Hi, this is Dave from the Odyssey. We're in the thick of the SMSF season at the moment and I've noticed a lot of accounting firms are looking for help with their SMSF workload. So today I'd like to talk about Odyssey's same day SMSF service and how it can assist your accounting firms through the hectic busy season. The idea for the Odyssey same day service started back in 2016, and I still remember when I had a managers meeting and I told them that we had to work towards super funds coming back in one day. At the time back in 2016, we were taking about five to 10 days on average to get a job back. Took a lot of time to resolve the issues and we resolved them one by one and not only involved the people preparing the super funds, but also the whole company, the admin, IT and training, and even hr. Frequently I think a goal is only ever achieved when the entire company gets involved. So from 2016, when we were returning funds in about 10 days, the end of 2016, early 2017, we had it down to five working days in 2018, three working days in 2019, and then down to one working day from 2020. So it took us about five years to reach that goal. However, even with our super fast turnaround time, we've managed to maintain the superior quality that Odyssey is known for and we provide that at no additional charge. This is all thanks, I guess, to not only the staff who perform at such a wonderful level, but also the efficiency, capacity, planning, continuous training, good internal infrastructure on our systems. You have to upload the job before midday, Australian Eastern Standard Time with a maximum job size of 8 hours. Secondly, make sure you upload everything so that we can get the job done within a day. And then thirdly, just leave the rest to us. We're a couple of hours behind Australia, depending upon where you live, where you work, and so we should be able to complete the job in the same day. If you upload everything, make sure I've got enough work to do the job, then it'll be ready to be reviewed by you starting the next day.
