You see? You know what takes away all the worry about sales? Here's my secret. You ready? Love what you do so much that you feel bad if people don't say yes. Was Mother Teresa a saleswoman? Think about it. Was Mother Teresa? How about Martin Luther King? Was he a salesman? Hell, yes. How many people during the civil rights movement had a dream and. And wished that they could make an impact and make a difference? I bet you millions of people Martin Luther King sold his way into people's hearts. He sold his way onto streets. He sold his way into getting people to follow him. Sold his way to make a movement that shifted forever. Mother Teresa. They said Mother Teresa would come to a city and want to. Want to do something in their city. And the town said, we can't. There'll be too many people. And she'd say, let me go speak to the leaders of this city. She'd go in, sit with them for an hour. They'd come out with her arm around her, saying, anything we can do for her, we'll get it done. How? She was persuasive. She got them to take action. She got them to listen to them. She had to sell them. But if she didn't sell them, how many lives wouldn't have been affected? If Martin Luther King wasn't persuasive, could it have taken another 10 years to do what that man did Right? So selling is not bad. Selling is bad when we associate it with if you got sold a bad car one time or someone was too pushy on sales. You watch too many movies as a kid that sales are like the cheesy car salesman. We got to get that frame out of our mind and realize that Agatha can't help people with Agatha can't help people with eating plant based or Susan can't help women find their purpose and their courage and their confidence again. And every other niche possible. Can't help unless a transaction is made. Right? I want to share a couple stories here. First, pull this slide up. I showed this yesterday. I think it was yesterday. I showed Jamie Folahi. I said she did a course on eczema. I showed my little boy, Luca. She built a course. My wife bought the course. We didn't ask for it for free. Jamie didn't even know my wife bought it. And then I got to show another picture of my son. How could I not? As my wife Lisa is my little boy, Luca. Oh, my God, I love that little kid. I'm sharing that because I love seeing him and I love that beautiful smile. But I Want to let you know if you. You could take that down. I want to let you know again, because I already showed this to you yesterday. Selling isn't evil. What would have been bad is if something got in Jamie's way and she didn't sell that to us. You see, when you have something that could serve someone, I feel that you should be ethically obligated to extract it and share it because you allow them to go faster. You see? You know what takes away all the worry about sales. Here's my secret. You ready? Love what you do so much that you feel bad if people don't say yes. So we got to get this whole thought that selling is bad out of our soul. And it's not that feel. It's bad. You feel like, am I. It's a little uncomfortable, so I'm ready to block this completely. Ready. So I'm going to go through a little. I'm going to share something. If you're a part of our family, you've heard this story before. If you're new and then you know it's like a joke. For those of you who haven't heard it, it'll be funny. For those of you who have, maybe it'll remind you that it's funny, Right? But I want to tell you, my wife, Lisa, who you got to see a picture of my beautiful wife when I first met her. She's like, what do you do? You know? Like, she didn't know what I did at first. Then I started showing her, and then she came to an event, and I delivered at an event I think might have been a Tony event in Boston. We flew to Boston, or she met me there. She met me in Boston, and she saw me on stage. And at the end of stage, I. I made an offer of the course and training we were working on. She's like, oh, my. I got off stage. She's like, oh, my God, baby, you are so amazing. You are so good. I wanted to buy it. Everybody wanted to buy it, and they were so happy that you sold it to them. She's like, I could never sell. That's not me. That's your thing. I'm glad one of us can sell in this relationship. And I knew she was full of crap. She was completely full of crap. Because my wife, for those of you that don't know, she was voted the top hair stylist in Arizona for, like, eight, eight out of 10 years, made unbelievable money being a hairstylist, more than I ever thought someone could make. She has super high End clients. She does hair extensions. I'm like, damn, you can make that much doing hair extensions? Oh, my God. Right? I already knew she was good at sales. And she's like, I can't do sales. I'm like, okay, babe. So I waited. I don't know if it was an hour, a day, or a week, but I remember getting her because she's enthusiastic, she's energetic. I mean, think about when you sell something you love. When you sell something you love, you're like, oh, yeah. I went to this restaurant the other day. It was really good. You should go. I read this book. It was so good. You should read it. Or, you know, I saw this movie. Oh, my God. The man and woman, they fall in love. And it just filled my heart. It brought me back memories. Yeah, maybe you should see it. No. When you're like, oh, my God, Myrna, I saw this movie the other day. It blew my mind. It was so good. They fell in love. It was so romantic. It made me go home and want to attack my husband. You got to go see it. When you're selling something you love, are you the worst version of yourself, or are you an enthusiastic version of yourself? You're, like, on fire, alive. Your eyes are this big. You're animated. Your hands are moving. Selling is amazing when you love what you're offering them. When you want that other person to have the same experience you did, it's never selling again. I sell you guys to be here. I want to sell you into project next because I know the experience you'll have. I'm full of enthusiasm. I love it when you say yes, I. I know I can help shift your life. When you love it that way, that's the way it feels. So anyway, back to my wife. So I set her up. I said, babe, what is your. She knows I love Italian food. My grandmother came from Italy, and she made me. I just love Italian food. I love a nice Italian meal and one glass of red wine, and it's like, oh, that's kind of like comfort food for me, because that's what my grandmother always had. So I said, where should we go? And she's like, this is my wife, baby. We're foodies. Like, that's how our whole first year of relationship was. Where we're gonna go eat next? Anybody like that? Like, it's about the food, and hopefully we have a good conversation while we're having the good food, right? She's like, oh, my God, babe. Up north, there's an Italian restaurant, and they have to make the pasta themselves because it's, like, chewy. What do you call that? I'm like, al dente. Like, it's a little firm. She's like, yeah, the pasta's al dente. And they must cook the sauce all day because it's not super chunky. It's really smooth. I love when it's smooth. And they come over with fresh parmesan and they grate it over the pasta. And she's like, I don't eat a lot of meat, but the meatballs, she's like, they're so soft, and they like olive oil. And when you put your fork in the meatball, it just pops open, and it's, like, glistening. And she's telling me, and literally. Did you ever have somebody explain something so good that you're, like, right in here? You're like, it's watering in here. It's so good. She's telling me. She's like, I don't want to just go there to eat. I want to buy the recipe or buy the restaurant. I'm like, get reservations. Let's go right now. And I'm like, and by the way, babe, you're so full of crap. She's like, what do you mean? I'm like, you just sold me so hard on that restaurant. Like, I want to go this second. Right? And she's like, wow. Yeah. She's like, but, babe, it's because I love it so much. I know you love Italian food. I said, yes. And you also love every woman that comes into your store and you want to make them look beautiful. My wife loves making women look more confident. She loves when a woman might come in with a little bit thinning hair, because my wife had. What is that called? When sometimes you lose patches of hair? Somebody will come up with it. So my wife would go through times when her hair was thin. So especially if a woman comes in alopecia. Yes. Sometimes a woman will come in a little bit thin hair. And she's like, yeah, my hair. And, like, it is my wife's desire to have her leaving, like, looking sexy. My women. My wife is all about, like, women power and looking beautiful and, like, owning it and being bosses. Right. And she loves feminine bosses. I don't know if that makes more sense to you guys than it does to me. So she's telling me all this stuff. I'm like, yes. You don't sell, though. You made a gazillion dollars last year, and your clients love you. It's because you don't feel like you're selling to them, you feel like you're serving them because you have a woman come in with her confidence a little low, and when she leaves, she can't wait to go home and see her husband or her partner or friend. I said, so you never knew you were selling. And you're the best damn salesperson I ever met. If I can translate that to you today, you will want to get your course up as soon as possible and go out and get people in it so you can change their lives, so they can eat different, feel different, have love, have coach better, let go of old trauma, sell better. Like all these things. And when you love it, it changes everything. I'm going to tell you one more story. I'll tell you one more story. I was at an event with 2000 business women, and these women were on fire. They were either in business or on their way. So I get in and I did kind of. I kind of set them up. Like I set you up. Like, who's on fire? Who's ready for another level? Who's going to make next year the best year of their life? Who's ready to this? And everybody's like, yes, yes. I said, who absolutely loves selling and can't wait to sell? And it was like, wah, wah, wah. Like, it was like the oxygen got sucked out of the room, right? And, Annie, I see you shaking your head, right? And I'm like, so are some of you a little. Raise your hand if you're a little apprehensive to selling. It was like the whole room, it was like, women, power. They were all like, yes. Right? So I saw this woman in, like, the second row, and I picked on her. I'm like, okay, so tell me about selling. Why is it a problem? Why don't you like selling? She's like. I said, no, no. First off, tell me what you do. And she said, okay. For me. She said, I coach women in trimester four. I didn't really understand that at first because she said, in trimester four. She said, that's after you have a baby. She's like, you have no idea of the depression that comes in. You don't feel like you're sexy anymore. And if it's your first baby, oh, my God. You feel like you had a life, and now your whole life is making sure this little thing that cries and poops and keeps you up lives like everything else doesn't matter, and your brain and your chemicals are all going, and you look down and you still feel pregnant. She's like, a man could Never understand. True story. And thank God men don't have to give birth because we would go extinct. We stub our toe and we cry. Come on, ladies. Is that true? Like, when your husband or your boyfriend or your brother stubs his toe and you're like, really? I pushed out an eight and a half pound baby. Just shut up about your toe. Right? Totally get that. Right? So she stands up and I said, okay, tell me someone that you coach. She's like, oh, my God. Okay, I'm coaching a girl right now. She was depressed. She. She felt like her husband didn't think she was sexy. She goes, I first get in their head. And she goes, I spin their head, and then I help them do this, and then I help them get their makeup. And they do. And she's like, oh, my God. Within four weeks, this woman completely transformed. She didn't feel depressed anymore. She didn't want to take antidepressants. She's like. And I could tell she was so good at what she did. You know, when you watch somebody, you're like, she's got it. And I said, so? This is what I said to her. I said, so then why the hell are you screwing other women over? In the middle of her super excitement, she's like, what do you mean? I'm not screwing any women over. I said, yes, you are. I said, you said you're afraid to sell. She's like. And she changed. She's like, yeah, you know, I have my website up, but I don't know, it's like, I gotta ask for the money. And she's all fidgety. I'm like, then you're screwing them over. I said, do you love what you do? She goes, oh, my God, I love it. I said, are you good at it? She goes, I'm learning, but I care so much. I'm amazing at it. Where I lack in experience, I can make up with enthusiasm. I said, then why are you screwing women over right now who don't know you exist that are suffering in silence? I said, there are women in trimester four, as you taught me, suffering this very day. And they don't know what to do. They don't know if they're going to run. They don't know where to turn. They can't. They don't feel like they could talk to their husband. And they don't know you exist because you're afraid to market and sell. I said, this woman, you said, did she pay you? She goes, yeah, she paid me. Is she happy with the money? She Gave. She goes, oh, my God. She's so ecstatic. She wants to work with me for a year even after she's passed this. I said, then you're looking at it through your lens while simultaneously you're not looking through them. There's women out there searching for you right now that need you. And only two things can happen if you don't market. You let women suffer in silence. She goes, I could never let that happen. I said, then, and number two, are there other people selling what you do and is not as good as you. She goes, I don't think they care as much as me. I said, so only two things can happen because they suffer in silence because they never find you, or they go to someone else who's really too hypey in cells. But they don't deliver what you can deliver. So either way, you are screwing those women over. And I watched 2000 women just like that change just like that. In that moment. I wish I could replicate it. I hope you guys are feeling in that moment. I could feel a wave go across. Tears came out of her eyes, and she said, oh, my God, thank you, thank you. And everybody was cheering. Thank you, thank you. I'm not a miracle worker. I just have been in this for so long. I love what I do. I know it changes people's lives. Those of you that are in our weekly Facebook group, every single day, people are posting, oh, my God, first sale, or, I did this. I had a breakthrough. My husband's on board. That lights me up. I know we get those results. So I have no problem saying you right now. If you're thinking and like, what we do before this event's over, get enrolled in Project Next so I can take you to a whole next level. Right? I'm not like, oh, God. And if you want Project Next, well, I mean, you don't have to get it. Like, no, I know it's badass. I know if you want to do this, you're not going to do it on your own. You'll stumble, you'll take too long. Or you could buy the shortcut. So when you feel that way, it changes everything. And it's not incongruent. It doesn't take away your character. It actually builds when you're transparent. Who liked when I told you on day one, hey, I'm going to teach the hell out of you guys for three days. But I also like to earn your business. Was that just straight up? Was anybody insulted that I made an offer yesterday? Just be honest. Was anybody like, I Can't believe he offered me project next. That bastard. I hope not delivering all this value for free. I hope you stay on this journey. But if you don't, am I going to leave you guys a little bit better than I found you? Leave you guys with a little bit more wisdom than you found you? That's all I need. You're either going to leave and go. That guy was cool. Great stuff. Didn't feel like buying or holy crap, he gave me that for free. I'm going all in on project next. Does that feel scary, guys? Does that feel like people are going to hate you? Like you go to sell and then the sales police will show up at your door and say, I can't believe you were so rude to people. You offer them your product, put it with your hands, I'm going to put handcuffs on you like, no. Your disservice is not delivering what you have and helping people get what it is that you do. People who don't pay don't pay attention. I had $100,000. Mastermind just got so busy I couldn't do it. Great group of people. Those people who paid 100 grand showed up for spending that much money and took a note on every word I said. I mean every single word I said. I know, I over delivered. Do you know I had a dear friend. It's like, dude, that group of people are amazing. Can I come? I couldn't take money from my friend. I just couldn't do you know he showed up a day late and didn't take notes on day one. On day two, I'm like, you're not allowed in here, bro. Like either. Come and play full out. I said I should have charged you 100 grand because you're taking the knowledge I just shared for granted. The people who paid 100 grand, they're expanding their business. They're double, they're tripling because they paid 100 grand. They are going to get their hundred grand plus way more out of it. Right? So the problem is you're thinking selling is bad when actually selling is an internal transaction too. I cut a check. Okay, I'll just be honest with you. We had a VIP opportunity and the opportunity to get Mastermind on the way in, right? Do you know the people who cut even a dollar check or those of you in vip, do you know that you guys showed up at like 78%. The ones who just clicked and joined are showing up at 22%. How about that? How about that? So go ahead.
I'm really shaking right now.
What's that?
I'm really shaken. Or shooken. I don't know the best parts. I want to work with schools, the whole school, like the leadership level. And I'm always afraid because I used to have a language school, not a regular school. And I'm always afraid. And my project is with emotional intelligence. And basically the goal is anti bullying program.
Can I ask you something? What? Before we. And I'm sorry that something with the audio is really hard. But just if you could share. What are you. Thank you, guys. That was really good. So now I can read your lips a little bit better. She said she's always afraid if you guys couldn't hear it. Can you just tell me what the number one fear is? What are you afraid of?
I never owned a regular school. I had a language school.
Okay, so think about this, right? Some of the best coaches in the world, someone who coached Michael Jordan or some of the greatest athletes, Serena Williams, other amazing athletes. Some of those coaches never played the sport professionally, but they're the best coaches in the world because they're observers. They understand what's right, wrong, and other right. Sometimes someone looking in from the outside has a better perspective than someone in it. Is that true? Yeah. And I want to share something with all of you. We can collect whatever data we want to empower our negative story or empower our positive story. Right now she could say, I have never owned a school, so I shouldn't. I don't have that experience. They don't look at me in that way. Academics always look for someone who's got all the initials after the name. I don't. Or you could go find somebody who built something unbelievable, who didn't have the background. Usually the people who. I want you to hear this. Usually the people that transform an industry are the outsiders that come in and don't follow the norm. That's usually who busts an industry. And what I would say to you is, you're afraid of certain things. Afraid they might say no. Afraid you don't have the experience. And that's a fear. But let me ask you something. If it was five years from now and you didn't do any of this stuff that's on your heart, and I could feel how passionate you are. We can all feel your passion. We can all feel your desire to make change. I see you're emotional about it. You know how bad the school system needs to shift. You know that kids need to be taught emotional intelligence. You know, our school systems have been going in the wrong direction for way Too long and it's time to shift. I feel it in your heart. I don't even have to hear your words. I see it in your eyes. Would you be more fearful of trying and failing a few times and then finally getting a yes? Or would you be more fearful to look back in five years and realize you didn't do shit? I'm just being. I'm sorry. I'm sorry to say it like it is. If you look back in five years and you didn't try this, I promise you it will feel way worse than you getting a couple rejections or getting a no or saying we never work from you. Because I promise, when you get a no, you learn from that no. And the next time you're ready for that objection. And if you get another no, you're ready for that objection. And by the time you get to the third or fourth person, you got all your rebuttals dialed in. When they go well, and you go no, no, no. Let me tell you this. Whoa. Let me give you an example. And by the third, fourth or fifth no, you get a maybe and then you get a yes. And then you get a second yes. And that's the way the world works. No one is rewarded for what's easy. It's as simple as that. If it was easy, everyone would do it. Is it uncomfortable? Hell yes. You might get butterflies the first time you do it. You got to take uncomfortable action. You've got to go against your intuition. You might have to go against friends and family who said you should be satisfied with what you have. You might have to go against all that. And at the end of the day, they don't make statues of critics. They make statues of the crazy people, the dreamers. The ones that have a passion. And I feel your passion. And I know there's a lot of things and it's just hard to hear you. I'd have more back and forth conversation, but I want to tell you, you have everything you need to make this happen. I could feel your burning desire. I could feel that you want to make a change. Don't you dare let fear get in the way because you are absolutely qualified to make a change. Can we give it up for everybody? What's up? What's up? Hey, don't forget to look at the action steps we've posted below. They are the perfect way to take your success, abundance in this crazy world to a whole another level. It.
