I watch him ask the questions in business to elegantly sell, to lean into. Offering his book and leaning into his courses and his masterminds and his workshops so he could serve people at the highest level. And I've watched him take that inner insecurity from that inner villain to turn it into his inner hero. Own your future. Because if you don't, someone else will. Welcome back to the Own youn Future podcast behind the Scenes edition. What we do here is kind of share some of the things that I got to learn while we were filming the podcast. Before, after, or if I know the person that I interviewed a little deeper than most. And each week I follow. Last week I interviewed and we launched the podcast with Mr. Lewis Howes. Now, Lewis has been a friend for over a decade and we had an amazing interview. If you did not hear it, I would suggest soon as we're done, done today, go listen to it, then share it with a couple people. In fact, listen to three. But make sure you listen to Lewis House. He shared some things I'm not sure he's shared anyplace else. And listen, in times like these, why are podcast interviews, learning from others? Why is it so good? Because we're trying to navigate new territory. The world is changing exponentially fast. We got AI changing things so fast, while simultaneously we might have banks shutting down and another bank, next level recession possibly coming. While the media is telling us we're far apart. Uncertainty is high. Should we work from home? Who are we? I mean, there's so many things out there that it's cloudy, it's dusty, and it's hard to hit that target of life that we all crave, that we all want. You wouldn't listen to me, you wouldn't listen to any podcast if you were just happy with the life you have, right? We all have that innate feeling that we're meant for more. When we look in the mirror and think to ourselves, are we living into our full potential? None of us want to get to the end of our lives and meet the person we could have been, right? So that's why we listen to this. It's not a magic money machine. There's no perfect podcast. There's no perfect interview. What there is, is there are moments that we can take in our lives, moments that we learn, I should say, and implement into our lives to make subtle shifts. Because what I've Learned over my 54 years on this planet, 27 years in the industry of, of sharing knowledge and capabilities to help others go to another level, to helping others be in this industry of selling and sharing what they know. I know this. It's never the big thing. There's never a magic money machine or a magic pill to fix the relationship. There's never a magic wand that makes you happy and joyful. It's the little things that become the big things. So in this quick behind the scenes post interviews that we'll try to launch every week for the interview we did prior, early in the week, I want to share a little bit about Louis, of something that might surprise you, someone you, something you might not know. I've spent a lot of time with him. At least twice a year, we spend several days together masterminding, brainstorming, help him with his business or relationships, or he helps me with things he's learned. And one thing you might not know, six foot, I don't know, five. He's a big guy, played professional sports, professional football, walks in a room, handsome, beautiful, beautiful girlfriend. And the relationship is magical. You might not know that. I think Lewis struggled. And I wouldn't share this publicly if he hasn't already. With not feeling worthy, not feeling good enough, not feeling loved. How many of us can relate to certain moments of our lives? A man who had so much accomplishment, allowing the insecurities of a childhood to keep resurfacing, rebubbling. I watched him in an interview. Again, I won't share anything that I haven't heard him share, but I watched him in an interview while things were going amazing, while his podcast was heading towards a half a billion. Hear that? With a B? Half a billion downloads, while he interviewed over a thousand amazing people, impacting people all across the world. Social media exploding, book exploding, business exploding, exploding. I watched him break down emotionally in tears, thinking he wasn't good enough or deserved real love. Now, don't we all have that one area in our lives? And. And I am never, in these behind the scenes going to share something that they haven't shared publicly. But I think it's so refreshing, so vulnerable of somebody like Lewis to share that. Because when you see from the outside perspective, you're like, yeah, but he's got it all. I can't take my life to another level. I couldn't write a book, I couldn't do a podcast. I couldn't create a course, I couldn't teach or whatever it is you decide to do. I couldn't because he has every excuse internally why he shouldn't have done any of this, why he would think I have dyslexia. I had learning disabilities. How could I Ever teach. How could I interview that? Well, I'm not good enough. I'm not loved. And when he spent the time learning from others and doing the work and reading books and going to workshops and going to masterminds and not being. Being afraid to be vulnerable, not being afraid to listen and ask questions, he got the capabilities to shift. And I mean this. I don't know, Louis, prior to 10 years ago, but I know the last 10 years, I've watched this man change exponentially. I watch him when no one's watching in his relationship, and it's truly kick ass. Filled with respect, filled with passion, filled with connection, filled with friendship. I watch him ask the questions in business to elegantly sell, to lean into. Offering his book and leaning into his courses and his masterminds and his workshops so he could serve people at the highest level. And I've watched him take that inner insecurity from that inner villain to turn it into his inner hero. And I just think it's so magical to think through that. Listen, these behind the scenes, I hope they're five, seven minutes long. Just a quick hit in the middle of the week to remind you that you can. To remind you that your past does not dictate your future. To remind you that the things that went wrong could be the things that when they're shifted, are the things that could go right. That if you're going to blame your past for what went wrong, why don't you blame your past for giving you a hunger to be here, listening today? If you are meant for more, then the only thing we have to keep doing is moving forward, to gain skills from others, to learn from people who've already experienced what we're trying to experience and then take the uncomfortable action to move forward. You know, my partner and dear friend Tony Robbins and I, he's been in this business way longer than me. God, 45 years. The human condition is the same year after year. It's those that are willing to be brave, to admit their faults, to see the gaps, gain capabilities, to fill it. That's why we not only love being in this industry, we push other people to be in this industry as well. All of you should be sharing what you know, helping people do a podcast, write a book, do a workshop, do a mastermind, do whatever it takes to share what you know while simultaneously it really helps you heal so you can go to the next level. Thanks so much for tuning in. These are just quick hits. Next week's interview is going to blow your mind. Don't dare miss it is going to be one of our best ever.
