Now the recording's going, so welcome. Here we go. All right, go ahead, John.
Oh, so just a quick review of what I did. I think I might tickle you with some, some ideas that would help me and who knows, there may be even a little bit that would help you as, you know, you're in your next courses and whatever, as guys plays with this. But I'm just gonna say real quick, I had some objectives to learn in this course. It's already exceeded those. Just understanding how some of this stuff can be snapped together. I've done a little bit of hacking and website development in the past years ago, you know, weekend hacker. And what this could put together effortlessly with just typing commands. I'm blown away. Absolutely blown away.
Yeah, it's kind of not even close to what you thought was possible. And like, it's just amazing how, how expanded you're just like, oh, my gosh, like I said earlier today, it's, it's, it's really insane how you can do anything. And that's not just some, like, you know, Tony Robbins. You could do anything. You know, rah, rah. Like, no, you can do anything, like, for real. And, and that's pretty cool. It's pretty cool to be able to, to be able to walk into a room and have somebody say, you know, I was wondering if we could do this. And you're like, I know we can. I know how to do it, right? And the real skill, the real skill that comes with experience, right? And John, you're, you're really good. I love how you have a sharp mind, right? You're good at catching on quickly and understanding this goes. But, but understanding how it all fits together, right? You know, playing, seeing the whole board, the whole chess board, being able to say, okay, all right, if I move this here, then, yeah, well, I'm really think about is I'm going to move that night later on, and that's going to open it up so that the bishop comes out, you know, but the scene and how it all fits together is the, is the real skill that, that every company in the world wants, right? Whether it's your own startups or, you know, Apple, they want people that can see, you know, the whole system and kind of project out the whole system. And so now that you understand at least a little better how the whole system actually works and talks to each other, right? We've got databases and you've got queries and you've got, you know, these things and authentication systems and you've got, you know, tables and you understand relationships a little bit better now. You're sitting in a room and someone's talking about something related to software or some business problem, you say, well, there's that relation. There's that relation. I bet we could whip something up in 20 minutes here that actually shows this for us.
Right?
I'm going to show you guys some cool tools today that allow you to do that even faster. Like crazy stuff like that makes replit look like child's play almost. So. So that's fun. We're gonna, we're gonna take a little bit more advance, so. But yeah, John, it sounds like you wanna, you wanna do some show and tell, is that right?
I'd love to if you want to, yeah. Do it.
Let's do it. Show us what you've been working on. Show us some of the things that maybe were hard. All right, what you ran into, how you overcame it. And then, you know, obviously you can ask any questions and we'll just kind of, you know, review and learn together. It really is so helpful to look at other people's stuff.
So I deployed this late last night. I figured it's finally time to hit the deploy button. So I'm going to go to where we're dealing with full screen and I'm just going to kind of go through some of the things that I put together. I was having a lot of times with these menu items logging in, logging out. I was getting in a lot of circles. I worked my way out of them. I don't want to say I'm proud that I was able to finally figure it out because it was kind of painful. But as I did that, I learned a lot about how to communicate with this thing. As I was going through one of the things, I was like, I'm logging in as providers, as parents, whatever. Who did I log in with last? I said, show me who's logged in in the header or something very simple like that. Seemingly like real time. I've got part of the header. Who's logged in? Provider. Provider 02. What are the test providers I have done now? Is that in real life?
I don't know.
That's useful, but it's certainly useful for me as I'm playing with this and from different sides of the table on how this might work. I couldn't believe how easy that was to do something like that. You know, when I'm. When I'm, you know, trying to solve simpler tasks that are taking me all kinds of dialogue. Another thing it did. I want to know. I. I said I want to know what, what screen I'm on. So I had to put a bar under whatever the active screen is.
Boom.
It did that just like instantly. So I just, like, did little things like that. I was like, wow, this takes intuitive. This was the mind blowing part. After I kind of got the navigation kind of figured out its stuff, I thought, well, let's just put a bunch of content and pages in.
Yeah.
So we're down to the footers, looked at some of these things that I said, okay, let's create a safety guidelines page with best practices or best of breed in child care industry. Boom. I've got like all this stuff. I don't know if it's real. I don't know if it passes a sniff test, but I got to tell you, at first glance, it looks pretty good.
You know what? I'm reading some of it and I'm with you. Right? The phone number. The phone numbers. I wonder if those phone numbers are right.
They're. They're legit.
I look, that's so cool. I mean, obviously 911 is right, but that's so cool. It even pulled in Nevada and Washoe County. Right. Like, right. That's so cool.
So that was from a prompt. Give me a safety guidelines page based on best practices child care. It, like in real time. This was on the site and it's a menu item. So then I did the exact same prompt and exchange safety guidelines with provider requirements.
Yeah.
Boom. So I don't know how much that this is just fluff and real or how, you know, if this really gets past the sniff test. I don't really care, to be honest. I was amazed that it looks like it's relatively, you know, kosher and happened, like almost in real time.
Well, John, you're. What you're doing is you're passing the sniff test, right? That's. That's a lot of what we're talking about here. The fact in order to go from, you know, I have an idea to I want money. The step right before money is your customer has to pass the sniff test. Right. They have to go through and be like, I don't. This looks awesome. This, this is super helpful. I'm learning cool things. Yeah, I definitely want to be part of this. These guys look like really put together. Right. Super impressive. And so you're passing that sniff test so that you can go from, you know, idea to money that. I mean, your next step would be money here. Now, granted, your business is pretty complicated here. It is a little bit complicated. Right. And so you'd have to probably. I mean, there might be some registrations and some other licenses and things you have to put together. And, you know, we certainly can. I don't know if we need to in this course with this group here, but, you know, know how to put together an LLC and legal documents and all those things. But. But short of that, you know, you've got a business that's just about ready to rock. It's cool.
Well, some of it is. I mean, and I agree with you, if you were to take this to somebody and whether it be asking for money or proof of concept, I think you'd get fairly far. Certainly considering started this without even an idea a couple of days ago.
You wouldn't tell them that, though. I've been working on this for eight months and it's finally ready. And they'd be like, yeah, it looks great. You've been working hard for those eight months. Good job. Like, telling someone in two days is like, absolutely. It doesn't even compute, right? It doesn't compute for most people. They're like, there's no way. That's impossible. I had somebody write me today on the way here. They just sent me a LinkedIn message and said, hey, you know, I was looking at Jenny API. He's like, I can't even. I have no idea how you did this. Like, how is this even possible that you built out this big of a business in the timeframe that you have? Like, there's no way. Like, are you. Is this, Is this true? Like, and now you know it is, right? It's not, it's not just me. It's, you know, you did it. You did it. And I taught you 48 hours ago. I didn't know you 48 hours ago or whenever that was, right? That's.
I think that's really the punchline of how amazing this is. Now, the other side of this, you and I know there's some huge gaps. One of the things that needs to happen, one of many things that needs to happen here is I need to have an API that's going to do distance between the child care provider, between the parent, do the math, figure the maps. Now, I thought about going down that, but I knew I was going to go in the weeds for a long time to get it figured out. So I skipped that for now. But I can go back in there and when I get a slow Saturday and want to test a few times, I'll go ahead and figure that out. But so you and I know there's some gaps but as far as throwing up a bunch of pages and look at smart to the novices out there. Oh my God, that was easy.
Yeah, yeah. And even, and not even just looking smart to the novices, I think you're looking smart to the smart people. Like, you're a smart person, John, and you're impressed. I'm a smart person and I'm impressed. I'm impressed that you got this to this point already. Like, it's, it's amazing. It really is. Like, really, this is. You were to be commended for, for figuring this out. You mean you're thinking through it and the colors are different than when they started, the layout is clean. And, and like I'm enjoying what I'm seeing here. The, the, the, the amount of content that, you know, the way it's written. Now obviously AI is making a lot of decisions for you and helping you and it's using best practices. But, but man, this is really cool. It's really, really awesome. And yeah, you're right. There's definitely going to be some, some gaps in there. The, you know, for example, if you go to your dashboard, I click on the dashboard really quick here for the provider. Like, one of the things that you'd want to do is you'd be like, okay, yeah, here's the provider profile. But that's all we've created. Now we need to see. Okay, now, now I need, now I need you to create the section where I see all of my children and all the people. You know, I need all of the information about. You know, we don't, we haven't built that yet. Right. And so that needs to be there. And then. Hey, have you built an email system for this yet? Nope. Right. And so you're going to need an email system.
Yeah, it's, that's pretty, I've actually worked at. That's getting pretty close. I, I'm going to ask you this because I typically use this almost every hour of my life. The 80, 20 rule that it takes 80% of the time to do the last 20%. I don't think I'm quite there yet. But like if I was going to try to take this to tuition, I think I'm only a day or two around away from being to that, that, that 80% where, you know, or that you know where it takes 80% to do that last 20%. But maybe with AI, maybe that rule is not even valid anymore.
You know, Let me, I can't definitively answer that. Obviously it's subjective. Right. But, but the reality is you know, with my Jenny API course, my goal was to launch Friday, right? I said, I'm starting Thursday, I want to launch Friday. And I missed the goal. And the reason I missed the goal was probably because of the 8020 rule, right. I really had. I probably was more 9010, right? In that ratio where I was like, the last 10% is going to take a huge amount of time. And. And it was that last percent. Like, I had to get Stripe working perfectly. I had to get emails working perfectly. I had to get the, you know, I had, I had, I had multiple types of emails. I had registration emails, I had forgot password emails. I had, you know, links that had to be there. I had, I had all these different things that needed to be, you know. Right. They needed to be. Right so that I could really understand what was going on. And anyway, long story short, I don't think you're. I don't think you're too far off there in terms of the 80, 20. It's the little details that matter. Right. And part of it is just testing it. Right. Like, by the way, what happens happens when you click preview listing right there. I'm curious over there on the left.
Yeah, it just goes back to the.
So that doesn't work. It. Yeah. So obviously, like, those are the types of things where you're like, okay, I haven't clicked that button yet. And then you realize, oh my gosh, like that, that requires an entire new system that it hasn't built. You know, and so there's, there's, there's things like that that come back. But, but what I've got about.
I've got about eight things like that that are on my list that, that are going to take a while and because of my skill set that I'm going to go to the Weeds and they're going to go slow and painfully. Which that's how I like to, you know. So one thing I want to share with you, John, because I have a feeling that others may have already sitting and you may have dialogue on it, but it became a friction point. I put pictures in these. I did it mostly by going to the. What's that thing called the segment or.
That's not the right word.
When you highlight what you want to.
Change a element selector, Y element.
I would, I would, I would do the element selector. I'd click on the picture and then I would say, please replace this with the attach. Well, that worked fine, but then it wanted to randomize it or it wanted to put them all the same thing. And I realized that eventually after some friction points, I pretty much to do it right, had to label each one with ID and make sure that picture stayed static. Otherwise they would float around.
Let me give you an example. No, I understand completely. I want to check something. I think I know what the problem is. Okay, so what I want you to do is I want you to go to your, go to replit and then let's look at the database. Look at the database and then let's click on provide. Is it provider profiles? What are those? Are those provider profiles? Yeah, let's see here. Okay, so we've got a few of this. So provider AO1. Provider AO2, LLC. Yep.
So.
So here's what you would do here. Here's how I would fix it so it looks like. So, yeah, go and scroll over. Keep scrolling, keep scrolling, keep scrolling. ID reviews, provider id. Scroll back over. Stop Just a little bit. It's a little bit slower. I just want to see that can keep going. Okay. Yeah. So here's what's happened. It created these provider profiles, but the image, there's no field for the image here. And so it's hard coding those things in a very, very weird way. And so, you know, you can say to the agent is, you could say, hey, you know, I, I keep having problems with these images and it looks like you're hard coding them. Instead of actually tying them to the provider profiles table in the database, let's add a profile image to the table in the database so that we can do this properly. Right. And so that's really what's happening when you're trying to, when you're trying to, when you're fighting the system a lot and it's not making sense to you. What you do is you go in the database and you look at that thing. Welcome, Seth. You, you, you look at that thing and you say, hey, is, you know, is that image attached anywhere to anything? Right? So like if I go into one of my apps and I, where I have, you know, a profile and I have a profile picture, profile image in one of my apps, I can go into the database and I can click on my Prof. My users tab and it shows, oh yeah, there's a profile picture, you know, reference. And so now, okay, it knows exactly what it's doing. So what you're trying to do is you've got a nice database that's trying to compete with hard coded stuff and that's never work. Does that make sense?
Yeah. So I think I'll go back and redo that. I Eventually got it where it was doing it, it was linking it, but I believe it was still hardcore to the id. And at least that made it static where they weren't floating around swapping, you know, whatever, by the way. And I'm just gonna say I was, I had never done any AI image generation. All the images on here were with like one command in grock and grab it and go. I didn't, I mean, I. And I mean they look as good as like any bad website. You know what I mean?
Yeah.
I'm not saying they look good, don't get me wrong. But for me just wanting to get an image in there for placement to, to, you know, so I could get on working, I was like, you know, these are, these are like, these aren't terrible. And it was like, you know, a two second command into gro.
Yeah. Yeah, that's awesome. The only thing you'll notice is look at that girl's hand. Her left hand and her right hand, the one grabbing the flower also, they're a little, they're a little weird.
Oh yeah. There's all kinds of. And if you go deeper, I'll tell you, I didn't even notice this. I didn't even notice the Grox stamping until like 15 hours after I placed it on there because it just, I mean that's not where my mind was. I was like, I didn't care what the image looked like. I just wanted to get something in there as a placeholder to block it all.
And I'd actually think that in this case using AI is the appropriate thing to do with using kids pictures. You don't put kids pictures online. So like you would never put your patients or your, your child care's kids. You would never, ever, ever do that. So I think this is the right approach.
Yeah, interesting. Well, I proved that's, that's good. I walked into that by accident. Seth. I never even like thought of anything like that. I just, I just wanted a picture placeholder and was pretty impressed in a few seconds with. Came up with just, you know, and.
You'Ve got your little chat assistant that's got a little image now it looks like.
Did you.
So I put, I told. That actually came from chat GPT. I said basically follow the prompts you gave us yesterday for logo. And it came up with that basically stick figures.
Now they're cool. I actually, I think it's cool.
Yeah. So I mean for a placeholder thing, it worked out very well. It didn't have a transparent background. I just went back to chat GPT that was still up. And I said, make the background transparent and then replaced it with that, and boom, it worked. And then when I went. When I deployed it, the favicon didn't work. I said, make the favicon worker. I mean, funny is a little bit better command than that, but not much. And then, boom.
The favicon's working so good, man. Yeah, I can see. I can see it. I see the little. I see the little tiny logo up there. That's awesome. It's really cool. Well, I don't know about you, zine. Are you impressed? I'm impressed. I'm impressed. Seth, welcome. We started just a few minutes late today because I was trying to find a room here at the University of Utah, which is enemy territory, as you know, and had to. Had to, you know, find a. Find a place. But anyway, I'm here. We're all settled now, and that's awesome. Thank you for sharing that, John. We'll go over. Yeah, we might look at your stuff a little bit more, but it's really, really helpful to have you do that. Well, I'll click your stop sharing button now. I want to do the same thing really quickly. Xena, are you ready to show something? Are you ready to show off your website a little bit more? You feel further along?
Yes.
Okay, hold on. Where am I? Let me go back to Zoom. Let me share.
And, Seth, with you. I'm expecting to be able to record my whole life story by the time I'm looking at yours and ordering a book on it.
I have a new idea that I'm.
I love it. I love it.
And it's actually. It's actually really important. So I'll. I'll share after.
Yeah, I know. Let's. Let's. Let's do that in a second here. All right, Zena, show us.
Show us.
Okay, so I showed you this, right? And then I noticed a bunch of not great things. And I was trying to figure out. But I also don't want to manually do it in the grog or whatever it is in replic, because I want to take pictures of the actual things. But look for the summer collection of flowers. Zinnias. This is not a zinnia. This is a sunflower. Sunflower should have been here.
Will those books like a sunflower?
No, no. But there's some things in here that I just think it doesn't make sense. And then somewhere else.
So can you pause for a second before you keep going? I want to. I want to check really quick. So scroll down a little bit. These are. I want to. I want to just ask you, what are these? Are these products? Are these flat? Like, what are these in your database? Do you know what these are in your database?
These are available products for sale when. When customers come to our website and see that I have zinnias available.
And. Okay, so I want you to prove that. I want you to show me in the database right now where that looks. So go up to the database tab right up there at the top. Yeah, right at the top of that. Yeah, right there. Yep. And we're going to click. See my data? Okay. All right. Click. Flowers. I'm guessing that's what that is. I'm just, you know, assuming here. So go to the sunflowers. There's the Sunflowers, line 69. Id 69. Right there. See that? And then we're going to scroll over to the right. Go ahead. And just going to drag to the right so that we can. Yeah, yeah, scroll over.
Scroll over.
Let's see if there's an image. Yeah, there's the image. So see that? See that image URL. John. That's missing. Right? And that would fix that problem in a heartbeat. Okay, that's great. So that's great, Xena. So this is fantastic. So what you could do. So now scroll back all the way over. So here's how you would update those pictures. You would take a picture, maybe you generate it in chat GPT or grok. Or maybe you bring your own to the table. Right? And what you're going to do is you're going to say, Please update flower id 69 with this picture of a sunflower.
So I would attach the attachment here and I would tell it to update it with the picture of mine.
Exactly. And you understand why I said ID 69.
Yeah, because that's what it is.
That's what it is. Exactly. It's very good. Sorry, you have to say, yeah, flower ID 69. Right. Or, hey, please update the sunflowers product with this image. Right. You could even say that and it would understand. Oh, where are the products? Oh, the products are flowers. But. But if you're. If you're specific, right. So that's the lazy way to do it. If you're specific, please update the dahlias. Or. Sorry, no, they're not the dahlia. The dahlias. It's called dahlia. See that? It's ID 70. Right. So the dahlias picture. And I want you to now do parentheses.
Okay.
Flowers, table id. It doesn't. It doesn't have to Be capitalized. You can. And then close the parentheses. And then with the following picture.
Oh, Or.
Or you could actually just say that. Pick your. Choose your picture. Go ahead and choose your picture. Find it. Find a Dalia.
I don't know if I have any Dalia pictures in my computer, but then pick.
Then pick anything. Just. Just grab a picture and do it. Just go to the top and grab one of those, you know, whatever images.
We'll go with the Strawberries.
Perfect. Use the strawberries. Yep. And. Yeah. And then just click go.
Okay.
Did you do a rollback 50 minutes ago?
Yeah.
Did you just break a bunch of stuff? What happened? I'm curious.
No, I just got on, and nothing was showing, and so I just did a rollback, and I was like, show me what was there.
Don't do that again. So rollback means you undid a bunch of things that you fixed before. Right. You just did a bunch of work, and you can't. You can't redo it. You can't undo a rollback. Okay. If it's not showing, click refresh. Refresh at the top of the screen. Never use the rollback feature. Never use the rollback feature unless you've completely broken your system. Okay. That's okay. This is why we. This is why we learn right now. I do love that your database is set up. You know, I noticed you've shared a beautiful image of fresh strawberries. But you've asked me to update the dahlias. Picture the bars. Now, first, let me check the current Dahlia's engineer database, and I'll update it with the strawberry image requested. So it's interesting. It's saying, you know, I'll do this, but I just want you to know what you're doing here. Yep.
You asked me to put strawberries and dahlias.
Want me to do this? You know, and. Yeah, I do want you to do this. Please do it. Okay. All right. Now upload the Strawberry image client folder. It's like. It's a strawberry image. I just want you to know it's a strawberry.
I just want to update this just to see how.
Right now we're just gonna check.
Now that I know. Now that I know, I can absolutely go in here and update everything. And I don't think my photos are updated to my computer, but let's.
Well, yeah. Are you on your computer or my computer?
My computer.
Okay, that's fine. So let's. Let's say, though. Let's. I want. I want to go through this exercise. This is important. Right? Let's say you have 80 types of flowers in here. So you could either, you know, go on Google or go on Grog or whatever, go find some pictures and upload them one by one. How else could we do. How else could we do this? And I'm opening this question to the whole class. Anybody can answer. Zena, you can answer whatever. How.
I'm thinking that I'm just going to do one long paragraph of saying, hey, ID this one for this one, and just make a long paragraph and see if it does it all in once, all in one.
What if you don't have those images, though, yet?
No, I do have them from previous years.
I can. Absolutely. I'm saying what if. What if you don't have any images and you need to create 80 flower images?
Then I'll go to Grok and ask it to give me a realistic picture of tulips or.
So that's going to take. So that's going to take you for each picture. Let's say you're working really efficiently, probably a minute a piece, maybe two minutes apiece. Okay.
Let's say, for example, that you have 3,000 pictures that you need.
Yeah. What if you have 3,000 pictures, Zena, and you only have an hour to finish your job? How do you do it?
First of all, I would never do that to myself, because that's insane.
No, it's not. No, it's not. You got to think through the puzzle. Build the system, guys. Build the system. How do we build a system that can do that for us?
I don't know.
Do we have no idea AI or any automations? We built some APIs yesterday, right? We set up with John. We set up his OpenAI API, and we set it up so that you can now talk to it. But what if instead of doing that, what if you said, hey, I want you to create a system that will automatically generate good images from grog, from chat, GPT, from whatever, for each of these things, automatically and systemically, one by one. And you could give it one task and you have 3,000 images like Seth said. Maybe it would take. Now, maybe running 3,000 images might take, you know. You know, 21 hours to do. It might. It might actually take that and cost you a little bit in AI credits. But. But it'd be done. You could build a system that would automatically do this. Okay, so which one did you update here?
Dahlia. I have no strawberry picture in my dahlias.
Okay, that's perfect. So, okay, so this is really good. This is really good. So what I want you to do now is I want you to Wait, wait, go back.
I know. I'm just giving it a second. Yeah, it's still not.
No, it's not. It's not. It's not working. If it's not working, it's not working. So what I want you to do is I want you to click the element selector.
Which is where down at.
The bottom where it says message agent, there's a little target.
Okay.
Yep.
Click that.
Okay.
Then go over and put hover your mouse over the dahlias, the picture where the picture should be and click. And then go ahead and type to the agent. Here's what we're going to type. You're going to say, is this image being pulled from the database from the flowers table, Question mark? Don't send it yet. The strawberries image is not showing up. It's just a blank image.
Oops.
Yeah, image is not showing up. It's just blank. Enter. So one of the things that you have to do. Guys, it's just a little bit annoying with replit unless you tell it. Unless you preempt it early on. Really, really early on. Like right at the beginning, say, hey, use a database. I want this to be data fueled all the way through. I want to start with the database is it will build everything in the memory storage, hard coding it so that it looks good and feels good. But then to actually get it functional, you have to then convert everything and say, all right, is this really pulling from the database? Is this updating? All right, I can see the issue we need to debug why the image isn't showing correctly. Let's fix this. So that's cool. It is pulling from the database. So that's great. But our. Our update to the database didn't stick. The ID of dahlias is 100, not 85, as we found earlier. Wait, what? Go to the database. What? Go to the database. Yeah, we said 70 clearly. All right.
Yeah, that's 70, not 80 or.
Oh, here we go.
Here we go.
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
Did I mess it up? Did I say 80?
Push, push, pause.
Where do I push pause?
Right here.
Right there.
Yep. Okay, we're going to just stop it. Okay, so go ahead and click message agent.
Okay.
Verify the change by checking the doll's entry. Now uses the strawberry image URL. Go back to webview. I want to just see if it fixed it.
Go back to flowers, Flowers and summer. And there is.
It worked. It worked, it worked, it worked, it worked. Okay, you know what? Push resume. Let it finish its thing. Yeah, and then go ahead and start typing and say, I want you to verify that images for flowers are not hard coded and that they are being pulled from the database. I want you to verify that images for flowers are not hard coded.
One word or two?
Two words. Fine. One was. It'll understand either way. Are not hard coded and are pulling from the database. Enter. Okay.
I just want to clarify that I type like a dinosaur, so you're gonna have to speak slowly.
You know what? You're not the slowest typer I've had in this class, so you're doing fine.
You're doing. You're doing great.
All right, let me verify that they are being pulled dynamically from the database rather than being hard coded. I'll examine the relevant code components. Flower card, flower catalog, API route, look at the storage implementation. Yeah, it's doing exactly what we want it to do here. Okay, bottom line is, guys, you don't want hard coded things unless you want it hard coded. And there's a few reasons why you might want to do that, but they.
Are definitely what is hard compared to other things.
What is hard coded?
Yeah, explain that to me.
Hard coded means you put it into the code instead of telling it to reference something. Right. So you could just say in the code, all right, for this card, I want you to use this image. For this card, I want you to use this image. Do you understand that?
Yeah.
The next way to do it is. All right, on this page, we're going to have an array of flowers. We have three in a row. And if you scroll down, there's more. Right, we're going to have an array of flowers. For each flower card, there is a flower ID image. So it's not the actual image. It's referencing another piece of data that makes it dynamic so that you can then go into a. An admin or something and then update everything. So the next step you could do is you could say, okay, so it's good. We got the right answer. This is fantastic. So the next thing you could do, which you haven't created yet, is you need an admin. You don't want to have to. Every time you're changing a picture, drag it into here and do it. You want to be able to hand it over to Tammy and say, hey, Tammy, login as the admin. I've made you an admin. You can go and you can add flowers, you can change the prices, you can change the picture, you can change our quantity. You can do whatever you Want. You don't want to teach Tammy this. She didn't want to have to get into replit to change things. You want a real right? So I'm going to start. Yeah, I'm going to show you. I'm going to stop you sharing for a second here. And you know how you do it?
How?
You asked replit to do it?
I asked replit to make me an admin.
Exactly.
Here's the thing, by the way, Xenia, we're going to a tabernacle. I got some tickets. I. I like. I got a text from the tabernacle choir, and I could go, and. And I. I beat it. I got in. I got some tickets. I never get tickets for that. For the last, like, five years, I've clicked that button every time I get it, and it's always like, sorry, they're sold out.
I'm busy that night.
Did you serve in the military? Who's talking to you?
Who served in the military?
I have no idea who's talking. I know. I have no idea which AI is talking to us right now. All right. But that's okay. Let's jump into replit spring corral concert. That's what we got into. All right. So that's cool. I did it. We're going to look at an admin, and you know what? We're going to do it like this. So. Echoes app.com. this is an app that I built. This was the first app that I built actually on replit, right? Many, many, many moons ago, which is less than a year ago. But. But it's a while ago, and it's like, okay, and. And here's my story. I wanted to build this thing where I could. I could. I showed this to you yesterday a little bit, didn't I, guys? Didn't I pull it up? But I wanted to build this. This pin board, right? And I. I talked to a development firm in the Ukraine. I said, hey, how much will this cost? $110,000. And so I jumped in, I started learning it, and. And I. I. Anyway, I. I saw a post about replit, and I was like, I'm going to try to build something. And all of a sudden, I had this beautiful, amazing, you know, fully functional whatever, right where I can. I can jump in here and. And just do incredible stuff, man. You really do have to go all the way across Vegas or all the way across Nevada to get down to Reno here, man. I. I really love this right here. That's my favorite part of Reno right there. That's the river so anyway, when I, when I, when I built this, I wanted to be able to, you know, control things. Whenever you're building a social network, you have to be able to have some content moderation. What if someone uploads a naked picture? Right? I got to be able to delete that. Obviously I can set up AI to check things or something, but for now it's like, oh, I just want to make sure I can delete something if I see something I don't like, right? And so I built myself an admin. I just said, hey, build an admin. And I had it create some users, right? And then I have the ability to make a person an administrator. Right now I am the admin. I can't turn mine off. I have to have at least one. It automatically created that or locked out the ability for me to turn myself off from an admin, which is cool. That's smart. It's thinking. Because if I turn myself off, then I'll never get it back in the admin again. Right? Now, obviously I could through replit, but through this type of thing, and then I can come in here, I can look at my achievements. So let me show you my profile here. I have three followers. They're all faked and it's all fake data. But I can view my echoes and that takes me into here and it shows, you know, only my echoes that are on the screen here. I can look at my memories and how many, you know, a few, you know. So anybody can look at my profile, right? If I wanted to come in here and I wanted to look at, say, Xena, I can click on her profile. She has one follower. She hasn't been anywhere and that's okay, right? She just made an account just to look at it and didn't actually enter any data. But I've got all these really cool achievements, right? That show like, whoa, you visited, you know, when you get to 100 countries or you're a world explorer after you've been to 10 or, you know, that's a lot of cities. I just, I just, you know, I wasn't thinking about how this, this was all just really testing, you know. Metropolitan master. I visited 13 out of 15 cities. So every time I add a new echo, a new memory, then it's going to update my achievements, right? And, you know, I can look at all these cool, you know, achievements related to different things that are happening. And so instead of having to tell replit every time, like, hey, I want a new achievement for this, I said, well, build me an admin. So that I can build achievements, I can turn them on and off, I can edit them, I can delete them, I can update it, I can create a new one. I can say, all right, this is awesome. And I can, I can do a description of whatever. I can say. This is count based or combination of time and count whatever. I can say, all right, this is all right, I'll get to this. And you know, once you get to 100 followers, like you're popular. That's the name of it, right? Reach, reach 100 followers, right? And then I can, I can create that achievement, right? And that achievement will then show up. There's your popular. It's got a count, a threshold. And so it figured out all the, all the logic behind it about how this is going to work. And there's a table inside of Replit for Echoes that manages all of these things, obviously. But then I can come in here and I can look at my profile and then I can start working towards those new achievements. Now I do have one problem where I think I have to log out and log back in for a new achievement to show up. Yeah, see, I don't see the, the hundred followers thing like, or the, your popular one. But let's try this. Let's test my, let's test my theory. If I log out and then I log back in and then go to profile and then view achievements. Nope, still don't see. Oh, you know what, there was another thing. I have to get another follower. I think somebody else has to come in and follow me. Like the, the, the counter that it's measuring has to actually update and then my progress towards that will already be there. And I, I, I ran into this problem because I wanted it to, you know, if I add a new achievement that's like, hey, visit 201 countries, right? And I've, I've already filled out 198 of them. It was starting, you know, if I added another one, Now I'm at 199, but it would just be at 1. So I wanted it to like update with the existing thing. So it was a bunch of just weird stuff that I was trying to figure out. And so I haven't worked on this actively for many months, right. And I probably will. In fact, I did this so well. I love my logo, I love my Echoes logo. Right? It's so awesome. It's really quite a cool idea, but I just don't have time to do it right now and so I'll probably come back to it at some point. And work on all this amazing stuff. But this was the, this was the full echoes thing where you've got this dolphin for echolocation. See the echolocation thing right there? That's kind of the full logo. You might be interested in this, Seth. Right. The. Some of the, some of the design there. And then there's the peeled back one that I thought this was just so clean and it's kind of an abstract thing. And so that's the thing that you'd see on a. Whatever. But I could cool. I could create like an animation that like pulls it all together and then strips it away and echoes, you know, I could make it cool. A cool thing that makes it feel really nice.
So you should just get rid of the E in front of the C and put the dolphin right there.
Yeah, I thought about those types of things. And again, now we're back to logo creation. Logo opinions.
So I'll just weigh in. Professionally, the main thing you want to have is with your text is clarity. And sometimes cleverness gets in. In front of clarity or get. Or supersedes clarity. So whereas that. That is pretty common. There's a few exceptions to that. It's the O. Sometimes you can abuse the O in text or sometimes you can abuse the. The dot to the I or a few other things. But I wouldn't actually do it when it comes to the first letter because. Because clarity is imperative for memorability.
Yes. That is so clear. Because you don't want someone to accidentally see this, like, thing and then say what's chosen?
Yeah, exactly. Let's show.
Yeah. Like I had that happen so many times. One of my old logos with Seek, with my, my original company, Seek logo images. Seek. We're going to go Seek augmented reality. We're going to see if we can find it. Seek.
I guess you did something fancy with the S and people just say eek.
No, it's even funnier than that. It is. Let's see, there's Deep Seek. That's fun. That would have. That would have been. I would have gotten lots of traffic had deep seat come out while we were going here. Yeah, this is like close to it. You know what I could do? You know what I could do? It would be pretty fun. Oh, it's right there. It's right here. Right. What do you think? What do you think people saw? Yeah, Seco Echo.
Just kidding.
Yeah, it was. It was Seco. Right. I'd have people come up. Like it was supposed to be like a little degree sign to indicate like maps and Things like that. Right. Because it was an augmented reality location based thing. This was it for a while when we added some augmented reality. So we kind of bounced around. This is where we landed, this is where we ended. And it was pretty, I think it was a pretty solid logo by that time. And I've got, you know, jackets and shirts and things. This was it at one point. This was the very beginning. Man, stop. Stop bringing this dang preview. I don't want to see the preview.
The treasure hunt thing.
Yeah, it was the treasure hunt thing, right? Yeah. So here's early stuff. TechCrunch Augmented Reality Treasure hunting app. This was my. This was my stuff here. And so we had this and then we went to this and then we went to this and then we went to this. And you know, that's just part of, that's, you know, you could do the same thing with Google. Everybody changes their, their thing. But, but we'd have people come up to our booth that like, you know, south by Southwest or something and be like, so tell me about seco. And I'd be like, yeah, SECO is this. And you know, I was just roll with it maybe. It's fun.
I have questions.
Yeah, go ahead.
How do I. Obviously you're probably going to get to it, but how do I make my website usable? And then will I be able to manage it from my phone? Because like I said, I am not tech savvy. Clearly I'm struggling really hard and my business partner is even worse than I am. She's like a literal dinosaur. She was born in the 70s. So.
So yes, 100%. So let me, let me show a little bit more here. Let me go into, I'm going to go into Jan A IPI and, and I showed, I think I showed some of this a couple days ago. We'll do it again because you guys are further along now.
You're thinking dinosaurs born in the 70s. Oh, they're the worst.
Yeah.
Actually I think she might, I don't know, how old is she? No, she's definitely born in the 70s.
She's in the 70s. She's old now.
Yeah, she's only 30 years old though, because she was born in the 70s because you know how, you know the.
Mentality in your mind. Yeah. Anyway, all right, so here we go back into the admin here. This is the admin for Gen API. Right. So these are real people and real email addresses. And so I won't click on anybody's passwords or anything like that. But you can see I've got a couple admins in here. I'm, I'm an admin and I've got another admin one. But I can control course content, right. If I want to edit something or if I want to edit a module or the live course, right. If I want to change, you know, a schedule or add a new schedule, right. I can come instead of having to go into the database or tell replit, hey, let's add a new schedule, right? I can just say, hey, you know what, I need to do a new one. And I actually do need to do a new one. And I'm going to add another course time for the 22nd and that's going to finish on the 24th. And you guys are lucky because you're the last ones that get four hour courses. I'm switching to three hour courses because my brain just can't handle it and I think I can go a little faster. And we're, you know, I'll shorten it down a little bit and I think it's still extremely valuable. And we're also going to do 20 seats. We'll see if that works. I'm not going to show it yet because I want to let next week's classes fill up first. The zoom meeting link is going to be the same one. I use the same one every time and then just record it. It's my personal zoom. And then I've got my. I can do a password if I want. And boom, I've created this schedule now. So now it's there, zero to 20. I'm set. So now I can go over to live courses here and I can click on View details and schedule and it's going to show. Oh yeah, see, it's not working properly. I just discovered something. I had never tried that before, but now there's 20 seats available for this next one. 9am to 12pm April 22nd to the 24th. And these ones are ended. I probably don't need to put past sessions in here at some point. I'll say, hey, after the last day or two days after the last day, just remove those from the view. I don't need to show every single session, right? And so, but, but I again, it's all about, hey, replit. This is working. This isn't working. But I clicked a button obviously in replit or sorry, in my, in my admin that doesn't work, which was related to the live courses schedule. And this thing right here, this button, the publicly visible. Yeah, I see it. It's. It's selected again. It didn't even save when I went like this. It didn't. It didn't. It didn't save it. I'm gonna click update again and it says it's been updated successfully. I want to see if it actually has been. Nope, it hasn't been. Right. And so then I can go into replit and say, hey, I'm toggling the publicly visible button and it's not working. Right. So, so anyway, that's, that's that. All right, cool. So admins are awesome. So, Zena, to. Back to, you know, back. To answer your question, yeah, we're gonna, we're gonna build an admin and I'll work with you, right? I'm your husband, so you're gonna get a little bit of extra help or a lot of extra help, right? I'll work with you on this worker, but we'll make it work really nice so that you and Tammy can, can modify it. But the way I'm going to help you is not going to be, hey, I'm going to do it for you. I'm going to say, okay, I want you to say. I want you to say something here. I want you to work on it. And I want, you know, don't break it. And you know, you always have the rollback features if you try something crazy and doesn't work, but it's not very hard, right? Your next thing is to say, hey, can you create an admin for me so that I can edit these things? I need an admin panel so that I can edit and add flowers and, and create, remove, update, delete, crud functionality. C, R U D. Create update. No. Yeah, yes, it's create update, delete and place. Replace. It's replace. Gosh, my brain is tired. My brain's tired for sure. So CRUD functionalities is what you want to have there. And so you just say, hey, I need an admin. So I have crud functionalities and user controls and user functionalities. Now, Zena, if you're going to say that, here's what I want you to say. Also, I need you to say, create user types. I need. I need a. I need normal users and I need admin users. Only admins should be able to see the admin. Okay, you got that?
No, hold on.
So I'm going to type the whole thing for you here into the, into the chat and then you just copy and paste it. But basically what you're going to be doing is you're going to say, all right, I need. Build an admin. For me so that I can have crud functionalities for all flowers and work work flowers, products, workshops, and users. Please create two types of users, normal and admin. Only admins should be able to see the admin panel in the nav menu. Create a user for me with the username Zena Cheney and set the password to admin. And then you can obviously go in and change that later. But that's your first prompt. So all of you guys look at that. Copy, Copy that. That's a great. You know, you would, you would modify it a little bit, but that's, that's telling it everything it needs. Like, hey, I need an admin that has crud functionalities for all this stuff. And you know what? I would even, I would even add one more thing. Make sure this all works with properly with the database. Add that line to the end of it and then click go. And if you already click go, just copy that last thing and paste it and say it now. Right? You can say it while it's going. It will update it's, it's, it's, it's pattern where it's going. So, so yeah, now let it do that. And now it's going to create this beautiful, nice, you know, you know, interface where you can update users and flowers, you can search products and you can do all these different things. And when you first create it, it's not going to work. And then you're going to update it. You're going to say, hey, this doesn't work. And hey, you made this cool button. Because what it does is it thinks through. It's like, what are, what are all the things that you probably will need for this functionality or for this type of, the, this part of the system to work? And then it creates a bunch of things. Yeah, that's pretty smart for it to say, hey, you've got this, you know, this course. You want to create a course. Maybe you don't want it to go live yet. All right, I get it. So anyway.
I just want to clarify that this morning I had to teach my business partner how to make a reel with multiple videos in one clip.
Nice. Yeah, you're right. And you have to.
These people are the worst.
70S people, man.
I am one of those. And I'm the worst.
Yeah, no, see, you're literate when it comes to things like that. I'm, I'm even younger than you and I'm illiterate when it comes to technology. So that's not, it's not a 70s people thing. It's a. It's a woman thing, in my opinion, because we don't do technology very well.
Zena's just trying to stir the pot. Just ignore her.
Good job, Good job.
John's over there sitting like. Yeah, I'm in the 80s. So. Anyway.
I have an observation to share.
Yeah, go ahead.
Okay, so yesterday we had a great discussion about the surf or swim approach. And I thought how cool it would be if you look at what Instagram did. Instagram, when it came out with a phone with all these pictures, right, it didn't kill photography. It turned everyone into a photographer because phones have great camera technology. It used to be prohibitive to make a great photo because all the lighting, because of all the colors, because it was getting overblown or blurred or whatever, it was a major problem. But Instagram in these films made everyone a photographer. And so AI is going to make everyone a designer, a developer, everyone a lawyer, everyone. These things. I thought, how cool would it be if you make an app that or some website or something where you actually are able to browse through people's apps just as fast as you can browse through people's photos. So I could get dropped right into the middle of this Echoes app and be seeing the, you know, being able to save your location. Or I could swipe to the next one and I'm seeing Xena's new, you know, flower that she just released. And look, I can, I can, I can now swap to the next one and start to see this real quick demo of someone recording their story, entering into a PDF book or an audio downloadable file. Like there's just going to be a plethora of people making more and more and more apps. And so I'm now prototyping a tool I've just barely, barely begun. But basically you can have these PWAs, which are progressive web apps. So you don't have to download an app. You can actually preload like a TikTok style swipe. You can just get dropped into all your friends apps that they're making. And I think it's going to be the most creative thing where people are just going to come up with the most harm ideas for apps. And they're going to be able to make them in a couple days or a couple hours, a couple minutes, depending on what it is. And we'll see things like people looking at the hair inside of their, you know, stuck to the wall of their shower and they'll take a picture of it and they'll turn it into some monster that they'll come alive and like, how. How cool and fast was that? That was. That was nuts. And so we'll have all these environments where people are making dumb apps. Just like there's dumb photos of. Of shoes and then there's going to be really cool photos of, you know, some scenic animal. Like some. Some mother who likes to take pictures of wild animals and gets 500,000 followers. Like, you're just going to have the same sort of scenario where people are making apps like that and it's fun for them. They'll just make these really fun apps and people will jump in and play a game for like a minute and then they'll hop out to the next game for a minute or they'll just kind of have these opportunities. So that's what I'm going to be working on next is the way to browse your friends apps and it's gonna be called Friends app.
Yeah. By the way, I look at hair on the wall, which doesn't come from me, by the way, in the shower. And, and I make. I make little designs with it, you know, just like, oh, totally change it, you know. Anyway, so we're all.
That's kind of what I saw when I saw the Echoes logo. It's like, oh, that's like a hair.
So, yeah, anyway, we're all. We're all humans. We're all basically the same. So. Yeah, I mean, super cool. So that's the new thing you're working on, Seth?
Yeah, we got the voice recording working yesterday, and then my son made like this sourdough website. So we've got two things running. But I'm actually really excited about this other. This new concept that is basically a surfing type of experience compared to a, you know, swimming per app. It's. It's aggregating.
Love it.
I'll give it a try.
No, you know, you. We could teach a whole. I could teach a whole discussion course on just the surf versus swim thing. And. And I could bring in my buddy Jeremy, and he's. He's awesome, but man, just that concept of starting to understand, okay, am I going to be beaten out by everybody else? Because they all have this capability now, right. How do I sit on? How do I go up a level? Right.
To.
Whereas these things get stronger, I just get stronger and I'm always sitting on top of the highest level that's out there. So very cool. I love it.
Can I say something really quick? I don't think. Yes, it's a. AI is phenomenal. I think a lot of people are going to get into it, but nobody's going to get beat up because obviously some people have zero interest in it, right? Like for me, I didn't have any interest in it. I simply did it out of necessity because I needed to. Because both of my business partner and I are not literate in technology. And so one of us had to be in order to get our business going. And so because I'm more willing to learn, I know how to run Instagram ads better than I volunteered for it. But I think, I don't think anyone's going to be floating or whatever against their will. Nobody's being left behind against their will. I think people are just going to choose not to be part of it.
Well, that's part true and part not true. If you're not in the business world, then yeah, you're right, it doesn't matter. Right? But I'm talking about the people that are going to get crushed are people that are trying to build things without using AI as an advantage. They will get crushed by those that are using AI as an advantage. Now if you're a stay at home mom and you're not building businesses and you're, you know, whatever and great, you're going to live your life, you're going to be just fine.
Give it a try.
No, you know, we could teach a whole, I could teach a whole discussion course on just the surfers to swim thing and, and I could bring in my buddy Jeremy and he's, he's awesome. But man, just that concept of starting to understand, okay, am I going to be beaten out by everybody else? Because they all have this capability now, right. How do I sit on, how do I go up a level, right. To whereas these things get stronger, I just get stronger and I'm always sitting on top of the highest level that's out there. So very cool.
I love it.
Something really, I don't think, yes, it's AI is phenomenal. I think a lot of people are going to get into it, but nobody's going to get beat up because obviously some people have zero interest in it. Right? Like for me, I didn't have any interest in it. I simply did it out of necessity because I needed to. Because both of my business partner and I are not literate in technology. And so one of us had to be in order to get our business going. And so because I'm more willing to learn, I know how to run Instagram ads better than I volunteered for it. But I think, I don't think anyone's going to Be floating or whatever against their will. Nobody's being left behind against their will. I think people are just going to choose not to be part of it.
Well, that's part true and part not true. If you're not in the business world, then yeah, you're, you're right, it doesn't matter. Right, But I'm talking about the people that are going to get crushed are people that are trying to build things without using AI as an advantage. They will get crushed by those that are using AI as an advantage. Now if you're a stay at home mom and you're not building businesses and you're, you know, whatever and great, you're gonna live your life, you're gonna be just fine. Right? You really are. And, and you'll, you'll do great. Like, did your life change when Blockbuster went under because they didn't adapt to streaming services? No, it's like, whatever. I have Netflix now. So yeah, as a general consumer, you're gonna be fine. As an employee or as a business owner, that's where this starts to matter. Because other people that are employees or business owners, like let's say I'm an organization and I have 800 employees and I do a survey using Gen IPI to test everybody's understanding of AI and how good they are at doing whatever. And you know, 450 of them come back and they're like these guys are at, you know, 20% understanding. And then you have a hundred people that are like 80 understanding. And you have like five people that are at 97 understanding. Most people are up in this. And then you say okay, we need, and then, you know, the next day you get a, you get a, a notification that, you know, you have to let, Let you know, 10 of your workforce go, you got to get rid of 80 people. Well, are you going to be choosing the ones that are AI enabled or not AI enabled? I don't know. But it's definitely going to be a factor now, right? You know, maybe you've got a super important executive that have lots of domain knowledge and whatever and you can obviously train people up and level them up and do all those things. But, but it is going to become a major differentiator for employees that don't get it. And, and, and you know, Nick couldn't join today. Right. But he was, he was talking about it yesterday and he was talking about it to me texting as well. He's like, I'm, I'm changing the way I do things at all of my companies. It's changing right now. It's, you know, game over, let's go. Thank you for opening my eyes. You know, that was, that was really his, his thing and he's got some other stuff he's wanting to follow up with me. But anyway, so, so the crazy, it's just crazy, guys, how, how fast a tsunami just shows up and all of a sudden just crushes everything. If you look at, if you look at any reasonable estimate, it's somewhere between 300 and 500 million jobs will be replaced globally by AI by 2030. That's very fast, guys. Now, I want you to think for a second about the societal implications of what that means. What happens when a 16th of the world, 1 out of 16 people you meet has been let off because AI can now do it 10 times better than that person can? Where are they going to go? What are they going to do? How are they going to feed their family? What new jobs are going to come out? Where, where are humans going to spend more of their time? Are there going to be more hard services, you know, plumbers and, you know, construction and, you know, things that robots can't quite do in, in quite the same way yet. Right? That's, that's another revolution when robotics really get to where they can, they can do everything that a human can do. And again, we talked about that yesterday. I think that's a ways out. But, but the reality is, guys, be ready, be ready for some major things. There's going to be people rioting in the streets, right? When, when a million people get let go in, in a month, it's going to cause some problems, right? And, and, and it may happen in the US first. It may happen in India first. It may happen in China first. It may happen in France for. I don't know, right? I don't know where it's going to be. There's so many variables that we don't need to discuss right now on that. But, but the reality is it's going to change. It's, it's really going to change. For now, us here on the call and other people that are looking into AI and really starting to understand it, figuring out how to implement it. You're going to stay ahead. You're going to stay, you're going to be top of the food chain. And, and, you know, and if you're a good employee and a good leader in Angel Studios, right, you're going to be talking to your team and saying, guys, like, we need to discuss this. This is really critical. And like, these things used to take forever should not be taking forever. And we need to be using tools. Yeah.
All the time. Like, it is a push in every department.
Yeah, good. Needs to be. It needs. Right.
It's what it is. AI creates efficiency, which then eliminates human laziness.
Well, what I was just working with this morning with a designer, and we were bottlenecked by getting this through some engineering. We just said, like, we don't need engineering. What's this? And then I just. I actually just pushed him. I didn't. I didn't say. I didn't show him how to do it. I was like, you know what? Here's some tools. I want you to go. Just go like, you have full permission. Mess things, break things, but use these tools. And within an hour and a half, he had it already. So it was this calculator that. Where new filmmakers could find out approximately how much they'd be making every quarter with us because we have a recurring revenue program.
Sure. And.
And he just built it like we had a design and then he built it and he's just, like, just giddy.
I freaking love that, man. Do you mind if I use that clip on. On Social? Just from this. We're recording this? I think so maybe not the whole thing. Yeah, that's okay. Yeah, I won't share. I won't share anything like that, guys. If it's talking about a specific thing you're doing in business, without asking you first, I just want to know. I want you to know that if we're talking about a general concept, I might share a clip from this. But. But yeah, I won't share anything like that without. Without asking. So, yeah, you're building a tool that is going to be out in the public for other people. So I understand you probably don't want to share that one. So anyway. But the story is cool. I'll share the story and I'll just redact it. I'll just type it out and you can be like. I'll tag Seth and be like, he built this tool and. And it was. It was done right. Instead of taking, like, you know, a few hours to have a planning session and then two weeks to prototype it, and then let's test it. Like, it was done in an hour and a half. Like, yeah, that's a great story. So I'll probably. I'll probably share that if you don't mind. But. But yeah, guys, there's. There's.
Yeah, it's just.
It's just a new way of thinking. So how about we. We do Some fun. Some fun stuff here. Did we get into Runway yesterday? Did we get into any video creation stuff yesterday? I know we started. We did the. We did the elephant in the hand, right?
Yep.
Yeah, we did that towards the end. That was fun. Okay. Yeah.
I really want to. I'm looking forward to the. How to get fast validation.
Yeah, Fast validation is fun. Sales and marketing. We'll do that next. We'll do. Well, we're going to do. We're going to do something else. We're going to look at Manus. Manus is freaking cool and it's super powerful and it's going to blow your mind even more. It's. It's like Replit, right? It's a. It's a. It's an agentic system that can do. But it can do anything as opposed to just doing the. Oh, sorry. We're going to go over to right here. Can you guys see this screen? Yeah.
Google search.
Yep.
Perfect.
Perfect. So we're gonna go. We're gonna go right here. Actually, you know what we're gonna do? We're gonna go first. We're gonna go right here. So, man is guys is a. It's an agentic system that's again, it's just like repl it, but instead of just building apps, which is what Replit is built for, it can do anything. It can do unbelievable, crazy deep search projects that take two or three hours and. And then produce incredible websites and. And things, you know. So, man is guys is a. It's an agentic system that's again, it's just like Replit, but instead of just building apps, which is what Replit is built for, it can do anything. It can do unbelievable, crazy deep search projects that take two or three hours and. And then produce incredible websites and things. You know, that's just super, super fast. Now if you click get started at. At on Manus, it's going to say activate your account, join the waitlist. And you don't have an invitation code yet. Right now you will get an invitation code if you join the waitlist. It's just super, super fast. Now if you click get started at on Manus, it's going to say activate your account, join the waitlist, and you don't have an invitation code yet. Right now, you will get an invitation code if you join the waitlist. So if you want this, go to Manus IM and join the waitlist. And I promise you, you're going to want it. It is crazy. But what we're going to do right now is we're going to just explore and you can do this on your own too. Right? But. But we'll look together. I'll show you how to look at it. And you can look at most of it later. But Manus IM has a really neat feature. It was so smart of them to think of it. Right, so let's look at a WTF one over here. Right? Brand identity design. So this is Seth. Seth's job, right? This is our company website, techcrunch.com based on its design style and visual language. Please create a set of icons that we can use in PowerPoint presentations. The icon should be rich, appealing, and maintain a consistent design language with our site. Okay. And so it goes. And. Oh, an hour later, here's the. Here's the icons. They're done. And you can view all the files in the task and you can actually click download on it. I already did. So I'll just pull them up and we're gonna open this and we're gonna go PNG. So first of all, it gave me SVGs of them, which is crazy. Super cool. And then it gave me PNGs. 64, 128, 256. We go with the highest resolution here. Look at this. It just created these like it was nothing. Right? There's the settings, there's our, you know, custom TechCrunch settings thing and our security settings and, you know, whatever. And you can obviously go to tell it to do these things and export it in these formats and. And you can say, oh, I like this one. I don't like this one. I could change it, but. But look how freaking cool that is, right? You can just give it. You can tell it to do that for VidAngel, Seth. Right? It's like, boom, I need a bunch of new icons for this. And it's just done, right? And even if it only.
I think we got. We've got our job security on this one. Well, for a little bit, for this little while.
No, you know what? You're right. The quality of these is not going to be what you can do. Seth, there's no question. But imagine you're not Angel Studios and you don't have crazy budget and you're a startup and you have nothing and you're just like, I need a set of buttons and I just need it to work right now. Okay, great. Go right now. Are you going to make this security thing better on your own? Absolutely. You'll make this look more like a shield. You'll have maybe some curves here and It'll be sharper and you'll do some cool things and, but, but again, it's able to go and analyze a bunch of crazy things and then you can, it's cool. You can watch. You can kind of watch what they do. I like how they did this kind of replay thing. Check this one out. Podcast editing. Okay, please cut this podcast audio into a two minute highlight reel of key quotes. Select complete sentence with clear viewpoints or interesting content ensuring smooth transitions. And all they did was give it a recording of the podcast. Just a wav file. That's it. So now it thinks it listens, it analyzes, it does this and then it cuts it up. And now we're going to have from however long this thing is a two minute. So it's at least 16 minutes. And then it took two minutes to, to get to this right here. Right? We'll click the audio and we'll play it from Deep Seek AI. They've got this new model, DeepSeek R1 and its predecessor Deep, getting it to excel at software engineering tasks, which, let me tell you, require a very specific set of skills. So I think that recording was made by AI as well, which is funny, but whatever. But that's amazing. The, the amount of time it would take to do this is at least 16 minutes, because you got to listen to the whole thing, then you got to analyze it, then you got to get some sort of a transcript from it. Maybe you could get a transcript and throw it into AI and say, grab these little pieces. Then you have to manually go into an audio editor and select the times and do this. You're Talking easily, easily 30 minutes if you're efficient. If you're not efficient, it's a two hour project, right? And so now you can just give it to it. Do it. Right. Awesome. Done. Okay, you can come in here. Screenplay development, right? Develop a fantasy screenplay exploring a hypothetical interaction between Mayan and ancient Egyptian civilizations. Balance historical accuracy with creative liberty. First, compile relevant reference materials. Then propose potential narrative directions and creative inspirations. Finally, select the most compelling concept and draft a preliminary script outline. Pretty awesome, right? And so for ideation. Holy cow. Right? We'll skip to the results here. But yeah, here's the timeline comparison. All right? It overlaps here. So observations, physical barriers. This is some geographical considerations. But hey, here's how we balance history with fantasy, right? Accidental transatlantic voyage. Here's how we do. Here's another idea. Some other things, right? And it can. It's done hours and hours and hours and hours and hours. Of research, right? And you look at this and if you look at all the websites and you watch the whole thing, it's, it's quite in depth, right? It read, it read, you know, for 100 hours. That would take a human. We'll skip to the results here. But yeah, here's the timeline comparison, all right? It overlaps here. Observations, physical barriers. This is some geographical considerations, but hey, here's how we balance history with fantasy, right? Accidental transatlantic voyage. Here's how we do. Here's another idea, some other things, right? And it can, it's done hours and hours and hours and to read a hundred hours and then built out all of this stuff here. So, so that's some of the WTF stuff. We can go in the featured things. You can say, let's see here, what's another one? That's pretty neat. Yeah, this is pretty cool, right? Let's look at. Visit the official YC website. Compile all enterprise information under the W25B 2B tag into a clear, well structured table, right? So if you're someone who sells things to start hours and hours of research, right? And you look at this and if you look at all the websites and, and you watch the whole thing, it's, it's quite in depth, right? It read, it read, you know, for a hundred hours. That would take a human to read a hundred hours. And then built out all of this stuff here. So, so that's some of the WTF apps. That's a pretty, that's a pretty awesome thing if you're a, if you're a sales rep and you want to, and you want to get that, that all done. And so, hey, there we go. So here's the, here's the company name, location description, categories. And then of course you could take this, you could have it go even further and say, hey, give me an email, email address for each one, right? And now it's not going to show that probably on the Manus website, but you could easily ask it to do it. You could also ask GROK or Chat GPT to fill in the gaps on it. So that's pretty, that's pretty amazing. I've used, I've used ChatGPT to create some amazing, amazing lists like that. So yeah, Nvidia earnings report analysis, right? You want to say, hey, you know, is this a good stock to, to invest in right now, right? Research on the ar, AI glasses, right? Let's look on this thing. So education, campaign, explanation, maps, learning, resource collection and organization, right? The types of things that it does guys, is it does crazy amounts of research and then compiles it really, really, really nicely. So what I want to show now is I want to go back over to here. So I actually had it. I said, hey, I want to just test this, right? There's a good number of articles about me out there. And said, hey, write an inspiring biography about John Cheney who's an entrepreneur, founder of Sqaba, Velocity, Access Gen, FBI and more. I gave it a few things about me so it knew kind of what to look for and then make a 2000 word article that inspires people to want to learn how to do business and do, you know, learn these technologies from John. Right? And so I had it just create this thing. And so it did tons of research. It took about two hours to do it and then I had it create a website. Boom. And this is basically all of the content from it. And by the way, I've read the entire thing and it is spot on. It's well written, it's compelling, it's accurate. There's nothing in here where I would say that's not true. Like it's actually all accurate. It pulled from real sources all over the Internet with probably a hundred different places. And it pulled, you know, here's my Pokemon Go. Around this time, Pokemon Go was released, right? Introduce this. Inspired by this technology, John pivoted to incorporate AR into their treasure hunting app, which they named Seek. Like, it's exactly what happened, right? I didn't tell it any of this. John Cheney's AI expertise and innovation, music, career, writing, thought, leadership, personal life, values, right, whatever. I made it this and then it added at the bottom here, it's got this cool thing I can bounce around here, right? But then at the bottom here, you know, it added these in. I didn't ask it to do it. Yep, that's my LinkedIn profile. Here's my music website, john cheney.com. here's Jenna Ipi. Right? So pretty amazing. Pretty amazing. You can have it just knock stuff out. Just imagine doing this or producing something like this for, you know, Seth, maybe, maybe some, some studio where you're saying, hey, you know, we want to, you know, here's a presentation, right? And you can just whip it up and just be like, hey, research this studio. Here's the idea. Do a bunch of research and then put together a website that shows why they should choose angel studios. Here's all the information I'll give you, right? You can upload a bunch of files to it it and then it will just get busy and Then an hour later you come back and you're like, okay, it's done. Or change this, change this. Hey, take this approach, be less salesy, whatever. I want more graphs and tables, then it'll do it. Absolutely mind blowing. So madness guys is it's all the rage right now. There's new tools like this that, that will come out, you know, constantly and yeah, anyway, you could also take this by the way, right? So right now it says made with manuscript, right? You, you could also just say, hey replet, see this page? I want you to make something really quick and then you could deploy it to a real website, right? And you could do all kinds of things. Guys, there's so many ways you can use this and, and maybe people don't even care about the made with Manus thing. I don't really, I think it's really, really cool. And I'm probably going to share this, I'll probably share this on LinkedIn and say hey, look what man is made for me and I'll just share this, you know, vsjdhvj, you know, whatever, it doesn't matter what it is. It's pretty neat. It's pretty neat guys. Any questions about this Manus tool? Okay, pretty straightforward, pretty straightforward, very powerful.
Any tools that seem to create logic that goes counter to what it's been fed. Like for example, there's a lot of consensus science or consensus whatever, trying to think of more examples. But anyways, science is one of them where you know, there's the consensus where you need to regurgitate what's been learned or what's been published. And then there's investigative science where you're actually discovering new things. Have you found any tools that help you parse data to come to new conclusions? Or is it mostly. Most like all other LLMs, it's simply referencing what's already been published in what's already been training data and.
Great question and, and it's a really fun one to play with, right? And the way that you play with it is you tell the LLM, right? Whether it's Chad, GPT or GROK or whatever you're doing or NAS or whatever and say, look, here's what I want you to do. I want you to consider everything that's been, you know, discovered. I want you to read it, all right? And then I want you to consider some things that maybe might be a little bit fringe. And then I want you to consider some things that have never even been thought of before where you weren't able to find anything about it, right? And then I want you to, you know, you're probably multi step in doing all this, right? And maybe even over a couple days if you're giving man as tasks and then compiling and whatever, right? And then you say okay, now let's, let's work together and let's explore this, right? Like could, could this actually work? This, you know, this theoretical idea, could this theoretically be true? Help me prove it, right? Let's scientifically go through and prove this together and see if it works or prove that it's not right and it won't work, right? And so again, AI wants to please you, right? And so you have to, you have to put your in doing all this, right? And maybe even over a couple days if you're giving man as tasks and then compiling and whatever, right? And then you say, okay, now let's, let's work together and let's explore this, right? Like could this actually work? This, you know, this theoretical idea, could this theoretically be true? Help me prove it, right? Let's scientifically go through and prove this together. Guardrails around yourself to say, if this isn't going to work, if this isn't a viable explanation, I want you to really seek the truth here, right? Let's discover new things together. But AI absolutely is discovering new things right now. It's discovering new elements, discovering new ways to. I mean heck, we have dire wolves, right? Dire wolves came back because AI plus CRISPR and all these things other and see if it works or prove that it's not right and it won't work, right? And so again, AI wants to please you, right? And so you have to, you have to put your team together and discovered new ways to fix something, right? And so your guard rails around yourself to say if this isn't going to work, if this isn't a viable explanation, we are less than two years away from what is called invented. I want you to really seek the truth of AI which is where AI really is sitting there on its own without human prompts. Discovering new technology, right? Making things real, like figuring out how to make that lightsaber stop after four feet or you know, how to make cold fusion work or how to, you know, whatever, whatever it is, right? But that, that, that, that inventive AI step is going to be really, really, really cool here, right? Let's discover new things together. But AI absolutely is discovering new things right now. It's discovering new elements, it's discovering new ways to. I mean heck, we have dire wolves, right? Dire wolves came back because AI plus CRISPR and all these things came together and discovered new ways to fix something. Right? And so but I think we're already close to it and you can. SETH. Absolutely. Go discover new things together with AI, right? If you use and combine the right tools and I think you get a lot of magic if you use the reasoning between GROK and Deep Research jet, you know GPT deep research in 4.5 and 01 the deep reasoning and one of the things we haven't talked about a lot guys that I'll share with you really quickly. It's, you know, some of you might know it, but some of you might. We are less than two years away from what is called invented. When you're inside Chat GPT for example here and you start a new chat and you know you have this little button right here that says 4o. We've just been using AI which is where AI really is sitting there on its own without human prompts. Using one model. There's tons of models you can do here. Discovering new, new technology. Right? Making things real like figuring out how to write. You can do chat GPT4 with scheduled tasks. This is really cool. I have a scheduled task make that lightsaber stop after, you know, four feet set up every day so that it searches the Internet and looks for any news about relet. I want to know about any new updates coming or new announcements they've done and then it reports back to me and sends me a notification on my phone with, with information about that so you can actually have it follow up and do things for you. Chat GPT 4.5 is the research preview. This one can work for 2 hours on deep research on or you know, how to make cold fusion work or how to, you know, whatever, whatever it is right. But that, that, that, that inventive AI step is going to be really, really, really cool something O1 uses advanced reasoning. It's really, really good and O1 is the best one. It's the best reasoning model O1 Pro. But I think we're already close to it and you can. Seth. Absolutely. Go discover new things together with AI right? If you use and combine the right tools and I think you get a lot of magic if you. There's more models too, right? You can look at all kinds of things. There's older models and things like that. We're using GPT4O that's, that's usually what, what we're defaulting to. GPT4O mini is pretty cheap to, to set up an API in inside of your own your own systems. And so a lot of people are doing that. But O1 uses really advanced reasoning and it's, and it's interesting. You could ask the Same question of ChatGPT and keep switching the model and get different answers every time. If you use the reasoning between GROK and Deep Research Jet and, and so, and not, not that they're going to be conflicting answers but they're going to come at it from different angles or think deeper and, and you know, have more depending on the model that you've chosen. Right? If I were to go into 01 Pro mode and then ask it or you know, chat GPT deep research in 4.5 and, and 01 the deep reasoning really advanced coding question or a really advanced. You know, I'm really having some trouble here and, and you know, one of the things we haven't talked about a lot guys, the, that I'll, that I'll share with you really quickly. It's, you know, some of you might know it but some of you might not. When you're inside Chat GPT for example here and you start a new chat replit and I need a creative way to do this or hey, here's some code. How can. Is there a way that has never been done before to make this code more efficient? Right? Ask it never been done before. Those types of things that will get you to really fun, fun results, right? Where you're just like, okay, this is freaking awesome. All right, I'm gonna show you guys one more thing because I think it's, I think it's pretty cool and I think it's worth bringing up now you know what we'll do. And you know you have this little button right here that says 4,0. We've just been that later. We'll do that later. Remember me guys? To, to bring up Chat Chat GPT Operator. Okay. Operator is really, really cool. Let's go back to here using one model. There's tons of models you can do here, right? You can do chat GPT4 with scheduled tasks. This is really cool. I have a scheduled task. We're just going to click stop for a minute and we're going to jump into sales marketing. Okay? Sales marketing is awesome. And quite frankly, all of your cool ideas mean nothing if you can't sell it or market it. They've not set up every day so that it searches the Internet. And look what he's landing on your page. I don't care how cool your system is, you gotta make, gotta make money or you gotta get users, right? You don't necessarily have to make money to make money or ask for money to make money. You could just say, you know what? I want a million users. Now I can say that that's a very, very, very expensive and risky way to do business. And usually you need funding for that. Right? And that was our goal initially with Seek, was, hey, we're going to just grow with a ton of users and you know, after we ask for any news about Replit, I want to know about any new updates coming or new announcements that have a million users or 10 million users, then we'll sell the app and that'll be awesome. And we never got there. Done. And then it reports back to me and sends me a notification on my phone with, with information about it. Right? We got to about a million users, which is pretty cool. And then we pivoted to a B2B business. And, and, and so that, you know, that didn't apply. But the reality is, guys, if you can't sell it, then so you can actually have it, follow up and do things for you. Chat. GPT 4.5 is the research preview. This one can work for 2 hours on deep research on, well, can't sell it. You just have a bad solution. That's, that's, that's really what it is. Or you've done a poor job at telling people what's going on. And I would argue that both of those things happen every single day. People make amazing solutions and they just have no idea how to do it. I have people that have taken this course already and several more people that are signing or that have signed up that are taking it next week and they're like, I'm something. 01 uses advanced reasoning. It's really, really good. And full stack developer. I know exactly what I'm doing. I even know how to use AI. But I want to know how to sell. I want to know how you went from how you built a business with AI, right? Not just the coding side, but how did you actually get customers so freaking fast, Right? So we'll get there. Let's do one is the best one. It's the best reasoning model. 01 Pro. There's more models too, right? You can look at all kinds of things. There's older models and things like that. We're using GPT4.0. That's, that's usually what, what we're defaulting to GPT. Just a little bit of a sales discussion right now. So just so you know, guys, and I'm going to brag just for a minute, Just so you can understand kind of my background, I am a sales guy. That is what I do. That is what I've always done. At Seek, we. We did roughly. We did roughly $15 million of revenue over the seven years of our existence. 400 mini. It's pretty cheap to, to set up an API inside of your own, your own systems. And so a lot of people have only about four or five of those in. I would say about five, four of those years where we were really selling to B2B customers. And sorry, I need to. We're doing that. But O1 uses really advanced reasoning and it's, and it's interesting. You could make sure that I'm not, I'm not getting those, those Facebook beeps here. That is really annoying. All right, if that happens again, I will, I will find it. But anyway, I thought I'd put it on do not disturb and it's supposed to not make that noise. Xena, don't send me things right now. If that was you. I don't know if it was. That's okay. We send memes to each other like all spouses do. But, but anyway, at Seek, out of those $15 million of revenue, I was responsible for roughly 13 million of it. Right? As the CEO, I sold roughly 13. Ask the same question of ChatGPT and keep switching the model and get different answers every time. And, and so, and not, not that they're going to be conflicting answers, but they're going to come at it from different angles or think deeper and you know, have more than million of it. Even though I had, you know, four sales guys and VPs of sales and things depending on the model that you've chosen, right. If I were to go into O1 Pro mode and then ask it or things like that, I just was dang good at it and I did it in a lot of ways. And I'll talk about how in a minute. Before Seek, I. I was. I was hired to join a startup that had three employees at the time. I took it up to 12 employees and it was in the education space and ended up, you know, ended up really advanced coding question or a really advanced. You know, I'm really having some trouble here and creating a whole new product line and developing a whole new thing for customers. And the reason, the way that I did it and one of my, one of my kind of things that I really like to focus on is I am all about replit and I need a creative way to do this or hey, here's some code asking the customer what they want and then giving it to them. Right. I have an idea. How can. Is there a way that has never been done before to make. Yeah. I'm like, hey, I have an idea around this. What do you think? Oh, I think that's really good. Is there anything that you would, you know, would you buy this? Yeah, I would. Okay. Is there anything that. That I could do to make it better? To make you more likely to buy it? Well, yeah, man. If you could do this, this code more efficient. Right. Ask it never been done before. Those types of things I do that I'm like, cool. Is there anything else. Is there anything that you see that would make you pause? Seth. Would get you to really fun, fun results. Right, Right. Like, I'm not afraid to ask anything. I don't care about people's opinions other than the fact that they have an opinion and I want to know what it is. I don't care if it's good or bad. It doesn't offend me. They're not. They're not rejecting me. They're just. We're looking at a solution together and we're trying to figure it out. Okay. Before I just like, okay, this is freaking awesome. All right, I'm gonna show you guys one more thing because I think it's. I think it's pretty cool and I think it's worth bringing up now. You know what we'll do? Started selling. I started selling door to door mistletoe, which my kids have now done. I started doing that at about age 8. I would go door to door and, you know, we'd go and we'd cut down some mistletoe in Houston that. Later. We'll do that later. Remember me, guys? To. To bring up chat. Chat. GPT Operator. Okay. Operator is really, really cool. Let's go back to here. It grows in the trees there. You know, you have to climb up really high and cut down a big, huge bushel. The bushels are like this big. And you can get like a hundred, you know, small, you know, door, stop, whatever or threshold size size pieces to do. And I'd sell them. I'd sell them door to door for five bucks. And so I've been selling for, you know, over 30 years and. And I've been the top salesperson. And we're just going to click stop for a minute and we're going to jump into sales and marketing. Every single company I've ever touched, I did door to door for five years. I did. Okay. Sales. Marketing is awesome. And quite Frankly, I've done B2B sales of every kind. I've done it since, you know, since I was 18 years old. Even, even younger than that. I went door to door when I was 16 years old, and I sold video creation and video editing services because I got really good at editing videos when I was young. And I'd go door to door and I'd sell it. All of your cool ideas mean nothing if you can't sell it or market it. If nobody's landing on your page, I don't care how cool your system is, you got to make. God came. I'd come home with $2,000 of deals, right? Just from knocking on people's doors, right? Home videos and birthday videos and, you know, whatever, anything. So I love, I love, I love selling. And the way that I sell all comes back to make money or you got to get users, right? You don't necessarily have to make money to make money to one very, very simple, one very simple tactic and, or ask for money to make money. You could just say, you know what? I want a million users. Now I can, I can say that that's, and it's actually a similar tactic to what we've been talking about on this course along a lot. And it's, and it's, and it's not rocket science. It all comes, everything I do comes back to sitting on the same side of the table as the customer, right? I'm, I'm like, like really aggress a very, very, very expensive and risky way to do business. And usually you need funding for that, right? And that was our goal initially with Seek, was, hey, we're going to just grow with a ton of users. And, you know, after we have a million users or 10 million users, then we'll sell the app and that'll be awesome. And we never got there aggressively sitting on their side, like, almost embarrassingly sitting on this on their side, right? Like, hey, I'm sitting. And I'll say that in a call when I'm with some of that look, right at the beginning of the call, hey, nice to meet you. Tell me what you do. What are the problems you struggle with? That's great. Hey, you know what? I understand your industry a little bit because I've done this, this, and this. And right. We got to about a million users, which is pretty cool. And then we pivoted to a B2B business. And, and so that, you know, I, I, I feel your struggles. You're like, this is awesome. I, I'm gonna, and I'll say it out loud I'll say I'm gonna sit on, you know, that didn't apply. But the reality is, guys, if you can't sell it, then your side of the table here, and I want to, I want to work with you and see if, and see if, you know, if our solution here will help you. You know, if it won't, I, you know, then maybe we can, maybe we can come up with something else. Maybe we have some other product that might work or you know what? I know a lot of companies and a lot of providers in this area can't sell it. You just have a bad solution. That's, that's, that's really what it is. Or you've done a poor job at telling people what's going on. And I would argue that both of those things. Yeah. And I'll help, you know, point you in the right direction. And I have done many times where I'm like, yeah, you know what, I really don't think this can work for you. But you know what, let's work together really quick. And I'll open up and I've got my zoom open and I'll share my screen and I'll Google and I'll go and I'll be like, these guys are really good. Let me introduce you to this happen every single day. People make amazing solutions and they just have no idea how to do it. I have people that have taken this course already person and I'll, and I'll send them over there without any, you know, expecting anything back. So. And several more people that are signing or that have signed up that are taking it next week and they're like, so I just had this general, this general ability to really connect with people very, very quickly by really deeply and legitimately. Not just on surface, but I like solving problems. I just am a problem solver. And so I get on the phone with someone and if I have a solution that will solve Full Stack developer, I know exactly what I'm doing. I even know how to use AI, But I want to know how to sell. I want to know how you went from how you built a business with AI, right? Not just the coding side, their problem, then that's fantastic. If I don't, then that's okay. I'm still going to solve their problem. And so because I have that kind of an attitude, people just generally don't say no to me. But how did you actually get customers so freaking fast? Right? Because they just know. They find out very quickly, oh, this guy just wants to help me. Like, I'll go through an entire call and I'll never ask for the sale, which is crazy, right? And. And I'll just be like, I just want to. So we'll get there. Let's do just a little bit of a sales discussion right now. So just so you know, guys, and I'm gonna brag just for a minute, just so you can understand kind of my background. I am a sales guy. That is help you get through this, right? Like, do you think that's a good solution? Do you think this will work? You think this will solve your problem? And then they'll be like, yeah, but. But what about. What about your solution? Do you think your solution can help me too? And I'll be like, yeah, I think it probably could. But, you know, you should start here and then let's integrate this later. Or, you know, you could start both at the same time, you know, but I make them ask me for it, right? That's what I'm doing. What I do. That is what I've always done at Seek.
We.
We did roughly. And. And I do that not only in my. In my, you know, direct B2B sales, but I do that in my posts as well. My marketing acts like that as well. I very, very rarely am just like, hey, buy my course. Yeah, you'll see a few times where I'll do a direct thing. I'll be like, hey, guys, I want you my course. This is cool, right? But I talk about their problems. As an entrepreneur, we did roughly $15 million of revenue over the seven years of our existence with only about four or five of those in. I would say about four of those years where we were. I know I've been an entrepreneur. I am an entrepreneur. I've been that. I've lived through that. I've raised money. And, man, it's so freaking hard. I understand you because I am you. And. And let's do that. And so in general, guys, when you're. When you're building your product, we're really selling to B2B customers. And sorry, I need to. And this comes all the way back to building the product, right? This is why I sold it so fast, is because even before I was talking to customers, I was saying, what is this? Make sure that I'm not.
Not.
I'm not getting those. Those Facebook beeps here. That is real customer going to say or think when they land on my page, right? Are they going, am I. Am I solving a problem that I know they have? Because I have this problem, right? I had this problem at My last company. And I wish I'd add this. And so how can I. How can I quickly convey this value and make that happen? Right? And so I, I share that. Annoying. All right, if that happens again, I will, I will find it. But anyway, I thought I'd put it on. Not only because I want to. I want you to just know that everything that I'm saying here comes from that type of a perspective. I'm always ultra thinking about the customer. The product is built. It's presented in a way that the customer goes and they're like, oh yeah, I want that. Oh my gosh, I want that more. Oh, I'm digging in deeper. I'm digging in deeper. I love this because it's saying all the things, you know, that I want to do it. And I'll even ask ChatGPT to write copy like that. Let's say I want you to write it in a way that, that, that causes the customer to get drawn in. I'll use phrases like disturb. And it's supposed to not make that noise. Xena, don't send me things right now. If that was you, I don't know if it was. That's okay. We send memes to each other like all spouses do. But. But anyway, at Seek, out of those $15 million of revenue, I was responsible for roughly 13 million of it, right? As the, the CEO, I sold roughly 13 that when I'm talking to chat GPT and talking to, to the different things. Okay, so for now, I'm going to back up a little bit. For Gen ipi, my idea was this. My original idea was this. I wanted to build a proficiency test. And my idea was an IQ test. Okay. The IQ test is effective and efficient because I've done an IQ test many times online because, you know, I'm vain and I want to see how smart I am, you know, and million of it. Even though I had, you know, four sales guys and VPs of sales and everybody does. Everyone wants to see how smart they are. But when you go to any IQ test online, like watch, I'll just, I'll just do it right here, things like that. I just was dang good at it. And I did it in a lot of ways. And I'll talk about how in a minute. Before Seek, I was. I was hired to join a startup that had three employees. Employees at the time. I took it up to 12 employees. And it was in the education space. And if I just go and I search for, you know, online IQ test, right? And I find you Know, free IQ test. Think IQ Academy. Okay. Verifying you're a human. All right, that's great. Okay. And then I'll do. Hey, I want to do the fast one here. And I'm not going to actually do that. Right. But I'll go through this, and when I get to the end, my cognitive function are undeniable. That's a. That's a great review right there. Ended up, you know, ended up creating a whole new product line and developing a whole new thing for customers. And the reason. The way that I did it. And so that's kind of fun anyway, but if I. If I go through and I finish this. Right. You know what? We'll just. We'll just do it. And I'm going to be wrong, and I'm obviously not going to put in my thing because I don't want it to think I'm stupid. But let's say I go through this, and one of my. One of my kind of things that I really like to focus on is I am all about asking the customer what they want and then giving it to them. Right. I have an ideal thing. Processing. Processing your answers. It is not going to give me my answer or my score. And this was my model for Gen aipi. I wanted people to have to enter an email address. Hey, here's your iq. Oh, okay, Great. Hey, we want to do this. Yeah. I'm like, hey, I have an idea around this. What do you think? Oh, I think that's really good. Is there anything that you would, you know, would you buy this? Yeah, I would. IQ measurement details. See how good that is? It's not asking me. Hey, tell us more about you. It's IQ measurement details, right? I'm 38, and I'm male, and, you know, I'm in the United States. Whatever. Okay, continue. And so now I'm like, hey, you've successfully completed this. Congratulations. All right, I'm gonna. And okay. Is there anything that. That I could do to make it better, to make you more likely to buy it? Well, yeah, man. If you could do this, I'd do that. I'd be like, cool. Is there anything else. Is there anything that you see that would make you pause, Analyze your spatial thinking? I'm going to analyze your pattern recognition. Oh, man, I'm so excited to see this. It can do all. It's. This is all for show, guys. This is crazy. It's. Of course it's not doing these things. It takes one second to do all that. Less than a second to do all that. Right? Like, I'm not afraid to ask anything. I don't care about people's opinions other than the fact that calculation. But now it's doing it. Okay, Boom. Now you have to pay. They have an opinion, and I want to know what it is. I don't care if it's good or bad. It doesn't offend me.
Sometimes when you have those progress bars, it delays the user. They're not actually getting a better value, but they convert better. It is so interesting.
Totally. They're not. They're not rejecting me. They're just. We're looking at a solution together and we're trying to figure it out. Okay. Before I totally. And. And again, I'm working. You know, we've got one of the best marketing groups in the world here with Angel Studios that's done amazing things with the Chosen. And gosh dang it, what a. What a global phenomenon. And amazing things you and Darrell Eves and everybody have done together on that side of things. So. So obviously we could have you teach this part of the class for. For sure. But. But the reality is, guys, I, you know, Yeah. I don't want this. Like, so. So started selling. I started selling door to door mistletoe, which my kids have now done. I started doing that at about age 8. I would go door to door and, you know, we. We'd go and we'd. We'd cut down some mistletoe in Houston. What it does is it makes you sign up for it, and then it's a dollar, and then it renews in seven days for 2999. I'm just like, I don't. I don't want this. Right? But I do want it. And so I pay for a dollar. So what I did, I went a step grows in the trees there. You know, you have to climb up really high and cut down a big, huge bushel. The bushels are like this big. And you can get like 100, you know, small, you know, doorstop, whatever, or back from this. I didn't make them. I didn't make them pay for it. Right? If you go to jenny ipi.org and you take the test, you start the test and you go through. And it's only 12 questions. And, you know, we'll go through it here really quick. This won't take that long.
And.
Wait for it. What I did was I made it, and this was a system I played with and a workflow I played with to really kind of figure out how to do this. And I. And I rift back and Forth with chat GPT about how can we make this really good threshold size, size pieces to do. And I'd sell them, I'd sell them door to door for five bucks. And so I've been selling for, you know, over 30 years and, and I've been the top salesperson in every single company I've ever touched. I did door to door for five years. I did, I've done B2B sales of every kind. I've done it since, you know, since I was 18 years old. Even, even kind of like an IQ test where they pull you in and then you have to enter your email address to see the score and things like that, or you have to pay for it to see the score. And so I just basically made it this way, right? Where once you finish it comes up and says, hey, create an account to see your score. Super easy, right? Your free assessment results will be saved to your profile. So now I get longer than that. I went door to door when I was 16 years old and I sold video creation and video edit to create a username, an email, a password. They click Create account and continue. And when they do that, right, if I just do a fake account right here@gmail.com and you know, password, I think it's going to check for a match here. If I click Create account and continue, it's going to send an email over there and hey, I got a 58 out of 100 just randomly clicking through that. That's pretty good actually editing services because I got really good at editing videos when I was younger and I'd go door to door and I'd sell it and I came, I'd come home with $2,000 of deals, right, Just from knocking on people's doors, right? Home videos and birthday videos and you know, whatever, anything. So. And then, and then, okay, great, now I'm in. Now I've got an account. I just got an email as well, or I would have if I put in a real email address. But I've got an email now where I can now, you know, as, as the owner of Gen A ipi, I can then put them into a sequence supply I want and I can start pushing things and I, you know, that was kind of my idea, right? And I love, I love, I love selling and the way that I sell all comes back, you know, choose your next step, improve your skills, explore courses, get certified and you know, wherever you click to, one very, very simple, one very simple tactic and it's going to take you over to that spot and then Hey, I want to get access to this and oh, this is really cool. Lifetime access for 19. Yeah, let's do that. I'd love to. I'd love to see what this is. And then, hey, boom. Now here I am, ready to pay. Now I'm taking some money from people. And so that flow felt pretty nice. And it's actually a similar tactic to what we've been talking about on this course along, you know, a lot. And it's, and it's, and it's not rocket science. It all comes. Everything I do comes back to nice, you know, and on the night that I, nights that I was working on this, I got to this stage where I could do all this now then, then, you know, I had to do my marketing side of things, which we'll talk about more in a minute. But what I did for marketing was. Oh, by the way, I just, I did. That's interesting. Why is it saying log in? Maybe I click sign up. No, no, no, no, no. That's weird. I'm going home. How did I get home and have. Sitting on the same side of the table as the customer, right? I'm, I'm like, like really aggressively sitting on their side. Like almost embarrassingly sitting on this on their side, right? Like, get out. Oh, you know what? It's because it went to the payment and then I clicked back and that took me and it made it look like it was logged out, but it wasn't actually. I've actually seen something like that before. Okay, so little bug fix in my head there. So not a bad bug. Not a bad bug, not critical. Hey, I'm sitting. And I'll say that in a call when I'm with some of like, look, that I need to fix right now. But the. So my idea was, okay, if I can get people to just land on this right here, take the free AI Mastery predictor test. That was my goal with my ads. Get them to land here, okay? Then I get them to start the test. And if I right at the beginning of the call, hey, nice to meet you. Tell me what you do. What are the problems? You start to get them to finish the test and get them to create an account. I knew I was going to have some drop off at every, at every stage here, right? And so I started an ad and, and by the way, we'll, we'll talk about how I did the ad. In fact. That's great. Hey, you know what? I understand your industry a little bit because I've done this, this and this, and you know I, I, I feel your struggles. You're like, this is awesome. I, I'm gonna, and I'll say it out loud. I'll say I'm gonna sit on, I'll take a break really second and talk about how I did the ad, the ad creation. So basically I went into Grok and chat GPT and I went back and forth and I just said, hey, I want you to, I want to, I want to work with you and see if, and see if, you know, if create some, in fact, I bet I've got them right here. I'll pull it up here in chat GPT J IPI let's actually look at them here. Venture tagline request social media post. Here we go. So I basically said these are a bunch of, this is some pictures and random things here. Let's create a social post. There'll be several power solution here will help you. You know, if it won't, I, you know, I, then maybe we can, maybe we can come up with something else. Maybe we have some other product that might work or you know what, I know a lot of companies and a lot of providers in this area for slides in a row for a carousel post. Yeah, that was, that was something different. I want to go, yeah, and, and I'll help, you know, point you in the right direction. And I have done many times where I'm like, yeah, you know what, I really don't think this can work for you. But you know what, let's work together really quick and I'll open up. You know, I've got my back here. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. So I basically just said make 10 posts with images for social media that talk about the power of what Jenny API is doing. And it already knows the context of my project. Right. So okay, great. And you know, so here are some of those things right? Here it is. Post one Future belongs to the AI proficient AF Doom Open and I'll share my screen and I'll Google and I'll go and I'll be like, look, these guys are really good. Let me introduce you to this person and I'll, and I'll send them over there without any, you know, expecting anything back. So, so I just had this general, this general ability to really connect with people very, very quickly by, by really deeply and legit nickels future proofing. Okay. So I read through it. I was like, okay, that's cool, whatever, that's great. Okay, would you like me to generate the images post for these posts now? Yes. And then it created it and I was like, okay, I don't really love these. This was not really what I wanted. Want these pictures to be more realistic. Let's make sure we show some girls. It was all dudes. I was like, I want it. I want AI to feel accessible to everybody. Right? Legitimately. Not just on surface. But I like solving problems. And so, you know, let's, let's change that a little bit. And then I said, all right, let's create a powerful slides, right? Your companies aren't doing this right. There's no formal standard. How do we do this? And then I said, all right, please create five options for powerful and clickbaity. Just. I'm a problem solver and so I get on the phone with someone and if I have a solution that will solve their problem, then that's fantastic. If I don't, then that's okay. I'm still going to solve their problem. And so because I. But still professional ads for someone to take the AI Mastery Predictor IQ test may have that kind of an attitude. People just generally don't say no to me. Maybe focus on the term AIQ as a play on words. I know it's AI iq, but I can still get people curious about how smart they are related to AI. You know, are you smarter than AI? Stuff like that. I don't know. Yeah, there it is right there. What's your iq? I will change everything. Will you keep up a fluency? Is the new literacy iq, the square that defines your future, right? And so because they just know, they find out very quickly. Oh, this guy just wants to help me. Like, I'll go through an entire call and I'll never ask. I then, you know, I still didn't love a lot of the images that I was finding and seeing here, but I was like, okay, these are pretty good. These are pretty good posts, right? All right. Make the entire thing readable for the sale, which is crazy, right? And, and I'll just be like, I just want to have nine seconds. I want it half this length. Needs to be more inspirational, right? Make it help you get through this. Right? Like, do you think that's a good solution? Do you think this will work? You think this will solve your problem? I ended the visual creative. Give me some copy for this. And, and so anyway, I was taking some of these different pieces here and then they'll be like, yeah, but, but what about, what about your solution? Do you think your solution can help me too? And, and, and you know, hey, don't. I don't want it cheesy. Keep it professional fix this one. I want the visual, the visual for this is going to be this. Someone's spinning in a scene anyway. And so what I did is I then came over to a tool that you're. And I'll be like, yeah, I think it probably could but you know, you should start here and then let's integrate this later. Or you know, you could start both at the same time, you know, but I make them ask me for it. Right? That's what I'm doing. You know, many of you are familiar with and oh sorry, gosh, I keep forgetting I've moved this over to this one right here which is Canva. Right. And, and Canva and, and I do that not only in my, in my. It's quite amazing. And those of you that have used it, you know, know how, how powerful it is and it has a lot of AI tools, you know, direct B2B sales. But I do that in my posts as well. My marketing acts like that as well. I have very, very variables and features right now as well. And so you know, this is a carousel that I made, right. 42% of businesses are investing in AI very rarely I'm just like, hey, buy my course. Yeah, you'll see a few times where I'll do a direct thing. I'll be like, hey guys, companies are adopting AI at an unprecedented pace. Automation, AI driven decision making. Right. And so what happened here is I created all these posts and all these different things and if I go, if I go here, see all like want you in my course. This is cool, right? But I talk about their problems as an entrepreneur. Yeah, Here is the, here's the thing. And again, I'm trying to do this as fast as humanly possible. I've got two days to do an entire business. I need ads. This was a video, right, of somebody spinning. It's got some. I know I've been an entrepreneur. I am an entrepreneur. I've been that, I've lived through that. I've raised money and man, it's so freaking hard. I understand you because I am you and let's do that. And so cool stuff here. You know, you have what it takes to thrive in an AI powered world. Discover your AIQ and step into what's next. The General AI Proficiency Institute, you know, so I just did all this stuff and I would work on these while Replit is working on something, right? I'm working on building all this content. So I'm using chat GPT to say, hey, what's the matter? In general, guys when you're. When you're building your product. And this comes all the way back to building the product, right? This is why I sold it so fast. Message. Okay. I like that message. That's pretty good. And then I'm over here in Canva and I'll just be like, okay, let's create a new designs. Because even before I was talking to customers, I was saying, what is this sign and canvas? Amazing, right? I can just be like, Facebook ad, whoops ad. And then it will, you know, okay, let's do, you know, 1200 by 628. Hey, let's do a. Let's do a video ad. Let's do all these different things. Then I'm over here in. Let's see if I customer going to say or think when they land on my page, right? Or they have it open here. Yeah, let's see if I can find General AI Proficiency Institute campaigns. I have none. I have none running right now. But you can see I spent $163 on it. But I want to. Okay, awesome, awesome. I want to do new aware. Am I. Am I solving a problem that I know they have? Because I have this problem. Problem, right? I had this problem at my last company, and I wish I'd had this. And so how can I. How can I quickly convey this value and make that happen? Right? And so I. I share that in this campaign. Which one was it? Which one was it? I want to see if I can find. I want to find this exact. Only because I want to. I want you to just know that everything that I'm saying. This exact one here. Hold on. Let's see. What is this? I want to go. Sorry, guys. I'm looking for my. Yeah, I don't want today. I don't want today. I want go. Yeah, let's go. Last month spent here. New awareness campaign. That's a different one here Comes from that type of a perspective. I'm always ultra thinking about the customer. The product is built. It's presented in a way that. That the customer goes and they're like, oh, yeah, I want that. Oh, my gosh, I want that more. Oh, I'm digging in deeper. I'm digging in deeper. I love this because it's saying all. Oh, where is it? Where is it? Where is. I swear I'm in the right account. Ad account. That's this right here. Why is it showing these things? I hate Facebook, man. Facebook's so, so, so tough. I'm gonna find it here, though. Maybe it's aware. It's not that one. Add off things, you know that I want to do it. And I'll even ask Chat GPT to write. I don't know if this is it for sales test.
There's a few other tools you might want to look at. One's called Wicked Ads. It gets you really clear attribution for other media like YouTube. So if you wanted to publish to YouTube.
Absolutely. I'm going to write, I'm going to write Wicked Ads down right now. Yeah, Wicked Ads. I'm taking a note of that. I am all about for good things now. I've gotten pretty good copy like that. Let's say I want you to write it in a way that causes the customer to get drawn in. I'll use phrases like Facebook. Facebook is actually I've made a lot of money on Facebook ads. I do it for my piano. For my piano music. That's where I've really nailed it down. I've got it to where I can spend money and I can make money, right? That when I'm talking to Chad GPT and talking to, to the different things. Okay, so I have ads almost always running on my, on my, on my piano stuff. But, but this is what I put together in, you know, in that. In that weekend, right? I put together a bunch of different types. So.
For.
And I'm going to back up a little bit for types of content, right? So I had this ad set up and I'm not going to go through the entire ad set. It's not that hard. But I had some images, right? And I had a few videos. So I had 10, 10 options, right? 10 variations of that. And then I had all these variations of the primary text, right? Right. Do this, do this. What's your gen ipi? My idea was this. My original idea was this. I wanted to build a proficiency test and. And my idea was an. An IQ test. Okay? The IQ test is effective and efficient because iq. Are you ready for AI? Right? Apply text. I didn't actually apply those things. Whatever. I applied a couple of them but you know, add a website URL. I did that. Obviously it's going to my, you know, genai, your job, your career, your vent. Here's some headline different things, here's some variations, here's some descriptions and things like that. So now when you look at an ad, it's right, like hey aiq, done an IQ test many times online because, you know, I'm Bain and I want to see how smart I am, you know, and the score that defines your future. What's Your aiq. AI adoption is skyrocketing, but very few professionals know how to use it effectively. If your skills don't evolve, neither will your career. General AI Proficiency Institute. Right. Your job, your career, and your future depend on AI. Learn more. You know, pretty. Pretty solid right now. I am not going to purport that I am the best advertiser in the world. I mean, everybody does. Everybody wants to see how smart they are. But when you go to any IQ test online, like, watch, I'll just, I'll just do it right here. Not. But I'm efficient and I can get things done. And, and, and, and this was good enough. If I just go and I search for, you know, online IQ test, right? And I find, you know, free IQ test. Think IQ Academy. Okay? Verify that. I got. During this campaign, I got something like 130 people to land on my website in the first day. Okay. First day and a half, we're going to say. And what happened was when they would, they would click on it, and I was able to go into my analytics that I set up in Gen ipi. And you're a human. All right, that's great. Okay. And then I'll do. Hey, I want to do the fast one here. And I'm not going to actually look. And I could see, okay, they started the test and they'd finished the test and they'd set up the account. Actually do that. Right. But I'll go through this, and when I get to the end, my cognitive function are undeniable. That's a, That's a great review right there. And then they'd go to buy something, and I had a problem with my. I had a problem with my purchase thing. And so I didn't make any purchases during that first day, that first, you know, 36 hours. And so I was like, oh, whatever. And I paused the ad and I went in. So that's kind of fun. And, And I was like, okay, you know, whatever. That's fine. I'll come back to that later. And I said, all right, I need to make money as fast as humanly possible. And so I. From there, I jumped in and, And I just started messaging a few people on LinkedIn, right? Business owners. I said, hey, I've got this new. Anyway, but if I, If I go through and I finish this right. You know what? We'll just, we'll just do it. And I'm gonna be wrong, and I'm obviously not. Thing with AI, I want to, I want to test and train your employees and things like that, and, you know, here's why it's important. And I'm not kidding, guys. In 25 minutes, I had one person say, yeah, give me a call. And I called them up really quick, and I had a $15,000 contract. By the end of that phone call, I'm going to put in my thing, because I don't want it to think I'm stupid, but let's say I go through this whole thing processing. Processing your answers. It is not going to get done, okay? So obviously, give me my answer or my. My score. Okay. You know, that's not. That's not where I'm going to stop here. But I just am telling that story. That's. I got my first deal, and I've got a lot more deals. I just got a deal last night from another student that took the course. He's a CEO, and he said, I need you to come teach my whole company. Right. And so does this course act as. As a. An advertisement itself? Totally. And this was my model for Gen aipi. I wanted people to have. Totally. Right? Like, Seth is gonna go off and be like, you know, you run into someone and you're like, dude, you should take this course. Right? And you know what else I'm gonna do? I'm gonna turn all of you guys into affiliate marketers. For me, these, you know, optional affiliate marketers, right? I'm gonna say, hey, if you guys go and find someone or you refer someone to the course, I'll pay you a hundred bucks.
Awesome.
Cool. Just say, hey, you know, you can. You can use my phone number. You can set up a tab to enter an email address. Hey, here's your iq. Okay, great. Hey, we want to. We want to do this. IQ measurement details. See how good that is? It's not asking me. Hey, tell us more about you. It's IQ measurement details, right? I'm 38 and I'm male. And, you know, I'm in the United States, whatever. Next group. And say, hey, John, I want to introduce you to Dave, right? He wants to take course I told him about. Okay, continue. And so now I'm like, hey, you've successfully completed this. Congratulations. All right, I'm going to analyze your spatial thinking. I'm going to analyze your pattern recognition. Oh, man, I'm so excited to get him set up and. Okay, great. Or you can just text me and say, hey, this guy just signed up for your course, and I'll send him you a hundred bucks right there. Okay, go.
And guess what.
Yeah.
WhatsApp now has MCP oh really?
That's awesome.
So that means you can create your bot that feels super personal and you can have your contact like it can be automating most of those conversations and scheduling if you want it.
Yeah, that's so cool. Yeah, I will. I need to do that. Go ahead. By the way, guys, an MCP is an API that connects to AI directly. Right? It could, it can do all. It's. This is all for show, guys. This is crazy. It's. Of course it's not doing these things. It takes one second to do all that. Less than a second to do all that. Do some really, really neat things. I'm. Yeah. MCPs are something that, that I'd like to, I'd like to teach more about. I've started using and playing with them, but they're, they're really, really cool and they're, they're the future. I don't know if you noticed when we clicked on the Zapier website, it said 100 plus MCPS already, right? So like it's, it's. They're even Zapier is using MCP's calculations, but now it's doing it. Okay. Boom. Now you have to pay for your.
Sometimes when you have those progress bars, it delays the user. They're not actually getting.
So that's really cool. But yes, you can automate everything. Everything I'm talking about is automatable. Right. But, but for me, I had this.
Skill better value but they convert better. It is so interesting.
Totally. Totally. And and again I'm working. You know, we've got one of the best marketing group of I know how to sell. And so I'm gonna take advantage of that and I want to get to revenue as fast as possible. And so I'm going to do that now. I want to go back in really quick here for both John in the world here with Angel Studios that's done amazing things with the chosen and gosh dang it, what a. What a goal and for Xena creating a Facebook ad. And I want to talk about this a little bit. I know Seth probably knows a lot of this too, but I want to, I want to to just see it too. So they, there's there's some global phenomenon and amazing things you and Darl Eves and everybody have done together on that side of things. So so obviously we could have you teach this part of the class for, for sure. But, but the reality is guys, I, you know. Yeah, I, I, I don't want this like so, so pretty cool stuff. Why is My metapixel not active. That doesn't make sense. I swear it is active. But that's okay. The targeting for this, right? If you go into first sales test here and you go down to budget, daily budget. Yeah, I turned off, I turned off the daily budget completely. But this Advantage plus so obviously meta is, you know, using AI all over the place. They have their own AI, you know, models and all kinds. But it does is it makes you sign up for it and then it's a dollar and then it renews in seven days for 29.99. I'm just like, I, I don't, I don't want this, right? But I do want it and so I pay for a dollar. So what I did, I went a step this up. But their Advantage plus audience is insane. It is absolutely crazy. You don't even have to know how to back from this. I didn't make them, I didn't make them pay for it, right? If you go to genaipi.org and you target anymore. It used to be with Facebook ads, even just a few years ago, you had to get like professional, take the test. You start the test and you go through. And it's only to ad buyers. If you're going to spend any level of money, you had to get professional ad buyers and targeters that do all these tests and iterations and things. And now you can still do all those tests and iterations. You can play, you know, just like I did in the other, in the other screen here, right? We have all these ad variations. All of my ad variations were like totally different. But you could have 10 very similar things testing in there and see which one. Actually 12 questions and you know, we'll go through it here really quick. This won't take that long and wait for it. What I did was I made it. This was a system I played with and a workflow. I actually works the best. But, but, but this targeting now goes out and says, hey, we're going to figure this out for you. We'll start, we'll do that and you can even, you know, audience suggestion optional, right? You can say, all right, you know what, let's, let's put this in front of, you know, like kayakers or something, right? Or look like audiences, right? Let's do some, some demographics here and say, yeah, like to really kind of figure out how to do this. And I, and I rift back and forth with chat GPT about how can we make this really good. I want, I want to, you know, teach people AI that Like to kayak. And that's probably a bad idea. Right. But the point is, you could give it some suggestions, but it's still going to go out and. And figure out what's going on. Right? So, like, if I'm doing piano music, sure, I'm going to give it a suggestion and say piano music, you know, or. Or piano players. Right. And things like that. And. And that'll help it a little bit. But the reality is you could. You can do none of that and just say go, and it will take it. And by the way, it takes a few days for it to figure it out. Anybody know what the minimum budget is and how long? Kind of like an IQ test where they pull you in and then you have to enter your email address to see the score and things like that. Or you have to pay for it to see the score. And so I just basically made it this way, right? Where once you finish, it comes up and says, hey, create an account. See your score, super easy. You have to do it for it. To figure out what's going on to where you're like, yeah, I'm comfortable with this. What do you think, Seth? Right. Your free assessment results will be saved to your profile. So now I get them.
I don't remember. I know it's. I don't remember.
It's. It's changed. So even if you didn't remember, it might be different now.
But today we don't look at minimums at Angel.
You don't. You're not. You're way above the minimums there. But it's $5 for seven days. $5 a day. It's all it takes to create a username, an email, a password. They click create, count, can and continue. And when they. For it to. For it to properly identify your audience and start getting some results. And you might get results earlier, but, like, after seven days, it knows what it's doing.
35 bucks, you can find out your audience and how effective your ad is. That's amazing. That is amazing.
It's crazy. If you do that, right? If I just do a fake account right here@gmail.com and you know password, it's absolutely crazy. Now, part of me doesn't believe that word. I think it's going to check for a match here. If I click Create account and continue, it's going to send an email over there and, hey, I got a 58 out of 100 just randomly clicking through that. That's pretty good, actually.
Create tons of ads is.
Is the great ads, man.
Yeah, diverse Ads and then build a.
Tool and go for it, right? And just let it go, right? But you can run, you could run five company ideas simultaneously and you're only spending $175. And then, and then, okay, great, now I'm in. Now I've got an account over a week and, and now you're like, oh, this is the best. I just got an email as well. Or I would have if I put in a real email address. But I've got an email now where I can now, you know, as, as the owner of Gen ipi. I can then put them into a sequence id. I'm going to roll with this, right? This is make a bunch of things with replit and be like, hey, I'm going to get it, I'm going to publish it. You know, that takes a little bit of time but. And you're probably not doing five at a time. But the point is anytime you build something back, I wonder what the, what the world thinks. Well, you can go out and you can, you know, if I want and I can start pushing things and I, you know, that was kind of my idea, right? And stand in a mall and, and talk to people. Or you can just throw it out there for 35 bucks and see what a few thousand people think. If anyone clicks on it, right, you can put a, you know, choose your next step, improve your skills, explore courses, get certified and you know, wherever you click feedback thing on there and see if anyone fills it out. Hey, what do you think of this product? Product, right. See if anybody clicks on a scale of 1 to 10, is this cool? Right? Get some, whatever, whatever the heck you can think of. Build it out, it's there and for 50 bucks you, it's going to take you over to that spot and then, hey, I'm going to get access to this and oh, this is really cool. Lifetime access. You've got a huge amount of research done. So market validation for 19. Yeah, let's do that. I'd love to. I'd love to see what this is. And then, hey, boom. Now here I am, ready to pay. Now I'm taking some money from people. And so that flow felt pretty nice. Is everything. You gotta talk to people, talk to people. That is how you win. So many people. So many people are so afraid. Nice, you know, and on the night that, nights that I was working on this, I got to this stage where I could do all this to pick up the phone these days or they'll send an email and be like, oh yeah, no one's Responding, right? No, I picked up my phone or I messaged someone on LinkedIn. I'll come to you, Seth. And I got a deal. And then I called a couple other people and I got a couple other deals lined up. I didn't close a couple of them. One of them said, no, this now. Then. Then, you know, I had to do my mark because it was a government thing and it was really hard to get. And then. And they had some weird systems. I was like, I don't want to deal with that, so whatever. But then I had another couple of companies that are moving forward. You know, Johnny. Marketing side of things, which we'll talk about more in a minute. But what I did for marketing was. Oh, by the way, I just. I did. That's interesting. Why is it saying log in? Maybe I click sign up. No, no, no, no, no. That's weird. I'm going home. How did I get home and have. Hannah. You met him. Seth. Yeah. He's the founder of. Of Homey and Entrada and all these things. Right? And he's with Funnel right now. He's going to get all three of his companies trained with this. Right? I have. I have $50,000 of contracts lined up with his companies. Get out. Oh, you know what? It's. Because it went to the payment and then I clicked back. And that took me. And it made it look like it was logged out, but it wasn't actually. I've actually seen something like that before. Okay, so little bug fix in my head there. So not a bad bug. Not a bad bug. Not critical.
Awesome.
So I just did that because I was like, hey, Johnny, what do you think? Right? And I just kind of knew him. I hadn't talked to him in a year, whatever. But I just. I just text him, I was like, hey, I'm. I'm doing this thing. And he's like, let's jump on a call. And I jumped on a call with him. He was on his way to a Tesla, you know, fixing his. Fixing his Tesla appointment. I was like, dude, this is amazing. I. It's gonna. It's gonna absolutely change what you're. That I need to fix right now. But the doing here, like, I've been in your seat. I know the world is changed. The world of entrepreneurship has changed. I can increase productivity across your whole organization by 50. I can increase it by 50% for a fraction of what that value will bring to you. And he's like, this is amazing. And I told him a couple examples. Like, here's an idea. Here's here's one way you could use AI today. So my idea was, okay, if I can get people to just land on this right here, take the free AI Mastery Predictor test. That was my goal with my ads. Get them to land here, okay? Then I get them to start the test and if I, and I gave them an example. I think I did the example with you guys yesterday about how to take care of the, the farm. Remember that? Did I do that with you guys yesterday? I don't know if I did. Where I just like recorded in my notes. Yes. And I had you guys, I had you guys work on that, right? Just record, talk to it and then, and then implement. You guys did it with your own thing, right? Let Chat GPT summarize it. And I told him that idea and he's like, oh my gosh, he's like, you just changed like this. Get them to finish the test and get them to create an account. I knew I was going to have some drop off at every, at every stage here, right? And so I started an ad. And, and by the way, we'll, we'll talk about how I did the ad. In fact, I'll, I'll take a break really second and talk about how I did the ad, the ad creation. So basically the best call I've had in the last two weeks. Like I, I'm going to use that all the time now. Like there's so many times I have ideas, I don't know what to do with it and never get anywhere. And you just showed me this workflow and is, and, and he's like, is your course filled with stuff like this? I was like, yeah. He's like, done, let's go. Right, so it just comes down to talking to people. And here's the cool thing. I went into Grok and Chat GPT and I went back and forth and I just said, hey, I want you to create some. In fact, I bet I've got them right here. I'll pull it up here in Chat GPT Jan AI. I don't care if I don't get the deal. That's what always puts people and people, if you, if you really need or want the deal and you're talking like that, you're gonna say stupid things and they're gonna sense that, right? But if you're just like, dude, look, I really just want to help you see this? Like, is your company doing any AI training? Oh, you are already. That's awesome. What are you doing? How's it working? Is it making A difference. Can I. Can I PI. Let's actually look at them here. Venture tagline request social media posts. Here we go. So I basically said like quote you on this. This is awesome. Like I might not get the deal now, but I really care about. These are a bunch of. This is some pictures and random things here. Let's create a social post. There'll be several power if they're getting the outcome that I'm trying to push towards and. And by powerful slides in a row for a carousel post. Yeah, that was. That was something different. I want to go having that kind of an approach. I just naturally will say the right things because. Because I'm their friend. I'm not their enemy. It's not me versus them. It's back here. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. So I basically just said maybe we're working together and we're trying to solve something and it's going to be awesome. Okay, so that's 10 posts with images for social media that talk about the power of what Jenny API is doing.
And it already has been one of the biggest successes I've had continually. My career is you champion the user and you build for them because otherwise who are you building for? Who in the world are you building for if it's not for the. Your audience?
And that sounds. Knows the context of my project. Right. So okay, great. And yeah, so here are some of those things. Right. Here it is. Post 1. Future belongs to the AI proficient. Like so obvious. But there's so many people especially and I'm not trying to single out a certain group here but I'm going to developers Fish Nickels future proofing. Okay. So I read through it. I was like, okay, that's cool. Whatever. That's great. That are like I think this is so cool. And they haven't talked to any customers or whatever. Like it'd be really cool. This button did this and they spend 16 hours over two days. Okay. Would you like me to generate the images post for these posts now? Yes. And then it created it and I was like, okay, I don't really love this, you know, or three days knocking out this animation of this button that provides zero value to that customer. And they're just wasting time. They think it's cool. And then when they present it to the CEO, the CEOs like, Ooh, I like that you're. You're. You've got a job still.
Yeah, that's the reason why I'm in these.
This was not really what I wanted one of these pictures to be more Realistic. Let's make sure we show some girls. It was all dudes. I was like, I want it. I want AI to feel accessible to everybody. Right.
The position is chief experience Officer that I am.
Yeah.
So we find the ways to figure.
Out what people and so you know, let's, let's change that a little bit.
It.
And then I said, all right, let's.
Create one and we build that thing. We stay laser focused on it and sometimes it doesn't.
The powerful slides. Right. Your companies aren't doing this right. There's no formal standard. How do we do this?
That way sometimes there's other stakeholders that have gravitas and pull people towards something and then it returns back to like actually this is what the user needs. And that's when every time, that's when we have leaps and bounds of growth. This next release that we're at least we just barely past the, the biggest biblical animated film of all.
And then I said, all right, please create five options for powerful and click baity but still professional ads for someone to take the AI Mastery Predictor IQ test. Maybe focus on the term AIQ as a play on words. I know it's AI iq, but I can still get people curious about how.
Smart releases we just like. It opens tonight. We've passed all pre sales of all other companies, all other movies ever combined.
I love it.
Sorry, not combined.
They are related to AI. You know, are you smarter than AI? Stuff like that. I don't know. Yeah, there it is right there.
Sorry.
But of all of them. Out of all of them. Yeah, any single one. You're beating it already.
Yeah, we beat Prince of Egypt and that like even scaling for those inflation. So it's really cool.
Is it good? Is King of Kings good? Is that, is it good?
Yeah, it's, it's really special. It's tender. It, it puts you in the place of, of you know, walking alongside Jesus and having a kid just kind of learn about Jesus for the first time and it's, it's incredible.
I really love that. That's really cool. I look forward to seeing it. I will show my kids it. For what's your aiq? AI will change everything. Will you keep up? AI fluency is the new literacy aiq, the score that defines your future. Right. And so I, I then, you know, I still didn't love a lot of the images that I was finding and seeing here, but I was like, okay, these are pretty good. These are pretty good posts. Right? All right. Make the entire thing readable. Sure. We'll Go. We'll go to the theater and watch it.
One of the things I want to say when I raise my hand, if that's okay.
Yeah, you did raise your hand. Yeah, go ahead.
Is it's kind of interesting. The psychology of what's happening too is AI has turned us into the bots in some way. Like because it's now able to produce.
You know, tens of thousands of nine seconds. I want it half this length. Needs to be more inspirational. Right. Make it tie into the visual creative. Give me some copy for this. And, and so anyway, I was taking some of these different pieces here and, and, and you know, hey, don't. I don't want it.
Widgets. And then we leave it to the humans to find out which of all this trash is the good thing or the thing that you want. And so we become the filter. It's just really interesting to have those tables flipped. Like, I still love to craft fonts. I still love to do, you know, kind of noodle in on things and carve things, you play in the piano and things like that. But it's intriguing to have outsourced.
Easy, keep it professional. Fix this one. I want the visual, the visual for this is going to be this someone spinning and seeing a lot of the.
Creation when I mean, it's hard. There's a lot of things that.
Anyway, and so what I did is I then came over to a tool that you're, you know, many of you are familiar with and oh, sorry, gosh, I keep forgetting. I've moved this over to this one right here, which is Canva. Right. And, and Canva is quite amazing. And those of you that have used it, you know, know how, how powerful it is and it has a lot.
Of AI tools should be automated, especially if you're in the seat of a. Like it's fun where they have the CEO and do these things that have all your, all your workers do these things. It's just interesting to step away from the creation because there's a lot of fulfillment in creation too. But this is a new type of creation. It's a new type of directing. It's just different. But I still miss some of the other kind of fine tuning and crafting things.
You're very right, man. Tools and features right now as well. And so this is a carousel that I made, right. 42% of businesses are investing in AI. Companies are adopting AI at an unprecedented pace. Automation, AI driven decision making. But here's the thing. You're right. And so what happened here is I created all These posts and all these different things. And if I go you're a better director of AI because you know how to do this. If I go here see all like things. You work through those things. Things, right. Some new novice, my, you know, my 12 year old might be able to do something that you only used to be able to do but you're still going to get a better result in the end because you're going to be like okay good. But let's focus on these little details that you know, my 12 year old doesn't know to even think about. Right. Because you know how to direct. You know how to direct that and get the, you know the right. The right. Yeah. Here is the. Here's the thing and again I'm trying to do this as fast as humanly possible. I've got two days to do an entire business. I need ads. This was a video right of somebody spinning. It's got some cool stuff here. You know, you have what it takes to thrive in an AI powered world. Discover your aiq. You know just like when John Williams stands up and conducts. I had the opportunity to see in a couple years ago we got to go see John Williams live. Got to see him conduct his own music and gosh man, if you want to talk about like the master, right Just standing up there and the music that he pulled out there was another conductor that night and beautiful. But then it's John Williams and not only. And step into what's Next, the General AI Proficiency Institute. You know so I just did all this stuff and I would work on these. Not only does is he just so good at and the music so good but the players themselves just perk up a little bit. They're just like okay, like this is. This is John. While Replit is working on something, right. I'm working on building all this content. So I'm using chat GPT to say hey, what's the. This is the maestro. Like this is. Let's go right? Like can they just play for him because. Because they understand that he knows what's going on in a different way. And AI can detect that too, right. It will say hey that's a really astute observation. It will literally say things like that or hey, you know what you're doing right? And message. Okay, I like that message. That's pretty good. And then I'm over here in Canada.
