Inspiration is NEVER enough... Here's Why (ft. Trent Shelton) | MM #003

Dean Graziosi and Trent Shelton argue that inspiration without action changes nothing. People use excuses like "easier said than done" to avoid change, and others sabotage you because of their own unresolved issues. Focus on real problems and growth, not busywork.

We get so used to wanting to satisfy our parents when we're young, and then maybe we want to satisfy college professors, and then we get in a job and want to satisfy the people we work with or our bosses that we forget who we are. And I'm realizing something more than ever, you guys are addicted to how it feels to watch me. But you're not changing anything because you're coming on here month after month, still in the bad relationships, still not making more money. Without action, guys, nothing changes, right?
Yeah. Lady fired me up, man. Like that comment of. Because I see that so much the easier said than done or that's easy for you to say, you know, and that. That always gets me fired up. Because it's like people get lost in that excuse, you know, and it's like they just want inspiration, feel good stuff or complain and don't want to do anything to change. So I'm definitely there, like, as far as, like that. Just that mindset.
Yeah. Inspiration isn't enough. We're going live with my inner circle members. Every month I go live for about an hour, hour and 20 minutes and train on the biggest breakthroughs I've had. Today. I want to go deep on getting to take action with it, right? Because people hear it, they know it's important, but then they go back to work on the things that are easy to go back on, the busy work, right? They're like, what happens is you have a to do list. It's like, oh, selling and building my website. So let me just go work on the product or let me work on the stuff that doesn't move the needle. So I'm really gonna hammer it home today. If you want bigger results in your life, get bigger problems. What I bet to say is, if someone's being disrespectful to you, they don't have big enough problems in their life. They're worrying about the little things. You're focusing on a bigger future. Sometimes people can't handle when other people are moving faster than them. People want more, they want more money, they want the bigger business. But because you're actually doing something and they're just hoping it comes, they're not working on their personal development and their personal growth. They get envious, they get disrespectful, they get downright rude, and they'll tell you you're crazy, tell you it's not going to work. You have two choices. Find a way to separate or become Teflon. Because people, when people act like especially the whole 7 levels deep thing that I do. But when people act, there's always. It's like you get in a fight with your girlfriend or your wife over the silliest thing. She forgot to take out the garbage. It's never the garbage. It's because three days ago, you disrespected her. Maybe you were looking at. She thought you were looking at a girl across the street. She held that. And then something else happened, and something else happened, and finally you forgot to take out the garbage. Then she blows up like, wow, why would you know about the garbage? It's nothing to do with the garbage. It's five layers deeper. There was a cause, and her yelling was the effect of that. Right? And when you realize that when the outside world acts a certain way, it's usually not you. It's because there's a cause and effect. And I never used those words, but I thought it was an easy one for my kids because I know some days my daughter will come home and say, wow, this one, my friend, this one didn't talk to me. Or this one didn't get her way, and she got mad. And then I wish someone would have told me at 15. And it's never you. I mean, it's what you preach every single day, but it's never you. But there's a cause, and then a side effect is that. And I think. I think everybody needs that message.
It.
