Property Management is an essential Service

Hi, everyone. Dax here again from Hera Property. I just wanted to jump on because there was a lot of interesting reactions to the government's news today. With lockdowns and things around, essential services are the only things that are going to be open soon. So I just wanted to talk to the landlords and tenants out there that we work for and potentially work for is that property management is an essential service. Okay? So be comfortable, be assured that we're there working for you throughout this. So that means, as the government says, essential services can work through. So as you may have seen on some of my other videos and tips where we can do our open inspections. So if you need a house, we can find it for you. And we're working hard for some right now, two routine inspections are still being done. You can watch the previous video that I released yesterday for that one. And we're doing it in a safe way to keep tenants and our staff safe. 3 End of tenancy inspections will also be done. Open houses, same sort of thing. The thing is, we're making sure we keep a social distance. We're only allowing one set of people through the house at the same time, at one time. And also when we need to meet you, usually we try to use Zoom, this technology here first. If we have to meet face to face, we will do that as well. We'll make sure social distancing financing is kept. So just wanted to make you aware that with the government's lockdown that's coming, we're here for you. And rest assured that we'd be looking after your investment property as we have. And we've pivoted to make sure that we fit in with the government's guidelines. And also if you're a tenant, we're also looking after you as well to make sure that you've got your property up in a good condition. If you need repairs, give us a shout. We've got ways to do that. We've got tradesmen that we make sure that adhere to the government standards and our standards during this period. And please give us a contact. Also, the one thing I also want to talk to you about quickly is rent assistance and home loan assistance. So these two things are pretty key for what's going on. And we'll know more tomorrow with the government announcing it after their cabinet meeting. So with the loans, please contact your bank if you've either lost your job or you've got some financial difficulties. Sole trader, small business. There's lots of, lots of lost a lot of work. The banks are working hard to help you with rent assistance, please give us a call, notify us there may need to be proof of the loss of job or loss of income and things like that. And when the government comes out with its recommendations we will review that in light of your financial difficulties and work with the landlord and yourself to resolve this. We are here for you and we're trying to make this as smooth as possible. So to recap, property management Hera property management is an essential service.
