In this end‑of‑year market recap, the host reviews the intraday trade setups for the SPY ETF and the QQQ ETF on Wednesday, December 31st. For SPY, the bullish threshold was set above 688.25 and the bearish threshold below 685. The price never reached the bullish level, but fell below 685, triggering a short entry near the 200‑day exponential moving average (EMA) with increasing volume, eventually moving down to 682.56 and targeting 682.50. The host notes a 1.6 million‑share 5‑minute candle and a 4.7 million‑share trade from December 1st as context for the sell‑off and discusses rebalancing in the final 15 minutes. For QQQ, bullish was above 617.50 and bearish below 616.40. The pre‑market rally hit the bullish target and reached a high of 620.25/620.50 before pulling back at market open. A short entry was taken after the price broke below the 200‑day EMA and S1, falling to 615 with a target at S3 (614.35). The host comments on higher volume versus the previous day, thin holiday trading, and projects possible short‑term support levels at 612, 607.50, and 600. The video ends with a New Year greeting and a note that markets close tomorrow, with new setups to be presented on Friday.

Good afternoon, traders. It's Wednesday, December 31st at 3:48 PM. Let's review our trade setups for today. We had SPY and we had QQQ. So SPY bullish above 688.25, bearish below 685. The 688.25 never occurred, but the 685 actually did. So we had this at the open. We pulled back a little bit. We tested 685, moved below, hit a couple of our targets. But then later in the day, look at this, uh, at 2 o'clock we tagged our 200 exponential moving average, and then we had increasing volume breaking below this S2. Look at that. It was a great entry point, and this came all the way down here to 682.56. We had a, um, a target of 682.50, but the previous target was 683. 43, and we're fighting with this S2 and this 4.7 million share trade here from December 1st. So we can see here that it's selling off a little bit into the close. So we have some rebalancing in the last 15 minutes of the day where the underlyings— the SPY has to equal the value of the underlying. So maybe this is a bit of a sell-off in that, and so we'll see. If this can make it down to the 682.50 level anyway and hit another one of our targets. So we can see here that— and look at the volume here in this 5-minute candle here, 1.6 million on that. So we'll see, we'll see what happens here. Let's move on to the QQQs. So the Q's here are selling off a little bit more. We were bullish above 617.50 And bearish below 616.40. So the 617.50 actually occurred pre-market. Look at this, around 7:25 we shot up and hit all of our targets before the market actually opened. And our final target here was 620.25 right here, and it hit, it hit that. We went to 620.50, and then as the market opened we started pulling back. So there was a good entry point Really, when the market opens, you need to reevaluate as well for the downside. But we were bearish below 616.40. There was all of this mess in the way with some prints, and so this was the low that we needed to break below. But you can see here there was some other decent entries— break and retest of the support— of the resistance here, which was previous support, and we pulled back. And then there was another opportunity here, this tag my 200 exponential. And this S1 and didn't hold. So breaking below this with the increasing volume here was a great short entry from 618, and then we're all the way down here at 615, right? So we came down to 615. Our target below that is S3, 614.35. So if you were in it up here, there's no reason to actually get out until we close above the 4 or the 8 exponential. So You might have, you might have taken some profit here, got out potentially. But anyway, we're getting into the last little bit of the day. So this was pretty easy trading for today. And, uh, look at this, we've got increasing volume here. And so today's volume, there's quite a bit as compared to yesterday, although the week's been a little thin with the holidays. I could see it's coming down to 612. Don't hold that. $607.50 and then $600 down here on the longer term if that's the case, because we had this higher high here, higher low, lower high. So we might— we're probably going to stay in this range for a little bit. We'll see what actually happens. But anyway, uh, Happy New Year to everybody who's celebrating this evening. Markets close tomorrow. So we'll be back Friday with all new trade setups. All right, happy trading, every—
