as serial entrepreneurs who have founded multiple companies (six in under six years) and scaled a team and real-estate portfolio. They report over 50 team members, $20M under management, ownership in 600+ units, and 1,200+ deals. The narrative emphasizes the excitement of creating new companies and explains why they brought property management in-house after repeated problems with outsourced vendors to better serve investors.
If there's one thing that I know is true, this one. My wife would create a new company every year. In fact, in less than six years, we've created six companies. And I believe she's working on the seventh.
I am, and I'm super excited about it. We also have over 50 team members. We have over $20 million under management. We have ownership in over 600 units. We have done over 1200 deals. I believe that's an actual higher number. We stopped counting, and I said, just be safe with 1200. But I want to talk about the life of a serial entrepreneur and why it might be appealing to do something like this. Part of it, for sure, is the excitement of it, and it is very exciting for me to say, hey, let's build another company. It is chaotic, but for some reason, I thrive in chaos. But the bigger piece of the puzzle is really how much it serves us and our investors. Because when we got started, we started with Freedom Real Estate Group, and we outsourced renovations and property management. And as we outsource those things, that there were problems. And in order to solve those problems, we had to go to a third party to try and fix them. When we didn't have control, that meant our investors were out if the other third party wasn't going to fix them. And for property management, we literally went through five different companies before. We said we didn't want to start this company right away, but we're going to bring it in house.
