Weekly Video Blog #101 - Give Yourself a New Kind of Break!

Dean Graziosi says you need breaks that actually restore you, not just pause your work. This week, do something you loved before stress took over: watch a movie, go fishing, have a picnic. Share what you pick.

Hi, this is Dean Graziosi. Welcome to this week's video blog. I'm a little congested. I've been flying like crazy all over the country. Just got back from San Diego late last night. Got a little head cold or something. But I'm all good. Glad to be here with you. Hey, the last three weeks have been awesome. The responses have been amazing. You know, three weeks ago I said, go on a news diet. Don't watch the news. Don't listen to the negativity. Just give yourself a break. Then the week after, I said, go on a negative person diet or negative conversation diet. And then last week I asked you to evaluate or actually two weeks ago, I asked you to evaluate what you're doing with your time every day. And then once you documented that in last week's video, I think it was four weeks. Sorry, it's been four weeks. Last week's video blog, I gave you a little cheat sheet on looking at the time and kind of evaluate it if it's helping you, your family or the universe, or if it's just kind of status quo or if it's a negative. And it's a really good way to get rid of the negative stuff in your life and apply that towards a bigger future. Now, if you haven't watched the last three or four week video blogs, you can go over here. I think. No, it's on this side. It'll say weekly video blogs. You can watch all the old ones so you can check them out. Here's what I want to give you today. The last four weeks have been just lots of great challenges and exercises. What I want you to do this week is give yourself a break. What do I mean by that? Well, I want you to continue with learning about real estate. I want you to continue to take action because action is the only thing that can get you out there. Here's one thing. Think less, do more. If you got a strategy on how to build a buyer's list, don't overanalyze, Go for it. If you want to talk to a seller, you want to drive streets and find houses that are depressed or need to be sold, just do it. Think less, do more. Action is what's going to get you out there, right? The knowledge is in front of you even on this site. My success academy set for life, my books. But you need to get out there. But here's what I want you to do this week. This is a little different challenge. I want you to do something this week with your family, by yourself. Something maybe you haven't done in years. But you love. That's what my challenge is this week. Because I know a lot of you might be stressed right now about money. You're nervous about your finances, nervous about your future. I read all the posts. I know what a lot of you are going through. But here's what we do. Sometimes when we're going through all these stressful times or trying to learn new things or get the Set for Life program going or get my success academy going, life can get gray sometimes. Can it? And what do I mean by that is maybe you don't hear the birds chirp and the sky's not beautifully blue and the trees aren't bright green. It's kind of gray because we're just kind of in that mode of got to get fixed, got to get our finances in order. Got it, got it, got it, got it, got it. Got to handle the kids, got to go to softball, got to get to their play, got to run them to school. Sometimes we're so overwhelmed, we forget to take care of ourselves. So what my challenge is this week, I want you to dig deep and find something that you used to enjoy, Something maybe you and your family love to do together. Maybe it's just something simple like going to a movie with the family or going on a picnic or going trout fishing if it's not too late in the season, or getting ready for hunting if you're a hunter or go climb a mountain or just go outside and take in a deep breath of fresh air. I don't know what it is because we're all different. We all. We're like heinz ketchup, right? 57 flavors. We all like different things. But I encourage you this week to wipe off the cobwebs off of something that used to make you feel good on the inside. I know we both have things in our lives that cost nothing but make us feel good on the inside. Maybe it's music. Maybe it's music that used to make you feel good 20 years ago. Go on Pandora.com and listen to I don't care what it is. That's your assignment this week, is to do something you haven't done in years that makes you feel good or something great with your family. And if you want to share it below, I think that would be awesome. I'm Dean Graziosi. Thanks for watching these blogs. I'll talk to you next week.
