A short podcast-style vlog episode (hosts Erica and Mark) introducing and defining seller financing as a creative acquisition technique in real estate. The hosts explain that seller financing lets buyers bridge gaps (example: a seller asking $80,000) by structuring non-traditional payment arrangements; episode ends with a tagline and legal disclaimer.
This is Erica, this is mark, this is blog 87. And in our podcast, we're going to be talking about what is seller financing.
Sure, no worries. So seller financing, as we were talking, talking about a little bit earlier, we'll get into more specifics, some examples, things like that when we get into the podcast. But it's a term, you know, when you're more like on the acquisition side of real estate. So it's not traditional real estate or something like that, but creative financing gives you a way of maybe purchasing the property and offering more money to somebody. Like, say, for example, somebody wants $80,000 for their house. And you know that by the time you're done with your rehab and some of your numbers, that that, that's gonna be a little tight for you. And so that's when you start thinking, well, what can I do to get closer to that $80,000 number for them? And that's what creative financing is.
Nice.
Trying to work out a way to, to get the most amount of money for that seller.
That's great. Well, if you want to buy retail or buy an investment property, you can make it happen with the seller financing.
Yeah, absolutely.
That's awesome. Well, we'll have to talk more about it in the podcast. So we like to end these with Invest Smart, Live Happy.
We'll see you in the vlog.
Thanks.
