A short motivational excerpt from Dean Graziosi's YouTube video 'Unlock More Time: Stay Focused!' (Oct 23, 2024). Dean reflects on how media and negative relationships consume time and urges viewers to eliminate obvious time-wasters (e.g., excessive news consumption, negative friends) to free time and move toward the person they want to become.
Two hours a day.
I got sucked into the media and I'm spending two hours a day watching the news. How did that happen? Never used to do that. It's okay, forgive yourself, but today's the day you stop it. There is just not enough time to do all the things in life that we put on our plate. So I like to live in the area of no gray areas. There are things obvious you need to stop. If you're surfing for two hours online, if you're hanging out with negative friends that make you feel bad about yourself every time you're with them, this is moving me towards the woman or the man I'm meant to be I desire to be. Or this is not moving me towards the man or the woman I desire to be. If you put it through that hardcore lens, the fact of the matter is, time will open up.
