Welcoming a new face to our Freedom Vlogs! | REI | EP. 71

A short YouTube vlog (Freedom Real Estate, Ep. 71) in which host Chris Sonnino welcomes Erica Marcolini, a new maintenance coordinator at Independence Property Management. They discuss Erica's background (first year with the company, recently married), her role and contributions to recent maintenance projects, a light personal anecdote illustrating her energetic personality (her "superpower"), and mention upcoming podcast content; the video ends with the brand sign-off and a legal disclaimer.
Foreign. Hey, everybody, this is Chris Sonnino with Independent or Independence Property Management and the Freedom Real Estate family of companies. We're here for another episode of our vlog. Vlog number 71. Yeah, 71.
That's a lot.
That's a lot. I'm here today with Erica Marcolini, and I promised her I did a little. Marcolini, my favorite. My fellow Italian friend. She works with me in Independence Property Management as a maintenance coordinator. Erica, tell me a little about yourself.
Yeah, my name is Erica Marcolini. I just recently got married. Well, like seven months ago now. Yeah. Really making good strides. So, yeah, it's been going really well. This is my first year with the company, the Freedom Real Estate Group company and IPM as well. So just really enjoying learning everything. And I have really enjoyed the maintenance role.
Yeah, she's been instrumental. You've heard us on previous podcasts talk about, like, a couple of the big projects we had going on in 2021, and you were pivotal, and you and your team have been very helpful with getting our maintenance tightened up and then managing a lot of those expectations with our owners through that process. So I really appreciate you coming on today. We have some big things to talk about, but I want to get a little bit more from you. One of the questions that we were. We were going to ask to bring up or was, what's your superpower?
My superpower. Probably being really excited all the time. That would be my superpower. I think I can make anyone excited about anything, really.
Maybe we'll detest that theory.
Can I tell a quick story?
Absolutely.
So one time I was walking in the hallway and one of our co workers, Jason, was walking in the hallway as well. We were both going to our offices, and I was like, jason, how are you doing? I was really excited for no reason. And he was like, I have a headache. And I was like, me, too. There was no reason to be excited about it, but we. I was so excited. We were both having a headache.
Sharing in the headache. Okay. It's hilarious.
It's my superpower.
I didn't know that. That's really funny.
It just happened, like, a week or two ago.
Oh, that's great. Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, that kind of plays into your role too. So there's probably some tone matching that'll have to happen there. I mean. Yeah, my ceiling's falling out. Mine too. Yeah. No, maybe not that. Maybe not the best way to approach that.
Yeah.
Yeah. Awesome. So it was kind of funny when I had asked you that question when we were talking before. You were like, my superpower is finding solutions. And I was like, no, let's have fun with this. Yeah, that is a great asset that you bring to the company. I was like, yeah, let's make this fun. Right? So I really appreciate you bringing that on.
Yeah.
We're gonna be recording a podcast soon about dealing with difficult residents. It's a little bit of a love hate relationship with that topic sometimes, but look forward to seeing you on that here shortly. Anything else you want to say to our wonderful fans that are watching?
Thanks for watching.
So so I like to end these things by saying invest smart and live happy. Thank you.
Bye.
