Hi, this is Dean Graziosi. Welcome to this week's video blog. First and foremost, thanks to so many of you for the awesome comments you posted from last week's video. Me hanging with my kids, having breakfast. They're just. They're the world to me. And I appreciate everyone who shared about how they grow so quick. And believe me, I know. My daughter just turned 4 on Saturday. My son turns 2 next week, and it literally seems like yesterday they were born. And I know it's going quick, and I cherish it. I work harder than most people I know. Not probably any harder than most of you watching, but I do my best to fit in that family time because I know it's important. And so, again, I appreciate all the support. Okay, here's what I want to talk about. Last week, I talked a little bit about kind of fake it till you make it. You know, I think growing up, if I would have heard fake it till you make it, I would have thought that is something negative, like, oh, the guy's kind of faking, or the woman's faking it. It's not really what I meant. If you can internally fake it till you make it, then you exude confidence. And I think you understand that from all the great comments we got. I think you get that if you talk with your head down, you talk insecure, you talk like you're hoping to make money with real estate or maybe it could work. Well, that's the kind of results you're going to get. So find a way to get that confidence. That's what I was sharing. But I want to take it one step further. What is the story that you tell yourself and others about real estate? I want you to think about that because we all have a story. I'm going to be a little transparent here and probably share something with you that happened when you called, you saw me on tv and you called and ordered my book. You probably had someone in your life. Your wife, your husband, a relative, a friend, a boyfriend, a girlfriend, a father, a mother. Were you kind of told a story on why you bought the book. Like, you had to kind of justify it, right? Like, hey, I bought Dean's book because he seems like the real deal. Or we know this is a great time to buy in real estate. That's why I got the book, right? We all have a story. Did you ever buy a new car and someone in your family looks at you like, why did you buy that new car? And you go, oh, no, let me tell you why. I got great payments. I Got good interest rate, it's going to be reliable. I got 50,000 mile warranty. That's the story we tell others, so they look upon us in a way of approval. But here's one thing you might want to know is that when you tell someone else that story, it's what we start to believe about ourselves and the story becomes real. So I want to encourage you to make sure the story you're telling other people on why you're investing in real estate is true to the heart and it empowers you. I don't want you to have to make excuses. Someone says, why do you want to make money in real estate? You crazy? Well, I want to give it a try because I've tried these other things that didn't work and I don't really like my job. No, be proud and say I'm doing real estate because I'm learning from one of the best on the planet. He's taught thousands of people to make money in real estate and I know this is a great time and I can't wait to accomplish my first deal. It doesn't matter what they say. If they look down upon you, then let them figure out a way to change it. You don't have to change because as you exude that, your shoulders go back, your chest puffs out, and the confidence starts to build. Because what you tell other people is what you tell yourself. If you make excuses to everyone around you why you want to make more money, well, then you're making excuses to yourself and you're going to have that demeanor of I hope this works. Stop dabbling, stop being insecure. I'm telling you, you deserve everything in life that you want, every single bit of it. You deserve to be out of debt, you deserve to make lots of money. You deserve to have your life go to another level. We all do. And real estate can take you there. So even if you didn't do your first deal yet, if you've done your first deal, come congratulations. You're one of countless students all over the country doing it. But if you haven't and you're on your way and you're hitting a lot of roadblocks and you're hitting obstacles, I want you to start crafting the story that you tell other people when they ask you why you're in real estate. Puff your chest out and tell them why. Because you're taking advantage of a down real estate market. You've got some really good techniques and you're ready to take your life to the next level. That's your story. And I hope you can really internalize that and understand what I'm saying is what. What you tell other people is what you'll believe about yourself. Let's stop turning real estate as a hobby or something that might work for you or something down the road someday and turn it into the thing that can change your life forever. It starts right here. I'm Dean Graziosi. I'll talk to you next week.
