In this pre‑market video recorded on January 2 2026, the presenter (Dave Barnhart) delivers actionable technical trade setups for the QQQ ETF and Nvidia (NVDA) stock. He reviews recent price action, volume prints, and moving‑average interactions, then outlines specific bullish and bearish entry triggers, support/resistance zones, and target levels for both instruments. For QQQ, he highlights a bullish breakout above $6.22 with targets up to $630‑$633 and a bearish retracement below $6.20 with multiple support points down to $6.16. For NVDA, he proposes a bullish entry above $191 with targets up to $206 and a bearish retracement below $189.75 with support levels around $186‑$188. He emphasizes the relevance of 4‑, 8‑, and 200‑period EMA/SMA lines, recent high‑volume prints, and pivot points, and cautions traders about market discipline and risk. The video concludes with a call to like, share, subscribe, and a promise of a follow‑up results video later in the day.

Good morning, traders. It's Friday, January 2nd at 4:44 AM. All right, hopefully everybody had a great New Year. We're back into a new trading year, first trading day of the year. So let's make this a great one, 2026. Let's make some money, discipline, all of that. So I've got 2 stocks for you today. I've got QQQ and I've got Nvidia. So let's go ahead and look at the Q's. So what was it? It was Wednesday, looked a little bit bearish. We had this increasing volume breaking down. We were tagging the moving average here and a print way down here at 613.74. 613.65 was a 1.2 million print and we closed on that. This was— we had this high and then we had higher low, lower high, higher low. So this needs to break out Above $6.20, $6.25. We need to close above $6.25, $6.30 hopefully, then we're above all of these prints. So we can see that we're still below these ones, $6.25, $6.53, in that area. So today we're already up almost $7. So we pulled back, maybe fake out some of the shorts, and now we're bouncing back up. So let's plan this out on both sides. So, um, on the left-hand side we have our 5-minute. We're going to be Bullish above 622.06. This is 622.02, but we'll give it a 16th. So we want to break, maybe a retest, and where this actually becomes support rather than resistance. Target 622.50, 622.92 is this 2 million right here. 624, 625.08 is a 1.1 million. 625.53 is a 2.9 million. Then we've got our R3 up here at $627.93, so that's really close to the dollar level as well. And then we've got $630. And so if we break the $630 level, then we can probably go to $632, $633.84 on that. Okay, so on the downside for the retracement, we're going to be bearish below $620. Let's get below here a little bit. There's this cam. So what we want is a break below this. This then would become resistance if we don't hold rolling over. Then we've got 619.35. 619 is the 4 and the 8 exponential moving average. They're sitting right here. This will be strong support. So this is a scalping strategy on the downside, and you can tell with how the market's been behaving for the last month. It is really scalping, you know, for For that, the, uh, the swing trading all out hasn't been that great, so just be careful with that. So 618.16 is the R1, 617.56 is a cam, 616.54 is a 2.7 million, and 616.11 is back to the pivot. So that's as far back as I mapped this. As we get down to the 617.50, Around here, 617, and this print here, we have our peanut butter and jelly, our 200 simple and our 200 exponential moving average. And then we've got the pivot right here, so this will be very strong. And then we're fighting with these moving averages as well. So let's see if that actually holds. Okay, next up, let's look at Nvidia. So Nvidia, we've had these prints here December 8th. You can see they were heavy, but we pulled back. There were prints here and then more at the bottom here. Look at this, 5 million and a 3 million and a 2.5 million right here. And then so we— it looks like they were adding to their position and then moving up. So these prints here around the $186 level, $187.50, these have been support for how many days? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. We came back and closed on the 8 exponential moving average on Wednesday, and now we're moving up. So have they— are they done with their consolidation? Is this gonna— is this gonna move up, or we can have a retracement back to the downside? So let's go ahead and have a look. We're going to be bullish above $191. Let's have this $190.57 be support. So we want to break above it, test, have this hold. Start moving up, $191, target $191.50. Take a little bit off the table as you get going. Those can pay the bills over time. Then we've got $190, $192 is this R2, and see how it's easier on the upside. There's no resistance in the way. $194, $195.99 is R3, and then we've got $197.50, $206. So the $200 level will be Quite strong there. We're going to be bearish below 189.75. So let's get below here, 189.75. I'm going to roll back your target. 189.21 is this R1. 188.74, 188.42 is the 4 exponential moving average, this red one here on the right-hand side. We've got to be careful of that one. Then 187 85 is the retracement to this pivot, and also my 200 simple, 200 exponential. We've got this cam here, 187.62. Then we've got 187.50, which is this 3 million here. 187.25 is a cam, and 186.87 is this cam, 186.87 right here. And this is also the 8 exponential moving average here, which would be the previous trading session's low. So just be careful. There's lots of cushioning here to soften the blow here on the on the retracement site. So that'll be your scalping opportunity. All right, there you have it. Those are your two trade setups for today. So please like, share, subscribe. Do all of that great stuff. stuff and have a great first trading day of the new year. We'll see you later this afternoon with our results video. Happy trading, everyone.
