In this instructional video, the presenter walks through the new Indicators feature in the Mobi trading platform. The demo shows how users can add an unlimited number of exponential (EMA) and simple (SMA) moving averages, customize each indicator’s period, line color, style, and width, and apply them across selected timeframes (intraday, daily, weekly, monthly). The workflow includes saving, editing, and updating indicators, as well as enabling, disabling, or hiding them individually. The presenter also demonstrates adding a VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price) indicator with similar styling options and explains the upcoming anchored VWAP feature, which allows users to set a specific anchor date for VWAP calculations—useful for marking market-structure changes. Throughout, the speaker emphasizes flexibility and practical use cases for traders who rely on multiple moving averages and VWAP analyses.

A new feature in Mobi is indicators. So we had— did have the 4 and the 8 EMA, and that's where we started with our development. What we have now is we have this indicators button here where you can add an infinite number of moving averages. So there's exponential and simple moving averages. So we do have some traders that have 10 or 15 or 17 moving averages on some of their charts. And so the idea here is that you can add whatever you like. So let's go ahead and add an indicator. And so I'm going to use a 4 exponential moving average. And now I have the intervals that I want to apply them on. If I choose intraday, that's everything less than the daily charts, the 1-minute, 5, 15, 30, 1-hour. Uh, and then you can choose individual ones if you like. Like that, you have one week or one month. So I'm going to put this on all because that's how I do it with my chart. My line color, mine are always red for my four exponential moving average, and then I can do a a solid line, dotted dash dot with space, or dashed with space there, and then I can save the indicator. Now my red line here. Is on the chart. If I think that this line needs adjustment, something like that, I'll come back, I can edit it, and then I'm going to reduce this line to a 2 and choose update because it was a little too thick. So I want to add a new indicator, so I'm going to put this one up to the 8 EMA, and this will be all— this one is usually blue for me on mine, so I will make it More blue. That'll be two. That's also a solid line. So there's the four and the eight there. You get the idea. If you want, some people do the the twenty-one exponential or say the fifty simple. The fifty simple moving average. This will be on all charts, and this one that I have on mine also is a very dark blue. We'll do this one like that. That'll be a 2. And say, let's make this one a, um, a dashed with a space. I'll choose save, and then you have that there. Okay, so we, we do see those together on this, and this is a 5-minute chart. Now you also have them showing up here rather than, rather than on the price scale. They're up at top, so they're in the order that they were added. We've got this 4 EMA and it's 564.42, the 8 EMA and the 50. So that's, that's what they are there. If we look back at our indicators, I can enable them or disable them, right? Or you can turn them on or off individually like that. The other option here is you have these up here. Some people who know all of what their colors are, then you can actually click this little X The top, and it says hide EMA SMA. We'll click that, and it goes away. Now we have an eyeball, and if we poke it in the eye, they come back. The next indicator that we have here is a VWAP. This is just the straight volume weighted average price. You can choose a line color and a width, same sort of styling, and we could put them on all time frames if we like, like this, and then I'll choose apply. And then you can see the VWAP that's there. Now, the— there's another one that's being added which should be out in the next day or two. It's called an anchored VWAP. That's usually on the daily chart, and it's a longer period time frame. So what you wind up doing is you set your anchor date, and the one of the most recent ones is March 25th, 2022. Usually that happens around some cyclical pattern like either there's a war or rate cuts or something that changes the market structure, you can add— you can update when you want the VWAP actually to be calculated. A lot of institutions use that number and it's actually quite strong, so that one will be coming out as well. The VWAP is showing up here on the price line as well. So there you have it for the new indicators.
