In the pursuit of this excellence you're going after in your own life is how you're going to change the lives of the people around you.
Yeah. And the cool part about it is when you start to see the momentum, it's almost impossible to stop. And the reason that I like talking about this is because most people are stopped before they really get started. And we just got to find whatever it takes to pull us forward. Hey, guys. So happy to have you back for this super special podcast episode. Listen, we all want the unfair advantage on how to thrive in this shifting world. And I think this might be one of the best interviews ever to show you how to go to that next level. It's kind of like the secret weapon of this decade, in my opinion. But first, let me just share who we're here with. We're here with someone who's a dear friend. Not just a dear friend that you say, a dear friend. This is someone who's made an amazing impact or had an incredible impact on my life. I love the father, he is the husband, he is what he stands for. I love what an advocate he is for entrepreneurs. I love the fact that, you know, I could go down a laundry list. He's a multiple best time, you know, best selling author. He is the co founder of Click Funnels. He is an implementer, he is an innovator, he is a creator, one of the best marketers I know. But like I said earlier, what I love most about this guy is his heart, how much he cares, how much he cares about entrepreneurs, his family, his friends. And watching what he's done over the last 10 years has been amazing. So without further ado, let's give it up for my dear friend, friend, Mr. Russell Brunson.
Oh, man. Thank you, Dean. I'm so excited to be here with you. And yeah, this is like my favorite time to hang out with you and brainstorm. And we have rare opportunities every once in a while to jump on and just like, share thoughts and ideas. And the fact that everyone gets to listen in today is going to be so much fun. I know, I'm.
And that's what I was thinking, like, if we could transform this, like when you and I sit together, we just happen to have a camera on, then this will be the greatest interview in the history of the world. Like, I don't want to overthink this because some of my greatest ideas have come with you and I, you know, just sharing with each other on a plane ride or in our office. And here's the cool part. I know, and I want to talk about it today. I know you got this amazing challenge coming up, and I'm so stoked for you, man. I know how much you want to serve. I know how much people need what you deliver and what you share in this crazy, uncertain world. Well, simultaneously, this is the time when you shift your focus, when you see what's available rather than what's taken away. I believe this is one of the greatest times to be in our industry to impact others, to really crush it online. So I'm so excited to talk about that in a little bit. But, you know, guessing, owning click funnels, one of the biggest questions you get is, what's a funnel? What is a funnel? Now, how do I do I need a funnel? What the hell is it? Is it a funnel cake? Is it like, what is a funnel? Right. And I know that's just for beginners. Most people know. But I also know, because we talk a lot, that your definition of a funnel has evolved since you started this. What you first thought and what it is now, which you've shared with me in recent time, has completely changed. And I know you get those questions, and I want to. I want to answer those questions in a way maybe you never have before in a moment. But I wanted to go upstream a little bit, if you're okay with it, because you are my dear friend, and I do know your history, and I know what you went through. And I got a couple other questions, if you don't mind. They're maybe a little more personal.
Okay.
You took a gamble. You got married real young. You wanted to see something different. A lot of people know your potato gun story, which I absolutely love. Right. Your first product you sold online was teaching people how to make a potato gun. I. I don't even know what a potato gun is, but every time you tell the story, I absolutely love it. So for those that don't know, I won't get into it. I won't have Russell share it. But literally, in this studio, he brought all the ingredients where he was making potato guns, where you could literally launch him across the field. And his first online product was teaching people how to build potato guns, which is amazing. But let's go one step deeper. You took a gamble by doing your own thing, right? A lot of people, you go to school, you get a degree, you feel obligated to go down a path of like, hey, I got this degree. This is what I'm supposed to be doing, or a variation of that. And entrepreneurs take crazy gambles. Your family Thinks you're nuts, your friends think you're crazy. And you have that inner voice of saying, what the hell are you doing? Aren't you supposed to be doing something else? It's like you're almost going against the grain the whole time and nobody ever brings that up. It's like you're fighting not only the outside world, you're fighting that inner voice that says, come on Russell, that's for other people, that's for Tony Robbins or somebody else. That's not for you. Right. So let me ask you the byproduct of that. What would your, how would your life been different if you didn't take the gamble of doing your own thing?
Yeah. Such a good question. And it's one of those things I think about. What's the Christmas movie that comes on every year where the guy Wonderful Life. Yeah, it's a wonderful Life. Like what would happen if you took the different, the different direction, something happened to you differently? Like what would the outcomes be? And it's interesting because I thought about that a lot. Especially because those who don't know me, like my background, I was, I was a wrestler. I wrestled in college. Like I'm obsessed with my favorite sport in the world and the plan and the path was like I was going to wrestle, I was going to do whatever and I was going to become a wrestling coach. And I look at that and I think that had I done that, I would, had a really, really good life. Like I wouldn't complain. Like I would have had a chance to coach wrestling. I had a chance to, you know, do all the things and, and it would have been, it would have been amazing. Um, but because I took this, this uncertain journey that's like, ah, I do, I do this thing. And it was weird because for me it was like, I don't even know how to put it into words other than like, I just kept feeling this, like this like tug or this pull. I'm sure people have felt that if you're here listening, I mean, I assuming you felt that, right? And you know, it doesn't make sense. You're like, I, I, for some reason there's this spark and I'm interested, I'm excited. And I kept looking at these things and I remember going on wrestling tournaments. Like we'd be driving, we had 8 or 12 hour bus ride and I'd be in the back, the headphones on, listening to old CDs of marketers talking about selling things online. And like it was just so fascinating to me. But essentially now Fast forward, like, almost 20 years later, I have a chance. I am coaching wrestling. I'm coaching my kids. I'm still doing that piece of it, which I was so excited for. So I didn't. I didn't lose that piece at all. But on top of that, I've had this chance now to serve so many people around the world. And I really feel like had I not had taken this leap of faith, I would have had a really, really good life. I look at my life today, and it's a great life. I still had the thing that I wanted from before. I still get to be with my kids. I still get to wrestle. I still get to experience that. But I also have this insane opportunity to serve the people that I've been called to serve. And I always tell people, the entrepreneurs, I'm like, if you felt that tug, this internal desire you have to create something or make something, I believe it's a gift from God telling you you're called to create. There's a group of people who, because of your specific talents and hobbies and trials, problems you've had in your life, you've been created to help serve that group of people, to get them out of pain or move them to a happier place. And if you listen to that calling, man, it is. It is like the most fulfilling, rewarding experience that I think that any of us can have during this life. In fact, I remember in Fiji, sitting next to Tony, and we were talking about. He just gone through some crazy. He got sick and stuff. He was kind of on the backside of that. He said, you know, he's like, even if everything end, he's like, I've had such a blessed life. The amount of people I've had a chance to interact with and to. To serve and to see their lives change. He's like, it's like. Like, doesn't matter. Everything, like, is perfect because of that experience that I've had. And so that's the biggest thing is, like, it. It transforms you from having a really good life to the opportunity to have a great life and.
And impact others, right? I mean, at the end of our lives, if you could choose between impact or success, everybody chooses impact. How cool is it when you can do both, right? Yeah. And the other thing, too. And I want everybody to hear this. Russell's in a place where he might be on the other side of an evolution. When you first start, it's hard sometimes when you go, yes, I want to impact others, but I just want to do my own thing. I want to Be in control of my calendar. I want to give more to my children. I want to be here for my husband. I want to retire my wife or retire my husband. Sometimes you can't see the forest through the trees. Realize that once you get over that hurdle, then your drive is the impact of others. I mean, how great is it that you. We get to both of us, Russell. We chose an industry that the more our business grows, that just correlates the more lives we're impacting. Right? And that. That's something I wish and could. I wish I could future pace everybody to spend a day in a life of understanding that you get up every day and you still work hard and you still worry about stuff and things still don't go perfect, but you get to be in control of your life. You get to impact others and get to grow all at the same time. And that's really rare.
You know, I think sometimes people feel like, guilty, like, oh, I feel guilty that I'm trying to make money or I'm trying to start a business or whatever. But our. Our friend Pedro said it best. He's like, God tricked me into starting this business. And sometimes he makes us, like, he gives us desires, like, to. To get again freedom or whatever. But what's interesting that you will find this, and it's the coolest thing about the whole thing, is like, I just start pursuing these desires that. And again, you didn't put these desires in your head, like, they were put there by somebody greater than us. You get these desires, they're like, go make money. Go start a business. You start running towards this thing and there's going to be guilt. Like, oh, like, should I be doing this? Should I not be? But the, the. I always tell people it's the wake of contribution. Like, as you're moving forward through the water, creates this huge wake behind you, right? And as you're moving forward towards your goals, the wake that it creates behind you of contribution, people's lives. You're changing, you're touching and you're affecting that eventually on the journey. And you know this, we talked about this privately before. Like, one day you wake up, you're like, you have the money, you have the things you thought you were going after. Like, they're so. Like, they don't feel that. Like, it's like, it doesn't feel like you thought it was going to feel. But then you look backwards, you see this wake that was created as you were pursuing your dreams and your passions also. You're like, whoa. That was why I Did it? Like, the people we change on this journey is the. Like, that's the juice.
That's the real juice.
Yeah, yeah. And so I want people to sound like it's not. I don't think. I believe it's like the desires are placed there not by yourself, by somebody else. And they're good. And like, the pursuit of them is what creates the contribution that change other people's lives. And so, like, don't feel guilty about it. Like, lean into that. That's. I believe you're calling from God to start pursuing those things, because in the pursuit of this excellence you're going after in your own life is how you're going to change the lives of the people around you.
Yeah. And the cool part about it is when you start to see the momentum, it's almost impossible to stop. And the reason that I like talking about this is because most people are stopped before they really get started, right? That they call it imposter syndrome. In today's world, it's always just fear. You're afraid. What if it doesn't work out? What if I look silly? What if this isn't my thing? What if I'm too old? What if I'm too young? What if I don't understand a million different reasons and we just got to find whatever it takes to pull us forward, Right? Because you never know. I told you I've been geeking out on OG Mendino books, right? And he's like, the prize isn't at the beginning of the journey, it's at the end. And you gotta shake people and remind them, like, you might have to go around five corners, you might have to go around 50. And in the book, he said something. I thought it was so cool. He's like, it's not my privilege to know how many corners I have to go around until success finds me. I just have to keep moving forward because around one of those turns is my next level. Right. I want to share something with you. You know, as you. As you start a company and as you get momentum and as you start to grow it into a real company and you have one employee, 10 employees, 100 employees, whatever you want to grow it to, there's a phase that goes from being the entrepreneur and the innovator and the creator, where you also have to become a leader. You have a responsibility to become a leader because you have people that are putting their faith in you and your company. Right?
And.
And a leader isn't the person who barks the orders or is in control. A Leader is someone people look up to, look for guidance, look for mentorship. Right. I have a couple people on my team, Russell, that are really evolving to leadership, and they're going really fast. And I had a conversation with one of them just two days ago, and I said, I want to tell you the greatest byproduct to be a leader is different than being a manager. Right? You can manage project, but to be a leader, you have to take responsibility for this great and other people. And I said, but I want to promise you the things you learn with being a leader, going all in, not dabbling. I promise you it'll make you a better husband, it'll make you a better father, it'll make you a better friend. It'll roll into the other areas of your life. And he said, I never looked at it that way. And I'd love to ask you, you are a leader. You're an incredible leader. You care about your team more than most people might even know about you. What has being a leader in business, taking that bold action to be a leader in business, and how has that affected your family? Being a husband and being a dad?
Yeah, it's interesting because we just recently got back from our big event, and it was fun because in the past, my wife and I would go, but this is, like, one of the first years. I'm starting to bring my kids these events, and they're coming in there, like, seeing and experiencing a little bit, and they're like, oh, my gosh. And, you know, they're starting to, like, just understand that, like, the reason why we're able to live the way we do and because these things is because of these people. Right? And so they have a chance to meet my team. Like, here's. You know, I showed him behind the scenes. Like, here's the hundred people that are here that make this event happen. Like, it's not me. It's like, these people, and they care about the people we're serving. They care about the mission as well. And then they had a chance to, like, literally, they stood on stage. We had 5,000 people running through the doors and seeing everything. And my kids were just like, this is crazy, dad. Like, you know, for. For them, like, you're just dad. Like, this is weird. All of a sudden, like, dad, why these people so excited? I'm like, because we have this chance to serve them and to help them and. And it's been fun because, like, it's. It's interesting with kids specifically, is like, they don't. I don't feel like they hear what you say as a parent, right? But they watch what you do. Like they're watching very, very close and everything you're doing. And so by, by being willing to step up and like be a leader hopefully in my team and then my community and like in the things that we're doing, like those are the things that your kids notice and they start leaning into and like I want to do these things. In fact it was fun because after the event, my, one of my sons, we talked about the certified partner program. He become certified building funnels. And he was like, I want to do that dad. He's like, he's like I don't know if I can win a 2 comma club or these other big awards. Like I know I can do that because I just got to learn it and do it. Like I'm capable of doing that, you know. He's a 16 year old kid and so he, today I'm giving him access to the certified partner program. He's going through the trainings because he's like that's something that I can control. He's like, it's, he's like is it harder than school that I'm like no, it's way easier than school. Like this is like we're not learning trigonometry or geo, you know, like whatever all the, the sciences and stuff that they're doing. Like this is something that's cool and useful and tangible. And so I feel like again there's, for all entrepreneurs I think there's always this guilt like pulling you back like ah, should do these things. It's like no, like when your kids see you pursuing something, when your kids see you leading your kids see you do these things, like that's, I think at least my belief is like the most valuable thing that they can, they can experience is like having a chance to see that because that's who they're trying to become. Well, they're, you're hoping they're, you're going to pass off to those kids to be able to do as well. You know what I mean? And so I don't know, leadership's important for again for the people you're leading, but then for the people who are watching from behind and hopefully even you know, externally, people who maybe they're not your kids but they're other people you're inspiring by that are seeing this thing happen. And like, okay, now because I'm seeing this happen, like I'm going to get off my chair and I'm going to go do something as well.
Yeah. And I think your threshold. Now, I want everybody to hear this. The byproduct of going after it in business is probably different than you even think in some areas, too, because I thought through that after I talked to him, I got off the phone, I was really thinking is your ability to handle bigger problems. Right. If you want bigger success, you have to not say, I don't want any more problems. You have to train yourself to handle bigger problems. Right. Jim Rohn always said, if you want life to be better, you have to become better. And I always think, if I want to have more success, problems aren't going to go away, they're going to get bigger. I have to learn to handle bigger problems. Like, instead of saying, you know, I remember being in Little League, and I wasn't the best. My son is way better than me. But in Little League, I remember training my brain, because when I first started, I was really small and like, I hope the ball doesn't get hit to me. I hope the ball. And then I found a way. I got a new mantra, like, 12 years old. I was like, I hope it comes to me. Come on, give me that ball. And everything changed. I ended up falling in love with baseball. I played through high school because I fell in love with the game, because I just changed the same words. Like, it was the same words. Instead of, please don't hit me the ball, I wrote, I got rid of don't, and just please hit me the ball. And I feel that's the same way. What business does is real. It slowly walks you in the deep end of handling bigger problems. And I find that that helps me in my life, with my wife, with my family, with being a dad. It's like things that some families fall apart or the shift or going into teenage years or this has happened, or, like, because I've handled so much in business, I take a deep breath, I'm like, we got this. We're going to focus on a solution. We're going to get this done. Do you. Do you find that in your family that all the stuff, the crap you had to deal with, now it's like family. It's like, oh, we got this for sure.
One of my friends said that Steve Larson said that business is like, the greatest personal development course you can ever go through, because you have to learn so much about yourself. Like, especially nowadays. We're like, how do I show up? How do I. I got to be on camera, and I got to go create something. I got to make it, and I Got like, there's so many pieces that go involved and you learn so many skill sets. Like, you be like, for you to go through the process to build and launch a business. And, you know, you got, you know, a billion people who've gone through the Mastermind training and like, have great courses and like, put it out. Like, for them to do that, it's like to, to go through the process of like saying, first off, like, I'm good enough to create something, to give other people, like, I'm worthy, I'm ready, like, I can do that despite the fact they probably don't feel that way initially. Right. And then to go and do all this stuff, you have to learn the technical, like, how do you record it, how do you edit it, how do you. Like, there's so many little things they have to learn, but how it's done and they put it on this platform also. It's like, I created something. This is like, I went through all the steps. Now I can be successful, right? I had similar thing when I launched, you know, we talked about potato. My very first potato gun or my first product was how to teach a potato or how to make a potato gun. And that was never like a billion dollar runaway hit. But, like, I had to go through the process. I learned all the things I had to do to be successful. I gotta come up with the idea, then buy a domain and then had to like, create a product and edit it. Like, by the time it was done, it was like, I've done it once. Now it's like, oh, now I've done it once. I could do it a thousand times. It's easy, right? And again, like you said, the skill set you have from this process, from this journey, like, they bleed over into all parts of life. With your marriage, with your spouse, with your kids. Like, because you start realizing it's not just like, you know, hoping for the best.
There's multi levels and you got. There's multi levels and you get used to dealing with all of them. All right, I had two more quick questions and then we're going to get into funnels. So But I think this is so important, Russell, because so many people see you and the success you had with click funnels and they're like, yeah, but maybe Russell didn't have to deal with feeling like an imposter. Maybe Russell had money. Maybe Russell understood marketing. I mean, look how good he is. Did it come to him intuitively? Oh, my God, Russell, you're so good on stage. You were just naturally good on stage. You and I have had those conversations. You're like, you ran off and let.
Me show you the old videos.
Yeah, exactly. I've seen them. I got two more quick questions. One is, so many people in today's world, like, we call it imposter syndrome or fear. Fear. And they think, yeah, but I got this thing that's just holding me back. Did Russell Brunson have any inner voice that almost held you back? Like, you're not this. You're too young, you're too old, you don't have the money. You're not good on camera. Was there a repetitive story that sometimes slowed you down and then you had to crush it, put it in a box, throw it away, or tuck it down?
Yeah. And I would say two things. First off, like, I think a lot of people are like, when is. When did you stop having that?
Like, when did you know?
And I was like, yeah, I always come back to the event. Like, I'm backstage behind the event, freaking out. Like, why are these people here? Like, I'm like a little kid. I look like I'm 11 years old. Like, what am I going to say to help 5,000 people in the room? Like that. It was so scary. And I'm freaking out. And then it's like, all right, well, I've prepared. I've done my best. Like, I have to move forward in faith. And so I just step out there, and then it just, you know, it shows up and it comes so big things. Just understand, like, it's probably not going to go away. You're going to feel those things. I think that's important because, you know, the people who don't feel that sometimes are the ones. And you. You know, the ones in our industry who, like, they're. They get really cocky, and then they start stop caring about other people because they don't feel those things. I feel like it's. It's there to help us be humble so that we can serve at a different level. Right. But at the beginning, it was even more so for sure, because, yeah, like, I. I'd never spoken in front of people. I didn't. You know, I'm very introverted. I'm shy. Like, I talk too fast. Sometimes I get so excited, all my words getting mushed together, and people are like, I don't. I don't understand a word you just said. And I. You know, it happens all the time. And. But for me, it was just like, I felt. I was so excited about the thing that I wanted to teach people. I remember I did an Event in Boise because I wanted to. I went to a seminar. I saw people on stage. I'm like, I want to do that. But nobody invited me to their stage. I was like, well, if no one's gonna invite me to stage, I'm gonna build my own stage. And so I literally hear in Boise, rented a Holiday Inn. We had a little tiny room, and I ran radio ads, and we had, like, 100 people from the radio ads who registered to come to this event. So I'm like, okay, it's gonna be awesome. You know, I got ready. I put my suit and tie on, so I thought some business people had to do, you know, And. And I show up to my. My first event, and I'm in this Holiday Inn, and I walk in, and there's two people and the one sitting in the front row, one sitting the back row, and that was it. Nobody else showed up. And I was like, I want to die. I want to run. I want to hide. But I was like, you know what? Like, I'm here. And, like, I love. Again, this is the dorkiest thing, because nowadays, like, funnels are cool, but they weren't cool 20 years ago. But I sat there for, like, an hour and a half, pouring into these two people talking about funnels and how they work and everything. And I think that they were so confused because I didn't. I'd never taught it before. I didn't know how to teach it, but I was just so excited. And then I left. And afterwards, my team of, like, two people at the time were like, that was a train wreck. I'm like, I know we should plan another one, and maybe next time, more people will come.
And they're like, what?
I'm like, I don't like this. At this point, this is not about. About anything other than, like, I want to share this. I want to get it out of me. Like, it's. It's changed my life. I need to share it. I kept doing it and kept doing it, and, you know, now I look, you know, whatever. 17, 18 years later, the last event, we had 5,000 people in the room, right? And so for all you guys, it's that same thing. Like, it's going to be awkward, but, like, if you love the thing you do, like, if this changed you and, you know it can change other people, like, that's the fuel. Like, you got to do it no matter what, because, like, you want to get that out there. And if you do that consistently over time, that's like, the people will show up. But you gotta. I think that, that the, you know, God or universe or whatever wants to see, like, how much does he actually care about this.
I agree. You got to pay your success tax, right? You gotta. You gotta pay the tax. Yeah. All right, One last. One last question, then. I gotta. I want to get into funnels and, and how to start and ramp up this business. I thought about this this morning. In your journey of 20 years, 30 years being an entrepreneur, I'm sure you've had a couple failures, right? More than a couple. People never realize all the failures. And I'm sure you've had sleepless nights and I'm sure you've had stress before, and I'm sure you worried about your company, worried about your business, worried about is this going to really work? And all those. And like you said, the worry never goes away. Just get better at handling it. But with that up and down roller coaster, you've done amazing and look what you've built. So I guess here's a question. If somebody waved a magic wand. Nothing. You did, but it was all gone tomorrow. And someone said, you have two options. Russell, I can guarantee you $10,000 a week for the rest of your life. You lost everything. Here's ten grand a week. You got this consistent thing, and we just need you to put 20 hours a week in. You got 10 grand a week and you don't have to go through all of that again or you got nothing, you get no money, and you got a start over building a business again. Would you do it all over again?
Yeah. Because otherwise, like, what's the point of it, right? I didn't sign up for this for the money. I'm not in it right now for the money. I'm in it for the creation of, like, dreams or ideas or like, just the. The things. And so I think a lot of people, 10,000 weeks, like, that'd be amazing. Like, I'd be set for life. But I feel like you'd miss. You'd miss the best part of life, right?
I knew you were gonna. I didn't set you up, but I, I know that because I could ask my same question. It's a question I can ask all of you. $10,000 a week for the rest of your life sounds amazing. But then who do you become? You know, before we get into funnels and I want to talk about some of the amazing things you're doing. Dude, I'm so proud of you, what you have going on. People need what you're doing right now so much. So don't miss another. Don't miss a second of this. But Tony said something to me when I was 47 years old. Tony Robbins, who's our. Both our friend, but my partner and dear friend. And, you know, I was down at his house and. And I was 47, and I was going through a big shift in my life. I didn't plan on going through a divorce, but I did, and I was, you know. You know, you go through that, it's a big shakeup in your life, right? And I remember sitting with him and I said, you know, I'm figuring out what's next. And he's like, when are you going to be 48? And I told him, and maybe. And he said, I got a question for you, Dean. Who do you want to become in your 50s? That was a couple of years away from my 50s. Maybe it was. Maybe I was 46. He said, who do you want to become in your 50s? And I'm like, what? Like, I'm telling you, I'm going through a divorce. I got this. He goes, no, no, I know you're going to accomplish things. I know you're going to work hard and you'll be a good dad, but who do you want to become? And maybe I heard that a million times, Russell, but I heard it that day, like, oh, like, who do I want to become as a man? Do I want to be someone that settles. If we're not growing, we don't feel like our best selves? Would I want my kids seeing me sit around and not tapping into my full potential? Would I want my kids not seeing me take risks? Not seeing me pushing myself? Would I really want my kids not seeing me fail to show that failure is a part of it? Would I want them not to see me be living into my full potential and go, I'm scared to death, but I'm doing it anyway? It's like you said it earlier. Kids don't become what you say. They become who you are. And I remember when he said that, and I went home and I started writing down the man I wanted to become. The father, the friend, the business leader. If I ever got in another relationship, what would that look like? And who would she be? And all these things I wrote down. And that's what I think about with that. Russell, so many of us have the thoughts like, if you're watching right now or listening right now, you're thinking to yourself, God, I want to do what Russell did. I want to do what Dean did. But. But what? We all have to start on Our first step. And we all have to start where we are and. And we're all scared to death and we all have limiting beliefs and we all have imposter syndrome. And you do it anyway and you do whatever it takes to take that next step because when you do, you never know where it's going to end up. I would bet to say, Russell, there's got to be days. And I know you're not the type to pat yourself on the back, but I'll tell you, from an outsider, I'm proud of you. Like to watch what you've done and what you've accomplished. Scared didn't start with money. And look at the impact you're making on the world. I think it's just an amazing thing. And I think if today's interview can spark even one person to take an action, to move forward, even if it's uncomfortable, you never know where you can land.
Yeah. Well, thank you. First off, you know, emotional Dean, come on now. But, yeah, it's so true. Like, I wish everyone could feel what it feels like on the other side because that's the hardest thing. Right. When I got into wrestling, I remember going to the state tournament, seeing the guys win, stinging their hand raised, and I was like, I want that feeling. And so I pursued it. And so again, if they can, you know, here's talking about this and at least point identify. That's the feeling I want. Then it gives you something to pursue and toward and start moving towards. But when you set that as a goal like this journey is. Yeah. Like you said, it's not easy ups and downs, but it is, man. It's worth it. It's the difference between a good life and a great life.
Yeah.
And you know, in the book good to Great says the reason why there's not more great marriages, because a lot of good marriages. There's a lot of great businesses. Because a lot of good businesses. And this is good as the enemy to great. And I think that if people understood that, it's like, yeah, like, let's. Let's make something great. We can only hear for a certain amount of time, like, let's make something great while we're here and have fun along the way.
Well, amazing. Well, thank you for letting me share and ask those personal questions because I think they're just as important as what we're going to share. Now. I'd like to spend a little time talking about the secret weapon of a funnel. I know so many of you are watching. You understand it, you get it. Especially if you're my students. I explain it to you. And part of my family, my mastermind family, my project, next family, just the time to thrive family, you understand it, but this is the man who's helped put it on the map and truly understand it. And he's coming up. And in a moment I want you to write this down. I'll give you more details in a minute. Russell's doing something absolutely insane, absolutely crazy. You know, when we do challenges, you know, we go all in and I can't speak for every challenge that's out there, but I know this man and he is obsessing behind the scenes. I mean, been planning for six months to do something for free to deliver massive value. So just write this down, I'll give you more details. It's first funnel challenge 10. You got to use that link because it's mine. And that's the one because we're going to do some fun stuff for you as well. So first funnel challenge ten.com write that down. Should be below, should be in the notes of the show here. But I want you to write that down. It's absolutely crazy that you're doing something so cool doing it for free. I want to ask you why for free and all that stuff in a moment, but let's get to funnels. I just wanted to put that in case someone for some crazy reason stopped listening. Do not miss going to that and registering. But I want to ask you, you know, not only what is a funnel, it's going to be a three part question. What is a funnel? What did a funnel mean to you the day you named click funnels and what does that mean to you today?
Yeah, it's been. And first off to kind of before we jump in, like you're one of the first people when we launched clickfunnels and like, like you were one of the first people, especially the bigger people who got it right. And you're like, this is it. And you jumped in and you've been such a, like an advocate for us and for our platform and you've been using it for your business and with Tony's and like it's just like so grateful for like, you know, just the fact that you're use our platform. Like it makes me so happy every single day. Every time we see I get sales stats every day from all the funnels, who's making the most money. I just see like when Dean's doing something cool, like you see the stats pop and it's just. Anyway, so first off, thank you.
Well, you built something amazing, brother. And it deserved. The world deserves to know more about it.
Oh, so cool. So for us, ClickFunnels started eight years ago. But prior to that I talked about like me doing these little hotel room meetings. I was talking about funnels for a long time because is a different way to sell, right? It's the way you sell personally. Most of us know if you walk up to somebody on the street like before you just like gave them a price. You would ask them a question, they would find out what they're interested in. You would like you take them through a logical selling sequence before you offer them in product or the service. Now the Internet, when it came around, it wasn't that way. People were like, here's a picture of a product.
Boom.
There's a price tag, right? Like you go to Amazon, it's like there's a product like three bullet points and a price tag. And if someone's going shopping looking for something specific, that works. But for most of us, when we're selling something, we have to go out there and like find a prospect and get them interested in like throw out a hook to get their attention, then tell them why they need to sing and how it's going to change their life. And you take them through a process and maybe you have an upsell similar to like McDonald's always have. You know, you go through the drive through and like, do you want fries and coke with that? They have upsells and downsells and there's just a sales process. And so I used to these events where I'd bring people in and I have a big whiteboard and I map out like, here's the sales process. Like you have to make it very simple because a confused mind always says no. So the first page you just ask for one thing and usually it's their email address. Then page number two, you haven't watched a video, maybe you sell one thing and page number three, here's the next thing. And so we took people through this funnel and we call it the funnel because you know, you might have a thousand people that come to the landing page and then from that 500 people give you the email address. And then from there a hundred people buy the first product and then from there 10 people buy the second. And if you look, you know, you look at the numbers, look like a big funnel coming down. And that's kind of where the, the concept of funnels came from. And when we first launched click funnels eight years ago, it became almost like we joked internally it's like it became a business, like, oh, I want a funnel. I want a funnel. And a lot of people didn't know what it was, but they knew. They heard people talking about, like, I just want a funnel. And I remember you told me the first time you said that, you were at a hairdresser or somewhere, and they were talking about, like, this thing called click funnels, and we need a funnel. And I don't think people really knew what it was. And so it kind of got morphed into this thing where, like, a funnel is, like, this way to make money, which it kind of is. But, like, over the last eight years, especially now, we're. And we'll talk about this a little bit, but one of the reasons why we're doing this big challenge is because we've spent the last two years rebuilding clickfunnels from the ground up as this new platform. And it's gonna be launched live during the challenge, which is gonna be so cool. But I really look at a funnel differently now. I don't look at so much as a noun as, like, this is this thing that makes money. Like, you can touch it, and it's like a noun. A funnel is more of a. Like, it's a verb, right? You're funneling people like, you look at right now on the Mastermind platform. You guys have, you know, thousands and thousands of people have courses, and they're selling it the way they are. But a funnel, the goal of a funnel is to. It's. It's a verb. It's looking at. Here's all the people on Facebook or Instagram or Google or YouTube or whatever the platforms are.
Funnel them to your offer.
Yeah, we're taking them and funneling down to your course, taking the funneling down to the offer to the products and services you're selling. And there's different funnels that do that, right? Like, Dean, I know for you, you guys sell, you know, project Next, kbb, different versions of it, and, like, that was the big thing you guys sell. But you have books that. That funnel people from Facebook and bring them into your world. They get on your email list, and from there, you can. You can. You can push people into other, you know, backend products and services. But the funnel is. The key is to take people from these. From these sites that we are all aware of and funnel them into. Into our world. And so the way. My guess is that most of you guys, even if you don't know what a funnel is yet, you've experienced them more than once.
And we teach it. If they're a part of our family, they teach the process, right? Some of it. Sometimes we. The accumulation effect, right. Sometimes someone. Russell and I, and I know I get back to you, but sometimes people will have this amazing, valuable delivery and I want to share because I know so many of the people that are part of my family are brand new or just starting in this world and maybe they just got their course up or just got their first sale or just got their fifth sale. And the last thing I want you to do is get overwhelmed by this. But this is your future. You look at, I use Russell. We have Mastermind. My course is on Mastermind. But we still use Russell for our funnels because he just built something, him and his partner Todd, something so magical, especially for that next level, right? They thought through that next level. But sometimes what I share, Russell, is somebody will have this great outcome, this great thing they can do. They help families going through a divorce to get back and find love again, or they help someone to get off alcohol or all the things that the 5,000 different niches that we've identified and that thing is super valuable. But if they don't set up all the pieces prior, people never get to say yes. Sometimes they never even end up at the offer. And if the offer itself isn't good and they say no, people go, see, no one wants to learn from me how to sell better. No one wants to learn from me how to do yoga or meditate. It's like, no, you just didn't have the funnel property property properly. And what I always say is it's accumulation effect. Like I'll use an example, example said if your subject line stinks, they never get to your offer. If the body of your email stinks, they never open it up. And if your headline stinks and, and all those pieces. And what Russell has done so well, everybody is, he has created a process where you can plug in to the expertise that he spent the last, you know, ClickFunnels might be 8 years old, but he's obsessed on this for 20, right? And it's the process of saying, oh, this is what they do first. And how do I funnel them to my offer? How do once they say yes to my offer, what's the next best thing? And the next best thing? And that's what you've done so well. So anyway, I didn't mean to digress on that, but I just want people to realize you've already learned what a funnel is in so many cases. Russell's just created the platform and the education behind it to maximize it.
Yeah. And if you guys. If you are on Facebook or YouTube or Instagram or any of the platforms and you see an ad and you click on the ad, 90% of the time, they're landing on a clickfunnels page. Like, that's what happens. And then you're going through that process. And so my guess is you've been through funnels. When you joined your last challenge, you had almost a million people register for that challenge. Like, that was a funnel. You guys had a chance to go through a challenge funneling with you, and Dean took you through a process and explained everything. And then that's what funnels are. And they're a way to take, you know, the. The billions of people on the Internet and bring them down and figure out who's perfect for you. You take a billion people on the Internet, you find on, you know, whatever, a hundred thousand on Facebook that actually are in your market, and then from there, you get the 30,000 that click and then the 10,000 that register and then the thousand that buy. And, like, that's how this whole world works. Like, the world is a bunch of funnels. And we are start understanding that. It's like, okay, this is. This is how all these pieces kind of fit together. And so. But that's. That's what funnels are.
And here's where the challenge. Everybody, I mean, interrupt you, but it's important. I always tell everybody, especially part of our family, our mastermind, our project, next family, or those of you just went to time to thrive. Here's the funny thing. We are in the same business. Russell's in the same business as you. We are. He's. Hopefully, you go join this challenge, it's gonna. I'll be there, and we'll talk more about it in a little bit. But when you go through it, don't just join it to learn. Absolutely. Come to learn. But we're in the same business. Watch Russell's funnel. He's gonna send. You're gonna go to a page. When you go to firstfunnelchallenge10.com that's the first part of his funnel. And there's gonna be something that gets you to go, hell, yes, I need to be a part of this. And then there's going to be a next part of the funnel. Then you're going to show up. And if you look, if you just replace, you know, client journey with funnel, but a more articulate client journey, one that invokes people to go to the Next level and take the next step. Right? You want to deliver so much. We always say this in the way I teach it, Russell is you want to deliver so much on whatever page you are on that people go, huh, that's cool. What's next? What's next? Right? You just want them to go, oh, that's me. What's next? Or what's the best about marketing is you look at it and go, that's absolutely not me. That's cool. That means you shouldn't be a part of the funnel. But I just want to share with you when you go make this a research project. Russell and I won't say this about many people. Russell is one of the few people on this planet that I put right in line. Like we market similar, we care about people in a similar way. We want to serve at the highest level. And Russell is amazing at what he does. So check out his email, emails, Rob, his subject lines, See his headlines like Rob's not a good learn. You said funnel hack. Funnel hack, That's a better word, right?
Yeah. In my community that's the term we call it funnel hacking. I always tell people like, like yes, I want you to buy my products and services. But like funnel hack means like go watch the process. Like again, I've been doing this for 20 years now. Like I geeked out like before we built this challenge funnel, I, I funnel hacked. I looked at probably 200 different funnels and challenges to like look at what they're doing and how they're doing it. And so like I always tell people like, you buy something from me, buy it slowly so you can see the process. Same with Dean, like you buy something from de, watch the process because that is like the most perfectly most well thought through funnels like in the history of the, the, the planet. Like, like you can learn just as much from like watching the process a lot of times as like, as being in it. So make sure you guys are paying attention because you have a chance to see it in action. And then for you, when you have a course, like maybe you should do a challenge funnel. Maybe you're going to do a webinar to the course maybe you're going to do. But these are all different funnels that will grab people from these different platforms and bring them into your world to go and buy your course. And, and that's the power. And what's so exciting about funnels, as you know, this is like after you, you get a funnel dialed in and our goal is always like, I want to make a Funnel where if I put a dollar in advertising In, I get $2 back out. That's the goal. And as soon as you do that, it's.
You're like, changes forever. First of all, yeah, you put a.
Thousand dollars in that, you get 2,000 back. You're like, I'm gonna put 10,000. You get 20,000 back, I'm gonna put a hundred thousand. I'll put a million. And, like, and it's crazy. And that's how you hear people talk about in the business world. How do you scale an offer? And it's like, this is the key. You get a funnel that works really, really good, and you put in a dollar advertising, $2 back out. Now it's just like, now it's just dumping money in the front, and the process works, and it works while you're sleeping, works 24 hours a day, seven days a week. And those are things we'll be talking about during this challenge. People understand, like, what is this specific funnel you guys need? Right? And there's different funnel types, so it depends. Like, if you're selling a course, it's one thing. If you're a consultant, if you've got a local business, if you're like, there's different funnels, we're going to. What are those funnels? Like, what's the first one you should be focusing on right now to get people into your world, and. And that's kind of where the challenge is going to pick up. And let's.
Let's just jump right into it. So tell me what I know a little bit, because I get to peek behind the curtain, but tell everybody about this challenge you're doing, dates, why you're doing it, why you're doing it for free. This thing is going to be insane. I mean, you took. You took a challenge to a whole nother level of what you got planned. So tell us a little bit about it.
It's gonna be so fun. So depending on when people are listening to this or watching it, the challenge goes live October 4th, and then the training starts October 10th. So that's when the doors will open up. A week of people coming in, registering. It's gonna be so fun. We're gonna have an amazing Facebook group with hopefully a hundred thousand people who are all in the same world with you guys, like your peers and your colleagues. And then the title of the challenge, as you said, is your first funnel challenge. Like, what is the first funnel? Because there's, as you know, and, you know, people have been around, there's dozens of different funnels you could create. But if you're going to start from scratch, like, what's the first funnel? And I don't want to ruin the surprise. We'll talk about that as you guys get in there. But what's the first funnel? And then we're literally going to be building it, so it's not going to be just, like, theoretical. Like, oh, let me think about this. Like, we're going to give you guys all free accounts to click funnels as you come in. You can go in there for 30 days, you have a free cat, you can go start playing with it and start building a funnel. We're going to be building it with you so that by the time the challenge is done, it's not just like, oh, I conceptually understand this. You're going to be able to show your spouse, your mom, the kid in school that teased you like. Like, you're. Whatever it is.
Like.
Like, here's the funnel. It's live. My face is on. This is the real thing. It's generating leads. It's gathering money. Like, it's all going to be happening for you guys. And so this is something not. We're just, you know, theoretical thing. Like, we're getting our hands dirty. Because I want you guys, by the time it's done, to have a tangible thing saying, oh, my gosh, like, I created this thing, and it's live. And if you got a course on Mastermind, it's even better. Like, you can now use this funnel to grab people, bring them in, and then push them over to Mastermind to start buying your course over there. Like, there's so many cool things, but that's the goal, is to get you guys into the game. I always say that, like, the reason why most entrepreneurs don't succeed is not because they. They don't have the tactics or the techniques or the tools. It's because they're sitting on the sideline watching the game happen. They're watching me play, they're watching Dean play, they're watching other people play, and they're like, oh, that's so cool. Ooh, that's so cool. And, like, my whole goal with this challenge is not, like, if I. It's one thing is walk you over, walk over the sideline, put a helmet on you. You know, whatever it is, put on your pads and, like, bring you out and put you out, Say, you're in the game. Let's go. And we start playing. Because as soon as you start playing, you're like, oh, this is fun. Oh, I can actually do this. Like, you'll find out when you start using clickfunnels. Like, you can drag and drop. I don't need a tech person. I don't need to like anything. I can physically do this. And I know I. If you've heard me, you've heard me talk about it forever. But, like, we're gonna grab you on the field, put the pads on, I'm gonna have you click the thing you're dragging, and all of a sudden you're like, I'm a funnel builder. I can do this. Like, this is insane. And you see how fun it is, and you're like, me, it's addicting, right? I run a huge company right now, and people like, so what do you do on your free time, Russell? I was like, well, if I tell you, you're gonna make fun of me. No, really, what do you do? I'm like, I literally build funnels. I go home. I have about a dozen side companies I'm creating just because, like, when I get home, I just want to build funnels, and I want to give you guys that same excitement, because now you're in the creation mode, where it's like, any idea you have, you're like, I could build a funnel. I could put it out there, I could test it, and maybe it doesn't work. And, you know, we have a mantra in our community that you're one funnel away. And I'm always like, it's not always the. It's not usually the first funnel or the second, but you try one, you try another one, because it's so simple to do. You try five, six, or seven, and then all of a sudden, one of them is going to be the one that, like, hits for you. And that's the best one, because that's the one where you're like, this is. This is real. Like, people on the Internet from around the world gave me money for a thing that I made up, and, like, it's like, the greatest feeling, you know.
Russell, I love your enthusiasm, and I feel the same way. You know, when I teach, it's the greatest gift in the world. I can't especially. And I know, you know, this is when you have something, you have a breakthrough, and you can't wait to deliver it to everybody. And I've been watching you. I see how excited you are. But I know behind the scenes, guys, Russell has been waiting to share what he's come up with with his next evolution, the clickfunnels with the world. And I think. And that's why he's doing a free challenge to invite all of you to have the opportunity to jump in, join for free, see what's possible. And please know Russell's my friend and I would do this no matter what because not because he's my friend, only what I want to say. Not just because he's my friend, it's because he's got a quality product and simultaneously it aligns with what we do. This isn't a Mastermind or click funnels. The two together. Our course is on Mastermind. If you bought Project Next or you're part of any of our courses, they're in Mastermind. But we still use click funnels to funnel people to it. Right? And so many things we do when we did the back, the back of our, the back of our big Time to thrive challenge, we use click funnels to help funnel you into our world. And Russell just made it easy. Like he said, point and click. And you see his enthusiasm and I know this challenge is going to be off the charts amazing. I get to be a little part of it as well. And I'm excited to do that with you. Tell us, tell us one of the dates again.
Yeah. So the dates we, we go live. October 10th. It's the first day of challenge and we have a five day challenge happening. And then that Saturday we're doing a big celebration. You're gonna be coming speaking out. We have a bunch of really cool and it's going to be just a fun time for celebrating and for all of you guys to have a chance to learn from some of the greatest marketing and personal development minds in the world. It's kind of a huge gift at the end. Normally, you know, we just finished our big event. People pay $1,000 ticket to come to an event. We want to have this event at the end. It's just going to be amazing to kind of celebrate all of you guys and having your first funnel done and launched and live and so yeah, that's the game plan. It's going to be that whole week. It's going to be so much fun. I'm so grateful that you're, you're going to be part of it. You're going to be sharing as well. We've got some really cool guest speakers. Most of our guest speakers, they're not speakers you guys would, would see who are like, oh, these big famous people. Most of them are people who were ClickFunnels members in our community who got a ClickFunnels account a while ago. They built something amazing and I'm having them come to, like, tell their story so you can see that, like, it's working for so many people in so many different industries and like, people who, who didn't, you know, felt the same way, like, felt awkward or shy or like, you know, imposter syndrome. And all of a sudden, like, they got the tools, they got the information, they built their first funnel and like, now it's changed their life and their customers lives and their family's lives and. And that's the gift we want to give to you guys as well, so you have a chance to hear their stories. But we're gonna give. Here's the things to do. You have the software to actually do the thing, and it's going to be. It's going to be amazing. So I'm grateful.
So am I, Russell. And here's what I'll tell you. Write this down again. First Funnel Challenge10.com First FunnelChallenge10.com Go register right now. And you know, I always say this. Here's one thing I have to say. I always say during my challenges, pretend you paid a thousand bucks. Pretend you paid 5,000 bucks for this. Because if you pay, if you convince yourself you pay, you'll show up and pay attention and do the work, right? You know, I've been. I've been quoting Ogmundino a lot. I do that when I geek out on an author, right? But there's only one word in the English language that guarantees success, and it's scroll number three. It's I will persist until I succeed. Persist is the only word in the English language that guarantees your success if you don't give up. The only way it doesn't work is if you don't do the work, if you give up before you get to the end zone, or if you want to use whatever metaphor you want. And the second thing you always know. How many times have you heard me do a podcast, an interview, or sent an email where you should go check out someone else? Hardly ever. When there's an amazing book I like, maybe twice a year, we never do this because. And there's a lot of great people out there. But I know Russell. I know the work he put behind it, and I know this isn't a mastermind or click funnels. The two of these together are so freaking powerful that that's why I'm telling you right now, don't wait till later to register. Go to first funnelchallenge10.com right now. Register, then put it on your calendar. Because just registering isn't enough. And then the second part about that, I said, pretend you paid money. Go get a friend. Take that same URL first funnelchallenge10.com and text it to friends, say, go join this challenge. They're doing it for free. I don't know why you doing it for free, but it's amazing. Go have fun with it. And lastly, using Russell's term, funnel hack. Russell, look at the page you land on. See what you like about it. What intrigues you. How could you utilize that for your niche, for your dot? Right? When he goes to the next page and the confirmation page, and then when you show up, go, oh, I love the way he said it. Oh, my God, that email got me. That's. I do that on a regular basis and it excites me. And sometimes I'll even call Russell and go, go, oh, my God, that was amazing. I'm robbing it. And sometimes he does the same exact thing for me. That's how the tide lifts all boats. So first funnel challenge, ten dot com. Last question I have for you. Last question I have for you. Is it important? I love this term. I've been using this a lot lately. I'll end with this. So many times in life, our confidence gets dinged. We went through two years of uncertainty with COVID To mask, not mask, to vax, not vax. I mean, our politicians are telling us we're way more, you know, apart than we are alike, which I think is the biggest lie in history. I think all. I think 85% of us live in the middle of way more alike. And we believe in something bigger than ourselves. We love our family, we'd like to prosper. It's crazy time in history. So you take all that uncertainty, Russell, over two years, and then you slam it right into, should I go back into the office or not? Right into the highest inflation in 42 years, into a stock market that's uncertain, into interest rates going up and up. Just went up last week again into what they're saying is going to be a 2023 heavy recession. It causes uncertainty. It causes. I'm not sure what's going on. And that causes lack of confidence. So, look, we can talk about funnels and mastermind and impact and success, but can you thrive with a funnel or in this industry at the same time while your confidence is down? And the question is, what's one thing you could share today to help build people's confidence in this shifting world?
Yeah. Such a good question. And we had an amazing opportunity a couple Months ago to sit with Tony, and Tony talked about, you know, show us a video from Buffett. From Warren Buffett.
Yeah.
And like, and what Buffett said was so fascinating is like the. The biggest thing you have during this time of chaos is your own skill set, right? Like, people who, who have the skills are the ones who. You don't fluctuate up and down, right? Like, it's like, how do you develop your own skill set? And it's interesting because, you know, I think some people come into something like this and like, I don't have a product yet or service or course, and they're scared. And, like, that's okay. Like, one of the cool things is that we're going to show you guys as you. As you build funnels and get the skill set. Like, this is actually something you can do for other people as well. I was looking recently, like, how many jobs have been created since the COVID thing. And it's crazy. It was like, I think it was like 2 or 3 million jobs a year were being made prior, and then. Or companies that knock jobs, excuse me, companies are created, and during COVID it's like 5 or 6 million new companies being created right now. So, like, there's so much. Some people creating new business and things like that, and at the same time, they need funnels as well. And like, like learn the skill set. You can use these to go build funnels for other companies and make money where you're actually, like, earning money while you're learning this principle and learning this concept and how it actually works. And so the biggest thing I would say is, like, during these times of uncertainty, the thing that is going to make you the most certain is investing in your own skill sets and, like, becoming so good, we're so valuable, right? Like, it doesn't matter what happens to the economy. Like, you're so valuable that people continue to give you money. You know, you've had a chance to go through two or three of these recessions. I've had a chance to do, I think one or two. You know, it's like, you see that and the people that survive it and thrive through aren't the ones who are scared and they go freezing. It's the ones who, like, they're learning their skill sets. They're like, figuring out, okay, what's happening in the market. Well, right now there's like, literally millions of new businesses being created. What do every single business need? Every business needs to funnel. Like, they learn the skill set, they learn how to do it, and then they apply like they go and they use those skill sets and then they're safe and they. They thrive during those times as opposed to. To struggling during those times.
I love that answer, Russell. And, you know, not that I was looking for it. I wasn't trying to be negative at the end of this. In fact, it's the complete opposite. You know, our brains can focus on what went wrong, what's taken away from us and what could go wrong, but our brains can also focus on the incredible opportunity that exists right now because most people are going to freeze. Tom Bilyeu, who we both respect, said, in times like this, people talk about fight or flight. And Tom said, no, it's the third one. They freeze. It's the third f. And I'm just going to encourage you. And I've been saying this message over and over. This is not a time to freeze. It's not a time to. To look at what's wrong. It's a time to gain capabilities from people who've already been there and seek out the opportunity because most people are going to be playing small. Most people are going to be scared. This is a time to thrive. And not because that was the name of my challenge, because it's true. And the reason I'm bringing Russell to you, if it's the first time you're meeting him or maybe you've heard of him before. And this challenge is because you have to learn from those who've already been there, gain the capabilities, go all in and then take the uncomfortable action and see that this is why in a recession, some of the biggest companies were ever built during a recession because most people are playing small. And that's not you guys. So, Russell, thank you for today. This has been so much fun. I appreciate you. Thanks for letting me ask some personal questions I think is important. And for everybody else, I'm going to be at this challenge. It's going to be rockstar. I know you don't play small first funnelchallenge10.com Russell, any last words?
