A personal monologue (YouTube video) about frequent visits to Disney parks (about two to three times a month). The speaker praises Walt Disney's attention to detail (hidden Mickeys, costumes, imagineering), values the parks' energetic and restorative atmosphere, and explains that visiting inspires and rejuvenates them as a business owner, giving them new ideas and renewed motivation.
We go to Disney about two to three times a month. This is why we love it. It's really the energy of the space. We love walking around Disney. We don't have to do anything else. Looking at the people that are around there, just looking at them smile, looking at them enjoy themselves, looking at what Walt Disney created, literally. We were just in the parks yesterday, and we were talking about the fact that I want to watch the movies of how he actually built this from the ground up. All the attention to detail, the excellence that what they wear, the hidden Mickey. There's just so much that goes on, and he thought of every single detail. And I'm sure he's got an amazing team. We've watched imagineering videos, and we just love the energy of it. And when you're a business owner, reality is you go through some tough times, you have some tough days. I mean, anybody has those, right? And so whenever we're having those kinds of days, it's just really refreshing and rejuvenating to run to the parks and just breathe and just enjoy the peace and the inspiration and then come back going, hey, we've got lots of tons of ideas, and we're super excited and ready to hit the road again.
