15. Creating Scripts - Dean Graziosi

Nathan Street shows how to write marketing scripts with a clear structure: opening hook, body, and close. He gives examples like "May I tell you how to save your house?" and stresses that you need to practice the script and end with an explicit call to action, like asking someone to call now or visit, to actually convert leads.

Hello, my name is Nathan street with the Dean Grazioski Success Academy. I want to take a minute just to talk simply about some of the concepts that are involved with dealing in marketing itself, particularly working with and creating scripts for your marketing, as well as a simple direct call to action and its great effectiveness pretty much in any marketing material that I have put out at any time. I have created and worked with a call to action and it's great importance. I want to touch upon that in a minute as well. Script. Many people look at a script as just a simple conversation, working, can I help you? And so on. But oftentimes people don't understand is that when you're working with a script, it is much like you actually doing marketing. If you were doing some type of a marketing presentation on a letter, you'd create a heading, you create the body, and then you'd create the end. The same thing has to apply. When we do a script, a phone scri, a contact script where we're knocking on a door, we're contacting or working with someone, the same parts apply. We want to have an opening line. The opening line. The intention for this is to draw attention. That's the biggest part of it because you literally have just seconds to draw their attention and keep them interested in what you have to say, regardless of the situation that you're working with. Because if you don't do it in that period of time, what will happen is they will leave and they won't work with you. They'll shut the door, they'll hang up on you. So you've got to grab them right away to go ahead and work with them. Or we might lose some situation with that. So some ideas of an opening line or example may be something like, may I tell you how to save your house? May I tell you how to stay in your house so you don't lose it? May I? Those are a few. This is the May I's. Another you might look at is don't let the bank steal your house. I have a way to keep you in the house. Another one you might look at is don't sell your house. Keep it. Let me show you how the idea is you're creating a heading or an opening line, as you would call it, to draw their attention right away. And as soon as you do that, then you can start to introduce yourself if you'd like. Don't sell your house. Stay in it. Let me show you how. My name is Nathan Street. I'm an investor. And what I do is I help People like you in your circumstances, and then you can go along and they can ask, answer, and ask questions at that time. However, as you notice, then what we've done is we've done just like we would in a letter piece. We've put together a heading. Now we go into the body of what we can do, how we can do it. Then we have the call to action at the very end, just like anything else. Can I come over to see the house? Can I step in to talk to you a little bit further about what I'd like to do? Can I make you an offer right now? You just go on and on with those types of ideas. So I wanted to pinpoint that really quick. Now, also, one of the things you want to do for yourself, if you're looking at any type of marking like that, is to create this script. Actually write it out. If you can spend some time writing it out, writing out your thoughts, your directions, things like that, that will really help to expand a lot of what you understand or what you're going to be doing. And then practice it so you sound good at it. Make it sound natural, not robotic or anything like that, but put it together so that when you call them, you have what you're going to say. Some people think it's weird to put a call to action in the middle of a conversation. Some people think it's weird as well to go ahead and create an opening line. However, these types of ideas and settings actually create greater success. One of the things also, they had a huge study, I don't recall where it came from, but a huge study that found that 80%, something like 60, 80% of the people that would do sales would not do a call to action or a pitch to sell right then. Well, the same thing has to apply to us. We've got to do a call to action on those parts in the middle of our piece as well. Now, the call to action itself is one of the most important parts. So once we've gathered them and they're there with us, we gave them an opening line, we gave them something there. We have to have a call to action, because without a call of action, they don't know what to do. And the people that are working with the properties or buying from you or anything like that, they don't know what to do. So you have to tell them what to do. Call me now. Let me come in. Show me your property. Give me whatever. Those types of things will help create a better circumstance for you. And if you put those pieces together with a script with a call to action. Remember those call to action pieces? You will have good opportunities to continue to build for yourself. Hello, My name is Nathan.
