Short excerpt from a YouTube video ("Best Success Advice for People in Their 20’s") featuring Dean Graziosi giving mentorship-focused advice. He recommends reading the book Mastery, finding a mentor in your desired field, becoming an unpaid or low-paid apprentice, being a "sponge" and indispensable employee to accelerate learning and "condense decades into days."

We had interviewed a gentleman. We'd asked, are there shortcuts to success? And he said, yes, there is. He said, it's mentorship. What would be your advice to that young person out there? Anybody that wants to go be attached to that mentor, and they just need that extra step to be able to make that happen.
Read the book Mastery. I just had my daughter, who's going to be 18 years old, read it, and it explains that whole model. What you have to do is you have to find something you're passionate about or you think you could to investigate, and then you're going to go mentor under someone. You're going to be an apprentice. And this is what I told her. And I'll tell this to anybody watching. Find somebody who's doing what you want to do and go tell them you'll work for them for free or a minimal amount, if you can. If it's possible, become the sponge. Become the greatest employee they've ever had. Make it so they can't live without you. And what you get to do is condense decades into days.
