Cohort 11 - Day 2 - 5-20-2025

John Cheney walks through building AI workflows for images, video, and audio. He shows how to combine MidJourney and Runway for ecommerce marketing, clone voices with 11 Labs for personalized sales videos, and integrate everything into apps using Replit and Firebase. The core idea: surf the AI tsunami by using what platforms already do well instead of fighting the current.

Get. All right. Welcome to day two. How are you guys doing this morning? Good. Replit.
Busy.
You did, Thomas.
Sorry, you said stay up late playing with replit?
Yeah, I said, did anybody stay up late playing with replay? Yeah. Oh, yeah, Yeah. I Woke up at 4am this morning and picked up my laptop and just let it go. You just kind of get it started. You're like, awesome.
Working agent.
Yeah. One of the things that's a little bit annoying is that the agent just sits there and works for like 10 minutes or 7 minutes or whatever. And you just have to like, wait for it to do stuff. So when I'm. I'll be like doing dishes and I'll just have my computer there and I'll be like, okay, go. And they'll just like, go get stuff done and then, okay, do this. You know, anyway, at some point you'll be able to completely automate that so that you don't have to sit there and babysit it. I'm sure they'll keep getting better and better and better. They just came out with a huge update like two days before, you know, this class started. And so there's a lot of new things that are pretty cool that I've been playing around with that are making it. Making it better and stronger, so. Well, anyway, guys, that's awesome. Any questions? Any questions from either yesterday or maybe things that you're running into as you're exploring more with replit?
So you had mentioned that you're going to. Oh, sorry, go ahead.
We'll go ahead us.
Okay. You had mentioned because I think I'm working on one screen, so I was not seeing a lot of the. With replit itself specifically utilizing kind of doing more of the. The back end stuff. You were kind of going through a couple things I was working on on mine, and so I missed a few things. Steps that you were taking. So is that something. We will be able to see that recording just so we can kind of walk through again with just watching you do it?
Yeah, I'll give you the recording right now. I send it out in a. In an email at the very end. But right now, here is yesterday's. I've already uploaded it. Okay.
Okay, perfect.
You know, feel free to review that, you know, whenever. But you know, you can skip forward to the end when I was talking about that stuff or bounce around here. So. Yeah, no, the back end stuff, we're going to be doing more in that today. Okay. Just so that you understand a little bit better, make sure you have a database set up. Make sure. You understand how to connect some APIs. We're going to be doing some APIs today, which should be pretty fun. APIs are really pretty simple, right? We did. You watched me at least. You know, you might have watched a little bit of setting up Mapbox yesterday, just copying that key in and getting that working. So, yeah, we'll be working on that today. We'll be working on. I'm gonna, I'm gonna show a few fun platforms. We're gonna talk about. We'll end the course today. Similar, similar to how we did yesterday. Kind of taking our AI thinking forward a little. Another. Another step, another big step, and how we can make sure that we're setting up our businesses, you know, maybe the new ones that we're doing or our existing ones to, you know, to, to manage this, this change. You know, after the call yesterday, I had a call with a good friend of mine that for those of you that are in, in Utah, if you've ever been to Bam Bam's Barbecue. So he opened that. He founded that. And, and Spudly Donuts is another thing he does. And he's not. He's actually like a tech entrepreneur, but then on the side he, like, he likes to open these restaurants. He has people run him. Really smart guy. And he just sold his company, actually, and he hasn't even announced it yet. But he. In the, in the transition, the person that bought him said, hey, you know what? I'm big time on AI. And they, you know, work together and they figured out, out of the nine developers that they had on staff, they let seven of them go, right? And those two other ones, the two senior ones, the CTO and the VP are like, hey, we're going to just. Yeah, we think we can do this. This whole thing with AI, right? So that's. That's a big thing, right? That's a big change in the world when, when people are letting seven out of nine people go and it's going to keep accelerating. We're just at the beginning. Guys like you ain't seen nothing yet. That's going to be crazy. So, all right, with that said, let's see if we can figure out how to understand AI and make it work for us. So today we're going to do some fun things. We're going to kick it off with a platform called Manus. Anybody here heard of Manus? Yes, man is very cool. And we're going to open it up in a Here I don't want app. I want. I just want. I am going to Open up an incognito here so we can see there homepage here. Manus guys is like replit for anything, right? Replit is an agentic chain of thought reasoning system. Right. Like we talked about yesterday, it, you know, you give it a task and then it figures out all these subtasks that it needs to do and then it makes it happen. And one of the cool things that it does is when you, when you do something in it and you give it a task, they have a replay button. And so people have shared a lot of the things that they've done. Right? So here's an example of, you know, list of YC companies. Let's see if we can find Boostly on here. Right? But, but yeah, Visit the official YC website and compile all enterprise information under the W25. So it wouldn't have a B2B tag into a clear, well structured table. Be sure to find all of it. Okay, so it just goes through and obviously, you know, you could do this on your own, you could do this manually, but you know, it goes through, it figures out exactly what it needs to do and we're going to skip through the results because it plays them all right. But boom, here you go. Now you've got location description, you know, categories, you know, what are all the, what are all the companies? You could then say, hey, find me a website and find me contact information for everything. And you could go take that a step farther. So that's a pretty simple one. Okay, check out this one right here. Brand identity design. So this is our company website, techcrunch.com based on its design style and visual language. Please create a set of icons that we can use in PowerPoint presentations. The icon should be rich, appealing, and maintain a consistent design language with our site. Okay, guys, this is something you would at a minimum have to jump on Fiverr to get someone to do or like pay your, your graphic designer a few thousand bucks of time, whatever. And so it comes up with a zip file. This is your thing. I've downloaded it before because I've looked at this one, TechCrunch PowerPoint icons. And here they are. Right? Let's switch this to a nice icon view so we can see them a little bit. But yeah, boom, it created icons for us. Done. You give it a task to do. Anything you can imagine, right? And it did it all based off of. If you know TechCrunch, you're like, oh yeah, this is TechCrunch's style, right? Kind of retro, techy, green, right? This is what they do. Okay, Boom. Now all of a sudden got that going. Go ahead, Shane.
Does it like connect different things together? Where like if you're asking it to, hey, go and create a PowerPoint sleaze presentation or do it in Google Slides or update this, this spreadsheet with information that you find here. Can it do that across different tools?
Absolutely. It can do almost anything you can imagine. Like you just. If, if you could give the task to an employee, you can probably give it to manuscript, right? And this madness cost $39 a month. You guys do not need to go buy it right now. If you want to, you can. I do have, for those of you that are interested, I do have some credits, right? Some 500. You get 500 credits, which is a few tasks for free, right? I can send you that code. If you're interested, just tell me and I'll give it to you. Right. If you are interested, you could send a chat right now in the, in the chat and I can just copy these and paste them while we're working on something else. Okay, but let me show you a couple of things I've done. Actually, you know what, let's look at a couple other, a couple other little things here. There's actually a few, a few other examples that I think are worth looking at. Yeah. Online store operation analysis, right? So here's last month's sales data from an Amazon store. Could you analyze it thoroughly with visualizations and recommend specific data driven strategies to boost next month's sales by 10%? Super cool. So we're analyzing a fairly complex document. You can look at the document here. One of the cool things is it shows you all the documents and the inputs and the outputs and everything they do, right? Amazon fees, coupon discount, shipping, gross sales, all those different things and then boom. Hey, here's your executive summary. Here's the methodology we used. Here's your performance overview, your weekly performance trends, all of this cool stuff, right? Big long document. Here's the expected results. Here's how you're going to implement this. Here's how you're going to improve. And, and then you could see, you know, all the different graphs and things that go alongside of it. Key insights. You can view all the files in this task. Here's everything that it produced here, right? So, so incredible. It backs everything up and you can follow it up with more, with more questions. It's fun.
Is Manus like, oh, sorry, go ahead, Nora.
And then, and then we'll.
So I had seen. So that Excel sheet was Specific to Amazon. So if I were to upload my specific Amazon results to this website, it'll help me manage my Amazon website or.
It will help you decipher your data. Right? And it doesn't matter what format it's in. Right? You can give it any format of anything and then it will take time to understand it, process it, and then act as your business partner. I mean, that's really what AI can do now. It is as smart or smarter than all of us combined and can do things at a speed that we could never hope to do. Right? And so use it as your boss, use it as your partner, use it as your employee. Use it however you want, right? You say, hey, teach me how to do this. How can I get better? Right? You know, let it do the work. Anything you can imagine, you can ask an AI and it will guide you through whatever process you're doing there. Right? This is a really impressive one just because I know this requires a lot of tools that you have to be able to do this audio engineering. Right? Help me design a sound effect with birds chirping mixed with the sound of steam lasting around three seconds. That's crazy. Number one, they didn't provide anything to has to go find it, download those pieces and then mix it with steam. And so it has to be able to open up some sort of tool to manipulate audio and all of these things. Right? I mean, this is crazy. This is crazy for real. Okay, so saved it, delivered it, let's listen to it. It's kind of hard to hear the through through this, right? But, but I heard, you know, you heard the steam and I heard the birds chirping in there. And so you guys can go to Manus. I am. And try this out yourself. I'll show one other audio one because I think it's pretty cool. Podcast editing. Podcast editing takes forever, right? You do a big podcast, but then it says, hey, I want a two minute highlight reel of these things. And so here's the full, here's the full audio. The full audio here is how long? 15, 16 minutes. Right. And so welcome back, everyone. We're diving into Mark Crush. Yeah, pretty cool. So you could listen to that. Whatever. We'll skip to the results here and then we'll listen to its little highlight. Or we can see that it's two minutes. Right? Here's the highlight reel. Transcript From Deep Seq AI they've got this new model, DeepSeek R1 and its predecessor, Deep Seq R10. These models are fascinating. They completely change how we Think about by the way, I know it because I recognize the voices. Those are fake voices that you can use to create a podcast about any subject. And it will have these two people talking back and forth about it and you'll be like, oh my gosh, like you need to have it. Do it about your. About your company, right? Hey, do it. Do a podcast on. Do a 20 minute podcast on Boostly and it will go research it, figure it out and then do this podcast where you're like, wow, this is like really good. This is what I would say, you know, and then you can use that content however you want. We'll do some audio stuff today, maybe tomorrow.
But real quick question, John, on the. Regarding you brought up that Gronk is more real time, like up to date, where ChatGPT ends up being a little bit outdated. Not outdated, but just, you know, a.
Little bit behind the data they're pulling is about a year old. Yeah, totally. Yeah.
Is. How's Mantis? Is that. Because that brought up like 2025Amazon report. Is. Is it just what we were putting into it? Is that what it's going to generate?
Report was fed to it, right? Someone attached that doc to it. But it. Manus is actually, it's searching the web live for you.
Okay.
It's on the web. It's there. And by the way, chat GPT, if you use their 4O model without using the web, it is about a year outdated. But you can ask it to do like ChatGPT does have the research mode, right? So if you go into Chat GPT and you click search, Search the web, you just activate that toggle right there and then, hey, Shador Sanders or Davis, you know, whatever you want to look at, right? Or deep research, then you can, you can certainly have ChatGPT start to use more relevant data. But you know, I asked it to, yeah, I was asking it, trying to ask about some movies and things like that. I was like, what movies are coming out this month? And I didn't have the, the web search thing enabled in a jet in a GPT that I created and it couldn't figure it out. It could only pull movies from last maybe. So yeah, I mean good, good question though. Understanding those, those limitations are interesting. So here's a cool one. I asked it to write an inspiring biography about me, right? Just to be like, hey, I wonder, I wonder what it will find, what it will figure out and whether or not it can understand what I'm doing. And I gave it this paragraph. This is two, three sentences, right? A 2000 word article, which is like a substantial magazine article. Like that's a pretty good, a pretty good length. And so it goes out and about 15 minutes later it comes back and it's built not only the article, but built me a website about me, right? And it's got my entrepreneurial journey, AI music, writing, personal life, you know, whatever. And if you read through it, it reads very well. Everything about it is accurate because it pulled from real sources. There's nothing in here. I was like, oh yeah, I made that up. Like it didn't hallucinate anything. It got it all right. And at the very end it threw in my LinkedIn, my personal site, my John Cheney.com whatever in Gen Aipi without me even asking it to do this. I've just made this website and said, yeah, here you go, here's this. Now I can share this link with anybody if I wanted to. Now it's. I don't know if I actually use this. I actually haven't shared it with anybody other than right now. But it's cool. I'm just testing out its capability. This is how I learn is I just play with stuff. Now here's the craziest thing that I did with it. So I asked. Well, first I tried building in replit. I. So my. Anybody here ever done anything in construction? Anybody? Oz you have? Yeah, a little bit. I haven't a lot. So I, you know, I had to learn a little bit. But you know, most of you know that a construction typically there's, there's a bidding process to get the job, right? And that bidding process is pretty difficult, right? It takes like, you get these, you get these crazy. See if I have this here. Yeah, you get these, you get these crazy documents that have, you know, they're 75 pages long, right? And we distilled this one down to just a few. But, but you look at these, you know, really, really complex diagrams and you know, you have to then figure out, okay, well, based on these diagrams, how much cement are we going to need and how many linear feet do we have of this and how thick is it going to be and how much do we need here, right. To be able to figure out how much materials and how much work and all that stuff. And it can take about 20 hours to do what's called a takeoff, right. Where you're looking at construction plans, complex construction plans, and then putting together all the numbers and then putting together the bid and then you submit that bid to, you know, Payson City in this case, right? And then you might not get the job, right? And so you've spent 20 hours doing something, working on something, and like thinking through it and pouring your heart and soul into it for three days and then you might not get anything out of it. And so it's a huge, huge time sucker for construction companies. And so I said, I wonder if Manus could do this for us, right? So I dropped it into Manus and I said, go right? And it was not able to do it right. The first time I did it, it was not able to do it. And I tried it in a couple other things. I tried it in an advanced chat cbt, I tried it with Grok, I tried it with Anthropic, I tried it with a few different things and it could not get it right. Okay? It came back and all of the results were just way like, like it was hallucinating, but it really just wasn't able to measure right. And so I changed it. I then, I then came in and did this prompt right here. I said, okay, so here are attached three pages, right, that have these construction plans. The other four documents attached were created through a standard and thorough construction takeoff and was done by humans manually. This process is highly complex and time consuming. I want you to build a piece of software that can do this automatically. That would allow me to just upload the plans and pull out exactly the information provided in the format provided or something similar. You'll need to create measurement tools that you then test against the plans and see if you are getting the same numbers as the actual ones provided. Keep testing and iterating until you have a working product. So it took Manus about three hours to figure this out. And it would go in and would iterate and test and would come back and say, hey, you know what, I'm wrong. I got to try again. See, the first time it came back it said, hey, current measurements are showing large differences from the manual takeoff values, right? 90% difference. 96, 99. I'll now focus on improving the accuracy by enhancing the scale detection and figuring all this stuff out. It went in and it figured it out. Then the end thing that it gave me was a bunch of PYs, which stands for Python. These are Python scripts and basically little mini programs. And so it gave me all these little Python scripts and says, okay, not only do I have that, here is the user guide for it, right? So here is how you use all of these Python scripts and what you're supposed to do with it. So then I took all of these documents, the user guide, the Python everything. And I dropped it into Replit and I said, replit, take all of this and put it into an interface that we can then. That we can use here, right? And let's get forward to the end here and we'll go.
Apps.
Wait for it. What is it called? Plan Measure. Right here. This about a month ago. But. But what Replit did is because all those Python scripts, I can't use those inside of Manus, right? I don't know how to put all those together and use them. It's really complicated. So I said, I need an interface or a UI in order to run all this, you know, more smoothly and, you know, in a way that I will be able to do it. Right. And so it then put together this website that puts all of it. Well, it should help it put together. It's not. Looks like it's not showing up. There we go. Here it is. So, yeah, now you get your project management, you create a new project, then you upload the PDF, then you do the scale calibration, right? Where you go and you say, all right, you know, because it has all these scales on all of those different pages, then the measurement tools will automatically do it. Or, sorry, you calibrate a couple tools. It takes about 10 minutes to set this up for a takeoff, then it does it and then exports the results. And so now in about 20 to 30 minutes, you can do what used to take 20 hours, right. With this tool that was created with a grand total of work by me with just prompting, probably about eight hours. Right. I had to do some tweaking and testing and whatever and just to make sure it worked right. But my neighbor who's, you know, owns a construction company, came over, he's like, hey, what can we do with AI? Was like, well, what are your biggest problems? And he said, this is my biggest problem. And so I said, great, let's figure it out. Okay. Pretty cool. Yeah, go ahead, Shane.
So Manuscript, this program at.
At which.
At which point you dropped it into Replit to create the user interface. What are other, like, examples of moments when you would take outcomes from a system like Manus and try and turn that into. And bring that over to replay. Is that specifically when you're looking to turn something into an app experience?
Yeah, it's when I'm wanting to take something that they've created. Like maybe they create a bunch of, you know, or even like, think about the game you made yesterday with Grok or with whatever you use, right? You create this cool game and then you're like, hey, I want to share this with my friends. Well, I can't really do it with Grok because I can't deploy it, I can't publish it, I can't make it host somewhere, right? And so repl it. You can just say, hey, grab this, make a quick interface. You could take one of those Grok games that we made and it would be done in five minutes in Manus and you'd have a little interface and a website that's deployable that you could then share with people. So that's why I'm going to do that is I'm going to, I'm going to create some sort of tool that I then need to use and then obviously if I need to put it or integrate it into, you know, maybe my existing software, then yeah, maybe I'm, I'm going to take it from Grok, I'm going to drop it into, into replit, let it kind of put it together and then I'll just kick it out to GitHub, I'll just export it to GitHub and then I've got all the code and I can hand it to my developer to then integrate however I want, right? Yeah, good question. All right guys, any questions about Manus? That's really all we need to show here. We're not going to use it in this class. But, but this class is about learning AI and how to, how to build a business. And there are amazing things that you can do in here that, that it madness right now is the most powerful agentic system where you can give it a huge amount of things. Like one of the things I'm going to do, I'll give you another example. I have this document right here that has every recording of every cohort I've taught so far. You guys are Cohort 11, right? And each of these is three to four hours long and has huge amounts of words, right? But what I want to do is I want to create like a really in depth guide of everything that I've done step by step, you know, pull highlights out of these things, right? Video clips that I can throw up somewhere, things like that. So I can, I could just take this list, this whole list of, you know, dozens of hours of classes and then just copy it into Manus and say, hey, I want you to get transcripts of all of these, export them, export each cohort into, you know, three documents, session one, two and three, and you know, label them properly, put them in folders neatly, and then I want you to, you know, summarize each cohort step by step, in depth, summaries of everything of how to build a business in three days according to all of these, synthesize all this data. For a human to do that would take a minimum, probably hundred to 150 hours, right? And for me to do that with Manus would take me all of five minutes of building a nice prompt. I'd probably give it a pretty decent prompt, right. And then, and then it would take Manus probably. I would guess this is a task that would take Manus probably two or three hours to do, right? And then it'd be done. But I wouldn't have to watch it or babysit it. I just come back and be like, great, here's all of my outputs, here's everything that I've taught, everything that I've done. Here's all my tools that I use. Here's all the questions and answers that were asked. You know, here are places where people are getting stuck, you know, whatever questions I have to ask about all the content. Manus could synthesize all that and put it together in an amazing guide. So sky's the limit with AI, right? And Manus is an amazing tool that can help you combine lots of really cool stuff together. And yeah, it's pretty awesome. I'm going to show one other platform here right now. John, just quick question before you move on about Manus. So I'm not sure if you covered this, but if Manus is so pro. I mean, menace seems like a quantum leap even from Chat GPT and GROK to me. It seems like it's doing, it's basically like automating a lot of human tasks too. Like why, if, if this is, if this is so advanced, why would I, why would I use Chat GPT and Grok couldn't manage do everything that they could do and more. Yes, but it's not going to have a conversation with you in the same way. It's really built. This is built to complete tasks. ChatGPT is built to have a conversation with you. Right. So especially if you're trying to do, you know, that, that interview style thing yesterday, Right. You wouldn't be able to do that with Manus. That's of. Pull data out of your head, out of your brain and, you know, build strategies with you and things like that. Now what you could do though is you could copy all of the data from your conversation, your, your interview and, you know, the entire thing and just drop it into Manus and, and say, hey, I want you to do more research. On this. And then I want you to put together, you know, a really solid strategy guide. I want you to put together, you know, a 70 page business plan that had to think through the marketing and you know, short term, medium term, long term sales plan. I want you to write the articles of incorporation for me and I want you to write out, you know, my, my, all the legal documents I need for hiring people for this business. You know, you could have it just do everything, build a business package for you and you'll pay a total of, I don't know, seven or eight dollars in credits to do all of that work. Right. So it's, it's going to do things for you now. Manus. Duh. Want Manus API? I don't think there's an API yet. Yeah, not quite yet. It's not quite there, but it'll be there soon. This is not the right Manus. That's a different Manus. Right Manas? I am API. Yeah, they just don't have it yet. And that's okay. That's okay. But eventually you'll be able to hook this. One of the things we're going to work on today a little bit is we're going to learn about hooking systems together through APIs and then just using things like Zap app here and stuff like that. Right. How would we build automated processes and things that can just think for us and do things. So but anyway, eventually you'll be able to do that. Right now you got to tie it together manually. Operator Seen Transcendence, John? I've heard of Transcendence. Remind me what it is. It's a movie where a guy, it's basically kind of future thinking. He becomes his mind. He's a genius, he's about to die. Never loads his mind to the cloud. I think you would get a kick out of this. I know I should watch it now. Now the AI is all, you know, so, so, you know, I went and watched what's it called, the robot iRobot1. I watched that again recently and I watched it with a different eye for sure. It's, it's fun to watch AI movies now. But yeah, no, I've, I've absolutely heard of this. Johnny Depp's obviously amazing. So yeah, very cool. All right guys. Operator.chat GPT.com this is only comes with the pro version of ChatGPT, which is $200 a month. I pay $200 a month for it because I use, I use ChatGPT a lot and I like some of the. You Know, the more, I don't know, the bigger versions of, of models and things like that that are available. But Operator is still in what's called preview mode, which means it's not fully done. Operator opens up a whole nother. You know, it's kind of, you know, Manus obviously is doing a lot of crazy stuff, but Operator allows, allows you to ask it to do tasks for you, man. It's, can't quite do this yet. So maybe you say, hey, you know what, you know, reserve me two tickets here or book a flight for me. You know, find a, find a four star review and book it for me. Right? I am flexible and I need something revert. Reserve a convertible in Miami for under $60 a day this Friday through Sunday. Right? You can have it do all kinds of different things for you, you know, or you can just say, hey, you know what? Buy me, buy me four tickets to the new Mission Impossible movie for this Friday night at any theater within 10. Yeah, let's say 20 minutes of Payson Utah. Boom. Right? And so what it's going to do is it's actually going to open up a browser that I can watch. Now this browser has its own unique secure authentication and so you can actually log in. Like if you log into Delta or log into Facebook or whatever, it will remember your login. It will just keep you logged in. It's like it's your own personal laptop, right? You open it up and you're just logged in. Right. And so you can do that, it will remember all those cookies and keep everything and keep you all in your session. And so it's looking around. It's fine at the Finding the theater. It's going to look for the Mission Impossible. It's not seeing it today. I said Friday, so it should. Okay, it clicked on Saturday. I don't know why it clicked on Saturday. But anyway, it should be able to figure this out. I've seen it do pretty well with. And maybe it wasn't even just maybe, maybe the movie just wasn't at that theater. But it's literally what it's doing is it's parsing the screen, reading everything and okay, cinematics, Jesse. Namely, no, don't ask me any more questions until you're ready to check out. And you can give it instructions like that and just say, figure this out, man. And then, you know, this is not something, guys, I want it to be clear. This is not something where you're going to sit here and watch it do it. You're going to say, do this and I'm going to go do something else. Right? You're going to go to another browser and you're going to go figure that out. Okay. And so but what it's doing is it's parsing the screen. It's looking at the screen and figuring out what, you know, what are all the different elements on the screen. And then where should I click? And then it can type for me. It figured out my zip code is 84651, right? That is correct. So now it's going to search and it's going to find the Cinemarks, you know, Spanish for and xd. That's going to be the right one to do within I said 20 minutes. So obviously several of those would work. The new emission impossible right there it's seeing that it's finding it, but it's literally clicking things and typing things and acting like a human on my behalf. Right. So Delta, for example, doesn't have any AI powered anything, but maybe for some reason you need to integrate purchasing a Delta ticket into a solution you're making or you just want it to do it for you. Well, operator can do it, right? You API operator into this. It's going to come in here, it's going to find some seats. Warning, not a seat. Continuous selection. Did it just snag me a no. Okay, it looks like it's grabbing another one here. 1, 2, 3, 4. Although it is buying D box tickets and I don't want that because I don't want my seats to be shaking while I'm watching the movie. Has anyone ever tried that? Anyone ever tried one of the D box seats? I haven't. I'm always like, no, I just want to sit and watch the movie. But you know, whatever.
Can I ask a case question?
Yeah, go ahead, Shane.
So in our company, when we have like our customer success managers do this manual task once a month they go into about 100 different customer for 100 different customers. They go and log in to their point of sale and down like navigate to a certain section and download a Excel file that we then upload into our system. Is that, would this be the right tool to go and say, hey, let's provide a list of login credentials and give it the instructions on what to do and where to go and to download those files and then just drop them in and run. Run with that?
Yeah, so absolutely it would. It's. I think this is fantastic. So watch this. So I can take control at any time, right? And so I could come in here and I could say, all Right, let's log into drive.google.com and so I can go here. I just have a browser, right? And it remembers John@Echozap. That was my Echo Zapp that I was working on previously, right? It remembers that I logged in here at one point and maybe I'll switch that out. But the point is I can now log into this right here. And now I'm logged in on, you know, Boostly, for example, right? Hey, here's a folder. Okay, I've opened the folder. Here is a list, and here. And then. And then you have, you know, maybe open up an Excel document or something, right? Where. Where you just come in here and you say, okay, here's a Google Sheets document. Here is all the login information in this. I need you to go through on each one, right? Start at the top, then go to the next one, then go to the next one, then go to the next one. I need you to log into every single one, download the file, and put it into, you know, this folder right here, right? Called, you know, 5 20, 2025 or whatever, right? Boom. Give it that instruction and then come back a couple hours later and it will be done.
And is. And so this is. This is something that we're like, Operator can do this. Is this also something that Manus could also do if you provide it that type of instruction?
I have never tried to provide credentials to Manus. I don't know if it can do that. I don't know how it controls the computer or if it's parsing and clicking and things like that. One of the cool things about Operator is Operator can get around like a captcha, right? Because it can read, see, analyze, and click, right? And so I'm not sure exactly how. I don't know if Manus is doing everything with commands or if it is actually clicking to do things, right? So definitely something worth exploring. I bet a quick Google search or a Chat GPT search could help you figure that out. And testing. Play with it. Play with Manus, Play with, Play with Operator. Whatever. Now, what's something else you could do here, guys? What if we went like this?
So have Chat GPT run Man or Replit for you and work together.
Or. Or just say, hey, build me an app. Get it all the way to this point. Don't ask me any questions until it's done, right? Because it can click and it can use this interface to do things. So again, layering two AIs on top of each other, right? The way that you would do this, it's super easy. Right. I'm going to finish up here and. And then so let's exit the chat. So I'm going to say new chat. I didn't want to do that. Let's go back. Go back. Message operator. Okay, I'm done with the movies. Please build me an app with replit already open. And let's see here. Yeah, already open in the open tab. Let's see here. Let's give it a little task here. Build a weather app with react native. Don't. We'll just say with react, don't ask me any questions until the app is running with a database. You will have to wait for long periods while replit works. Don't ask me anything during these. I don't want to take control of anything or answer any questions until you have a working app. Every time you do something, I want you to log what you did very briefly in the open. Google tab. Boom. Okay, so let's see what happens here. Now it's going to create the new react project and it's going to log the steps. Shane, I did this for you to see if it can figure out what I'm going to be doing here. I asked it to log its steps in the open spreadsheet. I'm having to go between tabs, do things. I'm going to do this, I'm going to log it. I'm going to do this, I'm going to log it. It's creating a title React JavaScript Create app and it's just getting started. Super cool. Now it clicks over to the spreadsheet. And I told it, I don't want you to talk to me. Maybe you have to. Maybe you have to enable the. Wonder if I can say something to it. Click install on that. Oh, well, it keeps popping up. I think I can save this to it while it's in the middle of things. It got stuck for a second, but I want to see if I can just kind of get it started and then we can go on to something else and we'll just come check on it every once in a while. I don't know why it needs an inst or whatever to be able to copy and paste something. Why can't it paste? It is really struggling to paste. It should not struggle to paste. I definitely had it do that before re entering data in cell A1. Hold on. What I'm going to do is. Oh, it figured it out. It figured out how to do it. Now what it didn't do is actually start the replit experience to have ReKit. Build the app itself. Use the agent in ReKit instead of the assistant at the agent built the whole thing. All right, we'll come back to that. But that's really fun, guys. To just sit there like, this is how I learn is I just try. I just try things out, right? And I. And I do it a lot, right? I'll go and I'll follow things and I'll find things and I'll play with it. Okay. All right, let's jump into. Let's jump back into replit here. I'm going to open my project back up that I was working on yesterday. Memory Mapper, I think it's what it called it.
All right.
We're still having problems with mapbox integration. Maps. Mapbox isn't looking or it's not. It's not working correctly. So that's okay. Let's go back to Echo's app and we're going to just go to mapbox. I want the. I want to get the map box API working because I want you guys to see how this. How this works, right? So I'm going to go to my.
Account.
And it asked me to go into. Let's hear. Is it tokens? Yeah. Here's my default token. I should be able to copy this. I don't even know if it's the same, but let's continue this. Continue replace account secret. Okay, let's see if that works. Okay, so I might have copied the wrong thing, which. Which happens sometimes. But, yeah, grabbing that access token is typically what happens. I just uploaded a new token and it should work now. It's wanting to switch to something else. Map is not loading properly. Try this. Understand. Try a different approach. Okay, it should work now. Come on. Listen to me. There we go. Use the generic dark theme. The code. Great. All right, let's see if we can figure this out. Okay, so APIs, guys usually take a little bit of just kind of playing with it. Hey, look, we've got a map here. You can see a map now. That's cool. It's kind of dark. It's a dark, dark theme, but it's there. So now it's working. Now, I don't love. I don't love this. This ui. The layout is kind of too big. So we're gonna. We're gonna take a screenshot of this so that it knows what it's looking at. The select. Actually, here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna select this and say this whole section here. There. There is a lot of Wasted space here that is getting in the way of the map. See the screenshot? Yeah, see the screenshot? Okay, so it's going to then, you know, modify this and then take it to the next thing. So here, what I'm doing now, guys, to remind you is I'm acting as my own customer, right? I'm acting as my user that I'm trying to do most of the time. People are building for themselves, right? So you should know as a user what you want. Hey, when I click this, does something happen? When I click this, does something happen? Can I explore echoes now? There's no data there yet, and so we need to make sure that gets going. The way that we do that is we'll obviously have to create some. Some echoes to come in here and say, hey, can we do this search or pin on map? Okay, what if I click. If I click this little pin, does that take me to the map? Let's see here. Let's go back to the map. Yep. Still not. Still not doing anything. And I can barely see the map. I don't want the dark. I don't want the dark. But I guess it's trying to follow that, that thing. The map is really hard to see because it is dark. Is there a light theme? Also? The entire bottom half of the screen is taken up by wasted empty space. Don't just try and make it transparent. Make the UI better. Redesign if needed. Okay, so again, I'm talking to IT guys, just like I would talk to a developer. I'm just saying, here's what I want, here's what I don't like. I can't see this. Here's my experience, here's how I wish it was a little bit better. Okay, so when working with replit, we're gonna. We're gonna dive into a. Into a document here that's called Mastering replit. Right? Which is just basically, you know, things that. That we do to make replit work better for us. Okay. One of the things that we did, what is the readme MD file and the progress MD file, right? And then we added some extra ones, right? And then, you know, you please use the attached business plan, which is great. But then every time you're starting a new chat, you want to say, hey, make sure you read these files so that you know what's going on with the apps. You know what's happening every time. This is an interesting thing you need to know. You can click new chat, right? You can't create a new chat while you're in the middle of one what's in the middle of doing something. But as soon as it's done, you can say, hey, I want a new agent chat. When you click new chat, it's like you just hired a brand new developer and that new developer has to then go and figure out what you're doing. Right? And you know, usually there's a lot of documentation and that, you know, you can go into the code base, you can start to look through. An experienced developer knows what they're doing pretty quick, right? But they still don't know exactly. Right. And so by referencing this nice readme file that we made, right? Remember, you guys all made this readme file. Got this progress file that shows, hey, here are the things that have been created. You've got this nice little checkbox, all these things. If you guys use the prompt that I did yesterday, I don't know if you went and looked at these files, but you can look at yours at your own and see the progress. You can see the user journey guide. Right here's the Persona. And then I've got my branding guide here. Right here are the, are the things that we want to do. Now. One of the things that they have not done is listened to the color guide, the color palette, right? And so I'm going to come in here. It's working on, you know, designing everything. I'm actually going to say this right now. You haven't been following the branding guide. Md, please do this from now on. Please review it now and modify whatever you need to order to listen to the guide. Hey, it did, it did rebrand this. So that's kind of cool. Explore Echoes. I now have this. Yeah, unfortunately, they got this little thing sitting here. It is lighter, although it feels like it's cloudy like in the whole world. So don't love that. Let's try this. Also, the mapbox integration looks like it's cloudy everywhere. It needs to be color. Let's give it a screenshot. Okay. And have it do this and we'll go back to the replit tips and tricks. We're going to start building this out. Okay. So I've told it to now reference one of those empty files so it just stays in line. You know, do what I've already planned. And this is an awesome tool right here. Okay. Ask the AI to plan before coding. Please create a plan to build this feature. Don't write any code yet. Just outline the steps and I will prove before proceeding. Okay. This allows you to talk to your AI. This AI has a prompt. It is trained to act. It is an overeager employee. It wants to get to work right now without, you know, figuring everything out that you want. And so if you give it a great prompt, fantastic, right? But sometimes you need to say, okay, this is a new feature. And I feel like this is going to be a little bit complex. I want to make sure you get it right. Here's what I want. What do you think is the best way to do this? Don't write any code. Just tell me. Okay? Don't write any code. Just tell me. I use that so often, especially once my app is further along, because I don't want it to break anything. And sometimes it'll go in and just kind of try to redesign a whole system and I'm just like, all right, tell me what you're going to do. Okay, great. Do this. Don't touch anything else. That's another one here. Do not modify anything except the front end layout in the login page. Don't change how we're doing the login. Don't go build a secondary login system. Don't go build a fallback system. Don't build a whole test environment. No, it will try to do all those things, right? You got to just be very specific. Hey, do this. Only do this and then report back, right? Hey, I want to build this. Tell me the plan. Great. Do this. And. And don't, you know, don't do anything until it is finished. Okay, so now it's gonna. Now do you find. Do you find that it does a much better if you just like, for example, if you gave it the same prompt, you know, great prompt, and one, you said don't code planet first. Just by saying that, does it do.
A much better job of actually planning.
Through and thinking through it versus just yes, going into it? Okay, absolutely. So just by asking it to plan, it's like it's just going to give a little more thought even if the problem is the same. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. How would you do this? Okay, great. It will also sometimes give you options, right? It'll say, hey, I could do it either this way or this way. And then you can ask it. Well, I'm not really sure. What do you think is the most efficient way to do this? Right. So here's the next one. Right. Is there a simpler way to implement this? Consider efficiency and speed. Right? You know, is this a best practice? Right. If an experienced programmer were to look at this, would they be impressed at this approach? Right. You know, ask it questions like that, and then you just can get it thinking a little bit differently. It's, it's fun how you can, how you can kind of, how you can kind of make it do that. One of the things that I've gained access to just recently go to the Facebook page here, Build a business with AI. You guys will all get access to this. Technically you're supposed to get it at the end of the end of the course, but here you go. This is to everyone join this Facebook group. Just request. So it has 50 members right now. So out of the people that have, you know, have taken this course, about 50 people have joined at this point. And this is a great place to ask questions. Hey, I'm running to this. I did this. I'm sharing this. Here's this new app that I built, you know, and people can, you know, you can, you can get feedback and so it's just a good place. We're building a little community here of people that, that are trying to do what we're doing, right? So I'll make sure you guys get in. But I, I found this cool little GitHub repository here. And this is the Replit prompt, like for Replit. When you're talking to that agent, this is its prompt, right? And we won't take time to read through the whole thing, but like proactiveness policy, right? Follow the user's instructions, stay on task, you know, don't do these things. Data integrity, you know, make sure you request API keys. Use the internal tools. Use this tool to do this. Here's the workflow guidelines, right? You're an expert autonomous programmer built by a replit working with a special interface, right? This is cool stuff, guys. Reading, reading these types of things. Here's the Manus agent tools and prompt, right? This is what Manus does. Here are your capabilities, right? Here are the tools that you have available. You can read through this stuff. You can ask AI to summarize it for you so that you know exactly what it's doing and how it's doing that we could probably figure out. Shane, whether or not Manus is using, you know, point and click tools or if it's just, you know, running commands to make stuff happen, right? And look out, look how big this is. 250 lines of a prompt here. Really, really cool. And then there's other ones out there, guys. Lovable. Lovable. Lovable.dev, i think it is. Look, ask Lovable to create a landing page for my whatever or build this, right? Lovable is a competitor to replit. I do not like it as much as Replit only because it requires more third party things. And so, for example, doesn't have an internal database that you can use. You have to connect to Supabase. Now that's not very hard if you know what you're doing. Prompt, right? And we won't take time to read through the whole thing, but like proactiveness policy, right? Follow the user's instructions, stay on task. Don't do these things. Data integrity. Make sure you request API keys. Use the internal tools. Use this tool to do this. Here's the workflow, but it's just an extra step. And continue on down the line. There's a lot of different things there. Another one is Bolt. New Bolt also has an incredible thing. How can Bolt help you today? Prompt, run, edit, deploy Full stack Web and mobile apps. Pretty cool, right? This one might be better for building a mobile app. Replit is not great for building a mobile app. Okay. Just FYI. Well, yeah, at least native. Like a native iOS stuff like that. And then you've got cursor. Cursor.com is something where you can take any code that's in like GitHub or something like that, and then just hook Cursor up to it. Then you can just start building using natural language. Right? Add a header for protocol versioning and handlers for multiple versions. You guys don't even know what that means. At least most of you don't write. And it's okay, you don't have to write. Cursor is a little bit more advanced, but I bet all of you by the end of this class could use chat CBT to figure it out, right? There's a lot of people that really, really, really love Cursor, so keep exploring. But this one, this prompt is in that Facebook group. I'll. We'll do the member request right here really quick. We'll approve all of you and confirm. And if you haven't done it yet, do it. I'll preview you guys later again today. Okay, so back to repl it. Let's see what we're doing here. Hey, look, I'm starting to get a pretty dang good product here with just a few prompts and a few tweaks. Look at how good this looks all of a sudden, right? Your life mapped in memory. This is awesome. Create new Echo. All right, the school. Except this thing's in the way. So I'm going to select this. I'm going to say this. This modal is very in the way of the. Of the map. Maybe show it when they first Land on page, see on the map after logging in, but then move. But then, yeah, explore. Echoes is already here and New Echo is already here. So we don't really need to do that. Right? But then just have an X and don't bring it up again. It's only for first time login. Boom. Okay, so I've told it, okay, this needs to be a temporary thing. I need to be able to X out of it and close it so I can see the map. It's in the way of exploring the world, right? And it's kind of making, I think it's making the world look foggy, like, like it's behind this thing. Right. I think it will clear up when it removes, you know, this whole thing here. So let's see what happens. But you can see, guys, I, you know, I couldn't get matte box to work. I gave it the right token. I worked through a couple little things here. I said I don't like the way this looks. I said, I don't like the way this happens. Whatever. And now I have something that's almost workable, right? It's not quite. There's a lot of things I still want to adjust. I don't like the spacing of map here. There's no padding. Like there's lots of space here and that this is kind of pushed up against the edge. You also can use right here, guys, there's a little button that allows you to change the screen, right? So I can say, hey, you know what, what does this look like on an iPhone 14 Pro Max? Okay, now I can X out of this. That's gonna. Okay, now. Now this is gone. The map still looks faded. A little bit faded. Map still looks faded. Is there a semi transparent layer or something like that on top of it? Okay, so I'll go through and I'll just start saying, okay, let's make sure the menu, the bottom menu looks good. And by the way, guys, I said that Replit can't be used to make mobile apps. It can be used to make mobile web apps, what we're doing right now. And then you actually there is a process to be able to move a react app in here and then export it and use it, you know, put it into an iOS, you know, setting and, and get it into Xcode and, and or over into, you know, publishing to the Android store as well. Okay, so when would you choose? When would you choose Replit or Bolt? So I've only at surface levels played with Bolt and Lovable. I've Just tried to dive in. I've spent. And by surface levels, I mean probably a total of three hours per platform. And so for me, I'm just choosing Replit because it's the tool. I know, right? If I need to create a fully, you know, if I want to actually publish an app, I'm probably going to try the Replit one, right? I'm going to probably try Replit. I'm going to just push and use the process to do that. Now there's, I know there's a. I'll just say this so you know that it's there. If you go to YouTube.com and you go to Replit to iOS app, there's a guy, this guy right here will show you how to do that, right? Publish your mobile app with replit and export iOS. Android supported all that stuff, right? So it'll teach you how to do it. It's, you know, there's, there's a few, you know, it's probably 30 minutes and a few steps you'll have to figure out. Also, if you've never published an app before, just know that it's not super easy to publish to the App Store. You have to get approved. You have to have a DUNS number, you have to have an LLC in place and a tax identification number. You have to have a real business to make this happen. It's not hard. It just is going to take you probably two weeks longer than you think because you have to get approved for all those things before you can actually start publishing. But you can get the developer account, you can start building, but before you're actually publishing, you have to, you have to go through those steps. So do that like really quick if you get in there, just FYI. But yeah, there's lots of great tools out there that will help you find, you know, those, those extra things. We won't go over it in this class just because I don't know it very well. Right. And, and that's not really what we're trying to work on here. Okay. Now, it got rid of that semi transparent layer or whatever was going on. It was making it look kind of cloudy. Now we've got a nice clean interface here. It looks pretty good on mobile, I'm going to say this screenshot. The nav menu along the bottom looks good, except that there doesn't seem to be enough padding on the left for the right. Those buttons kind of pushed up against the edge. Okay. Everything I'm saying here, guys, is just like, hey, when I use an app, you Know if I go to instagram.com or if I just look at a screenshot of Instagram. Right? Instagram. Screenshot. Show me a screenshot of Instagram. Right? If I look at this, you know, at the buttons, there's, there's space. That's what I'm used to as a user. There's space around all of these on the edges and it just feels more. Whatever. Okay, great. Hey, can we make it feel like there's more space? Hey, it did it. Boom. All of a sudden I have a pretty decent looking screen here. Now I need to start diving in and look at activity and profile. Hey, look, I clicked on activity. Doesn't work. And I'm not going to probably do notifications first because that's going to be like something that's listening for all kinds of stuff happening. I'm probably going to try the core feature first, which is create a new echo. Right. And so when I come over here, search or pin on map. If I start to search, try Charlotte, North Carolina. Okay, we'll say Whitewater Center. We're going to say this is playful. No, adventurous. Bold. Yeah, I can't. I don't know if I can select that. It doesn't look like I'm selecting it and like maybe it is selected, but when I select it, it's not. It's not staying selected. So I'm going to do this, say story mode. Okay. When I click on one of these buttons, I can't tell that it's been selected. When I hover over one of the buttons, there is an outline. When I click it, it looks like it was unselected. Please.
Fix this.
Make it look better. Make it visually now make it visually obvious that I selected it. Okay. So I'm just trying to figure out how to talk to it about these different things. It, it might add a little thing that just says, all right, checkbox or selected or make a bolder, you know, outline. It's going to make that decision. You could tell it whatever you want, right? Your story, start writing your echo. Add media. I haven't tried to upload media, right? When I upload this media, where's it going to go? Where's this video going to be stored? Right? Because video and things like this can't be stored in the database. This is a postgres SQL database. This is for text only, right. So where's your get storage, Right? Something for videos and images, things like that. So it'll just start building these things out and it will probably take me, you know, an hour, probably an hour to go through. And just to where the new Echo, which is my primary core functionality, I want to create a memory of somewhere I've traveled right before this whole thing works. We got to create a tag system. I guarantee you that doesn't work yet. Yeah, there is an echo tags table, so that's pretty cool, I guess. But how do the tags work? Right. Well, they actually, you know, if I go, you know, you know, kayaking, comma, kayaking. Enter, Enter. Okay. Tag separated by pressing Enter. Hey, that looked pretty cool. It created a tag. Now, I don't. I think that was just visual. I don't think it actually created a tag yet. I'd probably have to submit it. But when I do that, there might be seven errors because, you know, when I fill out all of this different stuff. Right. Okay, so now if I select bold. Hey, look at how. Look at how good that looks now, right? Reflective, cinematic, spiritual. They put a checkbox and selected and made it bolder. We did all the things that I was talking about. Okay, but now this all of a sudden feels way better now. The only thing I don't like about this is this cinematic thing is the same color as the background. And so I need some sort of border, right? That makes it look like that's a card. Right? So just change the cinematic card and I'm good to go. When this is unselected, it looks like. Whoops. Looks like it isn't a card because it's the same. By the way, I will do this too, as the background behind it, period. Please adjust the color a little bit or put a slight border that makes it look like an actual card. I like to use voice. Right? You can do that on your, you know, on your computer. On Mac, you just push F5. It's the microphone button, and you can just start talking to it and then, you know, go way, way faster. Then it's just like I'm talking to my developer. Hey, fix this, do this, whatever. So anyway, there's going to be a subtle, subtle border added to this so that it looks more like a card. So this is the iterative process that I'm taking now as, again, I'm not a designer. I'm not a graphic designer, guys. I am actually quite terrible at it. It's not something I'm good at. I'm great at music. You give me a piano, I will wow you. But I am not great at this piece right here. Yeah, there is a subtle, subtle border now there. It's kind of okay. It's not great. We can make it stronger. We could ask it for some more iterative stuff, but it's just kind of. How do I feel when I look at this? Right. Make the subtle border slightly less subtle. I want to actually be able to see it. This is. The current one is too thin still. Okay. So it knows what I'm talking about. I didn't even have to select it. It just remembers what we were working on and it will keep going. So I'm always going to look at it on desktop view. I'm going to look at it in this view. Maybe I'll look at it on a. On a tab, a tablet or something like that. Yeah, this is the Surface Duo, which I don't use a lot. Galaxy Duo, that's a little bit bigger. Yeah, they all feel, they feel okay. But it is going to build it responsive naturally. But guys building this out, like paying someone else to do this, it would, it would cost so much money. I just, I love. We'll show you how to do that, right? Publish your mobile app with replit and export iOS how fast you can iterate and build something that's really, really cool. Okay, so you're seeing me do a few things. I'm gonna, I'm gonna bounce around here a little bit. One of the things that I do a lot is this utilizing the screenshot debugging trick, right? If an error appears, screenshot it, drop it in the AI chat. Or if I want to, you know, improve, or if I'm trying to say, hey, look, look at this, right? Even if you describe to it, it doesn't know exactly. Even if you select it, it's. It's not seen, it can't see. But it can see. If you give it something, right? It can look at it and be like, oh, yeah, I can see that I can't read this and that, that spacing looks weird and feels weird. And so screenshotting and dropping into the chat allows it to read text errors, help you, help it understand what you mean, all that type of stuff. One of the things I've discovered in being a heavy AI user is it really comes down to being a good leader, right? How many times have you, Shane, or other people that have had, you know, worked with other developers, you tell them to do something or build something and they come back and it's. It's not exactly what you wanted, right? And you're like, no, that's not what I wanted. That's not what I was. That wasn't what was in my head. And you want to, you know, place blame on the developer or the designer or whatever. And really, you're like, you know what? It's my fault. I wasn't clear. Right? I mean, that's really. That's really what it was. I just wasn't clear about what I wanted. Let's be clear now. Let's do this. And now you got to go pay them two more days of salary for them to figure it out and rebuild it. Okay, so be a good leader, right? Being. Being good at prompting AIs is being a good communicator, a good leader. All right, let's bounce back up to here. Detect hidden bugs. Occasionally, it will duplicate or conflicting code. So CSS is the code in your. In, you know, that handles, like, the font style and size and colors and colors and backgrounds. There's a lot of stuff related to kind of formatting and the way that pages look that are called css. I've had it wrap css, so it'll create CSS and then it'll wrap another CSS around it. Now you've got this kind of weird, conflicting code that's talking to each other, and it's trying to figure out what it's doing. And then replit is trying to edit the code, but it's doing the one that's. That's inside of the wrap, and the one that's on the outside is overriding it. And so it thinks it's making the change, but it's not. This doesn't happen a lot, but it definitely happens. If you just ask it, hey, can you check for duplicate or conflicting code that might be causing this issue? Then they'll say, oh, yeah, I found this thing. You're right. There's two things here. I accidentally created a duplicate version. Okay, great. Get rid of the duplicate one. We need one completely. Delete the other one. I want the files out of the system. Only use this one. Okay. Take a step and analyze what you just wrote. Are there any potential issues? These are the types of things I'm asking maybe a little bit later on, or if I'm building a very core feature. So for me, echoes are a core feature. Building an echo is a very core feature. And so I might say, is there anything here that needs to. That needs to be better? Well, that's interesting how those cards change size based on which one is selected. It's because there's two. Two lines here and three lines here. That's kind of interesting. I don't know if I care about it that much, but it's kind of weird. I would probably edit that. I would probably change that a little bit thicker still. Okay. All right, so it's going to fix that while I come back to here, restart the AI. If the UI freezes occasionally, what will happen is this little thing right here, the little thinking and the pause button will just disappear and it will look like this is all frozen. The agent is frozen. What you can do is you can actually just click refresh right in the middle of a step. It will not stop the agent, which is cool. It's not going to stop the agent. It will reset what you were looking at here, but it will not stop the agent over here. All right, let's look at New Echo. All right, now that kind of looks like a card, right? I don't love that this color and this color are the same. So I'm going to tell it that the reflective and spiritual cards are the same color. Give them or change the reflective one to a different color. Also, let's just give the cinematic one a different color that provides more contrast with the background. And then I'm going to give it a picture of this so it knows what I'm talking about. And boom. Okay, back into this. So I spent like two hours, one time, guys, trying to fix the dumbest little issue. So these little icons that are at the top here on browsers, these are called fave icons, right? It's a little browser that, you know, this is my, you know, gen IPI that I. That I built. And that's. That's the. The little logo. And that's great. But I could not get it to show up there, right? I had done it on other apps. I had made it shown up fine, and I could not figure it out. And replit couldn't figure it out, which is the dumber thing, right? And finally I found it. Found the problem, found the problem. The error is the directory name is not defined. That's because we're using esm modules with TypeScript and this is only available with common JS. I was like, how am I supposed to know that? I don't know what an ESM module is or commonjs module or the difference. How am I supposed to identify to know that? I couldn't tell you that. You're supposed to know that. Mr. Developer, I finally figured it out. I asked it this question. I said, basically, hey, are you writing in a different language? Do you think that you're editing something but you're not? Because you say you are, but it's not changing? Are you looking at the wrong spot? Are you doing it in the wrong way? Take a step back and tell me what you think. Right. And so what I did is I copied this and pasted it in to this. To this guide, which you guys will have access to this guide. And, and. And I. I just saved it. And sometimes when I. When it can't figure something out, I've told it 10 times to fix it, and it just doesn't seem to be doing anything. I'll drag this file in, this little. This little image in, and I'll say, this is not from this problem, but is it a problem like this? Right. Can you can take a step back and figure out what's going on? Right. So this one is. Man, that took me forever. It felt so good to finally get it done, but it was like two hours of my life wasted. Let's see here. So here's a big one. Why are you doing this? Sometimes I'll be watching and reading as it's working, and I'll be like, why exactly are you doing that? Right. Okay, now we have different colors on all of these. They're all slightly different. That's cool. These are still pretty similar. So I might have it make something that's even a little bit more contrasted. But I'm gonna probably stop working on that at this point and I'm gonna move to the next thing, wrap my story. I'm gonna try adding a photo. What happens if I click Add photo? Nothing. Okay. Select nothing happens when I try to add a photo here. Okay. Then it's going to say, oh, well, we haven't set that up yet. Let's set that up. Okay. So, yeah, let's go back to here. Occasionally, guys, I will do this. It'll be. It'll be building something. It's usually when I'm debugging, but something isn't working, and it will start saying, well, let me build. Let me build a second version of the app so that we can use that as a test version. And it will, like, duplicate the whole app. And then now you have double of everything. I'd be like, no, undo that. Let's not do that. By the way, to undo. Guys, roll back. You roll back to here. Okay? So if something happens, you know, I just told it this, you know, this. Change the photo button or make it work. Let's add the necessary code. And if it does something that's just, like, crazy, and you're like, dude, that is not what I wanted. Right? That's okay. Just come back and we'll just click roll back to here. And then I'll tell it again. I'll say, don't do this. Or I'll say, tell me what your plan is and let's approve it first. Let's make sure that you're doing the right thing.
Okay, so, John, quick question about that. Because it started doing that on what I was having it build yesterday. It's like, oh, to see if this functionality works, let's build out this whole test demo thing. And only now that you're talking, do I, yeah. Realize the full implication there. Would it be better to go all the way back and restore that, or could you say, hey, just go and delete out this demo test environment? If that question makes sense.
It does. Better to ask it.
Yeah.
It depends on how much work you did after that. I have rolled back three hours of work. Right. Just keep trying and trying and trying. And usually at this point, guys, I can do it pretty well, like turn on, you know, the NBA Finals or something. I'll just be watching. I'll be like, oh, okay, agent, get to work. And then I'm back to the game or whatever. And then, you know, commercial break comes and I'll do a couple things and I'll play with it a little bit, you know, and, you know, but I'll then just roll back and be like, this is not working. We're going to go back on this one now. My map's broken. What happened to my map? What'd you do? See, this is a good. Yeah, this is a good example when I might choose to roll back. Refresh Loading map.
Is it possible to ask Replit to do these manual tests, like go through and fill out. Fill out this as if you're a user and identify where things are broken?
Yeah, absolutely. You can create unit tests, right? You could say, hey, you know what? Because when you're. When you're doing something and Thomas, I'll come back to your question. But when you're doing something that anytime you're building software guys, you have to go through and you have to click on every single button. Right. Retake assessment. What happens? Does this work? Not now. Does that work? Retake assessment. Start the test. Does this load the test properly? Yes. Great. Let's click through the test. Let's try that. Let's go to live courses. View details. Four seats. Schedule reviews. Manage reviews that work. Good. View course page. Okay, perfect. You know, select session date. You have to go through and click everything. This is part of good development before a release. You're going to Go through and do what's called QA or unit tests. And you can absolutely automate those unit tests. Shane, you just tell rep would say, hey, build me a unit test system. And then you could add that maybe into your own admin. Like, I have an admin section that only shows up when I'm logged in, right? And so I can click on this admin and I have cool stuff that I can do here, right. That I can't do otherwise. Right. I can click on course content or live courses. I can look at, you know, reviews and, you know, schedules, and I can add different things here. I can add new content, look at participant data, what's happening here, and so I can bounce through all these things. But if I sign out, that admin is gone, right? So you can add an admin section and then add all kinds of neat tools for yourself in there. Right? And just say, hey, yeah, when I'm logged in as this person or when I'm logged in as an admin, you know, allow me to see this, you know, see this thing. And then create. Create a, an admin system for your users, right? So if I want to go in and go admin and I go to users, I can change this person right here to an admin. Boom. Right? Super cool. All right, so, yeah. So back to your question, Thomas. I don't know what the right answer is. It's probably just your preference if you don't love what it did or if it built this test system you don't want. I actually have a pretty decent test system that it's built inside of. Inside of my Gen API, but that's because I've asked it to test things automatically for me. And so I kind of did it more on purpose instead of having to just kind of go off and do it. It's not going to hurt your app to have the test system there. It's kind of all behind the scenes, and it's not ever touched on the front end when you're, you know, when your users are doing stuff, but, you know, I don't know. Up to you. Okay, just a couple more things here, but explain the logic behind your implementation. Sometimes there. It's kind of all behind the scenes, and it's not ever touched on the front end when you're, you know, when your users are doing stuff, but, you know, I don't know. Up to you. Okay, just a couple more things here, but explain the logic behind your implementation. Sometimes it starts doing something. I'm like, dude, no, that is not what I Asked, right? Like, starts doing something. I'm like, dude, no, that is not what I asked, right? Like, just please listen, okay? Protect the database, especially when you're working with the data, like when you're changing the database, when you're saying, hey, we need to add it. Just please listen, okay? Protect the database, especially when you're working with the data, like when you're changing the database, when you're saying, hey, we need to add a new column, or we need to delete a column or we need to change something or I want you to do this. I want you to. I want you to have this app or this piece of the app, reference this instead of this, right? Say, okay, you can change the way that this works. Do not delete any data, right? Don't do that. You can also just ask it to make a quick backup, right? And it will do that. It'll just throw the file in right here. We'll throw. It'll make a backup of the data and then you can. You can pull it back in if you need to. If somehow that gets messed up, right? Hey, the photos button is starting to look like it. It does something now that's kind of cool. It opened up my file system and then I can, you know, pick an image. I can try to upload it. Okay. Added one photo to your echo. It's cool. Charlotte date May 20th. Test, test one. Now we'll do a space, see if spaces work. We'll call it cinematic. This is a fun event. Tags, Kayaking, Enter. Oh, anybody see a problem? No. Save button.
You can't submit button.
I think the submit button is hidden under the menu. So a new column or we need to delete a column or we need to change something or I want you to do this. I want you to. Anyway, it's just little stuff like this, guys, that it just doesn't think about. It doesn't know. It can't see. It hasn't considered. Oh, yeah, I need a little bit more spacing there. Right? It appears that the nav menu is blocking the save button on the new Echo page. Can't scroll down hard enough to see it. Okay. Or you could just say, I can't see the nav menu. Or, sorry, I can't see the. The. I can't see the save button or the ad. I have no way to save this echo. There's no button for it. Oh, sorry. It looks like it's hidden, right? It's going to fix the layout. Make sure there's proper spacing. I want you to have this app, you know, this piece of the app, reference this instead of this bottom padding to ensure there's plenty of space at the bottom of the form. I've had it create way too much space. So let's see what happens here. But guys, I hope you understand that, you know, the rest of the. Your replit experience is going to be a lot of this, right? You kind of get your idea and then you just start refining it and building it and building it until every single button works. When you are launching a business, a new business, and you're asking someone to put their credit card into your system, what you have to do is not die by a thousand paper cuts, okay? And those paper cuts are, you know, some little thing. Hey, there's looks like we've got some. We've got some padding here now. So now I can see that I can save as drafts or I can publish the echo. So that's pretty cool. So now my next test is to do this. Okay, test one. This is a test. Got the date in. We're going to add a right say. Okay, you can change the way that this works. Do not delete any data. Right photo. It's just a random screenshot. We're going to say kayaking, enter. So I'm testing a bunch of things, by the way, all at once here. I'm testing the tag system, this, all this stuff. I will be shocked if this works. Yeah, there you go. So we've got an error, right? Error. Try creating Echo. This is what I wanted. Okay, up here you can see your dev tools. There's a problem. Okay, you can see what's going on now. You don't know what this is and you can copy and paste this, but now you just have to tell it what you did. Okay, so all we're going to say here is. So this is in the console. That's called the console, guys, by the way, you can see that right here. Okay, so I'm going to say I clicked Publish Echo and I got some errors. Check the console. Boom. Okay, you don't even have to say necessarily check the console. I click Publish Echo. I got some errors. And then it will know what the errors are. Okay, it will look it up. Don't do that. You can also just ask it to make a quick backup, right? And it will do that. It'll just look at. Do that, but you can be very specific. Hey, look at the console. I saw. There's some errors there. So see what's going on. Okay, so it's going to then pull that, look at the server logs to see what happens is what we got. It's a really beautiful system. Revit is a really, really strong system that has a lot of tools in place to help you figure all this out, but you just keep going through until it all works. That, that death by a thousand paper cuts is if you're going through and, and you, you know, you click on something and I know that there's a paper cut in here, right? If I click on categories, the authors don't show up, right? The author information doesn't show up about this blog. That's the only paper cut I know of currently on my website. Actually, there is one other one, but it's hard to see, so it's not a big deal. But if I click on this tag, hey, this works, right? Whatever, that's great. But if I go through and I start here and I'm somebody who doesn't know anything about Gen AIPI and I go through and I'm looking at it, hey, this all looks good, right? Oh, hey, what's this? Full assessment. I'm gonna click on that. Oh, that's pretty cool. Cool. This looks nice. Oh, it looks like they have live courses. That's cool. Let's click on that. View details. And so they're going through. And your brain as just a user, a consumer, a customer is okay. This seems like a legit website. This seems pretty cool, right? I'm gonna, I'm gonna do this. Oh, hey, look, they have a Facebook page. That's cool. Let's see what they've got here. Hey, it works, right? I can look at the page, right? I can click on Instagram. That works, right? But if I click on this and it doesn't go anywhere or it goes to a 404, or I try to do something that doesn't work right, then you might lose that customer because you had too many paper cuts, right? But if I click on all of these things, I go down. I click on the privacy policy, I click on the terms of service. You know, all these little pieces here. It's pretty neat. Pretty neat. Throw the file in right here. We'll throw. It'll make a backup of the data and then you can, you can pull it back in if you need to ask me. All right. Death by a thousand paper cuts is what you don't want to do. I think that's all we need to do in the replit. There's other stuff here. Secrets manager, screenshot, debugging, you know, generate automated unit Tests. There you go, Shane. Boom. The validate form inputs, API responses, stuff like that. Okay. All right. Any. Any more questions about replit? We're going to keep working in replit. Right. But I'm gonna. We're gonna move over to image generation now. We're gonna do some AI image stuff, which is. Fun question for you. Yeah. So you mentioned early on just focusing on the core features first. Right. It sounds like building some of the core features out before you start going to some of the design elements. Do you have a framework for how you do that or how when you switch over or. I just kind of. I just kind of. It's my gut. Right. The reason that I didn't do activity first is because activity is based on liking something or adding something or someone viewed something or whatever. And so it's all based on activity related to things that exist. But I just inherently know, well, nothing exists yet in the app. There's no echoes to life. There's no people in the platform. There's no whatever. I don't even have a way to log in or log out. I haven't built a lot of things here. And I'm not going to build this piece first. I'm going to come back and build that later. I'm just going to think about what are the core things that I need. Well, I need users and they need to be able to put echoes in. Right. And part of the problem is possibly is that I don't see, I bet, an echo if I go in the database here. Part of what's not letting me publish an Echo, ID user ID. Let's look at the users right now. Yeah, there are no users. Right. And so I probably need to build my login system next. I just realized that there is no. No login system. We need users before we can create echoes. It seems like this interface that we've built so far is the app itself, but not the landing page and website where someone would learn about the app and then sign in. So let's build a landing page talking about the app and what we're doing. Use the readme MD to guide you. Then create a login and register function we need. You know, when a user logs in, then we bring them to the interface that we can see here that you built. All right, let's. Let's see what that does. That's a pretty big one. I might push a rollback button on that one, but because I gave it a lot of tasks to do and it might have been too many, it also seems that the map is taking a long time to load. I need to figure out what's going on there. And there might be a little bit of an error happening here. Yeah. Invalid mapbox access token. Maybe it hasn't fixed that link yet and it's doing it the wrong way. So that's okay for now. We're going to let it build our landing page so that when you. Because, like right here on Gen ipi, you don't, you know, you can see a lot of the stuff, but you can't actually start interacting with things. You can't see your dashboard. You're not into the app until you log in. Then once you log in, then a few more things pop up. You get dashboard, I'll get admin. Right. And that brings us into here. And here's what you can now do. Now you can take tests, you can do your certification, your purchase test is ready to test. Take whatever, right? And so things just change a little bit there. You can access your profile. You can see your assessment history and certifications, things like that. Okay. All of that isn't available when you're signed out, right? So it's going to look different when you're logged in. You do probably want some sort of a landing page, right, for when you're. For when you're building everything out. Or just refresh this here. We're still getting some kind of a weird error here. Cannot appear as a descendant of whatever the heck that is.
So we'll work.
We'll worry about that later. But now it's going to have to build, you know, an entire authentication system. And that's fine. We'll let it do that.
When you're building this, at which point do you start hooking up, like adding the API tokens, when it's like, hey, I know this is going to need.
To use if somehow that gets messed up. Right? Hey, the photos button is starting to look like it. It does something now that's kind of cool. It opened up my file system and then I can, you know, pick an image, I can try to upload it. Okay. Added one photo to your Echo. It's cool.
Charlotte, like Twilio, at some point to build. Does it prompt you to do that when it's like, hey, there's a messaging. We're building on the messaging function. Which service are we going to use? Please broaden the ap. Does it prompt that? Or should we be doing that in. In advance now?
You. I mean, yeah, you don't have to do it in advance. Date May 20. Test. Test. One, I will do a space at all. It will prompt it, it will come up and it will say, so you'll. So. So in a minute, you know, when we get to the right point, we'll say, okay, I want you to build an AI chatbot or something like that, right? And just be like, okay, get to work. Right? And then it will say, hey, you know what? We're going to use an OpenAI API key. Click here, go here, get this, and copy that API key in here, and then add it to your secrets manager, right? And so it'll do all that right there in the chat. It will prompt you when you need it, right? You can, you could provide it all ahead of time if, you know, oh, I want to use Twilio or I want to use whatever, you know, competitors that you were talking about yesterday, which I hadn't heard of. What was it called? Yeah, I haven't heard of bandwidth. Actually, maybe I have heard of it, but I haven't ever played with it, right? So I'm not familiar with it. But you say, hey, you know what? I'm going to use bandwidth instead of Twilio. I want to use. I want to do this. So if, even if it asks for a Twilio API, just be like, well, I actually want to use bandwidth. And we'll say, okay, sorry. And then it'll come up again with a prompt. Okay, please give me this. This is how we use bandwidth. I need this token and I need this. And here's how we're going to do it, right? And so it will figure all that stuff out very, very quickly for you. But, but it would give you a place in the chat to copy and paste your API key and get it working. Okay? So super, super easy. All right, guys, let's do some, some, let's do some image generation. You know, one of the things that you need when you're building an app or, you know, when you're building almost, almost anything is you gotta have, you gotta have some, some imagery around. You know, your hero images, you gotta have your logos, you gotta have, you know, supporting things like you can see inside of, just inside of here. You know, if you go to, like, courses, you know, there's just images. Images bring these things to life. Now they're all generated with AI using specific prompts and to get those and good tools and, and I bounce around, around, and I try different things. ChatGPT is pretty dang good at creating images. It's not the best, but it's. But, you know, at, you know, at everything. But it is pretty dang good at a lot of things. Okay, so if we come into my, you know, my travel blog thing here, and, you know, here's my. Here's my plan, I can. I can say, all right, let's please help me create a logo for Echoes. Okay? Absolutely, master. All right, let's make sure we get this right. Okay. You know, do you want it to be nostalgic, adventurous, serene, mysterious? So logo style. Should this be minimalist, hand drawn, vintage? So here's what I'm going to say. Based on all of the discussion we've already had in this project, sometimes you have to tell it to look at the project. Right. What do you think will work? Well, Excellent move, master. All right. Intuitively, powerfully memory mapping platform. Echoes as a memory map. Deeply personal, visually immersive. What will work best based on this direction? Nostalgic and warm with a hint of mystery and wonder. Time capsule in the woods. A ripple, echo ring over a pin on a map or a glowing orb. All right, so we can. We can see what. See what we get here. All right, great. Create this logo. Okay. Oh, nice. It knows that I asked for prompts in here for Mid Journey, so this is cool. It's giving me a Mid Journey prompt and a Runway prompt. These are. These are additional platforms we're going to use. Sorry, guys, my back's just hurting a little bit, so we're going to switch my angle here. Okay. Put the laptop on the lap. So minimalist logo design. It's pretty cool. I like it. So create this logo. We'll do that. And while it's doing that, we're going to use this cool prompt for Mid Journey. So Mid Journey. How many people here have used Mid Journey? Anybody? Wow, that's cool. Normally I get some people that have done that, but. So Mid Journey is awesome, guys. It can create all kinds of crazy stuff. Okay, so we're going to click create, we're going to paste the prompt, and we're gonna do this. Okay? And so basically what you do, it can create so many amazing things, like unbelievable images, logos, typography, hero images that you might need for your app. You just give it descriptions and it builds unbelievable, unbelievable images. One thing it's not great at is kayaking. It just kind of sucks at kayaking. All AIs don't know how to. How to kayak. I don't know why, but, man, is it bad at it. There's. I have some back here that are cool. So I made this image of Christ here because I was releasing a new. A new song that was called Risen. Right. It was for Easter and, you know, so I had it work on it. I finally got something that I really liked. Probably right there. I think that's where I landed. Pretty cool. Pretty cool image. Pretty amazing stuff there. But, yeah, here's some. Here's some fun kayaking images. This guy. Yeah, I mean, it almost looks good, but then you're like, oh, that guy's going upstream or backwards. Neither of which are a good situation here. This one is actually. Yeah, exactly. These ones are actually not too bad. This one, he's kind of like coming out of the waterfall here. It feels like that's a difficult position to get in. This guy feels like he's flying towards it, and he's like, way off the waterfall. He's about to have a bad landing. If that actually gets through. This guy is actually kind of cool. But it doesn't really look like a whitewater kayak. This guy's going upstream. I just don't know why. I don't know why it can't figure that stuff out. But anyway, let's see what. Let's see what we got here. So we've got. Well, this is a crazy. These are some crazy logo designs. Storytelling. Visualize a soft ripple spreading from a single point on a map. I did not recognize the point on map. This looked like a. Like a keyhole or something like that. I'm not sure what the f. That is. This is kind of interesting, but this reminds me of a smiley face right here. So I don't know if I love that. I don't know what the. What the feather is for. Yeah, I guess it put a feather in soft topographic lines. This is kind of cool. I don't know. Don't know if I'm a fan of any of these. Okay, let's see what Chat GPT did just for fun. Echoes. All right, so it followed its own design, Right? So it's got this, you know, a point on a map with some ripples and a feather. I don't. What's the feather for? Why? What's the feather form? Feather. Topography. Ripple. Feather. Paper plane. Soft, light. Storytelling. All right, eliminate the feather from all of the prompts. See if spaces work. We'll call it cinematic. This is a fun event. Tags. Kayaking. Enter and give me a new major prompt. Anyway, so. So anyway, guys, one of the things that you're going to find in.
In.
In logo design is there, you know, if you have 10 people in a room, you're going to have 11 opinions, but that's just how it is. You are not going to get away from that. It is amazing at how you know and how much people will argue about that. We're going to go copy here, and we're going to. We're going to go back to mid journey. Mid journey, guys, for if you're creative or just like to play with stuff like this. Midjourney is so freaking fun. You know what else is fun? Runway. Okay, so we're going to jump in here to Runway really quick. Go to Dashboard, and we'll try to generate an image. And here's my image prompt. Okay. I don't want to try it. I just want to generate. Just give me an image. Let's see what happens. Okay. All right, so now we got four more. This kind of meh, meh. I don't love any of these. I don't love any of these. So I might come back to ChatGPT and say, I'm not loving this direction. Let's try a new one. Okay, so I'm using AI to help me use AI, Right? Does it let you up. Go ahead, Preston. Does it let you upload images of other examples you might like? You're like, oh, hey, here's like, three other logo examples I want. Totally, yeah. Apple logo, right? So we could. We. And you don't even have to. You don't have to do this. You could just say, hey, you know, use the. You could use all these different logos or whatever. 1976. Anybody ever seen that? Apple computers. Look at that one. That's crazy. Then they came up with an apple. Someone's like, this thing isn't great, but yeah, you could download. You could download this image right here. Save image as. We'll save that. And then we'll say, like, I don't know, Exxon logo. And we'll download this. It's going to be a weird combination. Right? But you could do that. And then you could say, let's do Chick Fil A. We'll give it another logo here. And we'll say, all right, I want you to combine these three concepts and come up with a new prompt. Something went wrong there. That's fine. So now we'll drag these things in. Okay? Drag, drag, drag. Use these relogos as inspiration. Give me a new prompt and then create the logo. I want to see how Chat GBT does with. With providing a new prompt. It's looking at things. It's providing a new prompt, and then it's going to create the logo itself. Hey. It didn't provide a new prompt, so it ignored me. That's fine. All right, we're going to try another one. Living Echo. We're going to go like this, and we're going to go back to mid journey. We're going to try this one more time, and then we'll move on from this task of logo generation, because we don't need to spend a whole lot of time on it. Let's see if Runway came up with something cool. By the way, my computer is, like, really hot right now. It's. It's working hard. I can feel it's working hard. What happened to Runway Go? It is just totally unresponsive. So we'll close it and we'll. Whatever. New tab to the right. Midjourney. RC Runway here. Still in the queue. It's interesting. I don't know why it's still in the queue. It's weird. All right, these are kind of. Kind of interesting. Like, I kind of like. This is like a thumbprint, actually. Kind of interesting because it's like your memories are your own unique thing. This is. This is kind of behind there. I don't love this. This is. Okay. This one, though, actually, I kind of like. I. I can see why I could like this, right? It's kind of this topography. It's a map, right? And it's kind of your own little thing. It's almost like a tree. But one of the things that I like to think about, guys, when I'm looking at logos, is this going to look like. Look good on a hat? It's going to look good on something. Does it tell a story? Do you have a story you could tell with it? Another thing you need to think about when you're making logos, guys, is. Is it. Let's save the image really quick. How does it look when it is this big? Right? Can you recognize that? Right. Can you quickly say, okay, oh, I know what that is. Right? Because you can look up here, and, you know, this is Facebook and YouTube and Google and GitHub and, you know, man, is ChatGPT and Eventbrite and all these different things or whatever they are, right? Is it actually. Is it actually working for you now? This is kind of a, you know, for. For me, at least, I don't need to do this. I've actually already got an Echoes logo. I already went through a process of building this out, and I did it. I worked on it for a while, and then I used Fiverr. I use Fiverr all the time to do quick tasks. For me, so I don't have to do them. But this is actually what the idea was, was a dolphin with some echoes coming out. And then the guy was like, what if we made it really simple? What if you had these different elements that could be kind of pulled out of it, right? And so you can. You can use this alone, the standalone blue Echo, right? So you've got this dolphin, right? And so the dolphin kind of becomes, you know, almost a mascot. Whatever. You can animate this, you can do these different things. But I thought it was pretty dang cool. It made it into a nice circle type logo. And I actually believe that this is a very, very strong logo. It's very recognizable. It's very unique. No save button.
You can't submit the button.
I think the submit button is hidden under the menu, so. And it's really good, right? And then I made it. I made it orange, right? Echoes. That's what it looks like in the wild there. Looks really, really clean. Let's profile. I want to log out. Maybe I haven't built log out for this. This old version maybe. Maybe I didn't ever do that. I swear. There used to be a logout functionality. That's okay. I can go like this Echoes app. There it is. Looks really solid. I really love that. Okay, so anyway, see if Runway ever finished. I don't know why Runway is not not working. It's just like, hey, I'm not going to do this for you. I've never, ever, ever had this happen. It might just be stuck. It might just be stuck. Let's try this one, see if we can figure it out. My computer stopped, like, freaking out. It got really hot. Like something. Something stalled. Something weird happen there. Let's go back to chat. Gbt. Whoops, wrong chat. GPT. We need the. Need the. Right here. Echoes. All right, so now it's created a totally different one. And. And it's actually probably one of the better ones it created. It's more succinct, it's more simple. It says the. Obviously I gave it some words, and so it knew I wanted to do that. This is, you know, the map symbol, the location symbol. I'm still not a huge fan of it. Like, I wouldn't be excited personally about throwing that logo up on a hat or a shirt, right? Like, it's okay, but it's. It's not. It's not as cool as my cool Dolphin. And again, 11 opinions with 10 people in the room. That's what's going to happen, right? Some of you Guys might be like, yeah, I love this. I think that's cool. Or, hey, I don't like the dolphin. I think it sucks. All right, cool. Doesn't matter. I can tell you that a logo will not make or break your business. Okay. But I love Mid Journey guys for creating things, so I could, you know, maybe I need an image, actually. And in Mid Journey, you actually don't need to. Let's go to the travel blogs. We just have this open here as well. Create an image that can act as a hero image on the sales website. Or not. Sorry. On the website or Echoes before logging in. All right, so I'll ask it to do this. It might ask me some questions about it. Nope, it's just going to get started creating an image. And so, again, I. I really, really like Chat GBT for a lot of things. I really like using Chat GPT for. For generating prompts to then take to Mid Journey. I think that Mid Journey creates the most artistic things. Like, it can create unbelievable things that Chat GBT just can't quite do. I was asking it to, like, give me a quote or, like, something to go along with the quote, and I actually didn't want it. It was from a prophet, and I was like, yeah, but then it actually, like, made an image of the prophet, and that's not what I wanted. What I wanted was, like, this kind of an image. This is amazing, right? Really cool. This one was one. I wanted to create something for a homesteading app, and so I was just having it build some images. But look at the quality of all of this, guys. It's just amazing. You can also ask ChatGPT to do some pretty cool things using specific styles. So you can do a style of, like, hey, make this image look like it was in Toy Story or make it look like it was done with Lord of the Rings animation style. Or make it look like this. Or make it look like that. Another thing that I'll share with you guys that's, I think, really cool. Let's think of a good. A good example here. Laura, tell us about your Amazon product. Where can we find it?
Oh, gosh. On Amazon. Yeah.
How do I. Yeah, where?
What do I search do? Perfection collection. Migraine relief pillow.
Migraine pillow. There it is. Yep. Okay. All right. This is it right here.
Yeah. So I did have a question. So some of the things that I.
Anyway, it's just little stuff like this, guys, that it just doesn't think about. It doesn't know, it can't see, it hasn't.
I've had to try and modify was take. Instead of taking a ton of images, which I'm not a good photographer, we had somebody come and do these years ago was to take this pillow and I've tried to put it in Canva and I've had to separate the image and put it over somebody else's face. Do you know what I mean? And so I'm like, can I take the picture and put it into Mid Journey and have it be put over somebody's face? Does that make sense? Will it modify that, that picture for me like the pillow itself? Or is that not something? Or can it mimic the pillow now?
It can completely recreate the build for you. So yeah, let's take this.
We'll save this image because that's one thing I've been struggling with. I don't want to take a ton of other pictures. But to try and come up with new pictures just through Canva or recreating them just has been difficult.
Oh yeah. It requires some really, really good skills and it usually looks terrible. Yeah, yeah, same for me, right? I mean, unless you really, really know what you're doing.
Right, yeah.
Put this exact sleeping mask on the menu. See what happens. Let's bounce around at all of our cool things. Hey, look at our cool heroes image. Right? It's got it through a logo on. That's fine. Remove the logo and text and make it look like Lord of the Rings style animation and we'll let it do that as well. Mid journey. What are you working on right now? You're not doing anything. An image of the Great Wall of China, photo realistic. No people, epic sunset. See what it does there? Okay, Retry man. Where'd my image go? Oh, there it is. Okay, that's good. I thought it deleted it. It just scrolled me down. Okay, let's see if that can work. Let's get back to here. But this exact sleeping mask on the man. Oh, you know what? It might not have liked that I was doing two things at once. Yeah, I might have. I might have killed it by trying to do something over here as well. And now it's messing with that. Okay, that's fine. I want to do. I want to do this. Let's see here. I'll switch model. Bad response, Didn't work. Okay, Please try again. All right.
Which GPT models do you use for different circumstances?
Yeah, so chat GPT4O you're going to use for almost everything. Okay. This is going to be your image generation. All that type of stuff it says great for most Tasks, right? And it really kind of tells you here, right? Advanced reasoning, things like that if you're doing, if you're working on a really hard coding problem and it needs to think through like something that's a little bit more advanced, you're probably going to use O3 maybe 04 mini high. O3 is really, really good at acting like a top level consultant, right? It can, it can think very, very deeply. Especially if you have it do a deep research or something like that.
You said that was three?
Zero. Yeah. Zero three. Yeah, yeah.
Oh three.
Yep. Oh three is, is awesome. It can do some really cool things but it can take, you know, 10 or 15 minutes to answer you sometimes. And, and really what I like to do guys is I like to use chat gpt4oh. To create my prompt for O3. Right? Here's what I'm trying to discuss. Here's what I want to do. I want you to create a really good prompt that has them work like a top tier consultant, whatever it is. And we'll do that. Okay. So we can see this image is.
Starting to be created regarding imagery. So kind of like Laura, I do have an E commerce company as well. So if I have shots of my product in multiple angles, could I create a project folder, dump all those in and then I can then continue the conversation, say add it to this kind of image. Add it to this image. Because it has now my product on multiple angles. Is that something that it can continue that on conversation like it's a photo shoot but you're just using different models but you've given it enough visual angles that it sees your product in a 3D or almost a full 360 view.
Yes, you basically can, right? So you could, I think you could. And we'll try that right here, right? We'll grab another person. But you can see, there you go. Laura, it created the man with your product on him. Let's try, let's try this girl right here. Save image. Black girl, sleepy. Save like this. Now put the mask on this girl. Okay. So yeah, you can do crazy stuff. JGPT is very, very good at combining images. You could also then, you know, take this image if you liked it and say, you know, put the name of your brand here. Or you could drop your logo in and say, hey, put overlay this and put a message, create a marketing message, you know, whatever it is. I wish this was faster because it's super fun. I wish we could just like have it come up, come up, come up. But it's thinking Question for you.
So I mean, is this something. So we're creating the image can then you then tell it to create a like Instagram post? You know, I mean, like. Or do you say I want to create an image for an Instagram post and then go to a different website and have it create the actual post for you?
I mean, or is it right here?
Right there.
Gadget can write on the post or can write on this. It can write the caption for you, whatever you need it to do, and then you just download the image and upload it or copy it and copy the text and paste it in and it's done. We'll have it do. We'll have it do something cool. I'm going to have it use this. I actually like this image because it leaves a lot of room to like sell something right here. Right. We could, we can format it a little bit and we'll just say, hey, create a, create an ad for. What happens if I go to this. Not logged in. Yeah, that's dumb. About this item Y Perfection collection. Okay, we're going to copy this product description here. Copy. And we're going to come over here.
You might need to express face pillow opposed to pillow.
Look how cool that is. Isn't that cool, Laura? Like, you know, obsession anymore. Now you're gonna need to find images maybe of, you know, that that person might ask for royalty or something if someone's checking and looking. Right. Most people don't ask, but you know, if you want to follow the law or at least, you know, not get, not get sued or whatever, then you know, maybe find an image that's. That's, that's open and available to use or take your own images. Right? Yeah.
I created an image in Canva to show a woman sleeping on a bed or whatever. So then can I take that image obviously and drop it in?
Yeah, just drop it in. Upload your image of your consider. Oh yeah, I need a little bit more spacing there. Right. It appears that the nav menu is blocking the save button on the new of your mask. And, and you're good to go. Like, this is. This is so cool. Put some text on the left of this.
I imagine you could probably even start with your image and say, hey, put a different person under this.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Alter the actual product image itself. Just alter the.
The person.
Person underneath it. Yeah.
That way it doesn't like thin it out and things like that.
Yeah. I mean, the pillow just looked like it was modified just a little bit so it wasn't Quite accurate.
What. What was inaccurate?
So the pillow itself on that picture, it's not accurate. It's not giving, like, you know, the. It's just different. So I wouldn't want to use that pillow versus the pillow that. Yeah, so that pillow is. Is almost two pounds. And so. Yeah, a pound and a half versus that one. It doesn't look like it's filled with flat just because I've been. You know, I've made them for years.
Yeah.
I just know that it looks a little bit different.
You know what? Me as a consumer. As a consumer, I wouldn't know the difference at all if I just saw this. I'm like, okay, cool. That looks comfortable. You can sleep with it.
Great.
I don't really care that this is two pounds or that the dimensions aren't exact, like just the thing. Right. If it makes sense.
And I guess as a consumer, I'd be worried, though, that some people are going to return it. Well, it didn't look that way in the picture. You know, people return it. So that's, you know, that's one of my fears. But, I mean, from your standpoint, then.
Yeah, I mean, I would say worry less, execute more. Just try stuff, you know, and if you get feedback like, oh, I thought this was. Okay, great. Well, you get a couple returns and you adjust it. Now, here's the cool thing I just said, hey, act like, you know, create a professionally created ad. Here's the information about the product. And I just did this. So it learns about it. It's got your perfection collection. It uses this image. Boom. Look at that. Think about how much you. How much time you'd have to take to build this. To build this out, guys.
Yeah. I spent an entire day and a half trying to figure out moving in Canva, you know, because I'm not a professional by any means, and trying to basically make something very similar to that.
Yeah. And it's done. By the way, I use Canva a ton. I think it's an awesome tool right now. It did not. What is. What is this a real word? Fast. Fastixed?
No, it's flaxseed.
Okay, so it got that wrong. That's okay. It got a couple things wrong. And so.
Yeah, so, yeah, so it's like the third one down is what it's supposed to say.
Totally. And then you could use, you know, if you know how to use Photoshop, you could quickly just take that out. Right. Or you could just say, hey, remove these. Remove these pieces. It's spelled relaxation. Wrong one that it's not great. Is. Is. Is typing. It's just not great at it, right? All right, try again. But. But this time I make it feel like an ad from 2050, right? Go into the future, go back and make it a retro ad from the 70s, and it'll change the colors and the style and the fonts and things like that. Whatever. You can have it do so many things. But, guys, one of the most powerful things that AI can do right now is combine two images. It can take one thing from another. Like, I've done so many cool things where. Where I. I bet I've got. I bet I've got a few examples just in downloads of things that I've done from past classes instead of having to sit here and. And figure it out. Like, for example, I put. I put an elephant in a hand. That's pretty cool, right? I put.
And you combined those images? Yeah, I just saying, hey, create it.
I found an image of a hand and found an image of an elephant and said, put this elephant in this hand, make a miniature elephant. So this was cool. I took this cake. She's holding this cake right here. And then I found this image of a flask of lemonade. And I said, switch the cake for the lemonade. And she's just holding it up. I'd have to go back and find it because I didn't save the. Well, maybe I did. Now it's not opening for whatever reason, but I just delete these because I don't know what they are. Images that didn't download properly, but I just combined them. It's. It's amazing. It's amazing what it can do. I did the same thing with this right here. I had this woman holding this pie, and then I said, hey, have her holding this blue cake. And chatgpt did it. Did it great. Like, perfect.
That would say so much time in Canva. I have to go in and erase the image, remove it or take it, and then upload another image and place it in there myself. So that would save so much time.
Oh, yeah. It takes forever. Takes forever. A new dimension of face, pillow, sleep, migraines, relaxation. Look, and it totally changed the girl too, right? I mean, she still looks awesome, right? Perfection collection. Marijuana symbol.
It's a little bit different, but.
No, I know it is. I asked it to do a, you know, a 2051, but that's called marijuana. I'll make a retro 70s ad. Okay. I mean, you could have it do so many things, right? We could go on and on and on and. And Oz. This is demonstrating what we were talking about. We've already given it, you know, the source material and now what we're trying to work on. Right? So I love it now. It did. You know, it did add this here, which I don't think is. Is on the original, right?
Actually, it is. There is an iron on. On the right.
Is on there. Well, then I didn't even see.
Yeah, it's very light. You can't see it. So it's amazing that it actually put that on there.
Yeah, that's pretty cool. Yeah, I can't even. I can't even see it. Why can't it see?
Yeah, no, it's a state. It's an iron on. So vinyl.
Where did it go? I swear I had it here. I think you just pulled it from Amazon. Two tabs. Yeah.
You just copied it. You didn't save it.
Did I? Okay. Anyway, but you guys get it. You guys get it, right? Like, it can. It can do all this crazy stuff. It's kind of dumb that it kind of cut off the top there, but now it's using kind of faded colors and a yellow that makes it feel very 70s. And for migraine relief, relaxation, sinus care, and more. Yeah, it's like it pulled it out of a. Enjoy hot or cold therapy with Perfection Collection. Soothing eye pillow Perfection collection. Why did it cut it off? That's so weird, right? But anyway, sky's the limit with these guys. Okay? You can do some really, really neat stuff, and then you can take these images and you can integrate them into your site. Okay? So I had. I had it. Create something for me. Stop creating image. Okay, how about you just do this? Just remove the texts and give me the image as is. Okay? I want to drag something over into my replit file. I want to show you guys how to integrate external things into this. Okay. Hey, it finished my task of. Now it's building out. It's built out this landing page. I don't love it. This is not how I would actually have it do it. I don't know if I want people to just land on this and immediately be brought to this kind of weird thing, but that's okay. Let's give it an image. Hopefully ChatGPT can finish this one. Here we go. Just move this to here. Remove the logo and text from this image. Wait, didn't I ask it to give me like a. Yeah, where's my. Where's my great Wall of China image? Like, I asked mid journey to do that photorealistic. Look at that, guys. You don't even have to travel to the great world or to the Great Wall of China to see it now. Right? Create just unbelievable images.
I'll let you know. I'll be there in two weeks.
Oh, that's cool. You going out there? Yeah, that's real. That's really cool. I've been there before. What are you going out there for?
Summer? Taking my family for a two month trip in Asia.
Two month trip. Wow. That's crazy. I love it. I love it. Now I remember you saying, hey, I want to take your class so I can work on stuff while I'm gone. You're going to have lots to do. That's really cool. But let's use this image. I just downloaded it and. Okay. Why are you being an idiot? So sometimes you'll get into this loop if it just gets like lost. It doesn't want to give you. Here, you know, we'll do. Just drag this down. Give me the image. Please give me the image about this one. All right, so what we're going to do is we're going to start a brand new chat here. I want to just make it give me the image because I don't like it when it says no to me. Remove the logo and text from this image. I want to see if it doesn't want to do it because it doesn't want to remove something. I don't know. Okay, let's grab the man. This dang zoom video keeps getting in my way. All right, here we go. Use this as the hero image on the sales. On the sales page here. Okay, so yeah, it had to do a lot of work. It had to build a whole new login system and do all kinds of crazy stuff. So we'll have to try that, see if it works. If I click sign in, what happens? Nothing. Pricing. Wait, what am I seeing here? Copy development URL. Interesting. It's using the new replit login. I don't know if I love their login, but you know what? We're going to try it. Copy new incognito window paste. Go and sign in. Interesting. It automatically sets up all this oauth login secured by replit. That's kind of cool. It's kind of neat. Continue to GitHub x Apple. What if I want to just continue with email? Okay. I want to. Oh, sign up. Verify your email to continue with memory mapper. Okay, well, we'll let it do that. Gosh dang, I can't get around this. Okay, so we'll be back to here In a second. Let's come back. Let's go back to my page. Okay, let's go back to this and this. Replit Verify. Okay, good. Reach this app. Yeah. So obviously it's not set up yet. It's not working yet properly. I don't know if I love. I don't know if I love using Replit's off system. I mean, it's nice that it, that it took care of building login with Google, logging with Facebook, logging with all these things. But I don't know. I don't know if I love that. I need to keep playing with that more. And I'm not going to try to. I'm not going to try to work on it right now, but I do need it to get that image to work properly. Okay, let's go back to chat GPT. Oh, man. See, it's so dumb. It's saying it violates our content policies. It doesn't want to remove this because it thinks it's somebody else's image. But it just created the image and then I asked it to remove it and it's like, I can't do that. That's just a dumb user experience that it probably wasn't trying to do. That's okay. We've got our, We've got a different hero image. We've got the, the Great Wall of China. We use that one. All right, what I want to do next here, guys, is. Oh, by the way, I want to share this. I think this is useful information. So when I was creating Gen A API and I was building it in three, three days, working with jbt, building all these strategies, building all this stuff and I'm like going back and forth, I'm inside of the agent, working and then I'll bounce over and, okay, I need a Facebook page and Instagram page and a login, all these different things, right? And I needed a logo. At one point I just said, okay, you know what, I need to create a logo quickly. How can I do this fast? And one of the things that I needed was I needed the solid background, transparent background, all these things. And so I found this AI website, design.com that helps, helps you choose and design an image really quick, but it allows you to then say, okay, I need just the icon only transparent background. I can get the png, I can get the full logo. I can get a vector file. A vector file, guys, allows you to zoom in infinitely, right? So I can zoom in on this infinitely. And it's never going to get. Because it's a Math based image. So if you need your logo in a format to put on a billboard or to put, you know, on a, you know, you're wrapping your car or whatever it is, right? You know, I can look at it small, I can look at it big, whatever, and it's going to look awesome. So. So design.com is a great resource if you need just a fast logo that's going to have all of the different formats that you need. Okay. So I just wanted to make sure I just said that out loud. When you create images, guys, you can then use. Here, let's get rid of this. I don't need this anymore. Go back to here. Let's go to Runway. Hey, it finally woke up. Welcome to the. Welcome to the game. Runway. Runway did pretty good right now. Ignore the text. It can do. Most AIs just suck at text. They just don't get it right. But yeah, these are kind of cool. They're kind of interesting. I don't know if I'm a fan of any of them. I don't think I would use any of them. Like, these are way too complex. I want it, I want it to be. Yeah. It doesn't have, like, simplicity of Apple. We forgot to say that here. I like circle. I like circles. Like, if you look up here, you've got a bunch of different Circles. Facebook, right? P5JS Web Editor. This is my Echo One. That was a circle. Google's a circle chat. GPT is a circle, you know? Yeah. Anyway, circles work really well for a lot of reasons. Number one, they show up really nice on Facebook, right? Because when you see people on Facebook, they are, you know, they're going to show up as circles, right? You've got, you've got that everywhere. Instagram, X, LinkedIn, right? They're all circles, okay. And so if you have a circle logo, you're just going to fit really nicely. So I, I tend to gravitate towards circle logos. That's just my personality and what I think. And you guys might disagree with me, and that's totally fine. One of the cool things you can do with Runway, though, beyond just the images, right? Is you know what? I actually kind of like this thing to play with. I want to just mess with this. I want to use. I'm going to use it in a video, okay. So I'm going to say, let's just say, I don't know, let's just say bring this image to life. Been given a lot of direction there, right? But we'll see what happens here. Have A herd of elephants? No, not elephants. We'll say. We'll say a pack. Is it a pack? A pack of camels? Is it a pack of camels? I think it is. Camel pack. Herd. Herd of camels. What is it? Someone tell me it's a herd.
They're a herd.
Is it a herd of camels? Like a herd of horses. Right? Herd of camels running. Go to caravan the desert in the background. All right, we'll generate this, see if it works. Right. Now, one of the fun things with this, guys, is. Yeah, it didn't bring this image to life at all. All it did was like to see it. Okay. Or you could just say, I can't see the nav menu. Or, sorry, I can't see the. The. I can't see the save button or the app. Right. So it's going to fix the layout, make sure there's proper spacing. Did it make the sun kind of set or something? Maybe at the last second there a little bit. It's kind of fun. Whatever. These are very, very artistic platforms, and they're extremely powerful and extremely capable. But you do have to figure out how to. How to talk to them, how to prompt them correctly, and in order to do that, use ChatGPT. Right? That's really what you should be doing when you're. When you're messing around in here. You know, we really should be coming in here. And then. And then we could download this image. Where is the image? It's right here. Download. Jump back into ChatGPT. Okay. And then you just tell it what you want. Right? Give me a good prompt or Runway ML to have a herd of camels running in the background. The desert. Gen 4 Turbo. All right, let's see what we got here. Copy.
John, where would you rank Sora in this skin? In the scheme of Mid Journey versus Runway versus the other options.
So Mid Journey is all images. Sora is all video. But Runway ML is tippy top. Sora is fantastic. And so is Cling. Right. Cling AI is one of the best. Some people say it's the best. Some people say Runway ML is the best. Most people know from a lot of experience which one is going to get the better result, and so they'll just do that. But, I mean, look at how beautiful these images are, right? You've got this whale in the desert, how cool that is. Think about how much money it used to cost. You know, you're a video game developer and you need a cutscene, right? Like, just give it to. Give it to Cling Right? Especially when you look at this. This. That looks so real. Create this image for something like Lord of the Rings. I mean, that would take forever and so much money and so much power to do that with, you know, with the older models. Let's see if we get anything like what we're trying to get here. That's kind of fun.
This is Runway versus the other options.
So Mid Journey is all images. Sora is all video. But Runway ML is tippy top. Sora is fantastic. And so is Cling. Right? Cling AI is one of the best. Some people say it's the best. Some people say not exactly what I asked for, but, you know, we got some camels. Let's see. Let's see if the. If the ChatGPT generated thing works a little bit better here. Obviously, we're not using this logo, but. But it's cool. It uses that logo. The camels run in front of the logo here. Kind of almost looks like they're kicking. They've got their shadows and things like that. So it's using the source of the light there. It's not bad, right? It's not perfect, but with one prompt. Not bad. It's not bad. So Runway ML is super useful for playing with things like that. Cling is really good. Sora is good. Play around with the tools, guys just jump in and. And mess with it. Yeah. Video generation. They also. A lot of These things have iOS apps. Runway has an iOS app. Midjourney does not, But Midjourney works through Discord. If you don't know Runway ML is the best. Most people know from a lot of experience which one is going to get the better result, and so they'll just do that. But I mean, look at how beautiful these images are, right? You got this whale in the desert, how cool that is. Think about how much money it used to cost. You know, you're a video game developer. You need a cut scene. Discord, it's a messaging platform, and you just have to set it up. It's not that hard, but it's a messaging platform. You have to sign in, and then you can talk to your. You basically talk to. To Mid Journey in Discord, and it will do stuff for you. But, yeah, I mean, we could. We could. We could keep trying and playing with all these things. We don't necessarily need to today. I think we're. I think we're. We're good. But play with Cling. Play with. You know, play with Runway. Play with Mid Journey. Play with these different tools, but images and Videos, guys, bring your. You know, they'll bring your creations to life. They'll bring your. Your cool website that you're working on. Hey, we got the. We got the image here working a little bit better. I don't know if I love the. Love the feel. I think it's a little bit too. I don't know. I mean, it's okay, right? Like, just give it to. Give it to cling. Right? Especially when you look at this. This. That looks so real. Create this image for something like Lord of the Rings. I mean, that would take forever and so much money and so much power to do that with. You know, with the old. The centering of everything is. Is quite bad here. I don't love the top nav. Nav design here. There isn't proper spacing. Wait a second. Yeah, there's nothing there. Sometimes it will write things in the same color as the background, so you can't see it. So I was wondering if there was a register button here. So I tried to select it. Sometimes you'll see that happen. Yeah, sometimes you have to, like, go through and select. Make sure there's nothing. There's no text or anything being hidden somewhere because it was written in the same language or. Sorry, the same color as the background models. Let's see if we get anything like what we're trying to get here. That's kind of fun. Not exactly what I asked for, but, you know, we got some camels. Let's see. Let's see if the. If the ChatGPT generated thing works a little bit better here. Obviously, we're not using this logo, but. But it's cool. It uses that logo. The camels run in front of the logo here, Right? Improper spacing and. Yeah, okay. All right. We're doing pretty good, guys, in terms of. In terms of time. We've gone over some APIs. We could probably. We could probably add another API in really quick just to play with this. Let's try. Now, you know what I want to do. Does anybody here. Does anybody here want to share their screen and, like, does anybody want to integrate AI into their app or do anything like that? Thomas?
Yeah, John, if you don't mind, I was trying to do some of that yesterday and ran into some.
Some kind of. Almost looks like they're kicking. They've got their shadows and things like that. So it's using the source of the light there. It's not bad, right? It's not perfect, but with one prompt. Not bad. It's not bad. So Runway ML is super Useful for playing with things like that. Cling is really good. Sora is good. Play around with the tools, guys.
Roadblocks for sure. So let me. Let me share my screen.
Yeah, go for it. Here. Sorry. Let me turn on my focus mode. So I don't get things like that. I don't know why that message came through. Ever see you. Oh, it's because I have those. Silence. That's fine.
Actually.
I guess I just reload this. Oh, yeah, just reload over here on the right. Yeah, yeah, there you go. Yeah, there's a little refresh button over in the preview as well. You can always refresh it. Yeah, it won't show up until. Yeah, there you go. Takes just a second, so I. I guess just jump in and. And mess with it. Yeah. Video generation. They also. A lot of These things have iOS apps. Runway has an iOS app. Mid Journey does not. But Mid Journey works through Discord. If you don't know, change.
The app that I decided to build was a tool for sales Discord.
It's a messaging platform and you just have to set it up. It's not that hard, but drips.
I like sending personalized videos before sales appointments. But I thought, hey, it'd be really cool if I could record a template and then have it kind of use AI to insert the prospect's name and replace my. My voice and auto generate captions. But it definitely started struggling when I wanted it to do that. But it did have me start trying to API into like 11 labs and some chat GPT stuff to do voice recognition and try and pull transcripts.
It's a messaging platform. You have to sign in and then you can talk to you. You basically talk to Mid Journey in Discord and it will do stuff for you. But yeah, I mean, we could. We could. We could keep trying and playing with all these things. We don't necessarily need to today. I think we're. I think we're. We're good. But play with cling. Play with out of the videos. That's cool. It's using ChatGPT to pull transcripts out of the videos. That's interesting. Did you get it?
Well, I could never fully get it to work, but that's what it was trying to do.
Do me a favor. Really quick. Click the little plus button right there. Right above. Just, you know, play with Runway. Play with Mid Journey. Play with these different tools, but images and videos, guys, to add a new tab right there. Over on the right. Yeah, right there. Okay. And then open up your Secrets Manager or it's just called Secrets, I think. Yeah, There we go. All right, so you've got a fire. Bring your. You know, they'll bring your creations to life. They'll bring your. Your cool website that you're working on. Hey, we got the. We got the image here working a little bit better. I don't know if I love the. Love the feel. I think it's a little bit too. I don't know. It's okay. API key 11 labs and open API. So you've already. You've already added those in, so that's really good. Show me. Show me what it's tried to build. Show me what it's done.
Yes.
Back to the pre. Go back. Just log in. The centering of everything is. Is quite bad here. Did it use the replit login to do all this stuff or did you just build that out? I don't love the.
It tried to initially and I got confused. I thought people had to have a replit account.
Top nav menu design here. There isn't proper spacing sign in.
So I just had it do it. That's it. Used the firebase to do that login.
That's cool.
But yeah, if I click new video, there's where I can add in templates and it was really cool because even.
If I tried second. Yeah, there's nothing there. Sometimes it will write on my phone.
I got it to just natively pull up the phone's camera to record that.
I love that.
But then I. The idea was, hey, I can select a video, type in my prospect's name.
Things in the same color as the background so you can't see it. So I was wondering if there was a register button here. So I tried to select it. Sometimes you'll see that happen. Yeah, sometimes you have to go through and select. Make sure there's nothing. There's no text or anything.
This idea from something else in the template. I just throw in a placeholder word. But I want the AI to identify that word and then add in the prospect's name. But whenever I click generate video, I was getting some weird stuff. So I don't know if what I was wanting it to do was just.
To being hidden somewhere because it was written in the same language or. Sorry, the same color as the background. Right. And proper spacing and. Yeah.
Sorry, you probably can't hear that because I got headphones on, but it hasn't. It hasn't modified this video clip in any way.
Okay. All right. We're doing interesting.
And I probably spent about two hours like, hey, it's not working pretty good, guys.
In terms of. In terms of time. We've gone over some APIs. We could probably. We could probably make it work.
It's not working.
Yeah, yeah, make it work. It's not. It's probably not able to change the video and the audio. Right? You probably need it to process. Honestly, you might want to use. Use Runway. So Runway actually has something to. Here, I'll stop. We add another API in really quick just to. To play with this. Let's try. No, you know what I want to do? Does anybody here. Does anybody here want to share their screen? And like, does anybody want to integrate AI into their app? Sharing your screen for a second, and I'll share mine, and I'll show you this. One of the things. And Runway works quite well, guys. It's really awesome. It takes a little bit of tweaking, but it has a great API. And, gosh, why can't I keep getting lost on my screen? I have too many things open. Let's go over to this is Cling Runway app or do anything like that. Thomas.
Yeah, John, if you don't mind, I was trying to do some of that yesterday and ran into some roadblocks for sure.
So let me.
Let me share my screen.
Yeah, go for it here. Sorry. Let me turn on my focus mode. So generative session. Oh, hey, I want to see if.
I want to.
Let's see what it did here with my camels. These camels are just confused, and one of them has two heads. So that's fun. But anyway, go to Dashboard, and you go to All Tools and Lip Sync video. Right? So you might. You might be able to use the Lip sync video element here, where you drop this in and then tell it what it's going to do. But that would be. That would be probably the way to do it. And then. And then, you know, obviously, you can use the. The audio stuff as well. Generate audio. And then you already discovered 11 labs, which is awesome. Right? Where you can do the voice changer. So the voice changer. I don't get things like that. I don't know why that message came through I ever see you. Oh, it's because I had those. Silence. That's fine.
Actually.
I guess I just reload this, huh? Oh, yeah, just reload over here on the right. Yeah, yeah, There you go. Yeah, there's a little refresh button over in the preview, guys, is really, really cool. So I can come in here and I can say something like, let's see here, start. Okay. We're going to go ahead and do a test here and see what I sound like as a different voice. Then I can come in here and I as well. You can always refresh. Won't show up until. Yeah, there you go. Takes just a second so I can pick a. You got to be careful if you don't know where you're going because you might not get there. Generate. Okay, we're going to go ahead and do a test here and see what I sound like as a different voice.
I changed the app that I decided to build was a tool for sales.
Okay. So I can completely change my voice. This one is actually I like sending.
Personalized videos before sales appointments, but I.
Copying my exact voice and then changing it to a completely different model. See here? Yeah. I have to upgrade my plan if I want that. Let's try this guy. Whatever. Generate. Okay, we're gonna go ahead and do a test here and hey, it'd be.
Really cool if I could record a template and then have it see what.
I sound like as a different voice. Right, so you can do that obviously. You can obviously also just do text to speech. Right. And so this is possibly what you were doing. And by the way, did you go in and create a custom voice for yourself in 11 labs? No. Yeah, you'll want to do that. You want to go in and you want to add a voice. So you go, so here I can do text to speech and I can just say, hey, watermelon.
Kind of use AI to insert the prospect's name and replace my. My voice and auto generate captions.
Which I know is not what you were trying to do. Right. But you can do like, hey, Michael, whatever, you know, how are you today? And then I can choose a voice.
That I've made, but it definitely started struggling.
That's cloning. Hey, Michael, how are you today? Right. Hey, Michael, how are you today? Slow down a little bit. Regenerate. Hey, Michael, how are you today? Yeah, so it's using my voice. You can clone that voice in about 10 seconds. You come in and you just create, click create new voice when I wanted.
It to do that, but it did.
Have me start trying to API, which is somewhere. Here we go.
Add new voice into like 11 labs and some chat GPT stuff to do voice recognition and try and pull transcripts out of the videos.
That's cool. It's clone your voice with only 10 seconds of audio. Right? Record audio. Okay. I'm just going to go ahead and talk and say some different things here. Supercalifragilistics. Xp, Alidocious. And I just need about three more seconds and we will have enough sample here using ChatGPT to pull transcripts out of the videos. That's interesting. You can create a longer sample for sure, but. But, you know, continue advertising for a better clone. Right, but that is enough. And now we've created a voice and it's done. Now won't let me use it because I've already created enough customer. You know, my maximum amount of custom voices. I pay $5 a month for 11 labs, guys. And you can do this and you can API into it, but what you're going to want to do, Thomas, is you're probably going to want to go in, create your own clone, name it, and then use your API and then instruct repl.it to say, okay, hey, we're going to use this voice and anytime I say watermelon, we're going to do this. Now that's a pretty advanced thing to do. To have it do, you might have to pull in the Runway ML. What I would try to do is do it outside of repl.it first, try to use Runway ML. Use a video. Create a video and get a result that works. And then just tell replit to automate that. Right. Okay. I did this. I did this, I did this, I did this, I did this. Now build a system for me that automates this so that it can immediately generate that. Right. So I'm not an expert at that, by the way. You know, I'm not, I don't know 100% if that's the right way to do that, but based on my pretty informed, but, you know, not sure guess.
No, that's good. As I got in there and started building, like, hey, I want you to change the audio and then I want you to automatically create subtitles and captioning. And I'm like, oh, I think it's. I'm asking it to. Well, I could never fully get it to work, but that's what it was trying to do.
Do me a favor, really quick, click the little plus button right there, right above, just to add a new tab right there. Over on the right. Yeah, right there. Okay. And then open up your Secrets Manager, or it's just called Secrets, I think. Yeah, there we go. All right, so you've got a Firebase API. Key 11 labs and open API. So you've already. You've already added those in, so that's really good. Show me. Show me what it's tried to build. Show me what it's done.
Yes.
Back to the Prefect. Go back into this login. Did it use the replit login to do all this stuff or did you just build that out to do too.
Much just without giving it more instructions?
Yeah, you're. You're pushing. You're pushing the limits here. Which is why I love that. I love that you're pushing the limits. You're doing the right. You're doing it.
Tried to initially and I got confused. I thought people had a. To have a repl account.
The right thing here. So. So keep that up. All right. The Echoes logo and sign in.
Sign in. So I just had it do it. That's it. Used the Firebase to do that.
Not well positioned compared to the edge of the screen. The logo is too close to the left and the sign in is too far from the right. That's cool.
But yeah, if I click new video, there's where I can add in templates and it was really cool because even if I tried.
All right, so we'll let it figure that out. And by the way, when I tell it something like that, guys, on my.
Phone, I got it to just natively pull up the phone's camera to record that.
When I say it's too close to the left or too far from the right, it will actually then ask itself.
But then I. The idea was, hey, I can select.
A video elf using its chain of thought reasoning. Well, what is the right distance? It should be right. Oh, well, most apps do this and this and this. So let me just apply it. Boom. And then it should. It should figure that out pretty quickly here. Okay, we're going to open this up really cool. Or quickly. We're going to go three days, type.
In my prospect's name. I took this idea from something else in the template. I just throw in a placeholder word. But I want the AI.
Let's look at this one right here. I think it's a pretty good one. Plan validate multitask payment processing. We haven't gone over any stripe yet. We could talk about it a little bit. You don't have to use Drive Finish your core product. Killer website. Automate marketing. Yeah. So tomorrow, guys, to identify that word.
And then add in the prospect's name. But whenever I click generate video.
We'Re.
Going to keep doing this. Test everything like a customer. Right. You know, launch and start selling. We're going to be talking about sales and marketing tomorrow. We'll be, you know, working on scaling and improving. We'll talk about app security. Right? That's a big One that we want to.
I was getting some weird stuff, so I don't know if what I was wanting it to do was just to.
Make sure we. We get in there. But. But again, it's just kind of iterating and continuing down the process of. Okay, this, you know, hey, look, we've got this working now, right? You just. Sorry.
You probably can't hear that because I got headphones on, but it hasn't.
Kind of say, I don't. This doesn't feel good. This doesn't feel good. This doesn't feel good until.
It hasn't modified this video clip in any way.
It feels good right now. It looks actually amazing on mobile. Look at that. That's pretty cool. Now, here's the problem. This looks good, but there's. Where are all the menu items? Right? So I'm gonna have to. I'm gonna have to do this. Interesting.
And I probably spent about two hours like, hey, it's not working.
Make it work.
Hey, it's not working.
Yeah, yeah, make it work. I have to say on mobile, it's not. It's probably not able to change the video. The menu items disappear. See attached school. And the audio. Right. You probably need it to process. Honestly, you might want to use range shot. Then I'm going to come back here. I'm going to say full size, actually. Yeah, yeah. You know what? I'm not going to tell it what to do. I know what I want it to do, but. And what it's probably going to do if I want to see if it figures it out on desktop happens here. But, guys, I hope you understand that you know the rest of Runway. So Runway actually has something to here. I'll stop sharing your screen for a second, and I'll share mine, and I'll show you this second screenshot. The sign in button is too far from one of the things. And Runway. Runway works quite well. Guys. It's really awesome. It takes the right. Okay. So sometimes it thinks it does something, but it actually did it to mobile. And you have to give it some conditional formatting for different screens. A little bit of tweaking, but it has a great API. And, gosh, why can't I keep getting lost sizes? So let's see if it can fix both of those problems at once. What I want it to do is create a. Is create a hamburger menu right here. So I'll probably push the sign in over here, put a hamburger menu, and maybe drop the sign in. In there. My screen. I have too many things open. Let's Go over to this is Cling Runway generative session. Oh, hey, I want to see if. I want to. Let's see what it did here with my camels. But yeah, anyway, and then maybe I want the top to stay. So when I scroll down, it's always up there. The sign in is always showing up right there. Yeah. Anyway, so it's working on that. If I click on Scammels are just confused Privacy policy, It's not going to work. It's not going to do anything. In terms of service, guess what? Guess how you created Terms of service and a privacy policy. You just tell replit, please create a page for terms of terms of service and write the doc. And one of them has two heads. So that's fun. But anyway, go to commitment, right? And you could give it. You could have ChatGPT do that. You could say, use this document, right? And ChatGPT can write a perfectly legal amazing document for you in dashboard. And you go to all tools and lip sync video, right? So you might. You might be able to use the lip sync video element here where you drop this in and then tell it what it's 30 seconds, okay. Give it your information about your company and what it is and all the things, if there's anything specific that you know, you've thought about that matter or whatever amazing. Right. Gonna do. But that would be. That would be probably the way to do it. And then. And then, you know, obviously you can use the. The audio stuff as well. Generate audio. And then you already. Okay, all right, so let's see here. We'll fix this. No, you didn't fix that. I mean, nice try. You didn't make any changes. Okay. Sometimes it thinks it does something or like I don't discovered 11 labs, which is awesome, right? Where you can do the voice changer. So the voice changer guys, is really, really cool. So I can come in here and I can say something like. Like this is supposed to be. Supposed to be a pretty easy task and it just kind of didn't do it right. Dedicated desk. Let's see here. Start top separate navigation. That keeps the sign in button. Yeah, I don't know. Okay, we're gonna go ahead and do a test here and see what I sound like as a different voice. Okay. We're at 11:30. Yeah, we're kind of right at the time we want. Okay. And then I can come in here and I'm gonna be doing this now. So what I want to talk about now, guys, is can pick a. You gotta be careful if you don't know where you're going, because you might not get there, kind of get back to the kind of end of day discussion of this, this session. And it's a discussion called Surf, don't Swim. And it's a really fun one. It's a little bit difficult to grasp in the beginning, but once you do, you're generate. Okay, we're gonna go ahead and do a test here and see what I sound like as a different voice. We're gonna think about everything different, differently about what you're doing at work and what you're building and even about what your business idea you might. I've had people completely be like, I'm not gonna do my business any idea anymore. I'm out. I'm gonna do something totally different or I'm gonna. It's. It's maybe not totally different, but it's changing the model and. Okay, so I can completely change my voice. I'm. This one is, is actually, you know how you do it completely. Right. I talked yesterday about copying my exact, my exact voice and then changing it to a completely different model. How my velocity. I'm building this Velocity access platform. Right. See here? Yeah. I have to upgrade my plan and you know, as a venue. Venue management software and all these things. I'll talk about that a little bit more and how we scrap the whole thing and why we scrap the whole thing. Okay. If I want that. Let's try this guy, whatever, Generate. But let's talk about this. How many have any of you never swam in the ocean? Okay, we're going to go ahead and do a test here and see what I sound like as a different voice. Right. So you can do that. Obviously you can. Obviously. Anybody, everybody's swam in the ocean. Nikhil gets to do it more than we do. But Nikhil, when you go to the beach, do you feel like you're stronger than the ocean? Definitely not. Yeah, definitely not. It's. It's. It's a lot stronger than you. So I'll also just do text to speech. Right. And so this is possibly what you were doing. And by the way, when you swim for about 10 minutes, you burn about 100 calories. Okay, so you're creating some. Did you go in and create a custom voice for yourself in 11 Labs Energy while you do that? And, and that's great. Right? Hope you guys do that a lot this summer. I'm excited to swim. How much energy do you think a tsunami creates relative to a swimmer? Is that 100 times more? No. Yeah. You'll want to do that. You want to go in and you want to add a voice. So you are a thousand times more, 20 times more. What do you guys think? Go. So here I can do text to speech and I can just say, hey, watermelon. Which I know is not what you're trying to do, right? But you can do like, hey, Michael, 20 billions times one.
Let's say a hundred thousand.
Yeah, billions. I've asked Thomas is closest. I have asked Chad GPT and it says 4 billion right. After some discussion. Tsunami is about. Now obviously there's a lot of whatever, you know, how are you today? A variation there, but my discussion with it about 4 billion times stronger. But yeah, the bottom line is there's no okay. And then I can choose a voice that I've made a way. You're beating it. You're not beating the ocean, you're not beating the tsunami. There's no way you're going to do it. So AI coming in right now is the biggest tsunami that has ever hit our planet. That's cloning my. Hey, Michael, how are you today? Right, right. Other than maybe the great flood with Noah, but that aside. Hey, Michael, how are you today? Slow down a little bit. Regenerate the, you know, the transformation that it's going to do to our society is going, hey, Michael, how are you today? Yeah, so it's using my voice. You can to be very, very substantial. Bigger than the industrial revolution, bigger than the Internet, bigger than mobile phones, bigger than social media, bigger than, you know, Elon and all that he's trying to do. Right. They clone that voice in about 10 seconds. You come in and you just create, click, create new voice. AI is, is going to change the world. Even though Elon will probably try to take. Which is somewhere. Here we go. Add new voice credit for open AI but that's another discussion. I love Elon. I think he's fun to watch. He's entertaining at the very least. But let's apply this to business now. Okay? So you know, I'm calling your Voice with only 10 seconds of audio, right? Record audio. Okay. I'm just gone me. What? What? Let's, let's, let's think about this. So when you're in a tsunami, you don't want to go ahead and talk and say some different things here. Super califragilistic sex. Want to be swimming? If you're in. If you're in a tsunami, you don't want to be swimming. You're going to get smashed against the rocks if you're in the city where the tsunami is coming in, you're going to get hurt, Some bad things are going to happen. But if you know how to surf, you actually know that tsunamis create amazing surf conditions. And so you and I just need about three more seconds and we will have enough sample here. You'll go out there and you'll put on some special gears that you don't drown, whatever, and life jackets, things like you can create a longer sample for sure. But, you know, continue that because it sucks a little bit harder during that time. It wants to pull you down. But ultimately I'm recording for a better clone. Right, but that is enough. And now we've created a voice, and tsunamis create incredible, incredible opportunities for surfing. So if AI is a tsunami and we want to be surfing instead of swimming during a tsunami, how do we do that? So it's done. Now it won't let me use it because I've already created enough customer, you know, my maximum amount of custom voices. Let's examine a couple companies. Let's talk about Netflix. What kind of company is. I pay $5 a month for 11 labs, guys. And you can do this and you can API in Netflix. What do they do?
Videos, Movie streaming.
Movie streaming. Okay, what else? Anything else?
Production. Movie production. TV production.
Yeah, movie production. Video streaming. Anything else? Data analysis. They're looking at all their users, content preferences. Yeah, you do it. But what you're going to want to do, Thomas, is you're probably going to want to go in, create your own clone, name it, and then, you know, use your API content preference. Very good, Preston. Anything else? They're an Internet company, right? Obviously. And then instruct, instruct Replit to. To say, okay, hey, we're gonna, we're gonna use this that, you know, you could, you could keep diving in. They're a media company. They're all kinds of things, but they actually. Their court voice. And when I. Anytime I say watermelon, we're going to do this. Now that's technology. Preston nailed it on the head. Their core technology is they are a content. Pretty advanced thing to do. To have it do, you might have to pull in the Runway ML. What I would try to do is do it outside of replit first. Right. Try to use Runway ML preference engine. That is what they do. They don't actually build their streaming capabilities. They don't build the Internet that they, you know, that they run on. They don't, you know, they don't even build the media. Now I know they have production right but they are. They're mostly using other people's media, Right. They do have an arm of their business that loses a billion dollars a year as they use a video, create a video and get a. A result that rate, you know, as they create stuff. And that's fine. That's part of their strategy. They can afford to do that, but works and then just tell replit to automate that. Right? Okay, I did this. I did this. I did this. They don't pay. They don't pay to send people to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean to, you know, repair the Internet cables when they need to be upgraded or whatever. They don't send people. They don't send satellites up into space. This. I did this. I did this. Now build a system for me that automates this so that it can immediately generate that. Right. So I'm not an expert at that, by the way. You know, I'm, I'm, you know, to help improve SpaceX and that type of stuff. Right? They are surfing not, I don't know, a hundred percent if that's the right way to do that, but based on my. On the Internet, they're surfing on that technology. Okay. And so if the Internet gets stronger, does. Pretty informed, but, you know, not sure. Yes.
No, that's good.
Does Netflix get stronger or weaker? Does it become a better product or a worse product? Yeah, it becomes better, right? If. If Elon, as I got in there.
And started building, like, hey, I want you to change the audio and then I want you to automatically create subtitles and captioning. And I'm like, oh, I think it's. I'm asking it to all of a.
Sudden says, hey, the Internet's free for the whole world, right? Is that good or bad for Netflix? Great, Great, right? If Akamai, the service that actually provides the streaming, you know, provides better, you know, to do too much just without giving it more instruction technology. So now we can stream 8k and 16k and whatever the next ks are, right? Yeah. You're pushing the limits here, which is why I love that. I love that you're pushing the limits. You're doing the right. You're doing. Is that good or bad for Netflix? It's great. Okay, so surfing means that you take the technology you're built on or next to, right? And if that technology gets better, you get better. The right thing here. So. So keep that up. All right. The Echoes logo and sign in, right? It rises and you're sitting on top of your surfing on top of it, right? You rise, right? With it not well positioned, bared to the edge of the screen, you're swimming. If technology gets better and you get left behind and you're sinking, right? Tsunami comes in and you're left behind, you get smashed or you drowned, whatever. You choose your fate. Okay? The tsunami took you out. Okay, the logo is too close to the left. So let's look at another company. AT&T. Is AT&T a surfing or. And the sign in is too far from the right. All right, so we'll let it figure that out. And by the way, when I tell it something like that, guys, a swimming company.
Didn't they used to be Bell?
Yeah, originally.
Swimming.
The swimmings. When I say it's too close to the left or too far from the right, it. It will actually then ask itself, okay, I think I heard two swimmings. Does anybody think surfing? Does anybody think they're surfing? I'm curious if you elf using its chain of thought reasoning, well, what is the right distance? Since it should be.
Do I. I mean, I think Starlink could come out with an update to blast Internet to Everybody's phones. And AT&T's gone.
There you go. So technology around them gets better, right? Oh, well, most apps do this and this and this. So let me just apply it. Boom. And then it should. It should figure that out pretty quickly here. Okay, we're going to open this. They get smashed, right? But you're exactly right. What if Elon just literally comes out and he says, hey, you know what? I'm going to make Internet up really cool. Or quickly. We're going to go three days. $10 for everybody on the planet. Right? You just like. I just. My goal is to have. You know, let's look at this one right here. I think this is a pretty good one. Plan, validate, multitask. Everybody use it. And I want. I want 4 billion customers, right? Or countries. You can pay this amount, I'll make it free for your whole country. You know, like, he could do crazy. That's the kind of thing that Elon would do, right? To make everybody be able to have access to the Internet. Payment processing. We haven't gone over any stripe yet. We could talk about it a little bit. You don't have to use stripe finish your core product killer website, Automate marketing. Yeah. So tomorrow, guys, and man ATT and T Mobile and Verizon and all these people will be like, holy crap. People don't need our stuff anymore. We're out. Right? Like, that would be terrible. Terrible. So, yes, AT&T spends billions of dollars building towers and 4G, 5G, 6G and upgrading. We're going to keep doing this, test everything like a customer, right? Doing all these things. They spend billions of dollars every year trying to maintain and build their network, you know, launch and start selling. We'll be talking about sales and marketing tomorrow. And technology is out there right now that can come up and just. We'll be, you know, working on scaling and improving. We'll talk about app security. Right? That's a big one that we want to demolish them. Okay, all right, here's another example. We'll show you another example of surfing. Okay, I'll share my screen again for a second here, see if I can find my, my screen that I'm looking for. We're going to go to Facebook and we're going to visit. I make sure we, we get in there. But. But again, it's just kind of iterating and continuing down the process of, okay, this, you know, hey, look, we got this working now, right? You just visit one of these here. Just kind of say, I don't. This doesn't feel good. This doesn't feel good. This doesn't feel good. Until right here. We'll click on my mom's profile here. Okay. My mom is actually in Africa right now. She goes about once a year and. Or somewhere, right? Sometimes she goes to India or to Alaska with the bears or in. Sometimes she goes to two or three of these places here. Feels good right now. It looks actually amazing on mobile. Look at that. That's pretty cool. Now here's the problem. This looks good. But, but she just has always loved taking pictures and video. That's funny. This, that's actually a funny video. She posts them every day and there's. Where, where are all the menu items? Right? So I'm gonna have to, I'm gonna have to do this. I love this video. I don't know why that's so funny to me. And, and she just, she uses her phone and she takes videos and she love to say on mobile post. My mom, by the way, is the least like influencer type person you can imagine. Look how many likes she has on this. 1.4 thousand likes on this video that she just posted a couple days ago. All right. She has 610,000 followers. She makes about $20,000 a month just posting videos. Menu items disappear. See attached screenshot. Then I'm going to come back here. I'm going to say full size, actually. Yeah, yeah. You know what? I'm not going to tell it what to do. I know what I want it to do, but. And what it's probably going to do if I want to see if it figures up her trips. She doesn't even edit them. Like, she just takes the video and then uploads it out on desktop and with like, usually relatively crappy captions. She's not great at it. And that's fine. That's fine. She's. She's amazing. She's my mom. Love her to death. Right. But I want to. I'm just trying to point out the fact that she's not somebody who's studied this craft and is just like amazing at it, but she is surfing hard. Second screenshot, the third core on a bunch of things, obviously all the same things that Netflix and things aren't. Right. You've got the Internet, you've got sign in button is too far from social media. Those are big waves and things that she's surfing. Right. But is she. Is she, you know, does she pay any money to help improve Facebook's content algorithm? Right. Okay. So sometimes it thinks it does something, but it actually did it to mobile and you have to give it some conditional formatting for different screen sizes. So let's see if it could fix both of those. Those problems at once. But I was. No, not at all. Does she pay any money to improve the Internet? Does she pay any money to do anything? An influencer is by definition just a surfer. They just, they as. As their platforms and technologies get better. Right? They get better. Now if your platform goes out of existence like TikTok or something like that, want it to do is create a. Is create a hamburger menu right here. So I'll probably push the sign in over here, put a hamburger menu and maybe drop the sign in. In there. But yeah, anyway, and then maybe I want the top to stay so when I scroll down.
