So here's three things to do if you're feeling anxious, nervous, or scared.
With all the opportunities that exist today, why haven't you reached your next level of income, life and wealth? In most cases, we've been lied to. We've been told that if you find the right opportunity and you work hard, you can be successful. And that's simply not true. Millionaires, billionaires, and successful people have realized you need the foundation for wealth, the habits. And that's exactly what you'll be learning on the Millionaire Success Habits podcast.
All success starts here. I have a personal experience here about anxiety. Have you ever, in your life, if you have, give me a heart, give me a. Like. If you've ever suffered from anxiety, if you've ever been stressed, had that, like that tension, that worry, that fear, I don't know if you have, but I have. Literally yesterday, I haven't had anxiety like that in years. And I reminded me how crippling it was. I have something going on in my personal life and we all do. I always tell you, if I didn't have things going on in life, I wouldn't be human. And I get to fight through those things. I get to learn through those things. I get to use all the things that I share and practice, and I get to find the solution and then I get to share it with you. It's the greatest gift in the world that I have, that I have this outlet to share. But I want to talk about anxiety and how crippling it truly is. Even if you're a tiny bit anxious, even if you're a little worried or even if you call it stress, it'll stop you dead in your tracks from the momentum, from breaking through. It'll keep you playing small. It'll keep you in a relationship that sucks, in a job that sucks, in a life that sucks, in a world that's just not fulfilling your heart. So yesterday, something triggered me to have anxiety like nothing I've ever had before. And I couldn't get rid of it at first. And I was stressed and I'm worried. I'm thinking, what? What is wrong? This is what I do. And literally I thought of you guys and wanting to share with you today is three ways that you can break anxiety. When you're in an anxiety loop, when you're feeling anxious, when you're feeling stressed, when you're feeling worried. Usually we're doing a few things. We're thinking of what could go wrong. We're thinking of the worst case scenario. Oh, my God. If that happens, I'll be broke if that happens. I'll lose the relationship if that, if that happens, I'll lose my family if that happens. I'll lose my money if that happens. It'll go wrong. And we don't even realize subconsciously that we're thinking of what could go wrong. And then we're stacking it. We're stacking it on top of ourselves again. If you've never had anxiety and never worry, then this one's not for you. I always say I share each week by take what serves you from what I say and throw the rest away. But if you've ever felt nervous, scared or anxious or had actual anxiety, then like this and share this with somebody else. Because I want to give you three ways right now that anxiety can go away. So I yesterday hit me so hard that I went through a couple things quick and figured it'd just go away. And it didn't. It was just lingering. So then I realized the way to do it. I was focusing on what could go wrong, even though I didn't realize I was, I was focusing on. So you either realizing, figuring something that could go wrong, or there's a deep inner fear that you have. You have a fear of being alone, you have a fear of being not loved. You have a fear that you're not good enough. You have a fear that you won't have enough money. You have a fear that your relationship's not what it should be. You have this inner fear that could have happened as a kid watching your parents, watching friends, something that happened bad when you were a kid and that fear lives in you. It's like this hidden monster that lives inside of you and something triggers it and you don't even know why. Like why do I feel so crappy? Why do I feel so scared? Why am I afraid? It's because it's dinging on that fear again. Or you're projecting in the future of something that hasn't happened yet. So here's three things to do if you're feeling anxious, nervous or scared. First of all, realize that fear. Try to identify what is that fear that is making you feel this way. That fear is truly something that could have happened to your 8 year old self, your 12 year old self. Is that fear actual or is it something just digging an insecurity inside of you? Literally yesterday I recognized why I was anxious or having anxiety because it was digging a fear I worried about when I was literally 7 to 10 years old. Something just going on with family. My parents were loved My parents dearly, but they were married a lot. We moved a lot, and there was a lot of insecurity. So that feeling hit me yesterday. So, first thing is recognize the fear and call it bullshit. That fear is something that happened to you a long time ago. History doesn't repeat yourself. You're not your family. You're not your parents. You're not your ex. You're not the person. You're you. You're here right now. That means you're someone working on being better, improving and evolving. You've had massive success. You accomplished so many things. You're a freaking badass. Don't play small. Don't feel small. Don't let a little insecure child or a past experience determine your future. So call that fear out for what it is, and let that fear just be called the lie that it is. So that's the first thing, the second thing. And I got this from my buddy Tony Robbins, who's just magnificent. And I love this. And I'm using the word magnificent, is immediately, we want to think about what's wrong and write down what's magnificent in your life. So first, call the fear out and then write down. Literally, sit in front of a piece of paper when you're stressed, nervous, anxious, feeling like you can't take action, you're feeling paralyzed, and write down what's already magnificent. And if you say, well, I don't have a lot magnificent. We do. We do. I say this all the time. We got, you know, 150,000 people die a day. We're not one of them today, Right? Find something that's magnificent. Write it down. Your family, your kids, the people in your life, the relationships you had or have, the business you're doing, the people you do. And just. Just write it down uncontrollably. Just keep writing down. Even if you say there's nothing, find it, write it, write it. So you're calling the old fear out, and now you're writing down what's magnificent. And instead of looking forward, the third thing, here's the third thing to kill stress, kill anxiety, is look to the future. Pretend it's a year from now. I use this a lot, but just in a different frame. Pretends a year from now, and just write down the ideal outcome. I know your brain wants to tell you what could go wrong. The relationship ends, the money doesn't come in, the partnership dissolves, the company doesn't work. That's what your brain wants to. I wish I was smart enough to tell you why. You know, it's flight or fight, right? And maybe it's the flight mode of just know. Let's focus on what's wrong so we protect ourselves. Maybe that's the caveman brain. That's not. I'm not the smartest guy in the world to know exactly why, but I know this. We all focus on what can go wrong. Here's. I want you to address the fear. Call it a lie, write down what's magnificent. And the third thing, like I said, is pretend. It's a year from now and everything went right. The relationship, work, the life work, the business work. The money's coming in, the deals are happening, the job is working, people are loving you, the family's okay, nobody's sick. I don't know what it is, but write that down. Those three things, those three things will break the pattern. Those three things will break that anxiety loop, that worry loop, that stress loop, that we're thinking that it's not going to happen. It's not going to work. Just like that. Now, again, for me to say, oh, you know, just. Just do that and everything will be fine. That's not the answer. Yesterday, I literally had to do these practices yesterday. Like, not just think about them. I had to sit and write. I had to sit and think. I had to go back into my life and find this fear that was living inside me that I didn't even know existed anymore. Guys, I work on this every day. I have multiple New York Times best sellers on this. It's like, I'm not. I just. I always say that to you. I don't want you to think my life's perfect because I figured this out. It's like going to the gym, which I'm doing right now. I'm late. I didn't get here until 3 o' clock in the morning. So go to the gym late. I haven't gone yet. But I wanted to share this message with you guys because it's so important. If you don't go to the gym every day, you get out of shape. If you don't work on you every day, old beliefs, old fears, old patterns will come back into your life and keep you stalled. That's my message for today. Guys, again, if you've never had anxiety, worry or stress, congratulations. I'm so happy for you. But if you have ever, those three steps usually will kick its ass. And you deserve it. Because then once the glasses are off, the anxiety, the stress, the worry glasses are off, you get a new pair of glasses that are crystal clear and you can see that bigger future that you guys deserve, you desire, and you can achieve.
