A motivational talk on overcoming fear and taking risks to succeed. The speaker covers getting a Realtor's license, investing, and finding mentors as concrete steps toward winning in real estate and life.
You can't win if you don't start, and you can't lose if you don't quit. That's right. So you don't know what you don't know. So what this example is saying is the dumber person is going to understand they don't know what they don't know, and they're going to go, well, there's as much risk of me just sitting here doing nothing as there is of me taking a step towards the direction that I want to go and starting to learn. I don't know what I don't know. So let's go get a Realtor's license. Let's start to learn real estate and see where it takes us. And then, oh, she invests, huh? Let's go get a coach. We don't have, like, all the money to do it. Let's team up with five people and do it. We didn't know what we didn't know. We just did it. And we asked the mentor, can we do this? There's five of us, and this is the only way we're going to be able to afford it. And he said, yes, so. And that gave us accountability. And so everything that we've done, we walked in not knowing anything, but we're willing to go after it, ask the right questions, and get to a comfort level where we would take a bigger risk.
