3 Ways To Sell More Of Anything

This YouTube podcast episode (Millionaire Success Habits) features Dean Graziosi arguing that learning sales and persuasion is essential to achieving impact, income, and long-term success. He reframes sales as an ethical, service-oriented skill (using MLK and Mother Teresa as examples of persuasive leaders), urges improving one’s offering and obsessively learning persuasion, and closes with promotional calls-to-action for his book, course, and VIP text list.

Do you have any apprehension towards sales, towards persuasion, towards getting someone to give you money for your services or your products? If that's the case, then this may be the most important podcast you've ever listened to. With all the opportunities that exist today, why haven't you reached your next level of income, life and wealth? In most cases, we've been lied to. We've been told that if you find the right opportunity and you work hard, you can be successful. And that's simply not true. Millionaires, billionaires, and successful people have realized you need the foundation for wealth, the habits. And that's exactly what you'll be learning on the Millionaire Success Habits podcast. All success starts here. Hey, it's Dean Graziosi. Welcome to the Millionaire Success Habits podcast, where every single week we go upstream. Well, I go upstream to anchor in the foundation. The habits, the rules for success. We all know that those magical money machines that get rich overnight process isn't real. But what is real is adapting new habits in your life that allow for long term sustainable wealth, abundance, joy. And that's why you are here. And today I want to cover one of the most important things to your success. In fact, this is the week of persuasion, the week of understanding sales in a different way. Because nothing, I mean nothing, causes more controversy. Nothing gets people to raise their hands when it comes to sales. I literally was just in one of my Facebook groups where we have over 15,000amazing people, and I was talking about sales, and I said below, and over 8,000 people watched the video like that. And I said below, write in what your biggest fear is about sales, your biggest worry about sales, or what you'd like me to teach you. And you can't believe the overwhelming thing was, I feel bad. I get nervous when it's time to ask for the money. Its sales are something that other people should do. And if I make it strong enough, maybe it could just sell without me having to sell. Is that possible, Dean? And the fact of the matter is, if you build it, even if you build the most amazing thing in the world, the most amazing service, the most amazing mastermind, the most amazing workshop, if you have the most amazing house to sell, whatever it is that you're doing, if you build it, they will not come. They won't. It's a delusion. It's unreal to think that if you do something so well that word of mouth will allow it to take off on its own. Does it happen? Of course. But it's an outlier. It's a fraction of a fraction of 1%. So you're gonna have to face something right here, right now. If you don't learn to sell, if you don't learn to persuade, if you don't learn to get people to take action, you will never. This is gonna be really harsh. I'm sorry. You will never reach that level of impact, abundance, joy, and income that you crave. But you see, what most people do wrong when it comes to sales, to persuasion is for some reason, we have this innate feeling, maybe someone sold to us in a really bad way. It was pushy. Maybe your parents didn't like salesmen. Maybe. Maybe you watched movies as a kid where the salesperson was the cheesy car guy and made people uncomfortable. I don't know what it is, but something made most of us think sales are bad. I've said this before, and maybe you've heard it, but I want you to hear it again right now. Was Martin Luther King a salesman? Think about it. During that time in history, were there a lot of people. Were there a lot of African Americans speaking out, needing that change had to happen because it needed to. It was a must. Do you think there was passionate men and women of all races, women wanting to change the culture in America when it came to African Americans? Of course. But why did Martin Luther King stand out? Because he was a really effective salesperson. He was a really. He was really effective at persuasion. He got people to listen to him. He got people to take action. He did it in the most calm, incredible, impactful way. But if he wasn't good at sales, he would have been another incredible human just hoping for change. Was Mother Teresa a saleswoman? Did she sell? Well? Let me just ask you this. Do you think there was a lot of nuns since the beginning of time that dedicated their life to God, dedicated their life to other people, and wanted to change, want to make an impact, wanted to change the world. Do you think there were more than one? Do you think there was more than a hundred? Do you think there was more than a thousand? Do you think there was more than 10,000? Of course. But why do we know Mother Teresa's name and not so many of the others? Because she was an effective saleswoman. She was effective at persuasion. She got people to listen to her. She got people to take action. She got people to do whatever the hell she wanted. Luckily, it was for the good. So today, maybe this is the day that you decide that whatever it is that you do, if you have your own business, if there's a business you want to start, if you're going to create a workshop, a mastermind. You're going to get into the knowledge industry, the real estate industry, online business, a brick and mortar, a restaurant, or the job you're currently in. What if you decided today that there's no way to go to another level unless you learn how to persuade and sell at the next level? But how about this? What if we just wiped out all your fear right now? What if we just ended this delusion that sales are bad by doing this? Making sure that whatever it is that you do, if you're in a job, make sure you're providing the greatest value and impact for that company. Because how you do one thing is how you do everything. If you're starting a company, why not make sure that whatever it is that you're going to serve to people, your workshop, your mastermind, or your online product or your thing on Amazon, or whatever it is that you're going to do, or your restaurant or the real estate you're going to sell, what if you decided to take that up another 25% and make it so damn good, so good that you feel bad for people if they don't work with you? What if that was your new way of looking at everything you did that. If you didn't love it, if you didn't want your parents to have it, your siblings to have it, your. Your children, your. Your spouse to have this service, no matter what it is, this product, if it's not the ideal, ideal, ideal, fix it. And then once it's fixed, then all your effort and energy needs to go on how to get it in people's hands. You see, when you love what you do, and I talk about this a lot, and if you heard it, great, you're going to hear it again. It's like going to the gym. You don't go to the gym once over a weekend and get in shape for the rest of your life. You don't hear me talk about persuasion and sales once. And then you're great at it for the rest of your life. You need to hear this all the time. But I'm betting to say you've seen me all over the Internet. You see my ads on YouTube and Instagram and Facebook. And some people say to me, God, I see your ads everywhere. You think it's too much. It's. No, it's not enough. Because here's what I know. If you read my book, Millionaire Success Habits, you know that that book impacted your life. Never had anybody read it. To this day, over 600,000 copies. Never had anyone read it and say, oh, this was terrible. Didn't get anything out of it? No. When people were really like, oh my God, I shifted my life, I shifted this one habit. If you got involved in the knowledge business blueprint, you know, over 15,000 people in GOT in week one, absolutely insane. The Facebook group, there's a post every 30 seconds of people's lives being changed. If I didn't persuade people to get my book, if I didn't persuade people, along with Tony Robbins, to get in the knowledge business blueprint, there's no way that I could show them a new path and plan to tap into the knowledge industry to share what they know, share a skill, a habit, a hobby, or work with other people who are experts, make an impact on other people's lives and make money. There's no way I could help them. And here's the other thing. I think my book is one of the greatest books ever written. I think the knowledge business blueprint is literally the best course that was ever created in the history of the world, hands down. Even if no matter what industry you're in, that course is a game changer for the world. It's a new gold standard. It's set a new height of deliverability that no one's ever even come close to. The world is going crazy over it. So when I love something that much and I put extra effort, extra energy to make it perfect once it's done, then I feel obligated to get people to enroll. If you're looking to change your life and have new habits, you need millionaire success habits. I would push hard and do whatever it takes to get you there in an ethical, enthusiastic and authentic way. Knowledge business blueprint. You want to tap into an industry, go into a billion dollars a day, share what you know or share with someone else. No. There's no better way, hands down, in the world, than being a part of the knowledge business blueprint. I will push anyone on the fence. I will push them to action. Because here's what I want you to know. I want you to feel what I feel. If I don't get someone to get my book or, or, or help them with real estate or help them get in the knowledge industry, what's going to happen with their life? They're going to look back in five years, still nothing changed in their life because no one pushed them to be uncomfortable, to take action, or worse yet, they get one of my competitors, who I don't even think we have competition. But what if they read the wrong book? What if they get the wrong course? What if they get guidance by someone who actually hasn't lived the experience? So when I think through those glasses, if I don't learn persuasion, if I don't learn sales, I am screwing that person over. Because they're not going to take action. They're going to leave their life the way it is and they're not happy. Or somebody else that's good at sales with a crappy product is going to get their money, and I can't help them either way. So I better step up my game and be good at persuasion. Why did I share that with you? Because I want you to feel the same way. If you don't learn persuasion, I don't care how good you are at what you do. I don't care if your workshop is going to be the best. Your community is going to be amazing. The mastermind you're thinking of will be the best on the planet. I don't care if you're in real estate. I don't care what business you're in. It doesn't matter how good it is. If you're not good at getting people to take action, to use it, then they're going to go to someone else, so they're not going to do anything at all. So today, what if it was the day you shifted your mindset on selling? What if today you found a way to embrace it? What if you found a way to love it? What if you started studying? People say, the more I study persuasion, the more I can help impact people's lives, the better I get it sales, the more people's lives I can change. What if that was your new mantra? What if that was your new feeling? Because that's mine. That's why you see me everywhere. You're going to continue to see me on TV, through direct mail, through Facebook, through Instagram, through YouTube. Because I get to change your life if I get you to listen. I'm hoping today, me persuading you to listen to this podcast gave you one insight that'll allow your life to shift. So the message for today is sales and persuasion. It's your only way to your next level. Why not learn it? Why not obsess? Why not get people to take action? Why not feel bad if you don't get them to say yes? And how do you do that? With ethics and feeling great about it and authentically love what you do so much that you feel like you're doing a disservice to those who don't take action.
