✅ RESULTS REVEALED: Did Hit SPY & SNDK Our Targets?

Trader Dave Barnhart reviews his intraday trades on SPY and SNDK using dark-pool data from MobyTick. SPY hit his $692.92 target before pulling back; SNDK fell to $5.42 after earnings broke support at $6.47. He shows how institutional prints appearing within 60 seconds confirm technical levels he pre-mapped.

Good afternoon, traders. It's Friday, January 30th at 3:30 PM. Let's review our trade setups we have for today. We have the SPY and we had SanDisk. So let's go ahead and look at the SPY. So I'm using TrendSpider here with the Moby Dark Pool indicators on that, so you can see these live as they occur. On the right-hand side, I've got the 10 Top 10 dark pool prints in the last 30 days. And you can see this, see this big giant red candle yesterday? Look at that volume. And look at these trades here: $2.3 billion, $6.69 whatever 53, $6.9462, $2 billion there as well. And you can see, look at this today, we shot up, tagged this $4.5 billion trade from back here. this candle all the way down to tag the lower side of this. Look at that. And so this is the dark pools in action. You can see that here. So when we look at the intraday, what I have here are all of the trades in the last 2 days just overlaid on the chart. I have no support and resistance. We're just using the— just using the prints here. And I have a 4 exponential moving average. I'll probably have to put a couple more on there for a little bit more context. But down here we can see the top 10 dark pool prints January 29th to January 30th by date, and you can see them here with the shares and the value. So when we're looking at this, we were bullish above $689.60, bearish below $688. And so we had mapped this out down here just before, just before 5 AM. And so $689.60, this went all the way up to $692.92. Was our target on the upside. It was our high-end target. So we actually pre-market came back, hit that, came back. The 8 AM candle is usually a bit crazy, but look what it did. It tagged the 688.65 and then all the way to 692.58, right? So the 8 AM candle, you get a lot of trades that are just reported legally, and so it messes this up, this candle. So 8 o'clock You wind up getting a mess right there. The massive wick—that's what happens there. So anyway, at the open, we actually shot up and we had this this trade six ninety four oh four hundred and thirty eight million dollars. That's still into this post market back here, and then it didn't actually hold. So we we came back, pulled back, and then came up and hit our. Target $692.92 is— was our target there. So we hit it here, pulled back, and then came up and hit it there. We were bearish below $688, and so that was actually down here, $688, and then our first target was $687.31, and we came down and we hit that here at 1:20. But when you're looking at this, since you map this out super early, you need to be able to pivot and see something else, right? As the— so when the market opened and you saw this whippiness, there might not have been a trade because you're looking for increasing volume and then some sort of break of structure, like potentially shorting it. Here you have this massive volume that you have here, and then when we break below, and then you have these trades, then you have trades down to other print levels like this. So you can see the normal market structure up, back, rejected off these prints, moving down. Now the benefit of using this indicator is that within 60 seconds of the trade hitting the tape, the line shows up right on your chart. So it's really, it's really, really helpful when you're trading like that. So whatever your technical analysis is, it's really helpful to see that Sort of thing. So anyway, SPY, a little bit on the upside and a little bit on the downside. And let's go ahead and look at Sandisk. This one is interesting, SNDK. So here's the same thing. Look at the value here on the left-hand side, right? This 340.50 is, uh, 17 million. 387.71 28 million, and it's— they're adding to their position. And you can see this opens, come down, pretty much tests the print, moves up. Then we've got 25 million, then we have a consolidation of $158 million right here. And then when you break above that, that's a great entry point. But this one opens, comes down, tests the open of this candle very close to this 25 million share trade. And shoots up. Now this was earnings, and look at the volume here today. This one shot up massively and then retraced. It's almost a bullish engulfing, especially if we're measuring bodies here. And then these were selling off here. These were selling off today. So when we look at this, we were bullish above 650, 250, bearish below 6. 47. So if we go back here, bullish above 652, 652.50, this one wound up shooting all the way up to a high of 670, 669. We had mapped this one out 670, 675, and then 680. So this one pretty much got filled by the opening candle all the way up to $6.75, and then it just tanked. Look at this, it pulled back. So we were bearish below $6.47, and at the open, this was our entry point here, the $6.47 level. And this one just came down, and then you see this 30 million at $6.05, and you can see how it holds here. So what the institutions do If they have a trade here, this is actually support. And look at the amount of support that it was. How many candles? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and then the 8th one here. And you see the increasing volume as this moves down. So this is increasing volume. This pulled back, we retested again, came back up to this level, and then broke down again. With increasing volume. So there's a shorting opportunity. This was kind of stressful here if you were trading it because it just went down a little bit, tested, down, tested, and then there was another 29 million share trade here. And look at this, 1, 2, 3. So it's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 candles, and then increasing volume on this one. There's your shorting opportunity. This is the support no longer holding, and then we come down here at the bottom, and it looks like they're taking— they're covering their short here with a $107 million trade here at $539.30. So you see this hammer increasing volume here, a bit of exhaustion, and we'll see if it's a bit of covering. So if we break below this again with increasing volume, Then down. But right now this is support, so we'll see what actually happens there. So bearish blows $6.47, and then we had a target at $6.10, $6.12, which was it. Well, it blew through all of that, and then it continued all the way down to $5.42. So this is another, what, $67 it went on the, on the, uh, on the short side. So it looks like Whatever, however well they did here on earnings, everybody was just selling. They were just selling, taking the profit on that. It was a massive, massive gap up. I think I forget what the— it was $100 and something it went up on a $600 stock. So that was, that was quite a bit there. So I just wanted to show you that. I know everybody's into the technical analysis stuff. You can actually, you can actually trade with major dollar levels And institutional prints, and it's really neat to see them just show up on your chart like that. Okay, so I wanted to share that with you. Hopefully you guys learned something today with that, and we'll be back Monday with all new trade setups. Happy trading, everyone.
