Gain capabilities from people who are doing it. Commit to it, be courageous, take action. And confidence is the byproduct. You can't stop the confidence from coming. How often do you have to look at your goals? Every day. Who in here looks at their goals Every day? Right now. Awesome. Awesome. About 10% of you. That's amazing. Everybody should. I'm going to give you a little example. A buddy of mine. You guys know Brendon Burchard. Some of you know Brendan, dear friend of mine, partner, brother. He had a woman that he had a high executive paying him a couple hundred grand a year, 250 a year, I think, to be his coach, right? And she wanted to get. She's so busy. She wanted to get in her ideal weight, whatever that is, right? Whatever your ideal way is, right? Not the weight of someone else. Your best. And she wanted to get back to where she was 10 years prior to. She tried everything. This is a woman who runs a half a billion dollar a year company. Badass boss lady killing it. And she tried everything. Not working. He simply did this. He goes, you got a picture of yourself at your ideal weight? He said, yes. He said, send it to me. Two weeks later, he sends her a full size cutout of her at her ideal weight. He said, stick this in the kitchen every day. She had to come into the kitchen, be like, oh, shit, that's me. My ideal weight. Thirty days later, she was at her ide weight. You know why? She had to look at it every single day. It was in her face. Get your goals, decide where you want to go. Decide that on your way home and look at them every day. And if the things in your life that don't drive you towards that, they got to go. They got to go. And the second question was like, how do I get more confidence? You get more confidence by knowing you're working on things that actually move the needle in your life. You gain confidence by actually doing it. So confidence isn't like this magical thing. And the bullshit about being born with confidence. Nobody's born with confidence. I was the most insecure, shy kid on the planet. You build confidence. Confidence is something you create. It's like a factory inside of you. You either create confidence or you create insecurity. You get to build that. So for me to build confidence, few hacks Write these down. 1. This one's going to show you how smart I am. You ready for this? There are things in your life that you do that take away your confidence. Can we agree on that? You ready for this magical answer? Don't do those. Got me there. Who has friends in their life that tell you you're crazy, you're a dreamer, you should be happy with what you got. Be honest. Okay. Who's ever had a conversation? Then when you got done, you're like, I'm going after it. You're like, oh, let me just. Should I. Maybe they're right. It's cumulative. You get a little bit of news, mix in a little friend who tells you you're crazy, Little inner insecurity, those three things, you're screwed. It's over, it's done. It's cumulative. It's just enough for you to play small. And it ain't never going to work. So if there's something that pulls your confidence down even a little bit, guess what? Don't do it. Say no. Don't go hang out with that friend. Don't watch the news. Don't read the newspaper. Don't let your mom give you a lecture. Find a way to put barriers up with the people you really love that you can't throw out of your life and talk about different things. You know what I find? Most people that are negative, it's not their fault. It's just that's the way they're doing it. You can try to help them. So all you need to do is ask a question about them. When they start telling you what you should do with you, you don't have to throw them out of your life. You don't have to tell them, please be quiet. I'm positive now because that shit don't work. That shit surely doesn't work. Oh, you're positive now? Well, let me tell. Let me tell you how to get real. All you got to do to fix that is just ask something about them. And most of the time, people who are negative about the future, they're positive about the past. Back in the good old days when Kennedy was there, when Reagan was there, when Clinton was there, like, whatever, like just some crazy shit. So all you got to do is just ask them something about them or ask them something about the past, let them talk, and then bolt out of there. Get out alive. So my whole point on confidence is one thing is eliminate the things that take your confidence down even just a little bit. Identify them, eliminate them. Number two, Commit and do the action. Be courageous. Look at the confidence level that raised in the last 24 hours. 100% of you raised your hand just by doing. So commit to doing, because that's courageous. That's being courageous, which allows you to gain the confidence. Gain capabilities from people who are doing it. Commit to it, be courageous, take action. And confidence is the byproduct. You can't stop the confidence from coming. That's just how confidence works. We create it. Eliminate the things in your personal life that take away or ding your confidence and bam, confidence goes up.
