$QQQ $31B Shelf vs $INTC $1.7B Overhead: Which Level Breaks First?

Dave Barnhart maps intraday trades for QQQ and Intel using recent large block prints and ATR levels. QQQ shows a bullish zone above $722.50 with targets to $731.24, while Intel turns bullish above $100.50 targeting $101-$103. Both setups hinge on whether price breaks through key moving average clusters.

Good morning, traders. It's Tuesday, August 18th at 4:48 AM. I've got two stocks for you today. We've got QQQ and we've got Intel. So the market's pulling back slightly. We can see that. So let's go ahead and have a look. Largest prints the last 20 days. This is kind of or last 30 days. Kind of standard. There was this 10 million here at the bottom. We can see that where everybody's fearful. We had that. We had these prints come in and you notice that this did not line up with the. With the candle, but these were late prints that came in on the following day, and so they're way down here. And we gapped up and moved to come up to recent highs. We're rolling over a little bit, testing the eight exponential moving average. We have a 2.4 million share print from August 11th. We're about to test that. So let's map this out intraday and see where we go. The ATR in this bad boy is $12 at the moment. It's come down a little bit, so we're going to be bullish above 722.50. Let's get above this range. Right here, target 724.56, 725, 725.93 is S2. We got 726.95, 727.90, and then we've got, uh, 730, 731.24 is the pivot. So just be careful. I skipped instead of calling out each and every one of these. It's just a little bit tight. Mind these, these are like 50-cent levels for Pretty much, and then we've got the post market here. And then when we got up here, that's my 200 exponential, 200 simple, and three pivots. So coming up this this high will be pretty big on the resistance. On the downside, we're going to be bearish below 720.50. We've got a 2.4 million share print and S3. So we need this to be resistance target 720.718.31 is one. 0.9 million. And then we've got 715.31 is S4. Then we've got 712.50, 710 is S5, 707.50, 705, 705 is 7.8 million. The downside is clearly easier. Look at all these pockets here, which are quite wide. And then that ATR. Let's move on to Intel. All right, so Intel largest trades in the last 30 days, similar to the Q's. I mean, it's technology thing here. We— this was the down day, and then there's the, the gap up, and there was these about 8 million shares here come back, test it. We've consolidated for a bit, moving up, and then now we're stuck in this consolidation of prints. So either we have to break below this 97 level or break above 106. So there's a bit of a range there for as far as swinging is concerned. So let's go ahead and map this out on the intraday. ATR is about $6.74. That'll kind of be what we're looking at. We're going to be bullish above $100.50. We're ranging here, stuck at this 1.7 million. I will take some profit. $195 is 3.9 million. $101.20, $101.54 is S1, which is the high of this opening candle. Then we've got 102.34, 102.73 is a cam, and 103 is 9.9 million shares back here from August 14th. And I stopped there. That's my 50 simple moving average. We're getting close to the 200 simple, 200 exponential. This is a chop fest in here with that larger print. If they're selling, then we'll just bounce off some of these. Um, on the downside, we're going to be bearish below 99. Let's get below here. We're, we're trying to hold this 99.58. If you want to go from 99.50 to 99.25, you can. That's not a very good risk-reward with this being support, but so I chose 99 with 99.25 as, uh, the resistance there. 98, 97.45, 4.1 million. 97, 96, 95.41, is S3, and that gets us through the ATR. All right, there you have it. Those are your 2 trade setups for today.
