Hi, this is Dean Graziosi and welcome back to the weekly blog. I hope you were able to jump on the teleseminar a live conference call I did last week. What I want to talk about today, yesterday here in the studio, this is my studio that we film in. We did a show and had Matt Larson here, one of our top students. He won the contest in 07 and something he said yesterday really hit a chord because it's some of the things I forget now. Matt started, he was living in a 300 square foot apartment. His parents told him that buying real estate, he grew up his whole life that buying real estate was the worst investment you could ever make. In fact, he said if you would talk to his dad about buying a house rather than renting, it would almost lead to a fist fight. That's how bad it was in their family. So Matt had a lot of obstacles but you know, working as a machine worker, struggling to get by, doing 80 hours a week, barely paying the bills, had no money in the bank account. He got my program one night late like all of you have. And when he started doing it, he had so many people in his life calling him a loser and telling him that stuff doesn't work and you got ripped off that he literally when his friends would come over his house and they'd bring a six pack to go out for the weekend or go out and come over and watch a football game, he would run around the house and grab all his real estate stuff that he got from hide it because people were making fun of him. If that's what you have to do, who cares? Do it. Because at the end of the day, Matt is now a millionaire worth over a million dollars, has over 40 properties, has over $10,000 a month in positive cash flow. After every single bill is paid, he gets to put $10,000 a month in his pocket. Matt retired from his job. He's Never going to go to work for anybody else. And. And he's truly living an amazing life, and he's a good guy. He deserves it. So I just want to ask you, is there anybody in your life that makes you feel like you should be ashamed for wanting success? Ashamed that you want to change your life and do it through real estate? If it is and you can't change them and there's someone so close to you and you love them and you can't boot him out of your life, then hide it from him. Who cares? Matt had to hide it from him. But the one thing that I love more than anything is Matt said every single one of those people, including his parents, that he had to hide it from are all coming to him now saying, matt, please share. Because we want to change our lives like you did. We want to not worry about the bills or we want to not worry about the bills like you don't anymore. And we want to quit our jobs. Can you show us how? Please, please, please. Remember, a prophet is never welcome in their hometown. And another one that I love is you never see a statue of a critic.
