The Truth about Action in the Face of Discomfort

Dean Graziosi argues that inaction costs you more than discomfort ever will. He pushes you to identify what your hesitation has already cost you, name your biggest fear, and use that pain as fuel to take the hard steps that move you forward.

What has lack of uncomfortable action already cost you? Think about. Is action in a new area. Taking a step, launching the course, starting the business, fixing the relationship. Saying no, saying yes. Is that comfortable? Is it easy? Hell no. Hell no. But is it worth it? Hell yes. So how do we. This word uncomfortable action has been my favorite word for the last year. Probably. So let's use that in a sentence. What has the lack of uncomfortable action already cost you? I'd love for you to share. Has it cost you another year in a bad relationship? You've been planning your escape for three years and you still haven't fixed it or ended it. Doing a video to launch your course, but you're a little nervous about it, so you didn't take the uncomfortable action. What does that cost you? Feeling inferior? Feeling like an imposter. Pretending that you know you're not good enough to do what other people do. What has that already cost you? What does that already cost you? And start identifying it now. Because if you can think about what has the lack of uncomfortable action already cost you, you can think about that and use that as another tool, another arrow in your quiver. To overcome. To overcome it in advance. When you see it coming. When you know, oh, when it comes to marketing, I get scared. Oh, wait a minute. That's already cost me a year of my life. It's already costing me 10 grand a month. That shit ain't happening again. That ain't happening again. That's not going to do it. And we have to load us up, right. Arrows in the quiver. Like the pain of inaction, the pain of being disturbed with inaction. And knowing your enemy in advance can allow you to defeat it faster. Now we're going to flip that on the side. Think of what scares you. Now I want you to ask when. When we want to move forward. Like, I'm in this today. Screw this, Dean. You're firing me up. I'm doing this. What is. If you added just one word or a couple of words, and I want you just whatever comes out, what is your biggest fear or obstacle that's in your way from moving forward right now? Like, you just think, I want to make a hundred grand a month, but I want to end my relationship. But I want to fix my relationship, but I want to get in better shape. But. And I'm not just talking about time. We all know it's time. I don't have the money. I don't have the resources. Hell with resources. You want to be resourceful. That's what we teach here. We teach resourcefulness, not giving you free money. People hit lotto go broke. You don't want the money. You want the resourcefulness. That's who we are becoming together. You're afraid to fail, but by not taking action, are you already failing? How did it feel to visualize your life in a year from now and nothing changed? How did that feel? Is that fear of failure stronger than that? Is that fear of failure or letting someone down or rejection worth that? I mean, think about a year from now if life was exactly the same. And you said, somebody said, why haven't you done anything in your life? If we had a chance to meet and we were having coffee and I said, so what's going on? And nothing changed. Why? I was afraid I'd get rejected. Think about that. Would you like saying that to me? Would you like saying that to anyone? Or I was afraid to fail, so I didn't do anything. Think about that. But I want to flip this upside down for you. Right now, your next level of life lives on the other side of the thing you fear the most or is uncomfortable to do simply that.
