Hi, this is Dean Graziosi. Welcome to this week's blog. Hey, this is the time of year that we vote on the Send Me Away Dean contest videos. Now, if you're new to this site and you don't know about the contest, let me tell you something. It's pretty darn cool. And you can check out all the details@www.sendmeawaydean.com. we should have a link to it right on this site. I'm thinking about it, team. When you watch this, let's put a link to To Send Me Away Dean right on the site, if it's not already there. Okay, what is it? Well, it started four or five years ago. We had a contest. We said we wanted our top students, or just students who took action, made a difference in their life, to send us home videos of how things changed, how they made money, or how their mindset changed, or how they went to another level. The first year's winner was Matt Larson. He sent in a video, we got a whole bunch of videos. We voted, and he was the winner. And originally the contest was going to be that I'd send you away for a whole week, paid vacation, wherever. You know, I think we picked the Caribbean. A lot of years. I think Matt ended up choosing coming here to meet me and hang out in Arizona. So here's the point. When I sat down with Matt that very first year and I said, wow, this guy is an A player. This guy went out, was a machine shop worker with nothing and went out and made a difference in his life. While we're at dinner, we are at the Ocean Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. And it's funny, Matt and I just went there last week just to kind of celebrate. I think it's been five years since we went there and how much his life has changed. Maybe four years. Anyway, when I sat down with Matt and saw what a player he was, I said, how about this? Let's do a deal together. And hence, the evolution of the Send Me Away Dean contest was born. So now not only do you get the opportunity to go on an amazing vacation for taking action, you get to be my partner, you get to use my money, find a great deal, you use my money, we split the profits. Pretty cool deal, right? Matt and I have gone on to probably do 60, 70 deals together. And year after year, from Chip and Andrea to Carol Stenson and other students that have evolved to the top have gone on to use my money to win the Send Me Away contest to go on great vacations. Well, guess what? It's time to crown a new champion this year. And this year we've gotten so many amazing videos. First of all, let me tell you how we decide. What we've done is we've taken all the videos that we've gotten and we narrowed it down to five. And how do we narrow it down to five? Well, basically, we let everybody in our office take a look at them and vote and we take the top five votes. Top five videos, and then we let you decide who the winner is. Now, let me just tell you, narrowing down to five was really tough, especially because, I'm sorry to say some of you missed the top five who sent in videos by one vote. But unfortunately, that's the way it goes. But I don't want you to get discouraged if you're not in the top five. I don't want you to think that, you know, it's not working out for you or all the work of doing a video which I appreciate so much, you know, went wasted. Because here's one thing to know. If you enter this year and you didn't make the top five and you see who's winning, why not enter again next year? It's never going to go away. I'm never going to stop paying for vacations. I'm never going to stop being partners with my students. So here it is. Below, there's a link to show you how you can watch all five videos and then vote on who you feel is your favorite. Now, I ask you, please, even if you watch maybe one video a day for the next five days, some are fairly short, some are kind of long. But it's really important because you're going to change somebody's life. You hear what I said? You're going to change somebody's life because we're leaving this vote in your hands. The winner is going to get to be my partner and use my cash. The winner is going to go on an amazing vacation with their family. And again, if it's not you this year, might be you next year. So I urge you to please watch the videos. Make a vote. I hope they can make it so you can comment so you can comment on each person's video. So I'm going to let my Internet team and it team figure out how that all works. I just know there's going to be a link below when this video goes live where you can vote for our students for the send me away Dean contest. I hope you guys have an amazing week. I hope you take the time to vote. It'll be pretty awesome. And remember, you can watch a whole bunch of our videos sent in@deansmedia.com I'm Dean Graziosi. Thanks for everything you do. Let's crown a new champion. I'll talk to you soon.
