This YouTube video, created and uploaded by Danielle Robison on December 29, 2023, is a short motivational monologue about the relentless nature of business and success. The speaker warns that success requires continuous effort and resilience — you cannot relax after reaching a goal (metaphor: climbing Everest) because competition and challenges persist.
It's every single day of getting the shit kicked out of you. All day, every day. And it's not just the market. It's not just the people that you're trying to get business from. It's not your clients, it's not your co workers, it's your company sometimes. And it's the fact that everybody else out there starts to know your name. They're trying to take your business from you. It is brutal out there. And so if a person thinks that it's easy to achieve, and then you just put your feet up and put your feet back and say, I can relax. You can't. Just like anybody climbing Everest, you get to the top of Everest, you don't just sit down and relax and crack open a beer. That bitch will kill you. You get the hel down and go to the next goal.
