My Secret Sauce To Success 🍝🥫

Dean Graziosi (podcast/video) argues that aligning personal values is the key "unfair advantage" for reaching the next level of income, life, and wealth. Through a personal Father’s Day anecdote about parenting and hiring, he illustrates that children and teammates read authenticity and that misaligned values undermine relationships and business results. He advises listeners to identify their core values, use those values to attract (and repel) people/customers, and offers a webcast with Tony Robbins (deanstraining.com) to help extract skills, align values, and monetize impact.

The unfair advantage is to decide and understand what values align with who you are. With all the opportunities that exist today, why haven't you reached your next level of income, life and wealth? In most cases, we've been lied to. We've been told that if you find the right opportunity and you work hard, you can be successful. And that's simply not true. Millionaires, billionaires, and successful people have realized you need the foundation for wealth, the habits. And that's exactly what you'll be learning on the Millionaire Success Success Habits podcast. All success starts here. Welcome to the Millionaire Success Habits podcast. Today, what do values have to do with next level success? How important are they? Is it too fufu? Is that something too spiritual? And you just want the tactics to get wealthy, happier, more abundant? Or could it actually be the key to unlock your next level of everything you crave in your life? Hey, it's so good to have you here at the podcast. We're in under 10 minutes. Week after week, we go upstream to set the foundation for success, give you the rules, the habits to go to your next level. And today we're going to discuss values. Hey, when I'm recording this, it is the day after Father's Day. And if you know anything about me, and if you're just joining me for the first time, it's so great to have you here. If you're back week after week, awesome. Thank you. But if you don't, you'll soon know that being a parent is really, really important to me. Like most parents, right, I'm not unique. Everybody loves their children, But I really obsess on it. I didn't have a lot of guidance when I was a kid. My parents were married nine times. Between the two of them, I moved a lot. Great people. But their parenting capabilities weren't so much. Right. They didn't have a great influence, and I didn't have the best influence. So I've been on a mission. I've read some book after book. I've interviewed over 50 parents who I think are incredible at what they do and raising incredible children to find out, what are the rules. How does this work? So yesterday, when it was Father's Day, I really reflected. And what I realized is my values are what will shine through to my children. Right? I was trying to give a Facebook message, an Instagram message, a YouTube message about, you know, I just wanted to congratulate all the amazing dads out there and my own dad and all those things. But I really thought about it. Kids don't do what you say they become who you are, and kids watch you in a way, if you're a parent. If you're not, someday you'll see this or watch your nieces or nephews or other people. You know, kids will watch you in a unique way. And you wonder what they're thinking. To me, I feel like they're reading your soul. Like anything could come out of your mouth. And as little kids, they're like, B.S. like, they have this B.S. meter that's like, it goes off. Woo, woo, woo. The sirens go off when they know that it's crap. You're saying one thing, but I can tell you act another. And to me, that translates to your values. Now, have my values always been perfect? Are they perfect now? No. I think we keep transcending. I hope. I look back in 10 years, and I'm somewhat embarrassed of some parts of me today, but I look back 10 years ago, and there are some values and things that I thought were what I wanted to go after and why I was fighting for things that I'm kind of embarrassed about. So that's great. So why this talk on values? Because here's why. I want to give you a little story. For years, my team has been asking me to do a more personal vlog, meaning have someone follow me around and film behind the scenes. Like, whenever I'm on camera, I want to give a lesson. I want to share what I've learned through life, through businesses, through owning over 13 companies, from failing miserable to having massive success. I want to teach, teach, teach, because I wish someone did it for me. But we get tens of thousands of messages a year saying, hey, we just want to see what you do in your home and your morning routine or how you are with your. Your kids or when you're coaching softball. So my team gets all these messages. They're like, dean, please, please, please, let's hire someone. They'll fly with you, they'll eat with you. They'll be in the car with you. To me, that's like. Feels like I'm being choked. I'm not an extrovert. I'm an introvert. I love hanging around people. Like, everybody listening to this podcast, we'd get along because we have, you know, we're similar. We have. We have the same values in a lot of way, we have the same desires. But a lot of times in life, it's not like that. And I don't like going to parties. I don't go to fundraisers. I don't go to my. My kids, parents, houses. When there's, when they get invited. I know it sounds terrible, but I just don't. So the thought of having someone around me non stop, like someone in my space right here, filming when I'm with my kids, filming when I'm in a car, filming when I'm flying in a little plane, they'd be right next to me and I just like, oh, no, I'm not doing it, I'm not doing it. But my team has pushed and we've gotten so many messages. So a few years ago I'm like, all right, I'll do it. So I started thinking through, if someone's going to spend this much time with me, man, I need to know that their values align with mine. I started writing down, like, someone's going to spend this much time with me, what are their values? I started writing down that they must work on their personal growth. I need to know the last few books they read. I need to know that they're solution oriented. I need to know that they don't need a pat on the back every minute. I need to know that they have a desire to grow that, that they don't find what's wrong with the world. They try to find what's right. They're not fake, they're not hyped, but they're authentic, enthusiastic, they have energy, they work out, they're in good shape, they don't complain, they have gratitude, right? So I'm going through and I'm just, I start writing all these things down, I'm like, okay, okay. If I could find somebody like this, then I could allow them in my life. And the more I thought about it, it's like, wow, that's how I've been hiring for years now. I didn't hire that way when I first started. I've been self employed for over 30. I've never worked for anybody else. So in high school I had kids working for me. When I cut firewood and out of high school I had kids in school working for me to help fix, wreck cars and then work on houses and everything I've done right. So I've never worked for anybody else. I've always had employees and I've screwed that up a lot by going against what the values are. But they look like they're a badass worker. Never worked out. In the history of the world, has a relationship ever worked out when you ignored values because someone was hot, he was handsome and made money, or handsome and good to your family, but didn't have the same values? Where's that relationship now, right? Where are those workers now? Where are those co workers now? Where are those friends now? So I start, oh, my God. Like, I wish someone would have shaken me in my 20s and said, values, right? So I'm digressing. So I start realizing these values, and I'm like, they're mine at my core. And I want to give those values to my children, then let them decide which ones they want. I want people with those same values to work with me. I want my relationships, my wife, everything. And then it hit me. I want everybody who I Who listens to my podcast, everybody who watches my videos, anybody who gets enrolled in my knowledge business blueprint course with Tony Robbins or reads my books Millionaire Success Habits or my new book coming out or gets any of my training. Like, what I realized is the definition of marketing applies here. The definition of marketing that I love the best is attract those you want and repel those you don't. Well, I think that the same with values, I attract those with similar values and repel those that don't. You don't need them. Because I think in life, we believe if we have to be successful, we have to cast a big net. We need all those clients. No, we need the people that have our values. We want to track those in our life and our work and our personal, all areas of life. Because that's when you transcend. That's when you go to the next level. Now, when I use the word transcend, if I heard that word 10 years ago, I might go, ah, that's too fu. Fu for me. No, but. But where are you in your life right now when you're listening to me? Have you tried a lot of things? I bet you have. I bet you've tried reading the books. And I'm not saying you're having a bad life. You're probably crushing it. But if you're listening to me, you want a competitive edge. You want an unfair advantage. I'm telling you right here, right now, on this podcast, the unfair advantage is to decide and understand what values align with who you are. Some of them, you might say, holy crap, this value I have sucks. I need to replace it with this. And you work the next year to create a new value. Here's what I know. Back to the Father's Day thing, because it was yesterday when my children were born, my game stepped up. It did. Because I realized really quick, these kids are going to watch me. They're going to see the BS meter. They're going to become who I am. And I Changed a lot of values. I grew as a man, I grew as a leader, I grew as a human being. So we can all grow. So I'm going to encourage you today to sit down and pretend someone is going to be with you non stop sitting next to you, go to lunch with you, be in the car with you, be on the plane with you. What values must they have for you to feel comfortable? And then turn it on yourself and realize that's your values. And then realize, if you're not getting along with your partner, I bet you your values don't align. I bet you that if you fight with employees or your boss, not the same values, and start thinking, how can I attract more people with the same values? Whether that's selling a course, selling a mastermind, selling real estate, selling whatever or wanting impact lives or writing a book or your brick and mortar company or the business you have, how do I let the world know my values? Because you think you're gonna push people away. You should. Because the flood of people that'll come to you with the alignment of values will be authentic, it'll be real, it'll be anchored. And that's when your business goes to another level. That's when the revenue starts coming in and going to the next level. It's an unfair advantage that most people don't talk about. It doesn't seem sexy. It's that like, oh, you plug this in and hit the switch and money comes pouring in. No, this is the podcast where we get real and raw. You want sustainable success. These are the things you need to learn. Not because I'm magical, not because I got rich overnight, because I got my ass kicked and I screwed up royalty and I figured these things out and it's allowed me to live a life of abundance, do I still screw up? Hell yes. Am I still learning? Yes. But you're here with me and you can have a quick shortcut right now. You should geek out, listen to past.
