Because here's the thing, their problem statement is if they were to go out to the open market and buy a million shares, for example, of AMD at $254, And you saw this live on the, on the order book. So if somebody saw, if you were diligent in watching and you saw that there was an order here for 1 million shares of AMD at $254, do you think this guy would get filled? Absolutely not. I would be buying it at $254.01 and front-running this guy. This is a quarter of a billion dollars. If this million was sitting over here at $258.97, I'm shorting it at 258.96, and this guy won't get filled. So what they do is they legalized it where they can do it on private exchanges and then report the trade after it's already done. So the problem was solved with the creation of dark pool exchanges. So the institutions, this was their edge now. They can trade massive share sizes. They don't have to report the trade until it's complete. It's perfectly legal, and they're in and out before retail, and the retail traders are left holding the bag. So if you turn off the news and follow the money, you'll be far more profitable.
