In this February 9, 2026 video, trader Dave Barnhart reviews the intraday performance of two trade setups he posted earlier in the day: silver (SLV) and Hims (HIMS). He walks through the original bullish/bearish thresholds he set (SLV bullish above $74.50, bearish below $73.50; HIMS bullish above $20.50, bearish below $19.50), the price action that unfolded, and how key technical levels—pivot points (R2, R3, S3), the 50‑day simple moving average, 4‑ and 8‑period exponential moving averages, and longer‑term 161‑ and 200‑day EMAs—guided entry and exit decisions. For SLV, the price dipped early, hit the lower target at $71.54, rebounded, retested pivots, and ultimately rose to $75.67, approaching the R3 target near $76.27. For HIMS, the stock fell sharply, breached the bearish threshold, slid to the S3 level around $16.46, then showed signs of a bounce near $17‑$18 with volume spikes and EMA support. Barnhart highlights volume spikes, retests, and confluence as signals for entries, and notes where additional pull‑back entries could be taken. The video concludes with a promotion for a dark‑pool weekly report, an invitation to sign up for his educational material, and a partnership mention with MobyTick and TrendSpider for real‑time institutional trade data.

Good afternoon, traders. It's Monday, February 9th at 3 PM. Let's review our trade setups we had for today. So we had silver and we had Hims. So looking at silver here, we were bullish above $74.50, bearish below $73.50. So both directions actually hit. So here, $73.50 came earlier, closer to 5 AM. And we dropped down and hit some of our targets here down to 71.54. We see how these pivots and these cams are really, really important. We came back up to test this R2 again and then came back, make a little bit of a higher low, and then started moving up. So when we were mapping this out back here, we were looking for 74.50 area right up here. So this would have been making a new high. So If we're looking at this, there's another entry point. This came up and it pulled back as well. And so into the open, you've got this 9:30. This one opened, came back, tested the cam, moved up, and then continued higher. So this here, the break of this coming back, breaking above this high, is an entry point. And then this one actually came back, retested This cam here as well. Like, so we had tested this before. You can potentially get in here, wait for another retest as well. This might have been a little bit safer here where we've got the increasing volume here, and then it popped. So there's the entry there about 74, and we were bullish above 74.50, but the 74 entry was pretty good. This one came up all the way to 75.67 so far. So we have 76, 76, 27 is this R3 on this target here. So 75, 50 is pretty good. And this is riding the 50 simple moving average. And you can see how we still have, we still have this momentum here with the 4 and the 8 exponential moving average, where the 4 exponential is the red and the 8 is the blue. So we see that. And so yeah, this seems to be moving up. We've got higher volume here, and then we look a little bit closer. Came down, tagged the 15, increasing volume here, and now we're popping. So let's see if we can make a higher high here. Maybe we'll get up to the 76.76.27 on that. So if you got in another entry point there, that's great. But on the pullback where we're actually closing below the four or the eight exponential moving average. There, that's a good entry point anyway because you don't know. We've got the increasing volume and potentially a shorting opportunity, but you would need some sort of confluence for that. And so this is the 3rd test here, maybe the 4th test, trying to get up to the R3. All right, let's go ahead and look at HIMS. All right, so here's HIMS. And this was a massive move down on the day. It's down $4 for the day so far. Well, and on, uh, it's now an $18 stock. So we were bullish above $20.50 and bearish below $19.50. The $20.50, so we wanted this to come up here, right? So we mapped this out fairly early, but we wanted to get above this mess here, and that didn't actually happen. So bearish below $19.50, this one occurred fairly early in the morning, about 5 AM. But we came back, didn't make a higher high. We tagged this 50 simple moving average, and then how we talk about the momentum, the 4 and the 8 exponential moving average, tag this and then rode the 4 exponential all the way down, right down to this S3, this, uh, 1759. That was also a target here. This came back up and tested and then gapped lower. This looks like a bit of a liquidity sweep here. This one came all the way down to $16.46. We had another target below if this continued to about $16, but then we've got a couple trades today, $240K and $212K, $17.49 and $17.23. So When these come in, you can see it bouncing around these prints. Then we have the break, come back to the prints, break, and there's the retest increasing volume. You can see that here breaking above, and then that's pretty good up until where we're going to go to our moving averages potentially. This is a 161 exponential. This one here is my 200 exponential moving average looking left. This is this is prior prior support, which would be resistance anyway. And so what's the high around here? 1916. So around the dollar level. So we're pulling back a little bit more. There's increasing volume. And so let's see see where this goes. But anyway, if you were catching this on the upside, you've got an entry point being the dollar level moving averages and. Okay, there you have it.
